Live from the US Bank Arena in Cincinnati, Ohio . . . this is . . .

Shooting Stars Wrestling # 70 'Civil War' SSWlogo

SHOOTING . . . STARS . . . WRESTLING !!!!

The show opens up with the closing moments of SSW’s last TV show, where CM Punk retained his title in a Fatal Four-way match after pinning Ted Dibiase Jr.  Still shots from Battle of the Belts are also shown.

Opening promo airs to ‘FAR BEHIND’ by Lunatic Calm

The screen goes black, then the camera comes up on the rowdy crowd pumping their fists and chanting ‘S-S-W!  S-S-W!’  The camera concentrates on the massive Hell in the Cell structure handing above the ring as we go to Mike and Joe at ringside.  Tonight, the Hardy Cicil War explodes within the confines of the demonic structure hanging over their heads.   A lot has happened since they were on the air last, including new SSW tag team champions being crowned!  Joe talks about how the American Wolves won a 1 night tournament in Detroit to become the new champions, and they are scheduled to appear on the show tonight as well.

They are interrupted as the SSW Genesis champion CM Punk makes his way out to the ring.  Punk cuts a promo about how everyone is trying to get his attention lately, and they are doing it by jumping him from behind.  He mentions Kurt Angle, MVP, Rhino, and Ted Dibiase Jr.  People like Chris Jericho and John Cena talk a big game, but he is waiting for someone to actually stand up and be a man and challenge him face to face.  This brings out John Cena to a huge pop!!!!

Cena comes out and stands face to face with Punk, then takes a mic.  Cena says that he and Punk have a history, and he is out there to give him his wish. He challenges him to a match for the SSW title.  Punk smirks and then talks about all the stuff he and Cena have been through in the past, including Punk taking an F-U off the top of a cage through a table.  Their war put SSW on the map!  But Cena is not a worthy challenger for him.  Cena tells Punk that he wanted some, now Cena is here so come get some!  It looks like Cena and Punk might be ready to go at it, but out comes Shane McMahon and an army of security that separates the 2 men.

We get a video package for tonight’s ‘Hell in the Cell’ match between the Hardy brothers.  The package shows highlights of this feud, as well as comments from each man on how dangerous this match is going to be.  Matt says that his crusade to bring his brother back has ended, and now he is just out to stop Jeff at all costs.  Jeff talks about how he has become the outcast, and everyone does not realize that he is doing what he is doing to set everyone free from rules and limitations.  Too bad his brother has to be a casualty.

Commercial Break

IN THE BACK: We see Paul E. Dangerously with an upset MVP.  MVP accuses Kurt Angle of screwing up his chances to be the SSW champion.  And in turn, that screwed up the incentives in his contract.  MVP says playing with his money is like playing with his emotions.  Dangerously tries to calm him down by telling him he got him a title shot next week, and he will challenge Chris Jericho for the TV title.  Dangerously picks this time to ask MVP about their ‘good faith’ arrangement, and he asks MVP to sign him on full time.  MVP is not happy, saying that he should be getting a shot at the Genesis title instead of the TV title.  He is tired of Dangerously messing up his career and as of now he is on his own!

Match 1: singles match

Ted Dibiase Jr.
Vs.
‘The Black Pope’ Elijah Burke

Dibiase comes out making excuses for not winning the title on the last show, and says that he is still the ‘Greatest Man that Ever Lived’.  The Pope comes out to a huge pop and cuts Dibiase off, talking about how he has delusions of grandeur and that he needs enlightenment just like all of his ‘congregation’ that is in attendance tonight.  Allow the Black Pope to enlighten you.  Dibiase attacks at the bell, ripping off the Pope’s jacket and stomping him down.  Elijah fights back, dropping down and hitting Dibiase with the ‘4-up’ punch that gets a big pop from the crowd.  Burke goes for the ‘Outer Limitz’ elbow in the corner, but Dibiase gets a knee up into the ribs of Burke then goes to work with an abdominal stretch.  Burke fights back, getting a boot up in the corner as Dibiase charges and then hits an exploder suplex into the corner!!!!  Burke sets for the express, but Dibiase hits a back elbow.  Dibiase goes for the Dream Street, but Burke reverses out and scoops him up for the gutbuster but Dibiase rakes the eyes.  The ref is out of position, and Dibiase kicks Burke low and then hits the Million Dollar Leg Sweep to get the 3 count!

Commercial Break

Back from break, the camera catches a shot of UFC Heavyweight Champion BROCK LESNAR sitting in the front row!

IN THE BACK: John Morrison is with Kelly Kelly, and he cuts a promo on Chris Jericho.  He is interrupted by none other than PRINCE NANA!  NANA says that this TV time should belong to him and the crown jewel of his ‘Embassy’, the pride of Ghana West Africa . . . Kofi Nahaje Kingston!  Kofi steps into view, dressed in African Royalty attire, and Morrison has a hard time taking him seriously.  Morrison tries to talk but keeps getting cracked up.  Nana is insulted and says that he can think of nothing better than seeing his crown jewel make his debut with a victory over Morrison later tonight!!!!

Back inside, out come the new SSW tag team champions the American Wolves, Davey Richards and Eddie Edwards.  As they come out we get still shots from the tag title tournament that took place in Detroit, including their victory over the injured Steiner Brothers in the tournament final.  Richards talks about how the Wolves are the new champions, but as far as they are concerned they didn’t beat the champs for the belts.  They don’t want any kind of belt handed to them, so they want a shot to face the former title holders to see who really is the best.  They call out Nigel McGuiness and Bryan Danielson.  Instead, they get Saturn & Kronus, the Eliminators!  Saturn issues a challenge for the Wolves to put their titles on the line against them!  Edwards accepts the challenge . . . just not tonight.  Saturn says that they went to Shane McMahon and got themselves a match for tonight, and they want the Wolves to take a long look at what is in their future.

Match 2: Tag Team Match

The Eliminators (Saturn & Kronus)
vs.
The Havana Pitbulls (Rocky Romero & Ricky Reyes)

This is a very competitive back and forth match, and the Wolves hang out at ringside to watch the action.  The Pitbulls try to work on Kronus, but he eventually breaks free and makes the hot tag to Saturn.  Saturn hits the ring and suplexes the hell out of everyone, then hits the Death Valley Driver on Reyes but Romero breaks it up.  All four men are in now, but Saturn takes Romero to the floor.  Saturn and Kronus hit the ‘Total Elimination’ on Reyes for the pinfall.

After the match the Wolves stand on the ramp and taunt the Eliminators with the tag belts while the Eliminators stare them down.

Commercial Break

We get promos from both Matt and Jeff Hardy about tonight’s big Hell in the Cell match.  After the promos we see Kelly Kelly in the back with Tyler Black, and she asks him exactly whose side he is on in tonight’s main event.  Black says that he is on his own side from now on, and that’s all he has to say.  He walks off, leaving Kelly standing there.

Match 3: singles match

Kofi Nahaje Kingston w/ Prince Nana
Vs.
John Morrison

Nana and Kingston come out with a lot of pomp and circumstance, and Nana actually makes the time keeper get down on all fours so Kingston can step on his back to get into the ring.  The match gets underway and includes a lot of quick action at the onset, with both men hitting lightning arm drags and hip tosses.  Kingston bails out and talks with Nana, then Nana distracts Morrison allowing Kofi to get in a cheap shot.  Kofi takes over, but Morrison stops his offense with a running STO backbreaker followed by a Russian leg sweep.  Morrison goes for the Morrison Starship too early, and Kofi rolls out of the way!  On top of the ramp, the cameras catch TV champion Chris Jericho, who has come out to watch the action.  Morrison is back up in the corner and Kofi gets a running start and leaps onto Morrison’s shoulders and then starts raining down right hands.  Morrison blocks him and turns it into a sit-out power bomb and both men are down!  Morrison is back up and hits some forearms, but Kofi dodges the ‘flying chuck’.  Kofi hits the ‘Ghana-rhea’ (leg hook rolling fireman carry slam), then hits the ropes and drops the ‘Boom Boom’ double leg drop to the chest of Morrison.  Kofi measures him for the ‘Trouble in Paradise’, but Morrison ducks and hits the ‘Flying Chuck’!  Nana gets on the apron to distract the ref as Morrison goes for the Morrison Starship.  Jericho takes this as his opportunity to strike, hitting Morrison in the head with the TV title in mid-move!!!!  Kofi crawls over and makes the cover, and the ref turns around to see this and makes the count for the 1 . . . 2 . . . 3!

Jericho walks away with a big smile on his face while Nana and Kofi celebrate Kofi’s debut win.  Morrison holds his head and stares down Jericho as he leaves.

The cell begins to lower into place as the battle between the Hardy Brothers is up next.

Commercial Break

Main Event: Hell in a Cell Match

Jeff Hardy
vs.
Matt Hardy

Matt makes his way out first, but Jeff appears out of nowhere to attack his brother in the isle.  The brothers fight their way down to the ring, where Matt is able to slingshot Jeff into the cage.  Matt takes a chair and smashes it over Jeff’s head, and he is bleeding already!!!!  The crowd is going nuts as Matt tosses Jeff into the ring, but Jeff cuts him off with a basement dropkick to the head.  The refs are trying to pad lock the door, but Jeff tosses Matt into it and sends him crashing through.  Both men are outside the cage again, and Jeff puts Matt’s head in the cage door and slams it shut!!!!  Now Matt is bleeding!  Jeff tosses Matt in now, and they finally get the door shut and locked.  Jeff beats the hell out of Matt, and looks ready to finish him off with the Swanton but Matt gets the knees up to Jeff’s back.  Jeff rolls to the apron,  but Matt spears Jeff through the middle rope right into the side of the cage!!!!  HOLY SHIT!!!!  Matt grabs a chair and sets it up, then gives Jeff the Side Effect onto the chair!!!!  Matt measures Jeff and goes for the Twist of Fate, but Jeff shoves Matt off right into the ref, sending him flying to the outside!  Matt turns around and Jeff kicks him right between the legs!!!!  Both men are down, and out of the back runs Tyler Black!  He tries to get the key from the ref outside of the cage, and when he won’t give it to him he decks him with a right hand and takes it anyway.  Tyler opens the cage door and hits the ring . . . THEN LAYS OUT MATT WITH THE GOD’S LAST GIFT!!!!  Tyler pulls Jeff up and offers Matt to him, and Jeff sees that Tyler is trying to redeem himself . . . BUT THEN HE TURNS AND ATTACKS TYLER!!!!  Jeff and Tyler fight as Matt revives, and Matt grabs the chair.

Matt raises the chair . . . THEN WAFFLES TYLER WITH IT!!!!  Matt and Jeff stare at each other, then Matt wipes the blood off his face and shows it to Jeff.  Jeff wipes the blood off his face as well, symbolizing that blood is thicker than water.  Both Hardyz start beating the hell out of Black!!!!  The ref has lost all control in this one.  Tyler is beaten down, then Matt lays him out with the Twist of Fate.  Jeff goes up top for the Swanton when suddenly the lights go out!!!!!  When they come back on, standing over the fallen Tyler Black is . . . . .

CHRISTOPHER DANIELS!!!!

Daniels stares down Matt and Jeff, and they slowly back away with a shocked look on their faces as the show goes off the air.
