America’s Cup Night 2 : The Target Center St . Paul Minnesota

Michael Hayes vs Steve Austin : Hayes tries to muck things up . Austin thought just as nasty . After 12 minutes of straight up ugly brawling , Austin hits the Stunner to advance .

Jerry Lawler vs Hangman Page : This is another brawl . Page hits a Bulldog for 2 . Late in the match , he hits the Buckshot , but Lawler falls backward out of the ring . Page goes out to roll his man back in , but Lawler rams Page’s head into the ring post busting him open . Lawler rolls in and wins by count out . Page is a bit distraught at first , then realizes what is at stake winning this thing . He and Lawler shake hands .

Antonio Inoki vs Eddie Gilbert : Gilbert rakes the eyes and then hits a shoulder breaker . He works Inoki’s left arm . Gilbert goes for the Stun Gun , but Inoki reverses with a short arm clothesline and then hits the Yakuza Kick for 3 .

Nick Bockwinkle vs Randy Orton : Bockwinkle for over 8 minutes punishes Orton . He puts him in the sleeper , but Orton is able to get to the ropes ! RKO OUT OF NOWHERE!!! 1……..2……..3 !!! Orton moves on .

Superstar Billy Graham vs Curt Hennig : Brawler vs wrestler here . Early on Graham’s power comes into play . Hennig though fights through it . He hits a side Russian Leg Sweep . From there he goes for the Perfect Plex , Graham blocks it and takes Hennig’s head off with a clothesline !!! Graham gets the win with a 3 count .

Chris Jericho vs Jimmy Snuka : A great match . Snuka with a headbutt and then a Superkick . He goes up for the Superfly Splash , but Chris moves . Chris hits the Lionsault , but only a 2 count . Snuka puts on the Mandible Claw . Jericho gets to the ropes , rakes the eyes off the break and then school boys Snuka for the 3 .

Brock Lesnar vs Stan Hansen : Somehow this ends up on the outside . Lesnar goes to F5 Hansen on the floor . Hansen gets out the back though and gets off a belly to back Suplex . He rolls Lesnar back and goes for the Lariat , but Lesnar moves and Hansen eats the Turnbuckles ! Lesnar with an F5 !! He covers and gets the 3 .

Buzz Sawyer vs David Schultz : This ain’t pretty . Both guys bloody each other . Schultz misses the big elbow from the top rope . Maddog Powerslam by Buzz for the 3 count !!

End Night 2 .

Austin and Hayes would be a fun match.....but the Stunner is the deciding factor

One little miscue by Hangman cost him against the crafty Lawler

Inoki and Suzuki are repping Japan very well in this so far

RKO Outta nowhere...... i have a feeling all these excellent finishers like the RKO, The Russian Sickle, the Stunner etc is gonna make it hard on a lot of peeps in this thing

Snuka has had a very rough go at it lately.....may be time to find a manager

Big win for Lesnar.....he joins the list of impressive victories in this tournament

Buzz wins a dogfight to advance

The first round was so damn tough..... i literally dont know who is winning this thing.

doesnt matter that the rock was afraid of AUSTIN, poor hayes was the one to pay the price!

helluva win for LAWLER and i kinda dig the respect between the two post match

GILBERT was a bit undersized and outmatched in this one

that was a big deal for orton to get outta that sleeper and was a helluva win for him

henning no match for the pythons of SBG

SNUKA'S losing ways continue as the former world junior champ shows everyone that he isnt gpoing anywhere!

brutal battle between these two big, onery dudes and brock is the one to capitalize and get the win!

no doubt that match was gonna be hard hittinbg and bloody! BUZZ squeaks out a damn touh win!


GREAT NIGHT 2 AND GREAT START TO THIS TOURNET AS BOTH NIGHTS KICKED ASS!
