Before the show officially gets started, Terry Taylor comes to the ring and challenges The Lucha Brothers to a tag team title match tonight. THis brings out Chris Adams, who once again acts reluctant to team with Taylor. Fenix comes out and say if they want a match......they got it in our Main Event later!
1. Samoa Joe vs Chris Candido:
Candidio does all he can against the biiger man, but tonight Joe is on a mission and makes short work of Candido with the Kokina Clutch. Joe grabs the mic and says while he might be on Bryan Danielsons team at Survivor Series....that doesnt make them friends. And he wants Danielson to show up this Monday at Nitro!
2. Tay Conti & Anna Jay vs The IInspiration:
Good back and forth match that goes near 15 minutes before the IInspiration hit Fall from Grace on Anna to get the win.
3. Iceman King Parsons vs Jimmy Garvin:
In a move no one expected, Garvin comes out solo for this match and it soon backfires on him as Parsons hits the Rump Bump to get the win over Garvin.
4. The Road Warriors vs The Wild Samoans:
Afa and Sika jump the Warriors before the bell and from there......the fight is on! This one gets ugly quick as both teams are out to prove their superiority and the Warriors do that by getting the win when the Warriors hit the Doomsday Device on Afa!
5. Rob Van Dam vs Ricochet:
Great high flying match that keeps the fans on the edge of their seats the entire match. Ricochet goes to put RVD away with the 630, but RVD moves out of the way, then RVD hits the 5 star splash to get the win.
6. The Lucha Brothers vs Chris Adams & Terry Taylor:
Huge contrast in styles to say the least. Adams is still reluctant to be in the match as Taylor tells him to just follow his lead. Adams and Taylor do not fare well against the style of the Lucha Bros, but Taylor gets them back in the match by being a little over aggressive. It turns out with all four men in the ring and Fenix looks to have Taylor on the ropes. But Taylor sends Fenix face first into the steel post. Adams superkicks Pentagon, 1......2........Taylor grabs Pentagons feet holding them down for added leverage........3!!!! Chris Adams and Terry Taylor are your new WCW Tag Team champions. The ref hands them the belts and Adams asks Taylor if he held the feet and Taylor just ignores it and celebrates.
glad you decided to pit them together....i thought about drafting Adams and putting him with Taylor in the NWA.
