We go to Mauro Renallo & Renee Young at ringside, who recap last weeks episode and set up what we are going to see tonight .... they recap last weeks show with War Machine overcoming the odds to defeat Young Money to win the Progress tag team titles as well as ‘The Machine’ Brian Cage issuing a challenge to Johnny Gargano for a US title shot ....

MVP comes out to start the show and comments on AJ Styles violating his suspension and costing Young Money the Progress tag titles last week .... and how is AJ punished? By Johnny Saint granting him an Atlas title rematch in the U.K. .... MVP says what AJ did was ground for termination, but he’s been getting all the tweets and DM’s from people saying AJ is the heart and soul of Progress .... But if that’s the case he’s going to rip out the heart of this company!
Bobby Lashley comes out and interrupts .... Why are we talking about AJ Styles? Lashley is the only real fighter in this company .... he has beaten AJ Styles and he’s beaten Matt Riddle .... neither of those guys are in his league .... he wants some competition .... MVP assures him he has signed someone that will make everyone forget about AJ Styles ....
‘YOU THINK YOU KNOW ME?’ .... Mwtalingus by Alter Bridge hits and out comes ...
.... EDGE!!!! Edge is in Progress!!!! ‘HOLY SHIT!’ CHANTS! Edge says the Rated R Superstar is in Progress, but Lashley blows him off .... Lashley is a prize fighter, so if Edge wants to fight MVP can make the match with the most zeroes in the prize money and the most eyeballs on the match .... MVP interrupts and says he wasn’t talking about Edge .... meanwhile, behind them someone jumps the railing and slides into the ring ....
RKO OUTTA NOWHERE ON LASHLEY!!!! Randy Orton is here!!!! Orton stops and stares down Edge, then slithers out of the ring and back into the crowd .... Edge looks on from the ramp as Lashley tries to shake off the cobwebs from getting hit with the RKO ....

The Vaudevillains (Simon Gotch & Aiden English) .... ****Fish & O’Reilley continue to roll, getting the pin on Gotch after hitting Chasing the Dragon .... POST MATCH: Fish & O’Reilley talk about reuniting in AAW, where they have advanced to the semi-finals of the AAW tag title tournament .... Fish says they are the baddest team in Progress, AAW or any other promotion .... they are going to be the next AAW tag team champions, then they are coming after the Progress tag titles .... Roderick Strong sets his sights on singles gold, and he calls out the winner of tonight’s match between ‘The Machine’ Brian Cage and Johnny Gargano ....

Cameras catch up with Randy Orton as he is leaving the arena .... Alicia Atout is following closely behind and asking him why he attacked Lashley, then he spins on her and backs her up against one of the cars .... Orton stares her down and she shuts up, and Orton just gets in his car and leaves .... Shayna Baszler comes out and talks about having all the gold in Shimmer and Progress and how she is the most dominant force in the women’s locker room .... Nia Jax interrupts just like last week! Jax wastes no time in getting right in the face of Baszler, and of course Baszler doesn’t back down! They stare down for a long moment, but then Baszler smiles and walks off .... Jax grabs her hand and stops her, then shakes her head no .... HUGE HEADBUTT FLOORS SHAYNA! Marina Shafir & Jessamyn Duke attack Nia, but she takes them out with clotheslines .... Baszler stumbles to her feet and walks right into the pop-up Samoan Drop! Jax leaves the ring with everyone laid out ....

Baszler is PISSED! She is throwing stuff in the locker room and she says that if what just happened from Nia Jax is a challenge, then she can consider her challenge accepted for TONIGHT!Back in the arena, Matt Riddle comes out .... he says Jonah Rock impressed him last week, and he wants more .... he issues an open challenge that is accepted by Drew Gulak ....

War Machine promo .... Rowe says he told everyone they were gonna get their belts back, but they are only half way there .... They talk about the belts they never lost, the UWF tag team titles .... Young Money attacks War Machine from behind during the interview! Beatdown ensues, and MVP grabs one of the Progress tag belts and lays both Hanson and Rowe out with belt shots .... MVP says he is forcing War Machine to defend the tag titles against Young Money NEXT! .... **** 3. War Machine (Rowe & Hanson) def. Young Money (MVP & Kenny King) to retain the Progress tag team titles .... ****Young Money controls nevausr War Machine is still showing the affects of the earlier attack .... Rowe gets worked over but makes the hot tag to Hanson .... Hanson runs wild but King stops him with a handstand capo kick then he hits the Royal
Flush! Rowe breaks up the pin and all 4 guys are going at it .... MVP eats Thor’s Hammer, but King breaks it up .... King tags himself in, but gets hit with Thor’s Hammer also, then the Fallout finishes King as War Machine retains .... POST MATCH: MVP walks out on King, then stops on the ramp and heads back to the ring ONLY TO ATTACK KING!!!! MVP destroys King with a chair, busting him open .... he lays him out with the Drive By and walks off to a chorus of boos ....

We get a highlight package of the Progress Performance Center and the work that is being done there .... **** 4. Dual Champion Shayna Baszler def. Nia Jax to retain the Universal women’s title .... ****Jax dominates with her power, but Baszler uses strikes and leg kicks to chop her down .... Jax fights out of the Kirafuda Clutch by squashing Baszler in the corner, but Baszler avoids a charge and Jax strikes the ring post shoulder-first and falls outside .... Baszler with a PK from the apron, and another when Jax rolls in .... Baszler walks into a headbutt, then a big leg drop but she kicks out at 2 .... Jax goes for the pop-up Samoan drop, but Baszler adjusts in mid-air and lands on Jax’s back and locks on the Kirafuda Clutch again! Jax fades and can’t reach the ropes and she has to tap out! .... **** 5. ‘The Machine’ Brian Cage def. United States Champion Johnny Gargano by countout .... ****Gargano goes toe to toe with Cage and doesn’t back down, but Cage shows off his freaky power in dominating him .... Gargano gets the Gargano Escape, but Cage powers out of it .... Cage with a buckle bomb, but Gargano fires out with a superkick and then hits the slingshot DDT for a close 2 .... Roderick Strong comes out and watches the match from ringside, which distracts Cage and Gargano nearly wins with a quick roll-up .... the fight goes to the floor and Gargano hits a tornado DDT off the apron, but then he is distracted by Strong being out there too, which allows Cage to hit a desperation powerbomb onto the ring apron! Both men are down as the ref counts, but Cage manages to slide in at 8 and Gargano is counted out .... POST MATCH: as soon as the bell rings, Strong attacks Gargano on the floor .... Cage makes the save for Gargano and brawls with Roddy, but Redragon come out and attack Cage 3 on 1 .... Gargano rejoins the fight but the numbers are still too much until ....
.... PRINCE PUMA!!!!
Puma hits the ring and comes to the aid of Cage and Gargano!!!! The ONE% is sent to the floor, and Prince Puma wipes them out with a springboard shooting star press!!!!
Puma slides back in and does his superhero landing, then stares down Cage & Gargano .... he reaches up, and slowly removes his mask ....
IT’S RICOCHET!!!! Ricochet has returned to Progress!!!! Ricochet smiles at Gargano and does the belt motion around his waist as his music hits ....
