SHOOTING . . . STARS . . . WRESTLING !!!!Opening recap airs showing the final moments of last week’s No. 1 contenders 4 way match, with both John Morrison and Ted Dibiase Jr. being declared the winners by 2 separate officials. Highlights are also shown of the unfolding drama between the American Wolves and Prince Nana, with the announcement that the Wolves will be facing the World Tag Team champions this week. The screen goes black and we hear the fans chanting ‘S-S-W! S-S-W!’
The opening montage starts us off as ‘INSIDE THE FIRE’ by Disturbed hits. The camera comes up on the crowd pumping their fists and chanting, and the strobe lights go off on the ramp. The camera scans the crowd, focusing in on several signs in the audience. One of the signs says ‘GELATINOUS TAPEWORM’, and the other looks like a wanted post that says ‘BIG FOOT’ but has a pic of Bruiser Brody on it.
‘BREAK THE WALLS DOOOOOOWN!’ and as usual here comes the SSW Genesis champion Chris Jericho. Jericho keeps looking back at the jumbotron that just aired the footage, shaking his head and laughing to himself.
Jericho – ‘What you just witnessed was another glaring example of the gross incompetence of the SSW front office. Week after week, Shane McMahon continually shows how impotent he is as a General Manager by trying to shove Chris Jericho out of his rightful place in the spotlight. But deep down Shane McMahon knows how much he needs me . . . and all of you parasites know how much you need me too because I am simply the best thing going in this entire company! I am the best thing going in the ENTIRE UWF!!!! And I am tired of these games! So, Shane McMahon . . . I know you are back there . . . and what I want for you to do is, for once, be a man. Instead of pandering to these hypocrites in the audience and trying to make them happy by continually stacking the deck against me, do your job and procure me what is rightfully mine . . . a return match with Bruiser Brody!!!! I want the UWF title . . . I deserve it . . . and I will have it! Do you understand what I am saying to you right now????’Instead, ‘SUPERSTAR’ by Saliva hits and out comes John Morrison! Morrison yawns and asks ‘Are you through?’ He tells Jericho not to overlook him, because if he does Jericho is likely to end up being part of Morrison’s own ‘highlight reel’. Last week, he won the match and he deserves the shot at Jericho’s title. When Shane McMahon makes it official, Jericho is going to be an ex-champion very, very soon. Jericho laughs at him and says what he saw last week was Morrison losing his TV title to a ‘rookie’ . . . Wade Barrett. Jericho says that does not make him worthy of getting a shot at him because Jericho is the BEST IN THE WORLD AT WHAT HE DOES!!!! Morrison begs to differ, and he says that he does not think Jericho can out-perform him in the ring!
‘A NEW DAY’ by Adelitus Way hits and out comes Ted Dibiase Jr.!! Dibiase says that they are out here having a pissing contest for nothing because he is the one that rightfully deserves the shot at Jericho. His pin was counted by the original referee in the match, the same referee that Morrison kicked in the face earlier on. He should have been disqualified automatically and Dibiase should have been awarded the victory! He says that a wise man once said that everyone has their price, and he knows Morrison has his. He tells Morrison to name his price to just walk away and give Dibiase what is his by birthrite . . . the SSW title! Morrison acts like he is thinking about it. He names his price, and his price is the SSW title!!!!
‘HERE COMES THE MONEY!!!!’ and out comes Shane McMahon. McMahon has a solution for everyone. He says that next week Jericho will defend his title in what has become an SSW original . . . the 3 way dance!!!! Jericho appears furious at this as usual, as does Dibiase while Morrison nods his head in approval.
Commercial Break‘MIIIIISSSSSTTTTTTAAAAAAARRRRRRR’ . . . and out comes none other than Ken Anderson. Anderson cuts a promo about getting knocked out by Michael Tarver last week. Anderson calls it a lucky shot and everyone gets lucky once in a while. Tarver calls himself ‘Mr. 1.9 seconds’, but it took him 2.9 seconds to knock him out because Anderson is no ordinary man! Out comes Tarver, and he says that the angel on his shoulder is telling him to take Andersons offer, but the devil on his other shoulder is telling him that he is going to shatter Anderson’s glass jaw.

Michael TarverOnce again, Anderson attacks at the bell and beats Tarver down. Anderson does the Ali shuffle and mocks Tarver, but Tarver comes back with body shots that rock Anderson. A poke to the eye stops all of that, but Tarver catches him running in an hits a T-Bone suplex! Tarver gets a 2 count, but Anderson rolls outside to break the momentum. Tarver follows but Anderson gets a cheap shot and tosses Tarver into the ring steps. Back in the ring, Anderson hits a face-wash, then calls for his mic to come down! He starts talking trash to Tarver, but Tarver is up and hooks both of Andersons arms. Tarver unleashes a flurry of headbutts to Kennedy’s neck and chest, then takes him over in a double underhook trap suplex! Tarver goes for the Superman knockout punch, but Kennedy dodges! Finlay roll! Anderson goes up top for the Ken-ton bomb, but Tarver is up with him. Anderson shoves him off . . . KEN-TON BOMB!!!! 1 . . . 2 . . . NOOOO! TARVER GETS HIS FOOT ON THE ROPES!!!! Anderson is stunned, but waits for Tarver to get up and goes for the Mic Check. Tarver elbows out of it . . . SUPERMAN KNOCKOUT PUNCH!!!! Just like that!!!! Tarver covers and gets the 1 . . . 2 . . . 3!!!!
IN THE BACK: Shane is talking to someone about Michael Tarver, saying that he can end a match ‘just like that’ with that right hand. Shane walks off, but when he turns the corner he sees a big spread laid out with all kinds of food and stuff. Shane looks around like ‘what the hell??’ when Robert Roode walks up. Roode asks Shane if he likes it and then tells him to help himself. Roode introduces himself to Shane, but Shane already knows who he is. Roode says that he is there to talk business, and asks Shane to lead the way to his office so they can get started. Commercial BreakMatch 2: for the SSW Television title

vs.
AJ StylesAJ is in complete control early on because he is too quick for Barrett. However, the bigger man eventually uses his size and strength advantage to take the match over, isolating the back of AJ and going to work. Nigel and Katie Lea are at ringside, and Nigel is coaching Barrett as he continues to attack the back of AJ. However, AJ eventually fights back and scores with the Superman forearm on Barrett but his back is in bad shape. AJ goes on the offensive, and he nearly has Barrett set up for the Styles Clash but Nigel is on the apron to distract the ref. AJ SCORES WITH THE PELE ON NIGEL THAT KNOCKS HIM TO THE FLOOR! AJ hits the springboard 450 splash, but again the ref is distracted, this time by Katie Lea. From the other side of the ring . . . IT’S CM PUNK!!!! Punk slides in the ring and nails AJ with some open hand strikes . . . THEN A SPINNING BACK FIST!!!! Punk scoops him up . . . GO TO SLEEP ON AJ!!!! Punk slides back out, and Barrett is up. Barrett scoops AJ on his shoulders, then drives him down with the ‘Pinnacle’ (fireman cary slam). He hooks the leg and gets the 1 . . . 2 . . . 3!!!!
Nigel gets in the ring afterwards and celebrates with Barrett, while Punk is now in the crowd and he stares down AJ in the ring. For the 2nd week in a row, Punk has cost AJ a title!!!!
IN THE BACK: Josh is with the UWF World tag champs Adam Copeland and James Storm, and he asks for their thoughts on tonight’s match against the American Wolves.

You think you have what it takes to be world champs? HUH??? IS THAT WHAT YOU THINK???? Think again!!! We are the best tag team on the planet. We know it. Storm - Boys, its real simple. you chase and you chase and you chase. But then when you finally get the opportunity, only then is when it matters what you do. Let’s keep it simple for the simple people watching at home. It’s a long climb to the top. You get up and you work every day. You train and you work out and you fight. You compete every chance you get. You scratch and claw. You backstab and screw people over. You sacrifice time with your family and you continue you on, never giving up. And just when you are almost there, just when you are within seeing distance, its right there. You can almost touch it. So you reach up to grab that brass ring. But then what happens? Sorry... about yo damn luck.Back in the arena, Nigel and Barrett are still in the ring. Nigel has a mic and he cuts a promo putting Barrett over as the next big star in SSW. You have already seen him beat John Morrison, and now AJ Styles! With his tutelage he was able to achieve greatness like him and maybe one day he will go all the way to the top.
Nigel is interrupted when out come the Fortunate Sons! Cody says that he is tired of all the love being thrown around, and they are out here about business. Nigel has something that they want, that they deserve, and that is the SSW tag team titles! Nigel is hiding behind Barrett, but don’t think they haven’t noticed that he has not defended the tag titles since they won them at the 100th show! Nigel says that his partner is on the shelf, but since he won the tag titles all by himself, he would have no problem taking them both on . . . JUST NOT TONIGHT. Cody challenges Nigel to a match, and says that if he beats him, they get a title shot. Nigel agrees, but says that he wants Hennig in the ring tonight instead of Cody. That match is made for later tonight!
Commercial BreakIN THE BACK: Josh is with Beth Phoenix. Beth says that if she and Trish wrestled 100 times, then she would win 99 of them. Trish got her ‘1’ at the the 100th show but now it is Beth’s turn. What she did last week was send a message to Trish. She wants to be champion again, and she will stop at nothing to get that title around her waist. Match 3: Women’s singles match
Eve Torres
Vs.
Madison Rayne w/ Michelle McCool & MaryseA good back and forth match, and Eve shows a lot of skill in overcoming Rayne. Eve scores with a big roundhouse kick, then scores the upset win after hitting the snap rolling senton splash.
After the match Fatal Attraction gets in the ring and they are disappointed. McCool says that Rayne wants to be a part of their group, but it is obvious that she does not have what it takes. Maryse talks trash about her in French and Rayne does not know what she is saying. Michelle does not think that Madison is championship material and they turn her down, laughing in her face. Madison looks like she is about to cry, then slaps the hell out of McCool. Maryse jumps on Rayne, and Fatal Attraction beat down Rayne and leave her laying in the middle of the ring. Maryse says that was for ‘all the men that want to see us and all the women that want to be us.’
Commercial Break‘BROKEN DREAMS’ By Shaman’s Harvest hits and out comes Drew McIntyre. McIntyre cuts a promo on Shawn Michaels, saying that he ruined what was supposed to be his big in-ring debut last week. This is unacceptable. McIntyre would never resort to a cheap, underhanded sneak attack like that. He calls HBK desperate, saying he will do anything to cling to his spotlight because he sees that McIntyre is better than him in every way. HBK is desperate because he knows that he has been replaced. He is no longer relevant. Now everyone is talking about the name of Drew McIntyre. A name that signifies class, sophistication, and above all else greatness.
OOOOOH, OH SHAWN!’ and out comes HBK. Believe it or not, he is OK with what Drew McIntyre did. As a matter of fact, in some way he admires it. He wanted to get noticed, and he wanted to make an impact and what better way to do that than to jump on HBK. He’s cool with that, because he has beaten and been beaten up by the best. But if Drew wants to jump on HBK, it is not something that he just gets to walk away from. McIntyre tells HBK that it is over, that HBK has been knocked back down to the bottom of the ladder and there is nothing that he can do about it. HBK says that he has been in the ring with the best, and McIntyre cannot even lace their boots. McIntyre takes a cheap shot at HBK and they brawl, with McIntyre getting the upper hand. He goes outside and grabs a chair, but as he raises it high overhead to smash HBK . . . SWEET CHIN MUSIC OUT OF NOWHERE!!!! McIntyre is out!!!! HBK takes the mic, then says that the name of Drew McIntyre is on everyone’s lips, but now the sound of Sweet Chin Music is in the air!
IN THE BACK: After hearing from the World tag team champions earlier in the show, now Josh Matthews is with the American Wolves to get a word from the challengers concerning the main event which is up next! The Wolves are intense as usual.
Richards – ‘Make no mistake about it. Everything in the career of the American Wolves . . . all the blood, sweat, and tears . . . all the kickin ass that we have done . . . has been about this moment! Edge and Storm, we heard what you had to say earlier. You seem pretty confident seeing as how you probably wouldn’t have those titles if it wasn’t for us. Make no mistake, you’ve beaten some good teams, I’ll give you that. But you haven’t beaten us. And that’s all that really matters right now isn’t it? When it comes down to it . . . I don’t think you can! Here in a few short moments you two are going to walk into the heart of the wolves den and stand across the ring from these 2 rabid wolves right here. The question is, after it is all said and done, will you be able to still stand at all when we are done with you.’
Edwards – ‘You know, you look at us and you see 2 regular guys. We are not pretty boys, we don’t have a lot of cute catchphrases. But what we are in the best wrestling tag team in the world today. You don’t believe us Copeland . . . tonight is your chance to prove us wrong. You think you are gonna slap these Wolves in the mouth Storm? What you two don’t seem to grasp is that . . . somewhere along the way . . . you two stopped being the hunters and started being the hunted. You see us? WE ARE ALWAYS THE HUNTERS! Joe Hennig w/ Cody Rhodes

Nigel McGuiness w/ Katie Lea & Wade BarrettThis match goes back and forth from the onset, with each man trying to see who can out-heel the other. Nigel spends a good deal of time working over the arm of Hennig, but it is Cody’s interference that swings the momentum back in favor of the Fortunate Sons. This leads to a brawl outside between Cody and Barrett while Hennig takes Nigel out with a missile dropkick. Hennig goes for the Perfect-plex, but Katie Lea gets on the apron and distracts the ref. All of sudden down to the ring comes Natalya Neidhart!!!! Neidhart attacks Katie Lea, and now the 2 women are brawling at ringside as well. Nigel sets Hennig up for the Tower of London, but Cody gets the loaded elbow pad from Nattie and slides in the ring. With the ref distracted, Cody strikes with the loaded elbow pad, KO-ing Nigel!!!! Cody slides outside, and Hennig picks Nigel up and hits the Perfect-plex for the 3 count!!!!

Commercial BreakIN THE BACK: Drew McIntyre is livid and barges into Shane’s office. He says Shane went through great expense to sign him because he is a valuable commodity and does not deserve to be treated like this. Shane says that he wanted the name Drew McIntyre on everyone’s lips and now it is. Drew wants HBK in a match next week, and Shane gladly gives it to him! Main Event: For the UWF World tag team titles
(Champions) ‘The Edge’ Adam Copeland & ‘Cowboy’ James Storm
vs.
The American Wolves (Davey Richards & Eddie Edwards)Edge and Davey start it out with some nice chain wrestling, but Davey is able to frustrate Edge with his mat skills. Another lockup and they trade waist locks, but Davey gets a headlock that Edge counters into a headscissors. Davey bridges out and turns it into a backslide for a 2 count, and Edge quickly abandons the mat wrestling and hits some punches on Davey. Davey ducks a clothesline and then nails Edge with a spin kick to the gut. Snap suplex and then Davey clotheslines Edge over the top to the floor! Storm comes in, but Edwards meets him and the Wolves send Storm to the floor with Edge. The Wolves go for dives but Edge and Storm quickly get out of the way and the Wolves stop themselves and play to the crowd. Edge goes over and rings the bell repeatedly for no reason, and Storm grabs the tag titles like they are going to walk out. They calm down and return to the ring, and Edge slides in before the 10 count.
Edwards and Storm come in now, and they exchange holds as well. Storm tosses Edwards into the corner but Eddie dodges the corner charge and hip tosses him to the mat. A pair of drop kicks by Edwards sends Storm reeling, and the Wolves hit a drop toehold + elbow drop to the back of the head on Storm. Storm stops Davey with a knee to the gut then backs him into the corner and tags Edge, who comes in with a big boot to the face. Double back elbow by Edge and Storm gets a 2 count on Davey. Davey fires back on Edge and then scoops him up but Edge slips off the back . . . EDGE-O-MATIC! Edge gets another 2. Storm is tagged in, and he nails so rights but Davey fires back. Storm dodges a charge by Davey in the corner and then hits a backstabber for another 2. Quick tags in and out by Storm and Edge now, and Storm taunts the crowd. Edge up top, but Davey comes out of nowhere and runs up the ropes and hits a big belly to belly suplex off the top on Edge!!!! Both men are down. HOT TAG TO EDDIE, WHO COMES IN A HOUSE OF FIRE!!!! Fireman carry into a facebuster by Eddie on Edge . . . jumping codebreaker from the 2nd rope to Storm! Edwards charges Edge, but eats a big boot, followed by a half nelson DDT. Richards is back in and goes for the DR Driver on Edge, but he reverses out of it . . . EDGE-ECUTION!!!! 1 . . . 2 . . . NOOOO! Davey kicks out!!!!
Edge moves in for the kill and he crouches in the corner for the spear! He charges . . . KICK TO THE FACE BY RICHARDS!!!! Eddie slides in and grabs Edge in a power bomb . . . THRILL OF THE HUNT (power bomb by Edwards + Backstabber by Richards)!!!! 1 . . . 2 . . . NOOOOO! Storm grabs the ref by the leg and pulls him outside the ring! RIGHT HAND BY STORM DECKS THE REF!!!! Edwards outside and he brawls with Storm. Edge reverses a whip and Richards tries to come back with the handspring enziguri . . . BUT GETS SPEARED OUT OF THE AIR BY EDGE!!!! HOLY SHIT!!!! Edge makes the cover now, but there is no ref. Another ref runs down to the ring . . . 1 . . . 2 . . . NOOOOO! EDWARDS IS IN TO BREAK IT UP!!!! He doesn’t see Storm come back in the ring . . . GLANCING SUPER KICK TO EDWARDS!!!! Storm charges, but Edwards tosses him up . . . ALARM CLOCK BY THE WOLVES!!!! 1. . . 2 . . . NOOOO! EDGE BREAKS IT UP!!!! Edwards is tossed to the floor, and Edge and Storm hit a double suplex on Richards. They toss Richards to the ropes . . . HANDSPRING ENZIGURI OUT OF NOWHERE BY RICHARDS TAKES OUT STORM!!!! Edge crouches for the spear, but at the last second Richards leapfrogs over him and Edge crashes into the turnbuckle! YAKUZA KICK IN THE CORNER BY RICHARDS + ENZIGURI FROM THE OUTSIDE BY EDWARDS ON EDGE!!!! Edwards gets Edge on his shoulders . . . HOUR OF WOLVES (Doomsday Cutter)!!!! 1 . . . 2 . . . 3!!!!

The fans are going crazy as the Wolves grab the titles and celebrate! Even Shane McMahon comes out and congratulates the Wolves. However, the original ref comes back in the ring and is waving it off. HOLD THE PHONE!!!! The two referees are having a conference and Shane McMahon even gets involved. However, Shane looks pissed! The original referee goes to the ring announcer, and he rules that James Storm and Edge have been disqualified for striking him earlier in the match!!!! The crowd erupts in boos as the ref declares that the Wolves are the winners, but Edge and Storm are still the champions!!!! The fans start throwing things and Davey grabs the mic. He says that if Storm and Edge want their belts, they need to come back in the ring and get them!!!! Edge and Storm hit the ring and all four men start brawling all over the place. Shane is waving to the back for more security, and an army of people emerge from the back to separate the 4 men. Storm grabs both of the title belts and he and Edge manage to escape, being pelted with trash from the fans as they make their way up the ramp.
