Sam Menekar: It’s Thursday Night and that means it’s time for wrestling here on AMC . Fans tonight , A woman’s tourney . The winner will face Dr. Britt Baker for the IWA World Television Title. Also tonight . The Hex are in action . As well as the New GFW Woman’s tag team champions . Elizabeth Savage will have The North American Heavyweight Champion Bob Backlund in the Summer Sizzler Control Center . The Pain Makers vs The Mulkeys : Yeah not much to tell here . Warrior and Gladiator win with Glorious Pain ( Warrior holds Bill in a back breaker , while Awesome comes off the top rope with a Frog Splash) .

Gladiator: Every time we have had a set back, we went out and proved that we are the best tag team . We didn’t win at Survivor Series , because we got screwed . That’s what happens though . We did show the world the Road Warriors ain’t so bad . They said we couldn’t beat the Samoan Wrecking Crew . Look where the belts are at !!! Now we move on .
Warrior : The might Black Wall Street. You are nothing but pebbles beneath Gladiator and Warrior’s feet . For I have seen the future and 10, 000 times we have failed , but 10,001 we have crushed your bones and ate the flesh . It’s time for us to come down from planet parts unknown and take what is ours by divine right the IWA World Tag Team Titles….. Gnnnnnaaaarrr !!!!

WWT match 3 : Wendi Richter vs Sherri Martel: Sherri is not playing nice . After several dirty tac tics , she puts on a Boston Crab . Wendi get to the ropes for the break . Wendi hits a DDT . Sherri gets her foot on the ropes . Throughout Sherri punishes Wendi and gets her to submit with a second Boston Crab.

Marti : That’s right because we own Tall and Sexy . They shouldn’t get a shot at our titles . We should get a shot at their’s

Elizabeth: Hello fans and welcome to the Summer Sizzler Control Center . We are just 3 weeks away from June 11th at Tiger Stadium. My guest this week is none other than North American Heavyweight Champion , Bob Backlund . Who has his sights set on a much bigger picture . Mr . Backlund.
Backlund : Thank you , Elizabeth. You know each month , I barely miss the rankings . I would have loved to been at Survivor Series , but I missed it . I would have loved to been in the Path Greatness Tourney, but I missed it . So where does that leave me ?
I could cry and complain , but a man controls his own destiny. This North American Heavyweight Title makes me the number one contender in this territory. Dusty Rhodes…….
Bill Goldberg burst into the control center.
Goldberg : Are you ducking me Backlund ??? I kicked your ass in Ottawa last week and left you laying . And you come in here and talk about Dusty Rhodes!!!! I want your belt and I’m going to take it . Or I’m going to see that you don’t make it to Summer Sizzler .
Backlund: You want to try ?? Ok tomorrow night in Quebec .
Goldberg : You got more guts than I thought . Here is something to think about .
Goldberg round kicks Backlund to the head and then power slams him in the floor . Liz checks on Backlund as we go to break .

Gail Kim vs Lacey Evans: This is a good clean scientific match . Gail hits a variety of Suplexes . Lacey uses a lot of strikes . Lacey misses Woman’s Right and Gail makes her pay with Eat Defeat .
Candice LeRae vs Tamina Snuka : LaRae controls the early going . Almost submits Tamina in the Gargano Lock , but Tamina powers out and hits a side slam . Tamina following a Bodyslam goes up for the Superfly Splash , Candice moves . She hits the Wicked Stepsister to get the 3 .
