Location: The Myriad, Oklahoma City, Ok
Before the show starts there are several scantily dressed women walking around the venue handing out fliers for The Inner Circles ppv coming up on August 1st, until WCW security escort them from the building. Match One; Pentagon Jr vs Eddie Guerrero The fans are solidly behind both men and are hyped for this matchup..... as they should be! They shake hands to start, then Pentagon puts his hand in Eddie's face saying "Ciero Miedo!" At around the 20 minute mark, Guerrero hits Three Amigos then climbs the turnbuckles for the frog splash, but Pentagon gets his knees up. Pentagon hits "Fear Factor" on Eddie to get the victory
Match Two: Ruby Riott vs Britt Baker Baker attacks Riott as she enters the ring before the bell. And to say that Baker is all business and more intense than normal is an understatement as she is still upset about losing to Asuka at the 1 year show, even though she never quit. Riott gets some offense in but Baker applies Lockjaw to get the submission victory. The cameras pick up Baker who tells Asuka shes waiting on her answer to her rematch challenge.
Match Three: Chris Benoit & Dean Malenko vs Arn Anderson & Tully Blanchard The fans are hyped for this one as this is a tag team clinic. Arn and Tully do everything they can to try and put Malenko away as they work him over in their corner but Benoit finally gets the hot tag. And the ref gets bumped in the process. Benoit puts Tully in the Crippler Crossface then out of nowhere, we hear the music of the NWO! Shawn Michael's leads Hall, Nash, and Xpac to ringside as HBK grabs the housemic.......
HBK: "Seems all wr hear about lately is Summer Sizzle tour this, and Summer Sizzler tour that! And anyone that knows us..... knows we are all about a good party. And as easily as we could jump in that ring right now and kick your asses..... that's just not how the NWO rolls! So what do ya say Benoit? Why dont you get your Radical boys together and face us on the hottest day of the Summer? The 4th of July!" As Benoit watches on, Arn runs in and drives a knee into Benoits back. Arn then hits a spinebuster then tags Tully, who hits a slingshot suplex on Benoit as Arn keeps Malenko at bay.
Intermission rolls around and Gene Okerlund comes out to hype all the Dates for the Summer Sizzler tour when out comes Tay Conti and Anna Jay......
Tay Conti: "Anna and myself have said it many times now.... we are tired of this glass ceiling around the IWA. If your name isnt Asuka..... Charlotte..... or Bayley and Sasha Banks.... the opportunity just isnt there. We say screw that..... we are the opportunity! And we make our own way. So Sasha..... Bayley.... keep underestimating us. Keep trying to hold us down. But come July 4th..... your travel bags might be a little lighter....because we plan on taking your titles!" Match Four: Jungle Boy vs Jeff Hardy This contest is part of WCW's open door policy. And Hardy and Jungle do not disappoint as they put on a fast paced contest with several near falls until mid match where both men crack heads. As the ref checks on them, out comes the IWA X Division champion, MJF! He sees the perfect opportunity and beats on both men and the ref calls for the bell. MJF piledriver Hardy and throws him out of the ring. Then MJF puts Jungle Boy in Salt of the Earth before several refs hit the ring to stop the carnage. MJF gets up and smirks at what he has accomplished before he leaves the ring to a loud chorus of boos.
Match Five: Steve Austin vs Cameron Grimes for the WCW Heavyweight title Austin storms the ring and just stomps a mud hole in Grimes as it's clear the Texas Rattlesnale is pissed off from being jumped by The Rock last night. After several minutes, Austin hits the Stunner on Grimes but wont cover him. Instead, Austin grabs Grimes and hits The Rock Bottom on Grimes to pin him in a sign of a big FU to the Rock from Austin!
Main Event: Hulk Hogan and PAC vs The Horsemen (Ric Flair & Owen Hart) The Hogan/Flair rivalry continues here again tonight as well as PAC continuing to be a thorn in Owen's side since his debut, where he pinned Owen in a tag match. It doesnt take long for the Horsemen to see they are outmatched tonight and all hell breaks loose as Arn and Tully hit the ring to help their Horsemen members. The Horsemen get Hogan down and Flair wants to break Hogans leg. Arn grabs a chair..... but before the damage can be done, Brian Cage charges from the back to save Hogan! The Horsemen are pissed as Cage and Hogan pose together in the ring to close up the show!
