Match 1 The Andersons vs Magnum TA & Dr . Death Steve Williams : Magnum and Doc tag well together , but it ends when Arn hits a Gordbuster on Magnum for the 3 .

The Moondogs vs The American Putbulls ( Dinsmore and Gibson ) : Dinsmore and Gibson win with a variant of the Hot Shot on Rex for the 3 .

El Hijo de Santo and El Santo vs The Wild Samoans : Afa and Sika destroy their opponents. Santo takes a Samon Drop from Sika . The Samoans win .

The Heavenly Bodies vs The Hardys : Good back and forth match . Jeff hits a Swanton on Marty for 3 .

Texas Television Title Kerry Von Erich vs Kabuki : Kerry wins with a Small Package . Post match Lord Humongus and The Exalted One beat the hell out of Kabuki . Kerry comes back with a chair . The two leave the ring . Kabuki mist Kerry .

Andersons vs American Pitbulls : Ole and Arn are not there to play nice . Dinsmore gets caught in the corner and they work over his arm . He submits . The Andersons are in the finals .

The Wild Samoans vs The Hardys : Afa and Sika get DQ’d after hitting Jeff in the head with a chair , busting him open .

Bill Watts comes out and says Jeff will wrestle despite the head injury.

Midsouth Heavyweight Title Bob Backund vs Bam Bam Bigelow : Backlund wins with a Bridging German Suplex !!!

Texas Television Tag Titles The Andersons vs The Hardys : Bad idea for Jeff to enter the match with a wound . The Andersons are like sharks . Jeff passes out due to blood loss . The Texas Television Tag Team Champions Ole and Arn Anderson .

Good opener to the tournament..... i had a feeling the Andersons might take this one, but the makeshift team of Doc and TA put up a good fight

Dinsmore and Gibson.....i havent decided yet.....interesting pairing or a odd combination

Ive always been a Samoans fan, so glad to see them advance

Can the Hardys find new life here

Ole and Arn have to be the favorites to win this now

Especially after that Samoan ass whupping to the Hardys......no way can the Hardys hang with the Andersons when their not at 100 percent
