We are in New Jersey as MLW has come to the campus of Rutgers University at the JERSEY MIKE’s ARENA and the crowd is standing-room-only ….

MAURO RENALLO and PAT MCAFEE are your announcers, and they welcome the viewing audience and set up the show ….



Mauro and Pat talk about tonight’s main event, which is no in doubt due to an injury suffered by Jimmy Uso during Guerrilla Warfare …. It’s time for MLW’s first show of 2024 …. DAY ONE!


The show kicks off with ‘ELEVATED’ by It Lives, It Breathes hits and UWF Junior Heavyweight &amp; MLW Openweight champion Will Ospreay makes his return to MLW!  


The last time he was on MLW television he suffered 4 Samoan Spikes at the hands of Solo Sikoa that put him out of action …. Ospreay returned at Glory and successfully defended the UWF Junior title against Finn Bálor, but this is his first time back in MLW ….

Ospreay cuts a promo about how, unlike Roman Reigns, he showed up at Glory and represented MLW …. Between the 2 of them, Ospreay is the only one that is STILL a world champion …. And where is Roman now?  His own brother turned his back on Reigns, and the Bloodline is broken …. He is going to be the one that puts the final nail in their coffin …. Ospreay is fired up and says things are far beyond respect and peace, so instead of aiming for peace, Ospreay is going to aim for right between their eyes ….

*** BACKSTAGE ***

We see the Bloodline walking through the hallways but Solo stops at a monitor that is playing a live feed of the TV show and he hears Ospreay’s comments …. Solo immediately is furious …. He has heard enough and he storms out and heads for the ring, but Jimmy &amp; Jey try to stop him …. Jey says they have bigger things to worry about tonight, and the Bloodline NEEDS this …. Solo ignores him and heads to the ring!!!! ….</p></center>


Back in the arena, Solo Sikoa’s music hits!  Solo emerges from the entrance and stalks toward the ring, but before he gets there an army of producers runs out to block his path to the ring …. The USOs are even out there trying to hold their brother back, but Solo is so enraged that he breaks free!  He rushes the ring but Ospreay meets him with a dive to the floor! …. From here the fight is on between Solo and Ospreay, with producers getting knocked aside in the melee …. Tons more security come out and it takes all of them to keep the two men apart ….

(Champion) MANDY ROSE w/ Toxic Attraction

SASHA BANKS w/ Bayley

Banks dumps Rose to the floor to start …. Mandy runs from her, but as they roll back in the ring Banks hits a Thesz Press with some rights …. Rose comes back with a back elbow to knock down Banks and yanks her down by the hair …. Banks tries to battle back but eats a hotshot for 2 …. Banks fires up with an armdrag and then a running cross body and a dropkick …. Mandy in the ropes and Banks hits the running knee to the face in the ropes!  She goes up top and hits the meteora but barely avoids the 3 by reaching out and touching the bottom rope!  Rose rolls to the floor and Toxic Attraction check on her, but here is Bayley to fight off Dolin and Jaylen!  Banks fires up and comes charging with a suicide dive, but Mandy sees her coming and moves out of the way just in time and Banks just takes out Bayley, Jayne and Dolin instead!  Mandy takes advantage, shoving Banks face-first into the ring steps!  She rolls her back in and hits Kissed by a Rose (V Trigger) to the face!  1 … 2 … 3! …. Rose retains!</p></center>





Back in the arena, Kenny Omega’s music hits!  The fans pop as Omega makes his way out and says he’s cleared …. He wants his match with Angle, and from the sound of it so do the fans! ….

Bomaye’s music hits and here come Angle, Gulak and the Creeds …. Angle laughs …. He’s glad Omega is back because he looks forward to putting him back on the shelf with the rest of his amateur gymnastics team …. This isn’t a Renaissance fair, this is wrestling and he’s the best wrestler in the world and won’t stand for people like Omega and the Elite in HIS business …. As far as Omega calling him out, this isn’t how things work …. Bomaye is about the BIG fights on the BIG stage …. Omega had the big match lined up, but his body let him down …. His buddy Hangman Page took his place under the Guillotine and Angle tapped him out and put him on the shelf just like he did Kenny ….

But Bomaye lives to fight and fights to live, and they just signed a fighter that is looking for his first match in MLW …. So if Kenny wants a match tonight, he can fight the newest Bomaye Club signing …. ‘The Walking Weapon’ Josh Alexander! ….

Swerve comes out accompanied by a man that is familiar to many people, it’s Prince Nana …. Nana is dancing to Swerves entrance music, which Swerve recorded himself …



Swerve has a mic ….

SWERVE: “Understand something, Swerves time is very valuable.  As far as I’m concerned, time is money and ever since Swerve has been in MLW, I haven’t really gotten the opportunities that a lot of people around here are getting.  Now, Donald Trump runs this place right?  And they tell me Donald Trump is a smart business man.  He built an Empire.  But I look around and I see some of these cats making big money and getting plenty of chances to show what they got.  Well, Swerve don’t wait.  That’s why I got my man here ….”

Swerve gestures to Prince Nana, who does a little Swerve dance ….



SWERVE: “So my man Nana is here to look after Swerves business interests, whether that be in the ring or in the recording studio.  Because you know Swerve is always making moves.  Swerve is a difference maker, and I ain’t sitting on the bench.  I’m a guy that’s worth every zero in that contract, because when Swerve is making money, everyone’s making money.  And I know Donald Trump likes money.  So Swerve is gonna do you the courtesy of letting you know …. this ain’t your house no more.  Because MLW is Swerves house …. WHOSE HOUSE?!?!”

The crowd chants in unison ‘SWERVES HOUSE!’  

An far as the match goes, it’s an athletic contest with 2 guys that can really move around in the ring …. Ali hits a one man Spanish Fly off the top for a near all, but Swerve comes back and knocks Ali off the top followed by a Swerve Stomp.  Swerve hits the House Call to finish Ali and get the 3 count ….

Omega gets a huge reaction in his return to MLW …. Lots of chain wrestling to start us off as we get go-behinds and arm wringers …. Shoulder block takedown by Omega but Alexander comes back with a back elbow …. Kenny with a huricanrana to take Alexander to the floor, and the crowd starts up the terminator clap as Omega hits the dive to the floor!  Omega sends Alexander to the barricade but Alexander comes back with a clothesline …. Alexander takes over, grounding Omega and working on the ankle …. Omega comes back with a suplex attempt takes both men over the top all the way to the floor!  They fight on the apron, leading to Omega hitting a snap dragon on the apron!  Alexander gets Omega in the ankle lock, but Kenny rolls forward sending Alexander into the buckles …. Powerbomb followed by a knee strike gets Omega a 2 count!  Omega gets the ‘You Can’t Escape’ sequence (rolling fireman carry slam + asai moonsault) but Alexander gets the knees up!  Rolling elbow by Alexander and he goes for the C4 spike but Omega scoops him up in another rolling foreman carry!  V Trigger!  Alexander is in the ropes …. Another V Trigger!  Omega scoops him up and hits the One Winged Angel!  1 … 2 … 3!

POST MATCH: The Creeds hit the ring at the orders of Gulak, but here come Hangman Page and the Young Bucks!  Bomaye hit the bricks and bail out, while the Elite are reunited and stand tall with Omega ….

OWEN HART w/ The British Bulldogs

Jeys frustration is evident early as he attacks Owen …. Owen sent to the floor and Jey wipes him out with a dive, but the Bulldogs don’t get involved …. Owen comes back with a spinning heel kick and a gut wrench suplex, then grounds Jey with a chin lock …. Jey fights back with an enziguri and goes up top, but Owen stops him and goes for a superplex but Jey fights him off and hits a tornado DDT for 2!  Back to their feet and they exchange strikes, but Owen with a flying clothesline …. To the top and Owen hits a missile dropkick for a 2 count on Jey …. Owen goes for the Sharpshooter, but Jey counters into a rollup for 2, then hits a superkick as they pop back up to their feet!  Owen in the corner and Jey hits the running hip attack!  Jey goes up top for the splash, but Owen is back up, so Jey flies over him and lands on his feet …. He charges but Owen scoops him up for the tombstone!  Jey slips off … SPEAR!  1 … 2 … Nooooo!  Jey goes back up for the splash, but again Owen is up …. Jey jumps off again, but this time Owen catches his legs on the way down!  He gets the sharpshooter!!!!  Jey claws toward the ropes, but Owen pulls him back to the center of the ring!

THE LIGHTS GO OUT!!!!  

When they come back on, standing behind the Bulldogs on the floor is ….



The House of Black are here!!!!  Brody King and Buddy Murphy are standing behind the Bulldogs!  Julia Hart is in the ring face to face with Owen, who still has Jey in the Sharpshooter!!!!  BLACK MIST TO THE FACE OF OWEN!!!!  



The ref calls for the bell!….</p></center>

King and Murphy lay out the Bulldogs as Malakai Black watches …. Murphy sends Davey Boy into the steps, while King almost takes Dynamites head off with a discus lariat …. Murphy with the Curb Stomp to Davey on the floor!  Then Black and King hit Dante’s Inferno on DK on the floor!  The House of Black enters the ring and surrounds Owen, who is trying frantically to wipe the black mist out of his eyes as Julia smiles …. He gains his sight for perhaps a split second, BEFORE BLACK NEARLY TAKES HIS HEAD OFF WITH BLACK MASS!  

Black sits down and cradles Owen Harts head in his lap …. He says he is going to impart a very important lesson to Owen, so when he wakes up he needs to listen well …. No many is ever truly good, but no man is ever truly evil …. Black is trying to help him, but will you ignore the teachings?  Or will you fade to black?  He tells Owen that he will come to thank him, because ‘The House always wins’

The show closes with the House of Black standing tall in the ring ….

FROM DAW: WINTER WARFARE

We start off our show with the sound of "Come As You Are" by Nirvana hitting and a shot of Raven standing up in one of the balconies that's been dubbed "Raven's Nest". Raven strikes his signature pose. From one hand hangs the DAW Survival of the Fittest Championship. From the other... THE UWF WORLD HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPIONSHIP! Behind him are Jon Moxley, Kanyon, and seemingly the newest member of The Conspiracy, Matt Anoa'i. The group makes their way down to the ring. Raven grabs a mic

Raven says that people have called him many things in life. A dirt bag, a sadist, a narcissist, etc. He then says there's one thing nobody can ever call him, though, and that's a liar. Because Raven has once again done exactly what he said he would. He defeated Roman Reigns for the UWF World Heavyweight Championship!

Kanyon leans into the mic and begins to add that ever since Raven put Roman down for the count. Nobody has even seen the supposed "Tribal Chief." Kanyon laughs and tries to high five Jon Moxley. Moxley does not respond to it.

Raven smirks. He says that he left Roman Reigns not only a broken man physically but mentally as well. He says he showed the world what sort of a "Tribal Chief" Roman Reigns really was. Before he can elaborate...


Speak of the devil! ROMAN REIGNS IS HERE! He is seething as he marches his way down to the ring! Kanyon and Moxley quickly exit the ring and block the path of Reigns. Reigns is ready to fight, but Raven tells Moxley and Kanyon to stand down. Raven takes a seat in the corner of the ring and throws the microphone to the other side of the ring. He gestures to tell Roman to enter the ring and say what's on his mind.


Roman stares Raven down for a moment and enters the ring. He grabs the mic, and Raven starts to say something, but Roman Reigns cuts him off. He tells Raven to shut the hell up. He says he didn't come here to talk to him, he came here to get his brother and take him home. Kanyon hands Raven another microphone. Raven tells Roman that he isn't forcing anyone to be here. Matt Anoa'i is, as is each member of The Conspiracy, his own man. In fact, he's one of the only men who can call himself truly free. Raven tries to twist this into a monlogue about him being a better leader, but Roman cuts him off again, saying that he's only going to say it one more time. Shut. The. Hell. Up.

Roman tells him that if he wants to go for round two, they can do it right now, but one way or another, he's taking his brother home! Raven tells him to go then. Roman tells Matt Anao'i that it's time he returns to his spot at the table. Roman exits the ring. Matt looks to Raven, and Raven tells him the choice is his. He sulks and leaves the ring following. Roman turns around and smirks at Raven. This was his proof that he was still "Tribal Chief".

Suddenly, Matt Anao'i attacks Roman Reign from behind! He throws him into the guardrail, and then Moxley and Kanyon join in on the beatdown. Moxley then pats Matt on the back and says it's time he gets some revenge. Moxley drags a table out from under the ring and sets it up. Moxley and Kanyon drag Roman onto the table and hold him in place as they tell Matt to go up top. Matt climbs to the top rope. He looks at Raven and then strikes Raven's pose before diving off the top rope to the outside and putting Roman through the table with a Samoan splash!
