We see a limo driving through the streets of Hong Kong.  It pulls into an underground parking garage and the door opens and Xia Li and BOA step out …. Xia looks terrified and unsure, but she follows Boa up to an ancient-looking door with a Dragon above it and Chinese inscribed on it …. As they approach, the Chinese writing on the door begins to glow red …. Xia Li backs away afraid, but Boa grabs her arm to stop her …. Boa says ‘She’s coming’ …. Suddenly they both have bags thrown over their heads and everything goes dark ….

It’s standing room only inside the temple and the fans are RABID …. Pyro erupts from the ringposts and above the entranceway …. As the pyro explodes, the camera focuses on the MLW flag flying above the arena before panning the crowd …. We hear the voices of MAURO RENALLO and PAT McAFEE welcoming us to the show …. They put over Killer Kross vs. Shane Taylor for the MLW title in the main event, as well as the beginning of the Openweight tournament …. That will kick off tonights show as we go up to the ring ….

WILL OSPREAY

ANGEL GARZA w/ Alberto Del Rio

Hotly athletic contest between these two, including Ospreay defying gravity like he always does …. Garza plays to the crowd early on, ripping off his breakaway pants and distracting himself with the female audience at ringside …. Garza then takes control of the match, but Ospreay battles back with an Os-cutter out of nowhere for a double down …. We launch into a finish that includes both guys hitting signature moves for only 2 counts before Ospreay gets the win with the Stormbreaker ….

The Forgotten Sons confront Trump and Jaxson Ryker says Trump owes him.  He brought them in to do his dirty work but then he denies them the opportunities he promised.  Trump says he is all about opportunities.  He gives more opportunities than anyone.  Trump says the Openweight tournament is full, but he will give Ryker a chance to knock someone out of the tournament and take their spot …. NEXT!

This match sees interference from BOTH the Stampede Bulldogs and the Forgotten Sons, but in the chaos Ryker is able to hit the Black Hole Slam on Pillman Jr. and get the pinfall! …. Ryker takes Pillman’s spot in the Openweight tournament….

Trump comes out and congratulates Ryker on winning the match and earning the spot in the tournament …. However, his first round match is happening … RIGHT NOW.  SAMOA JOE’s MUSIC HITS!  Joe is Rykers opponent!

Killer Kross and Scarlett cut a promo ….

SCARLETT: “Fame … Everyone longs for it’s warm glow, stretching out for something just out of their reach.  But it is also blinding, and dwindles and fades quickly.  Eventually everyone’s time in the sun ends …. The Final Hour comes ….”

KROSS – “People want to ask me: ‘How do you prepare for a man like Shane Taylor?’  Well, to them I say this: the answer is quite simple.  I don’t have to prepare for anyone, THEY have to prepare for me.  There are only 2 types of people that want to get in the ring with me, and those are ‘the foolish’ and ‘the ambitious’.  Now, we all know MVP is ‘the ambitious’, parlaying events in his favor in order to cast himself in the most positive light.  But that would make Shane Taylor ‘the foolish’.  Shane, you’re hungry and even I can see that.  You are hungry for that time in the spotlight, your ’15 minutes of fame’ as they say.  But you have let your hunger and your willingness to listen to the wrong people put you in a place you don’t want to be.  You see there is a reason why ‘the experienced’ are smart enough to stay away.  They know a ‘killer’ when they see one.  You may be a big guy, you may be strong.  But nothing in your experiences in life can prepare you for someone like me.  Someone that hits HARDER than life.  Tonight, you get your time in the sun, only to be consumed by it’s fire.  Because no matter when the time is tolled … everyone … EVERYONE pays the toll.”

SCARLETT – “Fall and Pray”


Up next, Candice LeRae comes out to the ring and calls out Valifornia …. She shows highlights of Candice making Deonna Purazzo tap out while the ref was down in their match last week …. Candice says that this ‘housewife cosplaying as a wrestler’ embarrassed the so-called Virtuosa and she should be champion right now …. She wants a rematch with Purazzo …. Of course this brings out Deonna Purazzo, Chelsea Green and Raquel Gonzalez along with SoCal Val.  

]PURAZZO – “Really?  Really Candice?  Will you just please go away?  I don’t have time to indulge your weekend warrior housewife mentality.  I’m not focused on you, I’m not focused on the ‘Wicked Withces of the Trailer Park’ in EGA or those Instagram clout chasers in MWA.  Those teams aren’t even on our level.  All we are worried about is the July 4th All Star show.  Because that is when I’m gonna make ‘little miss Bliss’ tap out and then I will secure my shot at the UWF world title.”

CANDICE – “Like I made you tap out last week?”

]PURAZZO – “Enough of this.  You are an annoyance and a distraction, so I’ll tell you what.  Anyone in that locker room is more worthy of a title match than you.  Valifornia is all about business and I am a business-woman.  So I have a business offer for anyone back there who can here me.  If they will Please, PLEASE remove you from my life I will gladly give them the opportunity they so badly want, and that is a shot at MY Diamonds title ….”

Candice starts to respond, but Tay Conti’s music hits and she comes out ….  She is going to try her luck against Candice in hopes of getting a title shot ….

Conti controls with striking, but Candice fights from underneath to fit her underdog character …. The action goes back and forth, seeing Candice reverse the Tay-KO into a code red for a near-fall …. Candice gets a victory roll out of the corner to pin Conti in a match where both women look impressive ….

POST MATCH: Purazzo is even more disgusted that Conti doesn’t get the job done …. She orders Raquel Gonzalez into the ring and Gonzalez lays BOTH Conti and Candice out with the one-armed powerbomb …. Valifornia take their leave ….


VIGNETTE –

We get a black screen then suddenly goes light as the hoods are ripped off Xia Li and Boa …. They are tied to chairs in an unknown warehouse …. A Chinese man in a black suit and sunglasses paces back and forth in front of them, and we see a set of glowing red eyes watching them from the shadows …. The man stops in front of Xia Li and lifts his hand like he is going to strike her but from the shadows a deep voice bellows “ENOUGH!”  The man in the suit bows and backs away as a mysterious, hooded and cloaked figure emerges ….





When Xia Li sees the figure she immediately starts struggling to free herself while BOA lowers his head and begs for forgiveness …. The same deep voice says “IT’S TIME.” and as the figure turns away from them suddenly the bonds tying them to the chair mysteriously release …. Xia and BOA fall out of the chairs to land at the cloaked figure’s feet …. Xia grabs a knife laying nearby and wields it as a weapon against the cloaked figure, who remains unmoving …. BOA, meanwhile, is still on his knees with his arm extended and head lowered.  Xia yells in Chinese for Boa to get up …. Boa just keeps repeating the words ‘TIAN SHA’ …. Xia collapses and drops to her knees, dropping the knife on the floor and sobbing …. The cloaked figure walks over to her, and Xia surrenders, holding up her arm and allowing it to be ‘marked’ …. The hooded figure blows smoke in her face and the segment ends ….

Neither guy is well-liked so the crowd so they are split on who they want to cheer against …. Both guys try to out-heel the other one to get the win, but Uhaa is able to score a quick roll up with a handful of tights to score the upset over Roode ….

We get a promo from MVP and his new group …. Bianca BelAir is with MVP now …. MVP puts BelAir over first, calling her the best ‘pure athlete’ in womens wrestling and it isn’t even close …. BelAir is an All-American and All-SEC track-and-field performer, power-lifter and CrossFit competitor …. She dominates everything she touches …. MVP watched her get disrespected and pushed down the card but now he is here to put a stop to all of that …. She was listening to the wrong people, mainly all the ‘flatscans’ in the audience ….  He is going to make her a global brand …. A strong black woman is what the world wants right now, and Gina Carano is just another person trying to hold her down …. BelAir says she is going to break Carano next week …. MVP says him, BelAir and Shane Taylor are about to own this company ….

MVP then puts over Shane Taylor, saying he took out Lashley last week, and now all he has to do is focus on Kross …. MVP says he promised Taylor all of this and he delivered on his promise …. MVP is hyping Taylor up and says tonight he is going to become the new MLW champion ….


PROMO –

We get a promo hyping the Great American Bash on July 21st.  An announcement is forthcoming concerning the location of the show, but the musical guest is announced as IMAGINE DRAGONS ….

MATT RIDDLE
vs.
SHINSUKE NAKAMURA

Due to Riddle’s MMA background and Nakamura’s experience in Japanese strong style, these two base their match more around striking and they beat the piss out of each other …. Riddle controls with the striking and takes it to the mat and works submissions that Nakamura has to use the ropes to escape …. Riddle with chops, but Nakamura starts to no-sell and fires up with strikes of his own …. Riddle hits the Bro 2 Sleep, but Nakamura kicks out at 1 and fires up as the match dangerously approaches the time limit …. Nakamura connects with the reverse exploder, then does his theatrical setup for the Kinshasaa but Riddle pops up and explodes out of nowhere with the Final Flash bicycle knee!  Riddle scoops Nakamura up and hits 2 consecutive Bro-Dereks and that is enough to put Nakamura down ….

Up next we get an in-ring segment from War Machine (Rowe &amp; Hanson).  Rowe cuts a promo and says they beat The North and La Faccion Ingobernable last week and they want a shot at the MLW tag titles …. Where are Johnny Gargano &amp; Tomasso Ciampa hiding?  This brings out Johnny Gargano and he is all full of piss and vinegar …. He says that he doesn’t hide from anyone because he is ‘Mr. MLW’ and Johnny Freakin Wrestling …. Johnny takes offense to War Machine calling him out, and says of course they want a title shot because everyone else does too …. the more he cuts the promo on him the more animated he becomes and he gets right in their face …. Johnny is unhinged and is poking the bear even though he is out there by himself …. This ends with War Machine having had enough and they lay Johnny out with the Thor’s Hammer …. Johnny is left laying to end the segment ….

This match is like 2 semi-trucks colliding, with neither man wanting to sell the others offense and then just beating the hell out of each other …. Taylor takes control for a moment but Kross won’t stay down long …. Kross battles back and shows his power by hitting a belly to belly on Taylor …. MVP gets involved, allowing Taylor to hit the package piledriver for a close 2 …. We get a ref bump and, with Kross down, out of the crowd comes Bobby Lashley!  LASHLEY CUTS TAYLOR IN HALF WITH A SPEAR!  Taylor stumbles back to his feet, and by now Kross is back on his feet and he drops Taylor on his head with the Doomsday Clock!  Kross lines up Taylor, then drills him in the back of the head with the Final Hour!  Kross covers and gets the 3 count to retain the title ….

POST MATCH:  Kross lays the title down in the middle of the ring and invites Lashley in for a staredown …. Lashley and Kross get nose to nose, but Taylor is back up and attacks Lashley!!!!  Lashley and Taylor brawl wildly into the crowd and then all the way to the back, leaving Kross alone in the ring as he just watches …. CHRIS JERICHO IS HERE!!!!  Jericho slides in from the other side of the ring with a chair, and Jericho is dressed as the ‘Painmaker’!  WHAM!  He blasts Kross across the back with the chair, but it only drops Kross to one knee!  Kross rises, and Jericho nails him again!  CODEBREAKER!  Kross is down, but not for long as he quickly starts to stir.  Jericho picks up the MLW title and drills Kross with it, this time knocking him all the way out of the ring!!!!  Jericho holds up the MLW title and declares his intentions before tossing the title down to Kross!  Jericho stands tall with the fans cheering for him …. The ‘Painmaker’ is here!!!!  ‘JUDAS’ plays and the fans are actually chanting along to the lyrics as the show fades to black ….





* * * * * EPILOGUE * * * * *

We continue to chronicle the journey of Boa and Xia Li …. We see the scene has shifted to XIA LI and BOA undergoing an intense training session of some kind, with the Chinese man in the suit and sunglasses shouting orders in Chinese as Xia and Boa keep submerging themselves in a water tank …. The mystery woman seen earlier looks on from her chair …. Xia begins crying, but continues to dunk herself into the water and come up gasping for air, only to be told “AGAIN!” …. This continues for both of them until finally the mystery woman lifts her hand, signaling for the activity to stop ….

We then cut to Xia Li and Boa standing before the mystery woman, dressed in white robes.  They bow to her, and the Chinese man speaks to them in Chinese and the subtitles read “Who do you serve!?!”  Boa says ‘Tian Sha’ but Xia hesitates.  When she does, they are both suddenly blasted in the back with shots from kendo sticks out of nowhere!  They fall to their knees, wincing in pain …. The figure tells them to stand again, and he asks the question again.  This time they both shout ‘TIAN SHA!’ but when they do they are still nailed in the back with the kendo sticks and knocked to their knees …. Xia Li and Boa look at each other like ‘what have we got ourselves in to’ and that ends the segment ….
