We see highlights of Progress Takeover: Atlanta, with Mustache Mountain winning the battle royal to become the #1 contenders to the Progress tag titles, and Charlotte ending Shayna Baszlers undefeated streak thanks to Paige Van Zant .... It ends with highlights of AJ Styles retaining his Atlas title in controversial fashion over Austin Aries ....* * * * OPENING SEGMENT * * * *
We are scheduled to begin the show with AJ Styles defending the Progress Atlas title against Matt Riddle, who is cashing in his Atlas title briefcase .... However, AJ makes his entrance but cameras backstage show Matt Riddle laid out .... AJ is in the ring waiting, but instead out comes the ONE% led by Austin Aries ....
Aries says he doesn’t know what happened to Matt Riddle because they werent the ones that did it .... He says AJ was behind it because he will do anything to keep the title .... Riddle shouldn’t be the guy getting that title shot anyway, it should be Austin Aries because AJ didn’t beat him at Takeover! Aries says he never agreed to the match being restarted, so therefore whatever victory AJ thinks he got over him never happened .... He wants AJ’s win stricken from the record books and he wants another shot at the Atlas title .... AJ says The ONE% are the ones that took out Riddle, but he will fight Aries right now ....
The ONE% hit the ring and attack AJ, but then Brian Cage’s music hits!!!! Cage hits the ring and runs wild, and the ONE% bail out .... AJ and Cage end up in a stare down and AJ gives Cage the nod of appreciation ....

Backstage - AJ catches up with MVP and says he wants Aries .... MVP questions if AJ could be the one that took out Matt Riddle and AJ says he can’t be serious .... it was obviously The ONE% because Aries is after the Atlas title .... MVP says he will get to the bottom of it, and gives AJ and Aries the chance to kill each other next week in an Iron Man Match!!!!**** 1. The Street Profits (Montez Ford & Angelo Dawkins) def. Steve Cutler & Wesley Blake with the Doomsday Blockbuster ****Ford & Dawkins make sure everyone knows they are here for the Gold ....

THE ONE% cut a promo about defending their titles against Mustache Mountain .... They think they are a joke .... Strong says they are the reason why Brian Cage’s streak is over because they pinned him on the last show (it is shown how it took multiple finishers to put him away) .... Strong says he’s going to beat Cage one on one tonight .... MVP comes in and accuses them of taking out Riddle earlier tonight .... Aries denies it .... He says he’s getting the shot next week because he deserves it, not because Riddle is hurt .... **** 2. Candice LeRae def. Naomi with Ms. LeRae’s Wild Ride ****In the next segment, Paige VanZant is interviewed in the ring .... She is asked about getting involved in the Shayna Baszler/ Charlotte Match at Takeover: Atlanta .... VanZant defends her actions but is interrupted by Shayna Baszler along with Marina Shafir & Jessamyn Duke .... They come out and surround Van Zant, but Charlottes music hits and she runs out to back up VanZant .... However, it’s a swerve all along as VanZant turns and takes Charlotte out with a cheap shot! Baszler, Duke and Shafir all stare at VanZant in surprise until she throws up the 4 fingers of the Horsewomen .... They all proceed to beat Charlotte down 4 on 1 and leave her laying!

Low Ki promo .... Eli Drake interrupts and says everyone stopped caring about the US title when Low Ki won it .... he calls him a robot and says he has more charisma in his little finger than Low Ki has in his whole body .... Eli says he is going to take the US title from Low Ki and make it mean something again and that’s not an insult, that’s just a fact of life .... Low Ki says he will fight Drake anytime and he will humble him .... Low Ki is a warrior and a fighting champion .... He tells Drake to watch the next match closely ....Elias comes out playing his guitar and running down the crowd, but he is interrupted by Low Ki’s arrival for their US title match ....
**** 3. (C) Low Ki def. Elias Sampson with a Dragon Sleeper to retain the United States title ****After the match, Eli Drake comes out on the ramp and fake claps for Low Ki .... Dalton Castle comes out behind Drake and tosses him in the ring, and Low Ki lays him out with the switchblade kick .... Dalton Castle enters the ring and says Low Ki says he will face anyone, so Castle challenges him to put the belt on the line next week .... Low Ki accepts ....

Candice wishes Toni luck, but says when she wins the belt she wants to get the first title shot ....**** 4. ‘The Machine’ Brian Cage def. Roderick Strong with the Weapon X ******** IN THE BACK: ****
Hanson cuts a promo about what the RNR did to Rowe at the 10th Anniversary show .... Morton & Gibson want to jump them from behind and then hide like cowards .... Hanson assures the fans that Rowe will be back soon and they have declared War on the RNR .... but now they have turned their sights on Paul Orndorff & Roddy Piper and they will be bringing the WAR to Wrestlemania .... **** 5. (c) Lacey Evans vs. Toni Storm ~~~ Women’s Universal title ****This is all about the desperation of Toni Storm .... She surrendered the Internet title just to get a shot at the Universal title, only to fail when Shayna Baszler inserted herself into the title match .... Toni was pinned by Evans .... Toni knows that despite all she has given up, this could be her last shot ....
Storms sense of urgency shows at the beginning as she attacks and brings the fight to Evans early .... Evans takes some punishment but turns the tables with a spin kick .... They battle to the apron and Toni goes for Storm Zero on the apron but Evans back drops her onto the ring frame! From here it’s Evans working on the back, but Toni refuses to quit .... Toni tosses Evans and then hits a Tope Suicida that takes her out but Storm also hurts her back even further .... This allows Evans to hit a Super-plex and then the slingshot elbow drop! 1 ... 2 ... Toni kicks out! Lacey yells at Toni to stay down .... Toni with the shoot headbutt out of nowhere that ROCKS Evans! Toni with a release German, then she hits the running hip attack in the corner! She pulls her out to the center of the ring and hits Storm Zero!!!! 1 ... 2 ... 2.99999!!!! Evans kicks out!!!! Toni doesn’t know what to do now .... She goes up top for the leg drop but Evans recovers .... NAILS HER WITH THE WOMAN’S RIGHT ON THE WAY DOWN!!!! Both ladies are down, but Evans slowly crawls over and covers for the 1 ... 2 ... Nooooo! Toni is barely out! Evans goes for Lady Lace Up, but Storm counters into a sunset flip, but she rolls through and counters .... they roll to their feet but Toni holds on and hits another Storm Zero! Toni doesn’t even go for the cover this time, and instead hauls Evans back to her feet .... STORM ZERO A 3rd TIME! 1 ... 2 ... 3!Toni is in tears as the ref hands her the Universal title .... She takes the microphone and cuts a promo about how this is the greatest moment of her career and how honored she is to hold this title ....
