We see how Kyle O’Reilley made his surprise return and teamed with Roderick Strong to win the Progress tag team titles from War Machine, and Shayna Baszler as the sole survivor of the USA vs UK women’s elimination match .... * * * * OPENING SEGMENT * * * *
Progress Atlas Champion AJ Styles comes out and addresses his win over Finn Balor at ALL IN .... He is interrupted by Austin Aries and the new Progress tag team champions Kyle O’Reilley & Roderick Strong .... Aries has he mic and he congratulates AJ and says now they have all the titles so their plan worked .... Aries says they are the Elite, but they are the elite of the elite .... he calls them ‘The One-percent of Wrestling’ ....
AJ shuts that down and says all the games need to stop .... he’s not with them and never will be .... He doesn’t need to be the ‘Top 1% of Wrestling, he just needs to be the ‘Phenomenal AJ Styles!’ AJ walks past Aries and goes to leave but O’Reilley and Strong Block his path .... AJ tells them to move, but they won’t and instead Aries attacks AJ from behind! .... AJ falls victim to a 3 on 1 beatdown!!!! WAR MACHINE IS HERE!!!! Hanson and Rowe hit the ring and go after the 1% but they run for it ....

We see the 1% (Strong, Aries & O’Reilley) making their hasty exit from the arena running from War Machine .... Kenny King stops them and asks them where they are going and says MVP sent him to let them know they War Machine is getting their rematch for the Progress tag team titles TONIGHT! .... King also holds up the tag title shot briefcase and tells them not to forget he has it .... Dumb move by King as THE ONE% jump him and beat him down .... Aries says they aren’t worried about King because he doesn’t even have anyone that wants to be his partner .... **** 1. The Rottweilers (Low Ki & Homicide) def. Danny Burch & Oney Lorcan with their Cop Killa + Double Stomp combination ****POST MATCH - The Rottweilers are upset about how they were passed up for a tag title shot and say they are still the most dangerous team in Progress .... they are going to destroy everyone in their way until they get their title shot ....

Jessie Elaban with a Lion-Sault ****Mauro Renallo & Renee are at ringside and make an announcement that Progress has signed former WCW women’s champion and MMA Star Paige VanZant .... **** MizTV w/ United States Champion Johnny Gargano ****Johnny Gargano calls out Tomasso Ciampa .... he can’t believe what Ciampa did to him .... he called him out on Social Media but Ciampa is hiding under a rock in London .... Miz talks trash to Gargano, saying that it’s his fault that Team US lost .... and on top of that he lost his best friend .... he’s not ‘Johnny Wrestling’, he’s ‘Johnny FAILURE’ .... Miz says he was only eliminated because he got kicked in the balls, but when it came time for someone to have balls in the match, Johnny was the guy that didn’t have any ....
At this point, Miz has gotten under Garganos skin and whipped him into a frenzy .... Gargano wants to fight someone, and he wants to fight Miz .... Miz declines and says he is in a $10,000 suit and not dressed to wrestle .... Gargano says if Miz won’t fight, there is someone in that locker room that will .... Gargano says the next person that comes out here gets to fight for the US title because he’s issuing an open challenge! Everyone’s attention turns to the ramp .... DEAN FUCKING AMBROSE’S MUSIC HITS!!!! Holy Shit! Ambrose returns to a MONSTER pop and stalks to the ring .... he slides in, and Gargano is ready to fight .... Instead Ambrose kicks Miz in the gut .... DIRTY DEEDS LAYS OUT MIZ! Ambrose turns and walks out, leaving Gargano standing there ....

*** BACKSTAGE *** Johnny Gargano is backstage .... He doesn’t know what all that was about with Dean Ambrose showing up, but he still wants to fight .... he’s NOT ‘Johnny Failure’! This all goes back to what Tomasso Ciampa did to him at ALL IN, and if Ciampa won’t talk to him, then he’s going to confront Ciampa face to face! ....
Ricochet interrupts .... he heard Garganos challenge and he wants another US title shot because he got screwed the first time .... Dolph Ziggler cuts them off and says Ricochet already had a shot handed to him and he couldn’t get the job done .... Now it’s HIS turn because this is HIS show .... It has nothing to do with briefcases, and everything to do with talent ... and when it comes to talent, he’s so good that he just goes out there and shows off .... Ricochet and Ziggler jaw, but MVP is there to get between them .... he says we will settle it in the ring and books the Ricochet/Ziggler rematch with the winner facing Johnny Gargano next week....**** 3. The Lucha Sisters (Mia Yim & Leva Bates) def. The EST (Naomi & Bianca BelAir) to retain their Shimmer tag team titles .... A vignette airs hyping the arrival of Bobby Lashley .... Lashley has signed with Progress and will make his debut soon ....Universal Women’s Champion Lacey Evans comes out to the ring and calls out all the women in the audience .... She says all the little girls in the crowd should look up to her because she is the example of what a strong woman looks like .... Not Toni Storm, who is setting an example on how women SHOULD NOT act .... Toni Storm even being in the same ring as the Universal champion would be a disgrace to the title ....
Toni Storm comes out to a BIG pop .... Toni says she gave up one dream to chase something bigger when she relinquished the Shimmer Internet title, and at ALL IN she proved that she can beat Evans .... She’s known as the ‘Lightning Down Under’ and lighting will strike twice when she beats her again, this time for the title ....
They are interrupted by Shayna Baszler and the Horsewomen (Marina Shafir & Jessamyn Duke) .... Shayna says nothing happens in this division without her say so .... The last time she and Toni were in the ring she choked her out and left her laying unconscious .... And she still owes Lacey a receipt and she’s going to give it to her and take her title .... Lacey says she’s the champion and she calls the shots .... Toni says Shayna is right, she left her laying but she had some help .... can she do it by herself? Evans goes for a cheap shot but Toni avoids it and hits a German suplex on Lacey! The Horsewomen hit the ring, but Storm escapes ....

The EST talks backstage about their failure to win back the Shimmer tag team titles earlier tonight .... MVP comes in and says there will be a tournament in Progress UK to crown a new Shimmer Internet champion .... He could only choose one of them to be in the tournament, and he made the tough choice and picked BelAir .... Naomi is disappointed, but wishes BelAir luck .... BelAir says when you are ‘the EST’ you don’t need luck ....[/color=]

POST MATCH - Keith Lee comes out and says things aren’t over between them and he wants another match with Cage .... Cage accepts and Lee offers a handshake .... Once again Cage walks past him, but Lee grabs his arm and pulls him back! Both guys start firing away with right hands! Cage hits a big Lariat but Lee comes back with the POUNCE that sends Cage flying out of the ring and Lee stands tall ....

IT IS ANNOUNCED THAT IT WILL BE SHAYNA BASZLER vs. TONI STORM and KEITH LEE vs. ‘The Machine’ BRIAN CAGE ON NEXT WEEKS EPISODE ....**** 4. In a match to determine who will challenge Johnny Gargano for the US title next week, Ricochet vs. Dolph Ziggler put on a 15 minute classic .... the end sees Ricochet go for a super-plex on Ziggler, but when they hit the mat and Ricochet tries to float over for the cover Ziggler hooks his legs, resulting in BOTH guys shoulders being down for a count of 3 .... ****POST MATCH - There is confusion as the refs try to sort things out .... Johnny Gargano comes out and says he doesn’t care, he will fight both guys next week ....

An announcement is made for the next Progress joint show, the PROGRESS WORLD CUP .... The show will include the Progress World Cup, which is a 16 man tournament with representatives from 16 different countries .... we get the announcement for the first four competitors:

**** 5. In a match for the Progress Tag Team Titles, War Machine (Hanson & Rowe) def. The ONE% (Kyle O’Reilley & Roderick Strong) by DQ ....****
Austin Aries gets involved early on in this match, and the champs take over the heat on War Machine .... Hanson gets worked over and they go right after the injured knee .... Rowe with the hot tag eventually and he runs wild, taking out everyone .... Rowe drags Hanson to his feet and starts slapping him in the face to get him fired up, and then War Machine hits Thor’s Hammer on O’Reilley for a CLOSE 2 count! Aries tries to get involved, but Rowe with the judo throw and then the knee strike takes him out .... They try to hit the Fallout on Aries, BUT RICKY MORTON & ROBERT GIBSON JUMP THE RAILING IN STREET CLOTHES AND PULL HANSON TO THE FLOOR!!!! The ref sees this and calls for the bell .... War Machine win the match, but RnR has screwed them out of the titles!
POST MATCH - Rowe is beat down 3 on 1 by The ONE% in the ring, while THE ROCK N ROLL EMPIRE DESTROY HANSON OUTSIDE THE RING! Gibson stretches Hanson’s injured knee out on the floor, and Morton gets a chair and smashes his knee repeatedly with it!!!! In the ring, Strong & O’Reilley lay Rowe out with the Sick Kick Total Elimination and Aries locks Rowe in the Last Chancery!
AJ STYLES’ MUSIC HITS!!!! AJ comes back out still showing the signs of the earlier attack, and he’s got a chair! He hits the ring and clears everyone out, while Ricky Morton and Robert Gibson escape into the crowd .... THE ONE% escape up the ramp, and AJ stares them down as the show ends ....
