Wrestle Kingdom #300 starts out with a promo chronicling the companies history, from humble beginnings to the powerhouse that is part of Disney now .... We get a video package for tonight's main event between AJ Styles and Kazuchika Okada for the UWF TV title ...  


'GLORIOUS .... I WONT GIVE IN, I WONT GIVE IN .... TILL IM VICTORIOUS!  I WILL DEFEND, I WILL DEFEND ....'




Out comes Wrestle Kingdom Champion Bobby Roode .... Roode says he's not out here to talk about the past, because Bobby Roode is the future of this company .... he's not going to talk about how he was let down by every one of his teammates in the Champs vs All Stars match .... we are just going to talk about the new era in Wrestle Kingdom, the Era of Roode ....

This brings out Roman Reigns and the Usos to interrupt!  Reigns says this isn't the 'Era of Roode', and the only reason he's got the belt is because the Samoan Power Trip allows it .... but since this is about the future and not the past, it's time Roman Reigns claimed what belongs to him: the Wrestle Kingdom title!  

Now out comes Dana White!  White says that the landscape of Wrestle Kingdom is changing ....He likes the idea of this match and can't deny its box office appeal .... he wants to set the tone for the future and make tonight a HUGE night so he books Roode vs Reigns for the title in the main event!!!!


INTRODUCTION - MAURO RENALLO & THE COACH

We go to the announce desk, where Mauro and Coach talk about the main event Dana White just made .... its HUGE .... plus tonight we get to more fallout from Champs vs All Stars IV, Shimmer AND Wrestlemania .... the entire Wrestle Kingdom roster has been shaken up in the recent talent draft and tonight we will see some of the new members of the Wrestle Kingdom roster in action ....



Corbin destroys Titus, finishing him off with the End of Days in about 45 seconds ....


IN THE BACK ---- American Alpha talk to Britt McHenry about winning the tag titles in the Champs vs All Stars match and being fighting champions .... They are cut off as Sanity comes in and Eric Young issues a challenge for them tonight .... Gable and Jordan accept, and it's NEXT! ....



Back and forth battle that sees The Revival come out to distract Sanity .... Killian Dane leaves the ring to save Eric Young from the attack, leaving Alexander Wolfe to get hit with the Grand Amplitude for the win and AA retain ....

The brawl between The Revival and Sanity continues after the bell .... we get a moment where it's just Nikki Cross in the ring with both Dash and Dawson but she doesn't back down .... she tries to fight both of them, which ends with them laying her out with the Shatter Machine to a HUGE pop!  



Morgan is smoking hot but she's very green .... this is mostly Ember Moon, who wins with her corkscrew stunner known as the 'eclipse' ....


VIGNETTE ---- we get a vignette for 'The Fallen Angel' Christopher Daniels .... Daniels says he sees Wrestle Kingdom as a Kingdom with no King .... he tells the people not to worry, that the prophecy will be fulfilled because Christopher Daniels is coming to Wrestle Kingdom .... and he isn't coming to entertain, he is coming to rule!  And that is the gospel according to the Fallen Angel ....




The fans give Cage a standing ovation .... the announcers really push his performance in the Champs vs All Stars match, but Miz is not impressed ..... Miz says his team didn't win the match or the 1 million dollars, so he is technically a loser .... this causes heat between Cage and Miz, when out comes 'Miracle' Mike Bennett with Maria Kanellis ....

Bennett and Maria blame Cage for losing the match but Cage says at least he is the one standing here with a belt .... there is some back and forth with Miz instigating as always .... Cage wants to settle it in the ring and Bennett agrees but says he only fights when it matters and wants a shot at the Evolve title .... Cage accepts ....



Cage dominates, but Bennett uses Maria to take the advantage .... Cage makes his comeback and is about to put Bennett away when out runs Matt Taven to interfere!  Cage wins the match via DQ to retain the Evolve title ....

After the bell, Matt Taven and Bennett double team Cage until ELI DRAKE makes his return and makes the save for Brian Cage!!!!  

This leads to an impromptu tag match as Natural Selection reunites to take on It Factor!!!!



The reunion is short-lived, as Drake turns on his partner and lays him out with 'Blunt Force Trauma' .... Drake walks off smiling as Bennett and Taven hit the 5 star rocket launcher on Cage to get the win ....

Mauro and Coach announce It Factor will get their rematch against American Alpha for the tag titles next week ....


PROMO ---- we get a highlight package from the return of Shimmer .... it focuses on Bayley successfully defending the Shimmer title against Sasha Banks, plus Charlotte and Nia Jax conspiring to take out UWF world champion Awesome Kong just hours before her Wrestlemania title defense ....




Charlotte comes out and says she has the whole world talking .... she talks about how she and Nia Jax exposed Awesome Kong at Shimmer #1 .... Charlotte says she is the most genetically superior woman in the UWF, and she proved that Kong isn't as 'unstoppable' as everyone thinks .... since Nia Jax has her back, soon you're going to be looking at the new UWF women's champion ....

Nia Jax interrupts and wants to make one thing clear .... she isn't Charlotte's friend .... she didn't help Charlotte because she likes Charlotte, she just wants what Charlotte promised her .... This causes Charlotte to lower her mic and talk to Jax 'off the record' .... her body language insists that she is scared of Nia and trying to reassure her of their 'deal' .... Charlotte tells Nia that she will get what she promised her: once they take out Kong and Charlotte is the world champion, Nia will get the US women's title and she gets the first shot at Charlotte .... Nia takes the mic from Charlotte and directs her comments to Awesome Kong, saying Kong has never seen someone like her ....  

This signals the debut of ODB!  She comes out and says Nia and Charlotte haven't seen anything like the O ... D ... B!  BAM!  ODB confronts Charlotte and wants a match .... Charlotte says that ODB doesn't deserve a shot at her title, but she can have a match .... ODB gets ready to fight, but Charlotte says she didn't say she could have a match right now .... the fans boo, but Charlotte and Nia leave the ring as ODB takes a swig from her flask as her music plays ....





PROMO ---- we get an announcement for the return of Wrestle Kingdom Roulette next week .... 10 men will be drawn at random to compete in the match with 4 cases hanging from the ringposts .... inside the cases are either a Global title shot, an Evolve title shot, a tag title shot, or a pink slip ....


IN THE BACK - a camera crew shows the Usos laid out in the locker room ....



Reigns controls a good portion of this match, but there is a ref bump .... Reigns spears Roode and has the pin but there is no ref to make the count .... Roode grabs the title and tries to escape, but Reigns chases him down .... Reigns pulls out a table and is going to put Roode through it when out comes

Spoiler:

Ambrose attacks Reigns outside the ring!!!!  Reigns turns the tables and goes for a spear but Ambrose dodges and Reigns goes through the ringside barrier!!!!  Dirty Deeds on the floor!!!!  In the ring, Roode revives the ref and he slowly starts counting .... 1 ... 2 ... 3 ... 4 ... Reigns starts to stir .... 6 ... 7 ... he tries to pull himself back in the ring ... 8 ... 9 ... 10!  He doesn't make it in time and Reigns is counted out!!!!

Roode grabs the belt and immediately escapes, while Reigns is left fuming in the ring .... Ambrose, meanwhile, is in the crowd celebrating and he and Reigns lock eyes in an intense staredown as the show ends ....
