It’s standing room only inside the temple and the fans are RABID …. Pyro erupts from the ringposts and above the entranceway …. As the pyro explodes, the camera focuses on the MLW flag flying above the arena before panning the crowd …. We hear the voices of MAURO RENALLO and PAT McAFEE welcoming us to the show …. They talk about Samoa Joe becoming the first Openweight champion, and he is here tonight to make his first title defense …. In the main event we will see Becky Lynch vs. Bianca BelAir in a rematch from the Bash …. We saw Jay White’s shocking debut at the Bash as he took out Chris Jericho, and we are scheduled to hear from White tonight ….


The show starts off with an in-ring segment featuring Shane Taylor and MVP …. Taylor comes out dressed in a nice suit accompanied by ring rats …. MVP says that Taylor gets the finest things and the most beautiful women …. He hates to say ‘I told you so’, but he told the whole world that Shane Taylor was the next big thing …. And he proved it when he beat Lashley at the Great American Bash ….

Bobby Lashley comes out and congratulates Taylor but says he and MVP know Taylor will always have that doubt because he didn’t beat him fair …. Lashley wants a rematch but Taylor says ‘No’ …. Lashley figured he would say that so he attacks Taylor and they brawl …. Lashley gets the better of the exchange and spears Taylor through the stage …. Both guys do the stretcher job, but Lashley rolls off the stretcher and attacks Taylor again …. MVP is yelling at Lashley, but Lashley turns and attacks MVP and chokes him out with the Hurt Lock …. Security and refs come out to pull Lashley off ….

XIA LI w/ Mei Ying &amp; Boa
vs.
TAYNARA CONTI

The story here is Xia Li is avenging her earlier losses in MLW in order to regain her honor …. Boa and Mei Ying remain on the stage with Ying seated on her throne …. The announcers talk about how Xia Li asked for this match because she was shamed for losing to Conti after her MLW debut …. Xia goes on the attack with strikes and Conti really has no counter for them as she is on the defensive.  Xia hits a bicycle knee followed by a Trouble in Paradise kick out of nowhere that KO’s Conti …. The ref calls the match ….</p></center>

POST MATCH: Trainers are tending to Taynara Conti when suddenly Deonna Purazzo appears and comes stomping to the ring …. Deonna enters the ring as Conti is getting to her feet, and she attacks her and locks the Venus De Milo!!!! The trainers and refs can’t pull Purazzo off, but she eventually lets go …. Purazzo storms out ….  


BACKSTAGE –

Purazzo cuts an unhinged promo about what happened to her at the Bash …. Gone is her elegant ‘Virtuosa’ look and Purazzo looks more like a hot mess here …. She cuts a promo and vows revenge on Alexa Bliss for costing her BOTH world titles at the Bash, and says that the MLW womens divison is going to pay the price for Alexa’s sins ….

ANGEL GARZA w/ Alberto Del Rio

Garza looks good early on, but Del Rio’s interference backfires and allows Joe to take control …. Joe hits a Muscle Buster and then chokes Garza out with the Coquina Clutch ….</p></center>


POST MATCH: Charly Caruso joins Joe in the ring …. Here we find out about the ‘Lucky 7’ stipulation for the title, where the Openweight champion can challenge the MLW champion after 7 successful title defenses …. Joe says that right now he is focused on making the Openweight title the most important MLW title …. Not only is he going to bring prestige to the title, he is going to bring pain and violence and if someone wants a shot then step up ….



BACKSTAGE –

Will Ospreay talks about coming up short at the Bash and says Joe is the real deal …. Ospreay is going to be watching the Joe vs. Nakamura match …. Bobby Roode interrupts and says that Ospreay couldn’t get the job done because he didn’t even belong in that match …. Roode says ‘You’re good kid, but just because you can do a fancy flip or two, doesn’t make you GLORIOUS’ …. Ospreay challenges him, but Roode says they will do it next week so the match can be promoted for a week and get the most eyeballs to the product …. The North end up jumping Ospreay and laying him out …. So tonight we will get Ospreay vs. Josh Alexander ….


Up next, Johnny Gargano comes out to the ring and cuts a promo about the finish of the tag title match against War Machine at the Great American Bash …. Gargano says they are still champions, but doesn’t like that they kept the belts that way …. Tomasso Ciampa might be ok with it, but that is NOT who Johnny Gargano is …. He wants War Machine to come out to the ring ….

Instead, Tomasso Ciampa makes his way out …. Ciampa calls Johnny weak and why is he apologizing …. They are the champions!  He will do whatever he has to do to STAY champions, and that is the difference between him and Johnny.  Ciampa is strong, and he makes Johnny Gargano strong …. Without Tomasso Ciampa, there is NO Johnny Gargano!  

Before the two can start fighting, the Viking horn sounds, bringing out War Machine!  Hanson and Rowe give zero fucks and they storm the ring and go right after the champs …. Johnny doesn’t look like he wants to fight but has to defend himself and all 4 men are brawling now …. Gargano ends up saving Ciampa from Thor’s Hammer, and Gargano &amp; Ciampa turn the tide …. They set Rowe up and take him out with the ‘Meet in the Middle’ (knee strike + superkick) …. Ciampa grabs a chair and smashes Hanson, then hands another chair to Johnny …. Ciampa is yelling at him to hit Hanson, but Johnny hesitates …. Ciampa keeps yelling and finally Johnny succumbs to the pressure and he and Ciampa hit a Con-Chair-to on Hanson!  Johnny is immediately disgusted by his actions and throws the chair down, while Ciampa smiles at him and leaves the ring …. War Machine are left laying ….

‘Walking Weapon’ JOSH ALEXANDER w/ Ethan Page &amp; Bobby Roode

This is a kick ass match that shows that Alexander can really go as a singles guy …. Of course there is interference from both Roode and Page, but Ospreay takes Roode out with the Hidden Blade …. Ospreay hits the 630 on Alexander, but Page enters the ring and breaks up the pin, resulting in the DQ finish ….</p></center>

POST MATCH: Ospreay is triple teamed and gets set up for the Northern Assault from Page and Alexander …. Shinsuke Nakamura comes out and makes the save for Ospreay

We get a video package for Matt Riddle …. Riddle makes his return to MLW next week after not being seen since the Openweight title tournament ….

vs.
BIANCA BELAIR

No MVP out with BelAir due to being attacked by Lashley earlier tonight …. BelAir is more than capable on her own and the match goes back and forth …. There is a ref bump and BelAir hits the KOD but there is no ref …. This allows Becky to recover and get the ‘Disarm-Her’ on BelAir, but BelAir escapes to the ropes even though she tapped out while the ref was down …. Becky hits the ‘Finish-Her’ (curb stomp) but BelAir rolls to the floor …. Becky goes after her and they brawl, ending with Becky locking the Disarm-Her on BelAir on the announce table!  The ref starts the count, but Becky ignores the count to continue to keep BelAir in the hold on the announce table …. Both ladies are counted out!</p></center>


POST MATCH: Becky won’t release the hold, but Deonna Purazzo makes another appearance and attacks Becky with a chair!  BelAir gets up but Purazzo takes her out too!  She locks Becky in the Venus De Milo in the ring, but Gina Carano comes out of the back and makes the save …. Gina brawls with Purazzo, but Purazzo gets the better of the exchange and takes Gina out with a chair shot as well!  Purazzo walks out, but Xia Li appears again and confronts Purazzo on the ramp!  They have a staredown, but Xia walks past Purazzo and enters the ring …. As Carano gets back to her feet, Xia Li KO’s Gina with Black Mass kick!  It is total chaos in the ring!


ANNOUNCEMENT: DONALD TRUMP announces the rematch between LASHLEY and TAYLOR will happen in 2 weeks …. Next week’s main event will be Gargano &amp; Ciampa defending the tag team titles against War Machine ….


We are running out of time as the final segment of the show is set up, and out comes ‘Switchblade’ Jay White!  White  cuts a promo about his debut at the Great American Bash …. Why did he attack Chris Jericho?  It’s simple: Jericho wasn’t even the target …. His target is MLW champion Killer Kross, and he claims that Kross owes him because it was White that brought Kross into wrestling in the first place …. White name-drops Bullet Club, saying that he and Kross should reform the stable and then dominate the entire UWF …. All Kross has to do is ‘Breathe with the Switchblade’ ….

However, to everyone’s surprise, this doesn’t bring out Killer Kross OR Chris Jericho …. Instead, out comes Adam Cole to confront White!


 


COLE: “I’ve sat in the back and I’ve heard just about enough.  It’s funny that you come out here and mention Bullet Club.  Do you know who I am?  By God, Adam Cole IS BULLET CLUB!  You were in Bullet Club for a cup of coffee, but now you want to walk in the doors of MLW, throw around that name and thinks that it makes you special …. You attack Chris Jericho at the Great American Bash and think that means people are going to treat you like your special?  Well, I tell you what, you want to talk about ‘special’?  Who is ready for a little story time with Adam Cole Bay Bay?  Let’s talk about ‘special’.  EVERYTHING I DO IS SPECIAL!  349 days as Junior champion! …. 510 days as world champion!  …. Daniel Bryan may be the current darling of the UWF, but right now Daniel Bryan is walking on the path that was paved by ADAM COLE!  Daniel Bryan is trying to fill MY shoes!  It was Adam Cole who was the FIRST man to hold a world title in 2 weight classes!  I’m not just some guy on the roster, I’m a once in a lifetime superstar.  And I’ll be DAMNED if I sit back there for another second while someone like you, ‘Mr. Switchblade’ comes out here expecting to be treated as if they are ‘special’!”

‘JUDAS’ by Fozzy hits and out comes Chris Jericho!!!!  Jericho goes right after Jay White!  White and Jericho brawl, but White gets the upper hand.  He sets Jericho up for the Blade Runner, BUT GETS TAKEN OUT WITH A SUPERKICK FROM COLE!  


Cole stands tall and does the ‘ADAM COLE BAY BAY!’ as the crowd chants along …. BUT COLE TURNS AROUND RIGHT INTO THE JUDAS EFFECT FROM JERICHO!  


Jericho stands tall now as Judas plays again, and this time the fans singing along to the chorus ….

THE LIGHTS GO OUT!  

KILLER KROSS’ MUSIC HITS!!!!  


Kross and Scarlett appear on the ramp, and Kross starts to slowly walk toward the ring …. Fans, we are out of time!  The show ends with Kross heading to the ring to face Jericho, who stands alone in the ring!!!!
