Location: Rolla, Mo
The show opens up with WCW General Manager, Eric Bischoff, making his way to the ring. Bischoff says he booked tonight's Main Event to be Jerry "The King" Lawler challenging Ric Flair for the IWA World title.
The live audience pops loud, but Bischoff says that unfortunately that match won't take place here tonight as nobody has been able to contact Lawler since what transpired at Violence of the Lambs. But Bischoff says he has a replacement main event tonight as Steve Austin will defend the WCW title against........ Big Van Vader!
Before Bischoff can continue, Missy Hyatt leads Brian Christopher and "HotStuff" Eddie Gilbert to the ring. Christopher said it's no big secret where Jerry Lawler is..... he's hiding! Much like all of Christopher's life, Jerry Lawler, is nowhere to be seen. And that HotStuff International has ran Lawler out of pro wrestling for good. Bischoff says he's glad HotStuff International is out here. Because they have a match right now!!!!
Match One: Iceman King Parsons & Buck Zumhofe vs Hotstuff International:
Zumhofe and Iceman pit up a good fight with high flying offense until Missy gets on the ringapron and begins to unbutton her blouse to distract Zumhofe allowing Gilbert to drive a knee into his back then hitting the Hotshot to get the win.
"The Enforcer " Arn Anderson along with Tully Blanchard make their way to the ring. Arn reminds the audience that he has a Bunkhouse match Thanksgiving week against Bruno Sammartino. And even though he doesn't like having to come to Missouri. The fact of the matter is he here and he wants a warm up fight to help him prepare for Bruno. Much to Arn's surprise, out comes Cactus Jack and Daffney!
Cactus doesn't say a word and just goes after Arn as Daffney screams all around ringside, annoying the Hell out of Tully. It doesn't take long before the action spills outside the ring and all around the venue and since this is a Bunkhouse match, the ref let's them fight it out.
Cactus bodyslams Arn on the floor then him and Daffney look into each other's eyes and smile wildly at each other. Cactus climbs the ringapron and flies off for a flying elbow drop but Arn moves. Cactus stumbles up and Arn hits a spinebuster to Cactus on the arena floor, then covers Cactus to get the win. Arn and Tully take their leave as Daffney checks on Cactus. While she is doing that, out comes The IWA X Division champion, MJF, lead to the ring by Bobby Heenan.
MJF talks major shit on the crowd as he slowly walks to the ring. MJF says there is just simply no competition in the X Division anymore. A fan screams out Jungle Boys name and MJF says Jungle Boy is a joke and has better chances of winning a hula hoop contest in a cheerio than defeating MJF. Then MJF continues to shit on the X Division top 10 rankings saying Brian Cage should be suspended for obvious steroid abuse......that Brian Pillman should be arrested for impersonating a pro wrestler. And Ultimo Dragons use of chop sticks is a deliberate abuse of the IWA Rule book.
Then as MJF approaches the ring he sees Daffney still comforting Cactus on the floor. MJF makes fun of them for being freaks in love. And their presence makes him sick. But it is that time of year.....a time for giving. And if Cactus can pull his freaky ass off the floor, he will grant him a X Division Title shot right now. The ref calls for the bell and MJF instantly tells the ref to count Cactus out! As the ref reaches 7 in the count, Cactus stumbles up and rolls into the ring. MJF quickly grabs the arm Cactus missed the elbowdrop on earlier, and applies Salt of the Earth! Daffney screams even louder. Cactus won't quit though. After a few minutes, Cactus passes out from the pain and MJF successfully retains the IWA X Division title.
Match Four: Davey Boy Smith vs Tully Blanchard
Davey uses his power to keep Tully rocked all through this match. After a few minutes of this, Owen Hart makes his way to ringside. Davey tells Owen to stay out of his business. Davey continues to rock Tully until Tully throws Davey outside bear Owen. As Davey gets up he pushes Owen down. Tully drives a knee into Daveys midsection then goes to suplex Davey back in. Owen, still on the floor, reaches up to grab Daveys leg, but instead grabs Tullys foot as he lifts Davey up for the suplex. Davey falls on Tully as Owen holds Tullys foot as the ref counts three. Davey Boy is your winner as Tully argues with Owen at ringside before leaving Owen alone at ringside.
Match Five: Becky Lynch vs Britt Baker fir the IWA Womens World title
Britt comes to the ring with her fellow IInspiration members. It doesn't seem to faze Lynch in the early going as her focus is clearly on Baker. Lynch takes it to Baker and right when it looks like Lynch might make shirt work of Baker by putting her in the Dis-armher, Peyton Royce puts Bakets foot on the rope to force a break. But the ref seen it!! The ref demands Peyon and Billie Kay leave the ringside area.
The match continues for several more minutes after that with Becky just on fire and having the world champion reeling. Baker rakes the eyes to gain control. Late in the match Baker wants LockJaw on Lynch! She sets Lynch up for it, but Becky rolls through and applies Dis-armher! She has it locked and the bell rings! The fans go nuts as the ref talks with the ring announcer, who explains that the 30 minute time limit has expired. Therefore, still the IWA Womens World champion...... Dr. D.....M......D. Britt Baker!
Main Event: "Stone Cold" Steve Austin vs Big Van Vader w/Teddy Long for the WCW Heavyweight title
"Glass Breaks" plays and the Texas Rattlesnake marches to the ring and the fight is on! Austin is a house of fire! Austin stomps a mudhole in the corner then whips Vader in the ropes and Vader reverses, making Austin go for a sunset flip on Vader but Austin can't get him over. Instead Vader splashes his weight down on Austin for a two count. Now it's Vaders turn to assault Austin. It becomes clear to see that either man is after the victory.....they just want to fight. Vader has Austin in the corner now, peppering Austin with punches. The ref reprimand Vader but it's no use. Vader pushes the ref aside. The ref tries pulling Vader off again only for Austin to kick the ref in the midsection......STUNNER TO THE REF!! Austin and Vader resume their fight. Another ref comes out to try and stop the melee. Only to get pummeled by Vader......VADER POWERBOMBS THE REF!!! Eric Bischoff walks to the isle way and waves out the troops....... as security storm the ring and tries to break up the brawl. Security finally pull Vader out if the ring and set up a roadblock as Austin climbs the turnbuckles calling for a cold beer......then flipping VAder off! Bischoff orders Long to get Vader back to the dressing room as Austin continues to drink beers much to the pleasure of the fans to close out the show.
