We go to Mauro Renallo & Renee Young at ringside, who put over tonight’s show and recap the controversy of the Progress USA Bash show ....

MVP comes out to start off the show and he brings out the head official that refereed the match with Marty Scurll at the Bash .... MVP then promptly fires him for being the one that called for the bell when MVP tapped out!
MVP is interrupted as the Viking horn blows and War Machine comes out! Rowe says they are out here because they want a Progress tag team title shot .... MVP blows them off and says he’s still tired from his match at the Bash and denies their request .... This brings out the Briscoes to interrupt and they want another shot at War Machine .... Before MVP can even answer, both the Street Profits and The ONE% come in and they all want a shot too .... MVP says they can all fight over it in a ladder match and whoever brings down the contract can have a future Progress tag title match .... whenever he decides it ....
**** 1. Lacey Evans def. Reina Gonzalez with the Woman’s Right .... This is Lacey’s return match after being out since losing the Universal title, and she is actually cheered by the fans .... ****The camera shows a group of Progress performance center recruits seated ringside .... the camera focuses on them and we see it’s Jordan Myles, Jonah Rock, Arturo Ruas, Austin Theory, Angel Garza, and Mansoor .... Mauro and Renee talk about them briefly ....

Keith Lee promo backstage .... all he wants is an opportunity .... Bobby Lashley interrupts Lee and they get nose to nose .... Lashley says he is a prize fighter, but if Lee is looking for an opportunity then Lashley will make him famous .... Lee promises Lashley will ‘Bask In His Glory’ ....Matt Riddle comes out to issue an open challenge .... he goes out to ringside where the recruits are sitting and gives them the opportunity to accept .... Riddle points at Jonah Rock and challenges him to fight him ....
**** 2. Matt Riddle def. Jonah Rock by submission with the Bro-Mission .... this is a very competitive match and Rock has a good showing for himself .... Riddle shakes Rocks hand afterwards and leads the crowd in showing respect for his effort .... ****Up next, we get an appearance by the dual Universal & Internet Champion Shayna Baszler .... Mauro recaps how Baszler cashes in the automatic title shot that comes with holding the Internet title and defeated Toni Storm to become the dual champion .... Baszler says that she has been the most feared woman in the locker room since she stepped foot in this company .... She’s beaten Charlotte, Toni Storm, Rhea Ripley and everyone else .... she is a reality check for the entire women’s locker room in Progress and she is the most dominant female in wrestling .... Tessa Blanchard barely escaped with her life, much less the UWF women’s title, but Shayna says she will have that too .... the first step is making sure every woman in Progress knows her place ....
NIA JAX’S MUSIC HITS! Jax comes out and Shayna doesn’t move at all .... she and Nia have a staredown before she finally backs out and leaves the ring ....
**** 3. Nia Jax def. Deonna Purazzo .... This is a result of last shows attack by Jax .... Jax wins with the pop-up Samoan drop .... ****POST MATCH: Jax stares down Baszler again but this time Baszler drops the belt and gets back in the ring and gets face to face with her .... they are nose to nose, but then Shayna turns and attacks Purazzo, locking on the Kirafuda Clutch and choking her out! Baszler lets go and just stares down Jax again, who returns the favor ....

Bianca BelAir is watching this on a monitor backstage .... BelAir says she didn’t get pinned and she didn’t submit and she is still UN DA FEET TED! Shayna is walking around with her title and while she plays games with Nia Jax, BelAir is training and she is going to take the title because she is the EST ....**** 4. Bobby Lashley w/ Bill Alphonso def. Keith Lee .... this is a big hoss battle that sees Lee look impressive in matching and even over-powering Lashley at points .... Lee hits a spirit bomb for a close 2 count .... Lashley cuts off a Pounce attempt and hits a spear on Lee, then gets a full mount and rains down forearms and strikes .... Lee can’t defend himself and the ref steps in and stops the match .... ****POST MATCH: Lashley waits for Lee to get up and he hits another spear! Lashley locks on the anaconda vice and chokes Lee out ....

Charlotte interview and she talks about being relegated to the pre-show of the Great American Bash .... Charlotte says it was an insult and that it’s been over a year since she had her ‘crown’ .... Now it’s time for the Queen to sit back on the throne .... she doesn’t just want the Universal title, she wants THE WORLD .... That brings her to Tessa Blanchard .... they go way back, they broke into this business together .... and out of all the people who could have stolen her spot, it was Tessa .... now she is sitting on her throne, but the Queen is coming to take it back and there is nothing she can do about it because Diamonds are Forever, and so is Charlotte Flair .... United States Champion Johnny Gargano comes out along with his wife Candice LeRae .... Johnny says he went into the Bash the ultimate underdog but he defended his title against 3 other men and walked out the champion .... Johnny is interrupted by ‘The Machine’ Brian Cage! We get a reply of Cage wreaking havoc in the match, including taking out Gargano’s wife with a clothesline .... Cage gets face to face with Gargano, but Johnny won’t back down .... Cage is out there for one reason: he wants to challenge Gargano for the US title next week! Gargano says he isn’t afraid of Cage, and he accepts the challenge for next week ....
**** 5. War Machine (Rowe & Hanson) def. The ONE% (Kyle O’Reilley & Roderick Strong), the Briscoes (Jay & Mark) and the Street Profits (Montez Ford & Angelo Dawkins) in a ladder match to earn a future Progress tag team title shot .... Ford looks to have the contract won when he springboards from the apron to land on the ladder, but Rowe knocks him off with a big forearm and Hanson catches him on the way down and hits Thor’s Hammer! Rowe reaches up and pulls down the contract .... ****POST MATCH: MVP and King hit the ring and attack War Machine! MVP grabs a chair and wears out BOTH Rowe and Hanson, then he takes the mic .... he congratulates them on their win and and says he changed his mind and they can have their title match right NOW! He calls a ref out to the ring and the bell rings for this impromptu match!
**** 6. War Machine (Rowe & Hanson) def. Young Money (MVP & Kenny King) to win the Progress tag team titles .... MVP and King control due to the pre-match attack, but War Machine fights back .... there is a ref bump, and MVP and King hit the doomsday blockbuster on Rowe .... MVP assumes the role of the ref and is going to count the pin but AJ Styles comes out of the crowd and takes out MVP with the phenomenal Forearm!!!! He picks him up and nails the Styles Clash! King attacks but AJ takes him out with the Pele .... Rowe and Hanson recover and hit the Fallout on King for the 3 count to win the belts! ****
