Live from the US Cellular Arena in Milwaukee, Wisconsin . . . this is . . .

Shooting Stars Wrestling #14 SSWlogo

SHOOTING . . .STARS . . . WRESTLING!!!!

The SHOOTING STARS WRESTLING promo airs to ‘DON'T QUESTION MY HEART' by Saliva

The screen is blank as we hear the fans in the arena chanting ‘S . . . S . . . W!!!! . . . S . . . S . . . W!!!!’ The screen comes up on a rowdy arena full of fans pumping their fists and chanting along as strobe lights go off and the camera pans through the crowd. Mike Goldberg and Joe Rogan are standing ringside. They welcome the fans to the show and put over that tonight the Pure title tournament is slated to continue and in the main event we are going to see the Motor City Machine Guns challenge Deuce & Domino for the SSW tag team titles!!!!

As Mike and Joe are pumping up tonight’s show, they are suddenly interrupted as three men make their way through the crowd toward the announce position. No music signals their arrival, and all three men are wearing black as they jump over the railing and make their way to where Joe and Mike are. A stunned silence falls over the crowd as Kurt Angle, Shelton Benjamin, and Charlie Haas now stand face to face with the SSW announce team. Shelton reaches out and jerks the microphone out of Joe’s hand.

Benjamin – ‘All the talk about SSW is they are the next chapter, the future. Well, Team Domination is about the future. We have an olympic gold medalist that will dominate singles. His skills in the ring are second to none. The Pure title is made for one man, that man, is Kurt Angle.’

He hands the mic to Angle

Angle – ‘Right here we have the single greatest combination in tag team history. Charlie Haas was a star at Seton Hall where he achieved all American status in both wrestling and football. Charlie spurned a tryout for the NFL, claiming it wasn't physical enough. Shelton Benjamin dominated amateur wrestling in high school, where he won the state championship three consecutive years in his weight class before going on to become an All-American at the University of Minnesota, not only dominating on the mat, but coaching as well. These two men know ways to inflict pain that you can't even comprehend. They are the perfect combination of science, high flying, and brawling.’

Angle hands the mic to Haas

Haas – ‘You put the three of us together, and you have a force unlike any other. Individually, we are already unstoppable, as a team, we are straight up dominant! There isn't a six man unit in this business in our league. We are pain, agony, and we are reality. The next chapter needs to prepare for the dawning of a new age . . . the age of DOMINATION. Because we are TEAM: DOMINATION!

Haas tosses the mic back to Joe, and the three men make their way over the railing and back into the crowd, where they disappear among the people. Joe and Mike sit there in stunned silence.

Kofi Kingston is shown in the back on his way to the ring. They way this show has started out, what is going to happen next? Kofi Kingston is getting set to make his in-ring debut in SSW coming up next! He walks through the back and passes some of the women of SSW standing around talking. He introduces himself to them, and Beth Phoenix tells him he has a cool accent. He tells her that she is the reason that SSW is like Paradise. She smiles and he walks off, but Idol comes up to Beth and asks her what she is doing talking to that ‘beach bum’.

Commercial Break

Joel Gertner tries to get an interview with the Motor City Machine Guns about their tag title match tonight. However, as he walks into the locker room, he finds the Guns laid out!!!! The EMT’s come in and tend to them, and Mike says that their tag title match against Deuce & Domino tonight is obviously now in jeopardy. But who could have done it? Deuce & Domino? The Hart Foundation? What about Team Domination, who made their debut just moments ago?

Back at ringside, Mike and Joe are still buzzing about what happened before the break. Kurt Angle, Shelton Benjamin, and Charlie Haas are in SSW!!!!

Kofi Kingston
Weight: 225 lbs
Hometown: Jamiaca
Music: SOS by Collie Buddz
Finisher: Jamiacan Buzzsaw kick (450 kick)

Vs.

Chavo Geurrero Jr.
Weight: 210 lbs
Hometown: El Paso, Texas
Music: ‘Oooooo, Chavo’ WWE theme
Finisher: Gory Bomb

Kofi gets a decent reaction as he comes out, and he and Chavo have a good match. Chavo tries to call on his experience advantage, but kofi matches him hold for hold. Chavo hits the ‘3 amigos’ on Kofi and goes up top for the frog splash, but Kofi recovers and scales the ropes to hit a top rope huricanrana. Kofi hits the ropes and drops both legs on the chest of Chavo, after some theatrics but Chavo kicks out. Kofi is on the offensive, but Chavo rakes the eyes to stop the momentum. Chavo goes for the ‘Gory Bomb’, but Kofi reverses it into a sunset flip for the 3 count.

Shane McMahon confronts Deuce & Domino backstage. He suspects them of being the ones that attacked the Guns earlier tonight. Deuce & Domino claim their innocence, saying that they aren’t afraid of facing anyone, and they will crack whoever in the mouth that Shane puts in front of them. Shane says that the match is still on for tonight, and that is just fine with Deuce & Domino.

Commercial Break

The Hart Foundation approach Shane and ask to fill in for tonight’s main event. They want a shot at the tag titles. Shane suspects that the Hart Foundation had something to do with the attack, and says that if he finds out it was them they will be suspended. As Shane is walking through the back, he is also approached by Gods of Gravity and Kyo Dai about the potential title shot tonight.

The Hart Foundation music hits and out comes the SSW Genesis champion Owen Hart. Owen comes out and cuts a promo on how he is the most dominant singles champion in the NWA, and the Hart Foundation rules SSW. Tonight, Lance Storm is going to make an example of that degenerate CM Punk, and he is going to go on to win the Pure title. If Shane McMahon was smart, he would put the Hart Foundation in the tag title main event tonight, and then they would bring home the gold as well. The fans boo him, but he tells them not to blame Canada . . . blame themselves.

Speaking of Canada, the Hart Foundation showed their dominance last week by beating your American heroes John Cena, Brent Albright, and CM Punk within an inch of their lives and claiming victory in the flag match. As a matter of fact, he demands that the Canadian national anthem be played in honor of their victory right now!!!! He demands that they all stand and show respect!!!! The anthem plays and Owen stands there and holds the Canadian flag, but out of the crowd comes CM Punk!!!! Punk jumps Owen from behind, interrupting the playing of the Canadian National Anthem!!!! Owen is taken by surprise, and Punk scoops him up and gives him the GO TO SLEEP! Punk grabs the mic and starts singing the Canadian Anthem, but then stops and says that Owen is in AMERICA, not Canada. And he just . . . got . . . Punk’d! The Hart Foundation hit the ring and Punk bails out through the crowd.

Footage is shown of the events that have led up to this match between Idol Stevens and Frankie Kazarian

Aaron ‘The Idol’ Stevens
weight: 237 lbs
hometown: Martha’s Vineyard
music: Jesus Christ Superstar by Andrew Lloyd Webber
finisher: Idolizer (modified swinging neckbreaker)

vs.

Frankie Kazarian
Weight: 230 lbs
Hometown: Anaheim, California
Music: ‘Sad but True’ by Metallica
Finisher: Wave of the Future

Kaz takes control of the match from the start in this one, as Beth looks on anxiously. Kaz controls the opening moments, hitting a series of stiff leg kicks and then laying Idol out with a spinning heel kick. Idol bails outside, but Kaz hits a springboard plancha onto him on the outside. Kaz tosses him back in and says something to Beth, but this gives Idol a chance to cheap shot him as he crawls back in. Idol takes over, punishing Kaz, while Beth looks concerned. The fans cheer Kaz on, and he starts a comeback. He hits a swinging neckbreaker on Idol, then goes up top and nails a guillotine leg drop for a 2 count. Kaz sets him up for the ‘Wave of the Future’, but Idol grabs the ropes and blocks it. Idol goes for the ‘Idol-izer’, but this time Kaz blocks it and sets Idol on the top rope. He climbs up and goes for the ‘Flux Capacitor’, but Beth gets in the ring and low blows Kaz as the ref is turned away. Kaz falls and hangs himself on the ropes, and Idol hits an elevated ‘Idol-izer’ for the 3 count!

Your winner . . . Aaron ‘the Idol’ Stevens

Idol and Beth make out, as Beth smiles wickedly at Kaz, who is laid out in the ring.

CM Punk

Hometown: Chicago, Illinois
Music: ‘Miseria Cantere: The Beginning’ by AFI
Finisher: Go to Sleep, Anaconda Vice

Much to his surprise, Punk matches Storm hold for hold in this match. Punk has the advantage early on, forcing Storm to waste a rope break early as Punk locks in a knee bar. Storm gets the advantage on Punk by rocking him with hard right hands, catching Punk by surprise. Storm ignores the refs warnings and wastes another rope break just to pummel Punk. Storm concentrates all his efforts on the heavily bandaged knee of Punk, injured last week when Storm hit him in the knee with the Canadian flag pole. Storm locks on the Sharpshooter, but Punk gets to the ropes to break it. Storm is relentless, and goes right into the Canadian Maple leaf and forces Punk to use another rope break. Soon, both men are out of rope breaks. Punk tries to come back, but can’t put much weight on the injured leg. He scoops Storm up for the GTS, but his knee buckles and Storm drills him with the ‘Deep Impact’ piledriver. Punk kicks out at 2, but Storm goes up top for a missile dropkick. Punk trips him, crotching him on the top rope, and he hits a super-plex. The crowd is behind Punk as he tosses Storm into the corner and hits the ‘Kitchen Sink’ running knee, and follows it up with a bulldog. Punk sets Storm up for the Pepsi Plunge, but out of the back runs Owen Hart. Owen nails Punk in the injured knee and he falls to the mat, allowing Storm to lock in the Canadian Maple Leaf. Punk cannot get to the ropes, but reaches out desperately. Owen stares Punk right in the eyes, taunting him and telling him to give it up. Punk holds on for a few moments, but then has no choice but to tap out.

Your winner, and advancing in the Pure title tournament . . . Lance Storm!

After the match, Owen slides in the ring and attacks Punk, stomping on his knee. Owen tries to lock Punk in the Sharpshooter, but John Cena hits the ring and makes the save. Cena turns and looks at Punk for a moment, who is clutching his knee on the ground. Cena looks pissed, but a brief moment of concern for his fellow man creeps across his face and he tries to help Punk up. Punk doesn’t know it’s Cena, and he responds by slapping Cena across the face. Cena immediately picks Punk up and gives him the F-U. Cena stares down at Punk, getting a few boos from the crowd, for a moment and then he just walks out.

Shane is in the back in his office. Shane says that all the spots in the Pure title tournament have been claimed except for 2. He is pleased to announce that he has found replacements for the 2 empty spots. One of them you saw earlier, is the former Olympic Gold Medalist Kurt Angle. His opponent will also be making his debut in SSW coming up next!!!!

Commercial Break

Elijah Burke comes down to the ring to a big pop from the crowd. He is quite popular here in SSW. He awaits his opponent, and Mike and Joe wonder who it could be. Whoever it is, it will be someone making their debut for SSW and the person that will be facing Kurt Angle next week in the final Pure title 1st round match! As Burke waits, ‘MY NAME . . . IS FINLAY!’ comes over the speakers accompanied by Celtic music, and out comes none other than the ‘Belfast Bruiser’ Fit Finlay!!!!

‘Belfast Bruiser’ Fit Finlay
Weight:
Hometown: Belfast, Ireland
Music: ‘My name is Finlay’ WWE theme
Finisher: Celtic Cross

Vs.

Elijah Burke
Weight:
Hometown: Jacksonville, Florida
Music: ‘Livin in America’ by James Brown
Finisher: Elijah Express

Burke and Finlay tear into each other, hammering each other with chops and forearms. Burke abandons his game plan and starts boxing with Finlay, hitting some stiff right hands. Finlay gets the advantage though, turning a sunset flip into a sit out splash and knocking the wind out of Burke. Burke fights back, showing his athleticism and hitting the ‘Outer Limits’ elbow in the corner. Burke goes for the Elijah Express in the corner but Finlay moves out of the way and Elijah inadvertently hangs himself in the ‘Tree of Woe’. Finlay stomps Burke right in the face. The ref tries to pull him off, but Finlay ignores his warnings and keeps stomping and punching away at the defenseless Burke. The ref awards the match to Burke by disqualification.

As Finlay makes his way to the back, Mike and Joe talk about him being in the Pure title tournament. Don’t let him fool you, Burke found out just how good of a brawler that Finlay is, and next week Kurt Angle will find out that he’s not just a brawler, but a wrestler too.

The match for the SSW tag titles is coming up next, and Shane has gathered Gods of Gravity, The Hart Foundation, and Kyo Dai in his office. He doesn’t know who attacked the Motor City machine Guns tonight, but he is going to find out. And when he does, there is going to be hell to pay. But in the meantime, he has a tag title match scheduled next in the main event but he has no opponents for the champs. He held a random drawing to determine who the team is that will face them, and it will be the Hart Foundation. He reluctantly wishes them luck and lets them know the match is next.

Commercial Break

SSW Tag Titles
The Hart Foundation (Teddy Hart & Harry Smith)
Manager: Jimmy Hart
weight: 454lbs
hometown: Calgary, Alberta Canada
music: Hart Foundation theme
finisher: Hart Attack 2.0 & Running Powrerslam

-vs-

Deuce & Domino
manager: Cherry
Weight: 475 lbs
Hometown: The other side of the tracks
Music: generic 50's music
Finisher: Crack 'em in da Mouth

The fans are up in arms with their hate for the Hart Foundation, and Deuce & Domino strangely get a pop from the crowd. Deuce & Domino control the beginning of the match, and it breaks down into a brawl as all 4 men fight around ringside. D & D get Teddy in the ring and work him over for a little bit, but Jimmy Hart is able to distract the ref while Harry comes in and takes a cheap shot at Domino. Teddy makes the tag legally, and the Hart Foundation take over and double team him for a long time. Deuce has to get in the ring several times in order to break up pinfalls. Harry sets Domino on the top rope and goes for a back suplex, but he twists in mid-air to land on him on the way down and then both men are down. Domino makes the hot tag to Deuce at the same time Teddy is tagged in, and Deuce cleans house. He takes him out with a heel kick, then plants him with the ‘Deuces Wild’ (pedigree into bulldog) but Harry breaks the pin up. Domino grabs Cherry’s skate and KO’s Teddy as the ref has his back turned, but then the ref tries to put him out of the ring. While this is going on, Jimmy tosses the Megaphone to Harry and he nails Deuce with it!!!! Both Deuce and Teddy are out, but Harry pulls Teddy on top of him. The ref turns around and sees Teddy on top of Deuce and counts the 1 . . . 2 . . . 3!!!!

Here are your winners, and NNEEEEEWWWW SSW tag team champions . . . Teddy Hart and Harry Smith . . . The Hart Foundation!

Owen and Lance come out to celebrate with Teddy and Harry as Domino helps Deuce out of the ring. The show ends with the jubilant Hart Foundation in the ring celebrating with the new SSW tag team champions!
