It’s standing room only inside the temple and the fans are RABID …. Pyro erupts from the ringposts and above the entranceway …. As the pyro explodes, the camera focuses on the MLW flag flying above the arena before panning the crowd …. We hear the voices of MAURO RENALLO and PAT McAFEE welcoming us to the show ….

The show starts with Bobby Lashley coming out to the ring for a promo …. He talks about Shane Taylor and how impressive he is, but says he had to target Lashley in order to get himself to that next level …. Lashley says he never needed MVP, he just kept him around and that was his mistake …. Taylor is making that mistake too, because at the Bash he is going to pay for MVP’s mistakes ….

This brings out Shane Taylor along with MVP …. Taylor is laughing because Lashley just doesn’t get it …. He calls Lashley an Uncle Tom and a sellout, because he is the one that really represents their people …. It’s not about Shane Taylor the man, it’s about the brand and when he beats Lashley his brand is gonna be at an all-time high …. Solid talking segment to open the show from both guys here ….

Charly is with Bobby Roode, who is now joined by The North …. The North helped Roode beat Will Ospreay last week and now if Roode beats Angel Garza he could possibly win the Block …. Roode says in the Temple it is ‘kill or be killed’ and they are going to watch each others backs because they are all fellow Canadians …. Roode vows to be the first Openweight Champion at the Bash ….….

IN RING SEGMENT –

Johnny Gargano comes out and addresses his recent issues with War Machine …. Tomasso Ciampa comes out and says that he isn’t strong enough and he needs the ‘real’ Johnny Gargano to fight War Machine …. His ‘best friend’ Johnny Gargano …. Johnny says they are not friends, not partners, they are business associates for the time being because they are champs …. Ciampa ruined his life and he HATES him …. Ciampa says ‘good’ and tells him to use that hate …. He will never be rid of Ciampa, titles or not …. Ciampa says that Johnny will always need him because he brings out the ‘real’ Johnny Gargano ….

Looks like the champs might go at it but War Machine interrupt …. The Temple wants to see them put the belts on the line …. Gargano is pissed at this point and accepts the challenge, but Ciampa tries to stop him …. Instead knocks Ciampa on his ass, but turns around and walks right into Thor’s Hammer!  Ciampa slithers out of the ring with both titles and backs away as War Machine stands tall over Gargano ….

Tyson Kidd wipes out Ryker with a dive, but Davey Boy gets double-teamed by Blake &amp; Cutler in the ring …. Kidd rejoins the fight, but Ryker hits him with the Bossman slam allowing Cutler to pin him for the 3 count to win the match ….</p></center>

POST MATCH: The Forgotten Sons wreck everyone, leaving all 3 members of the Hart Dynasty laying ….


VIGNETTE –

We get this week’s Xia Li/ BOA vignette ….

This montage shows a devastated Xia
being forced to beat the shit out of her brother BOA with repeated kicks and punches, bloodying his face …. There is a shot of the mysterious hooded figure again, watching
the events transpire from the shadows …. Xia looks way more focused and aggressive in this video ….

We cut to another scene of BOA this time punishing Xia with kendo stick shots to the back …. Xia’s face is emotionless as she yells for him to hit her again …. We see the marks on her back and Boa raises the kendo stick to strike her again as the vignette ends ….


It is announced that it will be the Hart Dynasty vs. Forgotten Sons in a 6 man elimination match at the Great American Bash

This is for all the marbles in Block B, and these two really bring it as you think they would, with tons of submission and striking …. At one point Joe headbutts Riddle above the eye, busting him open …. Riddle fires back with a final flash knee strike that busts Joe’s nose open …. Both guys chop the other so hard that there chests are black and blue by the time it’s over …. Joe hits a Muscle Buster but Riddle counters the pin into the Bro-mission and nearly gets the tap out!  Joe fires back with a burning lariat that turns Riddle into a flip, then 2 consecutive Muscle Busters …. after that Riddle is easy prey for the Coquina Clutch and Riddle fades …. The ref raises the arm once, twice, three times and it’s over!

IN THE CATACOMBS – Bianca BelAir comes out and talks trash to Becky Lynch for getting in her business last week …. Becky comes out and says did Bianca think she was just gonna talk that shit and she wouldn’t come out?  Becky says it sounds like Bianca wants to fight and that’s good because Becky does too ….. so let’s fight!

MVP steps in and says he isn’t a fool.  His client doesn’t just fight at any moment, she fights when it is the most advantageous to her brand …. She will fight on the big stage when the most eyeballs will be on her …. That’s how he showcases his clients …. So if Becky wants a fight she can have one, but it will be at the Bash ….

There is a lot riding in this match …. Uhaa wins Block A if he wins, but Ospreay can force a ridiculous 3 way tie with a win …. Roode is out watching intently as Ospreay and Uhaa clash in a mix of great high-flying athleticism and good mat work …. Ospreay hits cheeky nandos Superkick but misses the 630, allowing Uhaa to plant him with the Chariot (spinning blue Thunder bomb) …. But that only gets a 2 count!!!!  Uhaa with the gorilla press, but Ospreay is out of the way of the standing moonsault!  Hidden Blade connects!  Ospreay picks him up for the Stormbreaker, but Uhaa kicks out!!!!  Ospreay fires up, pulls off the elbow pad and finishes Uhaa with a 2nd Hidden Blade for the 3 count!  Ospreay has done it!

POST MATCH: Roode is ecstatic that there is now a 3 way tie for 1st place …. he responds by attacking BOTH men and laying them out with the Glorious DDT …. DONALD TRUMP comes out and addresses the Temple and says this is unprecedented, and he knows a lot about things that are unprecedented …. But there must be a winner …. He tells all 3 guys to keep their gear on, because in the main event it is going to be Ospreay vs. Roode vs. Uhaa and the winner will go on to the Bash!!!!


VIGNETTE –

The final vignette for Xia Li and Boa airs ….

This time we see both of them dressed in white robes on their knees before the hooded figure …. The hooded figure touches their faces, drawing lines down their face with the black ink and then blowing smoke in their faces …. A voice says they have been hardened, they have been forged, and now they are ready to serve the Tian Sha …. The mystery person then opens a curtain to reveal a bright light …. Li and Boa stand and follow her into the light as the Chinese symbol flashes on the screen saying ‘JULY 28’ ….

Very nice and competitive debut for both teams in the Temple, but Team Kick goes over here with a double team enziguri from Kai + Shiniest Wizard from Nox for the pin on Hogan ….</p></center>


Deonna Purazzo comes out and cuts a promo about how furious she is that Alexa Bliss lost the world title and robbed her of the shot that she earned …. We all knew Bliss was an unworthy champion, but even Purazzo was surprised just HOW unworthy she was …. She always said Bliss owed her for allowing her title reign to happen, but she took it all away when she made Bliss tap and made her arm look like a spaghetti noodle ….

Deonna says it doesn’t matter because whether it is Bliss or Asuka the result at the bash is going to be the same …. Because you don’t become to Virtuosa without being able to adapt and come up with a plan and that plan will be fool proof …. At the bash, she will have all the women’s gold in the UWF ….

We get a fast start right out of the gate, with Ospreay striking on both guys …. Roode is tossed to the floor and Ospreay wipes him out with a dive, but when he comes back in he is taken out by a clothesline from Uhaa .... Uhaa presses Ospreay and tosses him onto Roode, but Ospreay adjusts in mid-air into a head scissors on Roode!  Ospreay fires up and dumps Uhaa, but Roode makes it back in to nail Ospreay from behind …. cheeky nandos superkick to Roode, but Uhaa hits a urinage on Ospreay on the ring apron!  Uhaa with a standing moonsault to Ospreay but Roode breaks it up …. Roode with the Glorious DDT on Uhaa, but he rolls out of the ring to avoid the pin …. Roode goes for the move on Ospreay instead, but Ospreay counters into a jumping knee strike followed by the Hidden Blade for a 2 count!!!!  Ospreay goes for Stormbreaker, but Uhaa breaks it up and tosses Ospreay …. Uhaa goes on to drill Roode with the Chariot, but Ospreay flies off the top with the 630 splash to break it up!  Roode is easy prey for Ospreay now, as he hits the Stormbreaker for the 1 … 2 … 3 as Uhaa is late breaking up the pin!

Ospreay is exhausted in the ring as Samoa Joe’s music hits!!!!  Joe comes out and gets in the ring with Ospreay for a stare down to end the show, as these two will meet in the finals to determine the first Openweight champion!!!!
