The opening montage starts us off as ‘TILL I COLLAPSE’ by Eminem hits. The camera comes up on the crowd pumping their fists and chanting, and the strobe lights go off on the ramp. The camera scans the crowd, focusing in on several signs in the audience. Mike Goldberg and Joe Rogan are at the announce table and put over tonight’s show, which is scheduled to have an appearance by the UWF World Heavyweight Champion BRUISER BRODY!
‘BREAK THE WALLS DOOOOOOOOWN!’ and this brings out Chris Jericho. Jericho appears very confident despite the fact that Brody is scheduled to be here tonight.
Jericho – ‘Despite what all of you parasites may think, I am not concerned in the least about Bruiser Brody supposedly being here tonight. As a matter of fact, I am looking forward to it. If anything, it should be Bruiser Brody who is nervous because sometime tonight he will have to stand face to face with me. And in that moment, the fraudulent farce of his championship reign will be revealed as merely smoke and mirrors and he will be exposed as a phony he is for the world to see. You see, I am the one that should be standing where Bruiser Brody is today. I am the one that rightfully won the King of the Ring, and I am the one that should be standing here tonight as your world heavyweight champion. BECAUSE I AM THE BEST IN THE WORLD AT WHAT I DO! But rather than come out here and wallow in self pity like all of you hypocrites would do, I am here tonight to expose Bruiser Brody for the fraud that he is and show each and every one of you that this ‘aura’ that you have created around him is nothing more than smoke and mirrors concocted by Paul Boesch and the UWF Board of Governors to cover their own mediocrity.’‘HERE COMES THE MOOOOOOONEY!’ and out comes Shane McMahon. Shane says that Brody has not arrived yet, but rest assured he will be here.
Jericho – ‘So basically you interrupted me to tell me something that the whole world already knows . . . BRUISER BRODY IS AFRAID OF CHRIS JERICHO! Everyone saw what I did to Brody right here last week! As a matter of fact Shane, I am glad that you are out here. Because, as the No. 1 contender to the UWF World title, I am demanding that you grant me a title shot against Bruiser Brody! Do you understand what I am saying to you right now?’Shane says that they all know that was not really Brody last week, but he still has good news for Jericho. He pulls out a contract and tells Jericho that it is for a world title match against Brody . . . RIGHT HERE NEXT WEEK!!!! Jericho starts to say something, but Shane says that there is more. Shane says that this could be the most important match in the history of SSW, so to make sure that nothing gets out of hand he made a phone call and is bringing in a special referee!!!! He introduces the newest signee to SSW, and the special referee for the match next week . . .
. . . SHAWN MICHAELS!!!! . . .
HBK comes out to a tremendous pop as he dances his way to the ring. Jericho does not look happy.
Jericho – ‘Shane, if you want to continue to inflate your own ego by thinking you are going to ‘ensure’ anything, be my guest. You want to bring in a referee, that is fine with me. But let me make one thing perfectly clear to you (points at Michaels). If you do anything but call this match right down the middle, if you try to screw me over in any way . . . I will hurt you!’HBK interrupts and tells Jericho to calm down. He has been brought in to do a job, and that job is to referee this match. That is exactly what he is going to do because he is the only person that can. He says that there is a new sheriff in town . . . and that is the ‘Heartbreak Kid’ Shawn Michaels!!!! HBK takes the contract out of Shane McMahon’s hands and tells Jericho that tonight he is going to make this contract official. HBK’s music hits and he dances out of the ring with the contract in his hands as Shane and Jericho are left standing in the ring.
Commercial Break Match One: Singles Match
Michael Tarver
Vs.
Roderick StrongTarver looks very impressive in this match, and he works over the ribs of Strong. The announcers talk about Strong being mainly a tag team wrestler, and he has no one to tag out to. Tarver uses a very MMA-based style with a lot of suplexes, and he works over the ribs of Strong. Strong manages to overcome the damage to the ribs and strike back, hitting a series of backbreakers on Tarver. Strong is able to end this competitive match after hitting the double-knee gutbuster followed by the ‘sick kick’ for the win.
IN THE BACK: SSW tag team champion Nigel McGuiness cuts a promo on John Morrison. Last week he had Morrison beat, he just needed one more second. He calls Morrison ‘Elton John’, and says tonight he is going to add more gold to his collection and become the TV champion. Commercial Break Back from break, Beth Phoenix comes out to the ring and gets a good ovation. She talks about her match with Trish 2 weeks ago, and puts Trish over as one of the greatest women wrestlers on the planet . . . IF NOT THE GREATEST. Her knee is banged up but she wants another title match. Beth is interrupted by Fatal Attraction, who make their way to the ring. McCool gets on the mic and runs down Beth, saying that she and Maryse are the 2 best women’s wrestlers in the world. McCool distracts Beth, allowing Maryse to clip her leg from behind. Fatal Attraction put the boots to Beth until AJ LEE runs out to make the save! Lee fights off Fatal Attration, but the numbers are too much and Lee gets beat down as well. The beatdown of Beth and Lee continues until the US Champion Trish Stratus runs down and chases them off.
IN THE BACK: AJ Styles confronts Shane McMahon in the back and demands that he suspend CM Punk for what he did to him last week. Shane says no, because if he suspends Punk then how will AJ get his revenge? Instead, he is going to give AJ his chance tonight. He says tonight it will be AJ vs. Punk in a street fight!!!! Match 2: for the SSW Television title (special extended time limit)
(Champion) John Morrison
vs.
Nigel McGuiness Morrison comes out with his shoulder heavily taped. The time limit has been extended in this one from 10 to 15 minutes after last week’s draw. Nigel goes after the shoulder right away, and Morrison is able to fend him off him the early moments. Morrison strikes with a back heel kick and then clotheslines Nigel to the floor. Barrett helps him up, but Morrison takes both of them out with a slingshot plancha to the floor! Morrison hurts his shoulder on the dive. He tosses Nigel back in, but Barrett nails him with a hard clothesline on the floor! The ref ejects Katie Lea and Barrett, sending them to the back. Back in the ring, Nigel gets the arm wringer and slings Morrison face-first to the match, then goes to work on the arm some more. Nigel gets the London Dungeon, but Morrison refuses to tap and makes it to the ropes to get the break. Morrison scores with the Flying Chuck and both men are down. Morrison unleashes on Nigel, hitting the STO backbreaker followed by a hangman neckbreaker and then a standing shooting star press!!!! Nigel survives, then gets hit with another Flying Chuck! Morrison goes for the Morrison Starship, but his arm is hurt too bad. Instead, he goes for the Palace of Wisdom but Nigel turns it into the hammerlock DDT! LONDON DUNGEON AGAIN!!!! Morrison squirms free and kicks Nigel right in the face! PALACE OF WISDOM!!!! Both men are down, and Morrison summons the energy to spring himself to the top . . . MORRISON STARSHIP!!!! Morrison is clutching the arm and unable to make the cover, and the bell rings!!!! The 15 minute time limit has expired!!!!
Morrison has to be helped from the ring by referees, but Nigel attacks him from behind in the isle. He takes him back to the ring and slams his shoulder into the ring post, then gives him the Tower of London off the ring apron to the floor!!!!
Commercial Break ‘A NEW DAY’ by Adelitus Way hits and out comes Ted Dibiase and Cody Rhodes. Dibiase cuts a promo on Jericho, saying that heis so concerned about Bruiser Brody but he should be concerned about him because he will be the next SSW champion. He says that he promised Cody a partner tonight, and he introduces . . . Joe Hennig!!!! Out comes Hennig, sporting a cocky new heel persona, as Dibiase puts over that he is a 3rd generation star. Dibiase tells the fans to look at the future of SSW, and says that it sure is good to be the ‘Fortunate Sons’.
A promo airs for the American Wolves. Highlights are shown of them facing off with different tag teams, and the voice-over is from the promo that Davey Richards cut last week about them wanting a shot at the tag team titles.Match 3: Singles Match
‘The Black Pope’ Elijah Burke
Vs.
Bobby LashleyThis is a hard hitting match that starts out as a brawl going all around ringside. Burke is able to hold his own against Lashley by using his quickness and striking ability. However, Lashley is finally able to corner Burke and use his power against him. Burke is beat down pretty bad but he won’t quit, and he fights back by hitting the ‘4-up’ on Lashley. Burke hits the outer limitz elbow but when he goes for the Express Anderson is up on the apron to distract him. The referee tries to get Anderson down, and Burke charges and nails him with the Express, knocking him off the apron into the railing. Lashley is up and goes for the spear, but Burke dodges and he smacks the turnbuckle . . . ELIJAH EXPRESS!!!! Burke makes the cover, BUT LASHLEY KICKS OUT!!!! Burke goes for the Experience (Codebreaker), but Lashley shoves him off . . . SPEAR!!!! Both men are down! They try to get up . . . PIMP SLAP BY BURKE!!!! Burke sets Lashley up for the Express again, but Anderson is in and nails him with a clothesline!!!! The ref calls for the bell!!!!
After the match, Anderson puts the boots to Burke. Burke fights back . . . 4-UP TO ANDERSON!!!! Burke goes for the Express . . . BUT GETS CUT OFF BY A SPEAR FROM LASHLEY!!!! Lashley crouches again and waits for Burke to get up . . . ANOTHER SPEAR!!!! Burke is in bad shape, and this time Anderson has to haul him to his feet. He holds Burke up by the hair for another Spear from Lashley!!!! Anderson and Lashley leave as Burke looks to be bleeding from the mouth.

CM PunkPunk meets AJ in the isle as he makes his entrance, and the fight is on! Punk dominates AJ early on, beating him up onto the stage before the fight spills into the bleachers!!!! Punk rocks AJ with a right, sending him tumbling down the stairs, then hits a suplex into a row of chairs!!!! AJ tries to crawl away, but Punk grabs a chair and smashes AJ across the back with it!!!! Finally the two make it back to the ring, with Punk still in control. Punk looks like he is toying with AJ, hitting the ‘Welcome to Chicago’ and then just pounding on him with punches. The tide turns when Punk goes for the running knee in the corner and AJ dodges, then back drops Punk over the top rope onto the ring steps below!!!! AJ takes over, showing that he can be just as vicious as Punk. AJ unfolds a steel chair in the ring . . . BRAINBUSTER ON PUNK ONTO THE STEEL CHAIR!!!! This is not enough to get the 3 count though, and AJ hits the springboard 450 splash! 1 . . . 2 . . . PUNK KICKS OUT AGAIN! AJ goes up top, but somehow Punk is able to pull himself up and he cuts him off. They fight on top . . . PEPSI PLUNGE BY PUNK!!!! Both men are down! Punk rolls outside and sets a table up at ringside. He rolls back in as AJ charges . . . SNAP POWERSLAM BY PUNK!!!! Punk has a steel chair . . . bulldog on AJ onto the steel chair!!!! 1 . . . 2 . . . NOOOO! Punk goes right into the Anaconda Vice!!!! AJ fights to keep from tapping, and he thumbs him in the eye again!!!! Punk releases the hold and AJ charges, but Punk backdrops him to the apron. Forearms by Punk rock AJ, and he goes out onto the apron with him. He tries to give AJ the Pepsi Plunge off the apron through the table!!!! AJ blocks it, then hits a low blow on Punk! STYLES CLASH OFF THE APRON THROUGH THE TABLE!!!! AJ rolls Punk back inside, and he has a chair. WHAM . . . CHAIR SHOT TO THE HEAD OF PUNK! 1 . . . 2 . . . NOOOO! Punk kicks out!!!! AJ has the chair and waits for Punk to get up . . . WHAM! ANOTHER CHAIRSHOT!!!! 1 . . . 2 . . .NOOOOOOO! AJ picks Punk up again . . . STYLES CLASH ON THE STEEL CHAIR!!!! 1 . . .2 . . . PUNK KICKS OUT AGAIN!!!! AJ is pissed now, and Punk is barely conscious. Where is he getting the strength to kick out???? AJ ties Punk in the ropes . . . WHAM! WHAM!!!! 2 more vicious chairshots and Punk looks like he is unconscious! AJ releases him from the ropes and covers . . . 1 . . . 2 . . . 3!!!!
A bloody AJ gets his hand raised and limps to the back as EMT’s hit the ring to check on Punk, who is not moving. Mike and Joe quickly cut to a commercial break.
Commercial Break Back from break, Joe rejoins Mike at the announce table as Punk is carried off on the stretcher. Joe says it does not look good.
Shawn Michaels’ music hits and HBK comes out to the ring carrying a clipboard. He comes out to the ring and grabs the microphone.
HBK – ‘You know, last week when I was sitting at home and got the call from Shane McMahon asking me for a favor, I had no idea what he needed. But I jumped at the opportunity to come here. When I got here and found out that he wanted me to step in and be the special enforcer for what could be the most important match in SSW history, I looked at him and said ‘no one in their right mind would do this’. Lucky for you, ole HBK is nowhere near being in his right mind. You see, there is only one man crazy enough to do this gig, and that is Shawn Michaels. But now there is a new sheriff in town, and it starts tonight because in my hands I have the contract to next week’s world title match. And I am the one that is going to get this baby signed, sealed and delivered.’‘BREAK THE WALLS DOOOOOOWN!’ and Chris Jericho interrupts.
Jericho – ‘I can tell already that you are letting this ‘special enforcer’ nonsense go to your head Michaels. This is my show. This is my moment. My advice to you is to stay out of my way. Your only purpose in life is to make the 3 count and raise my hand in victory, proclaiming me the NEW UWF World Heavyweight Champion!!!! I am warning you Michaels, do your job or you are going to get hurt.’HBK says that he has heard that from a lot of guys before. You see, he has been the World Champion. He has been to where Jericho wants to go, and he doesn’t know if Jericho has what it takes! HBK earned his shot by winning the Royal Rumble, not by complaining so much that people got tired of hearing it. He did it by being a man. Until he has that title around his waist, Jericho will never be ‘THE MAN’. You can tell Jericho is pissed by this comment, but he does not have time to react when ‘BAD TO THE BONE’ by George Thorogood hits and out comes the UWF World Champ Bruiser Brody along with Sir Oliver Humperdink!!!!
Brody hits the ring ‘Hussing’ and barking, but Jericho stands unmoving at the podium. Jericho jerks the contract out of HBK’s hand and signs it. Humperdink tells Jericho that he just signed his own death warrant. Brody takes the contract and signs it as well.
Jericho – ‘Now that your fate has been sealed, I want to enlighten you to something. I am not afraid of you. You may have been able to fool everyone else, you may have the entire UWF Board of Governors in your corner, but you have not fooled me. I am the best in the world at what I do, and next week I am going to do exactly what I did to you at King of the Ring, and that is embarrass you and prove to the world that you are nothing but a fraud. Do you understand what I am saying to you right now????’Brody responds with a big boot that knocks Jericho to the mat! He scoops him up for the GTS, but Jericho rakes the eyes and slips off the back . . . LOW BLOW ON BRODY! Jericho grabs the UWF title . . . BELT SHOT TAKES OUT HUMPERDINK!!!! Jericho goes to hit Brody, but HBK tries to stop him . . . BELT SHOT LAYS OUT HBK!!!! Jericho measures Brody . . . NAILS HIM WITH THE BELT AS WELL!!!! Brody starts to get up, and Jericho slides outside and grabs a chair . . . WHAM!!!! Brody goes to the mat again, but stirs quickly. Jericho grabs a 2nd chair from the outside . . . ONE MAN CON-CHAIR-TO!!!! Jericho smiles, admiring his handi-work, but then stares in amazement as Brody starts to get up again!!!! Jericho smiles, then drops the chair . . . CODEBREAKER PUTS BRODY DOWN AGAIN!!!! This time he is not moving. Jericho holds up the UWF world title . . .
JOE ROGAN – ‘Jericho has taken out Bruiser Brody! Are we looking at the next UWF World Champion????’Jericho tosses the belt down on top of Brody and turns around . . . RIGHT INTO THE SWEET CHIN MUSIC!!!! HBK stands over Jericho, then starts dancing as his music starts to play. He picks up the UWF world title and looks at his reflection in it, primping his hair as he does so before laying it down on top of Brody again. HBK poses with the double bicep flex as the show goes off the air!!!!
