- On the last episode of Progress USA, Ember Moon cashed in her Money in the Bank briefcase and won the Women’s Universal title from Nia Jax in a 3 way match also involving Charlotte ....
- We get a lot of highlights of the Atlas title tournament which took place in London, Glasgow, Atlanta and Orlando ...
- New Shimmer and Shimmer tag team champions were crowned as The EST (BelAir & Naomi) defeated Alexa Bliss & Santana AND Toni Storm defeated Paige respectively ....
- Ember Moon successfully defended the Universal title against Charlotte .... Shayna Baszler attacked BOTH women after the match, including turning on Charlotte and choking her out ....
- The Atlas title finals are set as AJ Styles, Finn Balor, ‘The Machine’ Brian Cage and Drew McIntyre will battle for the Atlas title at the Great American Bash ....




BASH TALK - MVP is already in the ring and he brings out AJ Styles & ‘The Machine’ Brian Cage .... these are the 2 guys will represent Progress USA in the ATLAS title finale at the Great American Bash in London .... Cage takes the mic from MVP and talks shit to AJ, because he’s not just a man .... HE’S A MACHINE!  AJ says Cage is a Machine, but he’s not ‘phenomenal’ .... MVP says he’s going to give the fans a little preview because it’s going to be Cage vs AJ tonight!


**** ReDragon (Kyle O’Reilley & Bobby Fish) def. TMDK (Nick Miller & Shane Thorne) **** .... .... (Chasing the Dragon on Nick Miller) ....

POST MATCH - Fish & O’Reilley cut a promo on Sanity and War Machine about the 3 way tag match for the Progress tag titles at the Bash .... Sanity appears on the big screen telling Redragon that they will fall to chaos at the Great American Bash ....

IN THE BACK -

Renee Young is with MVP again and he’s got BIG announcements concerning the Bash ....

1. Night 1 (July 27th) will be from Boston and will feature a joint show of the USA & UK women’s rosters .... the 2018 Queen of the Ring will be the main event ....
2. Night 2 (July 28th) from London will be a joint show featuring the USA & UK men’s roster .... the 4 way Iron Man match for the Atlas title will be the main event ....
3. Progress has secured 4 world champions (World title, world tag team, women’s title, women’s tag team) to defend their titles on the shows .... MVP says that CM Punk will defend the World title on Night 2, and he will get to hand-pick who he will face!  More matches for the Bash will begin being announced later in the show ....


We come back to the ring and Elias Sampson is in the ring with the spotlight on him .... Elias plays his guitar and sings a song that trashes the city, but he is interrupted by ‘LONG NECKS AND REDNECKS’ and out comes ‘Cowboy’ James Storm!  Storm and Elias have a back and forth, which leads to an impromptu match ....


**** ‘Cowboy’ James Storm def. Elias Sampson **** .... .... (The match is competitive, but Storm comes out on top with the 8 Second Ride) ....

POST MATCH - Storm has his customary beer bash and celebrates with the fans ....

In the next segment we get the arrival of the United States Champion THE MIZ for an in-ring interview with Renee Young .... Miz is pissed and cuts a promo on his loss to Johnny Gargano in the Atlas title tournament .... He says Johnny winning is the biggest upset in the history of the world .... The crowd starts chanting ‘You tapped out!’ to get under Miz’s skin ....

This brings out Johnny Gargano to a BIG pop .... he says he has made Miz tap out twice and he wants a US title shot .... Miz refuses .... Gargano asks for a match and says if he loses he will never challenge Miz again but if he wins then he gets a shot at the Miz whenever he wants .... Miz gets a cheap shot in on Gargano and puts the boots to him .... with Gargano down, Miz arrogantly accepts the challenge!  


**** Johnny Gargano def. United States Champion THE MIZ **** .... .... Miz puts the boots to Gargano but he fights back .... both guys are in street clothes here .... Miz dominates and cuts Gargano off every time he tries to mount offense .... Johnny catches him with the slingshot Spear for a 2 count .... Miz goes for the Skull Krushing Finale but Gargano escapes and manages to trap
Miz in the GargaNO Escape!  MIZ is trapped and has no choice but to tap out! ....

POST MATCH - Miz leaves holding his arm but Johnny grabs the mic and stops him .... because of their deal, Johnny now gets a title shot any time he wants!  And he wants it tonight in the main event!!!!

Shayna Baszler cuts a promo on attacking Charlotte at the Atlas title tournament show in Glasgow .... Baszler says she was hired to do a job, and she’s the one that decides when that job is done, not Charlotte or anyone else .... She puts herself over, saying she represents ‘reality’ that is going to slap these fake-ass Barbie dolls in the face and wake them up from the dream world they live in ....

Charlotte’s music hits!  Charlotte is walking to the ring with a purpose and she goes right after Baszler!!!!  We got ourselves a brawl, but Baszler is throwing bombs and busts open Charlotte’s nose!  She is bleeding everywhere!  Referees come in and pull the 2 apart, but Baszler grabs the mic and issues a challenge to Baszler for a match at the Great American Bash show!!!!


PROMO - Renee Young is in the Great American Bash control center with a report on the Bash card so far .... more matches will be announced on the next episode of Progress UK:

- Redragon vs Sanity vs War Machine for the Progress tag titles
- CM Punk defends the UWF world title against an opponent of his choosing ....

It is also announced that the fans can go to www.thisisprogress.com and vote on the team that will challenge Rock N Roll Empire for the UWF tag team titles at the Great American Bash ....  


**** ‘The Machine’ Brian Cage def. AJ Styles **** .... .... This serves as a preview for the Bash as these 2 are part of the Atlas title finals .... fun and athletic contest that really highlights Styles’ overall skill and Cage’s power .... at one point in the match, AJ catches Cage in the Calf Killer but Cage manages to survive and get to the ropes .... Cage would come back and nail the Weapon X on AJ, but AJ would kick out .... likewise, AJ would also hit the Styles Clash but Cage would kick out .... The finish sees AJ go for the phenomenal forearm but Cage catches him in mid-air with a powerslam!  He picks AJ up .... BUCKLE BOMB!  1 ... 2 ... AJ kicks out!!!!  Cage goes for the Drill Claw, but AJ fights out .... PELE KICK!  AJ goes for the quebrada but Cage dodges and drills him with a discus lariat!  Cage immediately picks AJ up and this time hits the Drill Claw (Steiner Screwdriver) and gets the clean 3 count!

POST MATCH - Cage poses while the announcers hype him up as having a lot of momentum going into the Atlas title match ....

**** MAIN EVENT: Johnny Gargano def. (c) The Miz to win the United States title **** .... .... HUGE chants of ‘Johnny Wrestling’ start this one out .... Johnny starts out the aggressor because he wants the belt, and Miz tries to get himself counted out early but Johnny drags him back in .... Miz kicks his knee out and then hits the short DDT to take the advantage .... Miz on the attack but Gargano scoops him up and hits the Lawn Dart! .... Miz rolls outside and Johnny wipes him out with a dive to the floor!  Johnny goes for the slingshot Spear, but Miz cuts him off with a kneelift .... SKULL KRUSHING FINALE!  1 ... 2 ... Noooooo!  Gargano kicks out!!!!  Miz pouts and grabs the US title, but the ref stops him from using it .... While Miz and the ref are playing tug of war with the title belt, Gargano drills Miz with a Superkick!  Miz drops the belt, and Johnny immediately goes to the apron .... SLINGSHOT DDT ONTO THE TITLE BELT!!!!  1 ... 2 ... 3!!!!  New Champion!




POST MATCH - Gargano celebrates with the US title as his partner Tomasso Ciampa comes out and celebrates with him .... Gargano takes the title into the crowd and celebrates with the fans as the show ends ....
