Joel- Well...well...well. Cleveland, Ohio. Despite having the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, It is I, the man who is the top tourist attraction for females everywhere, and the man whose crotch is truely the happiest place on Earth. The man who makes Madonna's panties wet. And the man who just last night, helped Jessica Simpson fullfill her dream, as she took one for the team, and I made her squeal and scream as I filled her full of cream. *"Here Comes the Money" plays and Shane comes out. Joel goes to the back and Shane addresses the crowd. A "Shane-o-Mac" chant starts*
Shane- Thanks guys. First of all, from now on, when I'm out here, the only chant I want to hear is an SSW chant, because that's why we're here. Nopw, this isn't a shot at other promotions, but I think wrestling fans are ready for something different. Something new. Wrestling fans are ready for the next chapter, and that's what we're gonna bring. Starting tonight, we're going to have a four man tournament to crown the first SSW Champion. Two matches will take place here today and the winners will advance on to the finals. The final match will take place on the biggest stage of all: STARRCADE! We drew four names out of a hat to determine these four. Tonight you will see Owen Hart vs. ‘The Shooter’ Brent Albright and John Cena vs. the MVP himself, Montel Vontavious Porter. Also this week, we're gonna have some hot tag team action as the exciting team of Adrenaline, Chris Sabin and Michael Shane. In the coming weeks, we will be crowning tag team champions, so keep a sharp eye on our tag team division. Also in the coming weeks, I'll be making a major announcement about the singles division. Opening match:
Super Dragon weight: 200 lbs home town: Los Angeles, CA music: Seek and Destroy- Metallica finisher: Psycho Driver -vs- El Generico weight: 180 lbs hometwon: Tiajuana, Mexico music: bullfight music finisher: 450 Splash
All of Generico's offense does nothing but piss Dragon off. Dragon pushes Generico back into a corner and cuts loose with a Violence Party. Dragon picks Genericho up for the Supernaturall Driver. Genericho floats over and lands some punches. Dragon ducks the last punch and grabs Genericho up in a Psycho Driver and hits it for the win.
In the locker room, Joel Gertner tries to get a word with ‘The Shooter’ Brent Albright concerning tonight’s tournament match against Owen Hart. Albright says he does all his talking in the ring, but tonight they are finally going to find out who the better man is between he and Owen. All of a sudden, Harry Smith and Teddy Hart come in and interrupt the interview, and Teddy says he couldn’t help but overhear Albright talking trash about Owen Hart. Albright says that Owen doesn’t need them to fight his battles for him, but anytime they want to test themselves against a 7 time amateur freestyle champion, they can take a shot at the ‘Shooter’. He tells them to ‘Get out . . . or TAP OUT!’ Teddy and Harry back off and leave.

MVP Interview. He is in the back surrounded by his entourage, and he cuts a promo on how he is going to become the first SSW champion. He says that is why he has the big contract , and that is why he was SSW’s No. 1 draft pick, unlike that wannabe John Cena, who was out of a job and is trying to ride his coattails. He is taking SSW straight to the top because he is ‘half man, half amazing’! He cuts the interview short when he gets a call from his agent, and his bodyguards throw Joel out of the locker room as he is gawking at the women MVP has hanging around.
Tournament match # 1

‘The Shooter’ Brent Albright Weight: 230 lbs Hometown: Tulsa, Oklahoma Music: ‘Faint’ by Linkin Park Finisher: The Crowbar
These two have developed an intense rivalry in the short time SSW has been in existence, and they show each other respect by exchanging a hand shake to start the match. This one is a classic, and both men take it to the other from start to finish. Owen showcases his superior mat skills, frustrating the efforts of Albright by escaping both the ‘Crowbar’ and even the ‘Sharpshooter’. Late in the contest, Owen tries to slap the Sharpshooter on Albright but he kicks him off, causing a ref bump. Albright manages to trap Owen in the ‘Crowbar’, and Owen actually taps but there is no ref. Albright releases the hold and tries to revive the ref, when out of the back comes Harry Smith and Teddy Hart! Albright takes both of them out, tossing Teddy over the top rope with a belly to belly suplex, and then slapping the crowbar on Harry! Finally he lets go, but Owen has had time to recover and he rolls Albright up from behind. Owen bridges back for extra leverage, and is able to hold Albright down for the quick 3 count as the ref comes to!
Owen will advance to meet either MVP or John Cena at Starrcade to crown the first SSW champion, but it is clear that Owen is not happy about the way he won the match. Afterwards, Owen argues with Harry and Teddy at ringside and tells them that he doesn’t need their help. He could have won on his own! Teddy and Harry plead their case to Owen, but he just shoves them and flips them off before storming out!

Crowd is big time into this one, and Aaron ‘The Idol’ Stevens and Beth Phoenix even come out to watch. After several minutes of back and forth action, Mickie reverses a Christo attempt by Kim and drops her throat-first onto the top rope, then follows that up with a Stratus-faction bulldog for the 3 count!
John Cena does an interview about tonight’s tournament match against MVP. He doesn’t take anything away from MVP, but says that by this time next week he’ll be saying ‘The champ is here’!

In the match to determine who will face Owen Hart for the vacant SSW title, Cena and MVP bring their A games. Cena controls early on but misses a charge into the corner. MVP works on Cena's arm and shoulder. MVP does some Ballin' for a two count. MVP goes to the well again and misses. Cena comes back with a side suplex followed by a body slam. Cena does the "You Can't See Me" thing then hits the 5 Knuckle Shuffle. Cena stands up and calls for the FU! MVP floats over and lands a kick to the gut of Cena. MVP posityions Cena for the Playmaker! Cena drops down and pulls MVP's legs from under him. Cena grabs the STFU! MVP struggles but can't get to the ropes and taps.
Joel Gertner and a camera crew sneak into the ladies locker room to get a word with Mickie James. Joel’s eyes get wide as he catches Mickie in the shower, then tries to hand her a washcloth to dry off with. Mickie and the other women kick Joel out of the locker room.

Deuce & Domino cut a promo backstage with Cherry. They talk about how they are the top tag team in SSW, and anyone who says different is gonna get cracked in the mouth.
Tag team match

As the match begins, the camera catches a fan filming the match with a hand-held camera from the front row. Shane McMahon and some security come out. The guys in the match stop and take notice. The camera closes in and we see it is Alex Shelley! McMahon tells security to throw Alex out. Shelley waves to Adrenaline, telling Sabin to kicks some ass motor city style, and Shane looks at his partner and questions what is going on. Sabin just shrugs. The match continues going back and forth, with Sabin doing most of the ring work and not tagging in Shane. Finally, Sabin manages to hit the Cradle Shock on Jose to get the win for Adrenaline. After the match there seems to be a little tension between the tag team partners.
We see Aaron ‘The Idol’ Stevens hitting on Mickie James in the locker room. Just then Beth Phoenix storms into the locker room and goes nuts, asking what in the hell is going on. Idol tries to play innocent, saying that Mickie is the one coming on to him and saying she was all over him. Beth goes nuts and attacks Mickie, and Mickie fights back. We have a catfight that has to be broken up by security, but Idol just stands by, enjoying every minute of it.

It is time for our main event tonight, as RWA’S Jushin ‘Thunder’ Liger has traveled to SSW to defend the coveted NWA Light Heavyweight title against a man that is making his debut in SSW. He has wrestled all over the world, and is now one of the biggest free agent acquisitions in SSW, the ‘American Dragon’ Bryan Danielson!

‘American Dragon’ Bryan Danielson Weight: 185 lbs Hometown: Aberdeen, Washington Music: ‘The Final Countdown’ by Europe Finisher: Cattle Mutilation
This is an incredible match, and it consumes the entire 15 minutes of remaining TV time. The two men exchange various holds and reversals, with Danielson forced into the ropes to break the hold several times. Finally, Danielson manages to gain an advantage by pummeling Liger in the corner with a series of forearm shots, but Liger reverses a whip and nails Danielson with a monkey flip out of the corner. Liger turns up the heat, hitting a tope con hilo on Danielson as he tries to bail out of the ring to get a breather. Liger tosses him back in and tries to finish him with a brainbuster, but Dragon floats over and hits a German Suplex for a quick 2 count. Danielson turns it on now, and he lifts Liger up in an elevated surfboard position. Liger reaches out and grabs the ropes, and the ref reaches 4 before Danielson will break the hold. Danielson gets in the refs face and holds up 5 fingers, saying ‘I’ve got till 5!!!!’ Liger tries to fight back, hitting Dragon with some open hand strikes, but he misses a spinning heel kick off the ropes. Danielson scoops him up on his shoulders and goes into the dreaded Airplane Spin, but after about 10 revolutions Liger slips off the back and rolls Danielson into a quick sunset flip that he barely kicks out of! Liger goes back on the offensive, hitting the Crash Thunder Buster (Back suplex into wheelbarrow facebuster) for a 2 count. Liger goes up top for a moonsault, but Danielson cuts him off and hits a huge back supplex off the top rope! Both men are down, but Danielson is up first and he hooks Liger in the Cattle Mutilation! Liger is too close to the ropes and Danielson is forced to break, but he argues with the ref about it. This allows Liger to recover, and he catches Danielson with a kick to the gut and then nails the running Liger Bomb! Cover for the 1 . . . 2 . . . NOOOOO! Danielson barely kicks out! The match continues, but both men are totally exhausted! Liger gets a near-fall on Danielson after a tornado DDT, and Danielson likewise nearly wins the title after a Regal Plex on Liger yields the closest 2 count of the match! ‘This is awesome!’ chants break out in the audience as well as dueling ‘Let’s go Dragon!’ and ‘Let’s go Liger’ chants. Danielson scales the ropes again, but this time Liger catches him with a rolling wheel kick, crotching him on the top rope! Liger climbs to the top, hooking Danielson and driving him to the mat with a top rope brainbuster!!!! Liger slowly pulls himself up, climbing to the top rope above a motionless Danielson. He throws up the horns before soaring off with a breath-taking shooting star press right on top of Dragon! Liger remains draped across Danielson as the ref drops down and counts the 1 . . . 2 . . . 3!!!!
After the match, the fans give both men a standing ovation. Danielson and Liger shake hands, but also show respect for one another by bowing to each other.
Mike – What a match! We came close to having a new champion crowned right here tonight!
Joe – Unbelievalble! I thought for sure Danielson had Liger beat, but he showed why he has been champion for over a year! Liger is tough, no doubt about it. Wait a minute . . . what’s this?
We cut back to ringside, where we see that Super Dragon has come out to the ring and grabbed the Light Heavyweight title from the time keepers table. Dragon gets in the ring, looking at the title and at Liger, then he tosses the title at Liger’s feet very disprespectfully! Liger says something to Dragon, but then Dragon flips Liger off and points at the belt. Liger reaches down to pick up the title, but Dragon blasts him out of nowhere with a Yakuza kick!
Joe – What the hell is Super Dragon doing?
Mike – Liger has just been through a grueling 15 minute match against one of the best wrestlers in the world and now Super Dragon is trying to make a statement at the champions expense!
Dragon mocks Liger, and then picks him up and hits the Curb Stomp onto the Light Heavyweight title! The show ends, with Liger laid out in the ring and Super Dragon staring down at him.
