We begin tonight's show with a HUGE pyro display as the newly-opened, 10,000 seat Wrestle Kingdom arena is rocking!



MAURO RENALLO & THE COACH HYPE TONIGHTS SHOW .... They recap last weeks show, where Roman Reigns and The Usos added AJ Styles, Jay Bradley and Wrestle Kingdom Champion Sami Zayn to their hit list .... tonight, Bradley will get a chance at payback when he takes on Roman Reigns .... also on tap for tonight:

- The Revival defends the Wrestle Kingdom tag team titles against the Kingdom w/ Maria Kanellis
- Paige and Charlotte do battle to crown the 'interim' Women's champion

We go to the ring, where Tyler Breeze has come out .... we haven't seen Breeze in several weeks .... Breeze takes the mic and says how dare Wrestle Kingdom try to forget about him and push him to the back of the line .... he wants an opponent tonight and he doesn't care who it is .... he gets his wish as 'CHRISTCONTROL' by Cancer Killing Gemini hits and out comes Corey Graves!


Singles Match ----- 'Savior of Misbehavior' Corey Graves def. Tyler Breeze

This is far from a one-sided match .... Both guys take time getting their offense in, and it is even coming down the stretch .... Graves benefits from working on the knee early on in the match, and he traps him in the Lucky 13 to get the tapout win ....


PROMO ----- ETHAN CARTER III/ BRIAN CAGE

Ethan Carter III cuts a crybaby promo in the back .... Evolve Champion Brian Cage interrupts .... Cage says he is breaking through the glass ceiling because he is the evolution of pro wrestling .... EC3 was handed everything since he stepped foot in this company because of his last name .... he talks about Natural Selection and them going toe to toe with the Shield and the Bullet Club .... but along the way EC3 became a spoiled little brat .... EC3 says he wants the WWA title, but he's not above using Cage and his title as a stepping stone to get to it .... Cage says he will fight him tonight because he's more than a man, he's a machine!


For the 'Interim' Women's United States title ----- Charlotte def. Paige to win the title

This is an absolute WAR .... Paige is the more aggressive and controls Charlotte early on .... Charlotte battles back with chops and then connects with a moonsault for a close 2 .... Paige hurts her shoulder, which prevents her from locking on the scorpion crosslock when she has Charlotte at her mercy .... she hits the Ram-Paige and pins Charlotte for 3, but Charlotte gets her foot on the ropes AFTER the 3 count!  The ref just sees the foot on the ropes and restarts the match .... Paige thinks she's won and she argues with the ref, which allows Charlotte to grab her and toss her shoulder-first into the ring post!  NATURAL SELECTION BY CHARLOTTE!!!  1 ... 2 ... 3!


PROMO ----- TAG TEAM CHAMPIONS THE REVIVAL

Dash and Dawson talk about facing the Kingdom tonight .... Dawson says they live down 40 miles of bad road and there ain't a tag team .... hell, there ain't 2 guys anywhere in the world that can make it down their block .... in case you don't understand, which I'm sure you don't because you don't know what it's like to be the best at anything, but being the best is miserable ....  it's exhausting but that's the price you pay to be the very best tag team on this planet .... they make it look easy, because they are the top guys .... and they will still be the top guys after tonight is over ....

Roman Reigns and the Usos walk by, and the Revival lock eyes with them .... the Usos admire the tag team titles, then nod their heads and just walk off ....


For the Wrestle Kingdom Tag Team Titles ----- (c) The Revival (Scott Dawson & Dash Wilder) def. The Kingdom (Matt Taven & 'Miracle' Mike Bennett) w/ Maria Kanellis to retain the titles

The fans really don't like either one of these teams, but they appreciate the match they put on .... it has a big fight feel to it .... during the course of the action, both teams try to 'out-heel' the other and nearly pull it off several times .... Taven nails the 5 star frog splash on Wilder, but Dawson rings the bell at ringside which distracts everyone .... Maria and Dawson get into it at ringside, which ends up with Dawson planting a big kiss on Maria!  Of course Bennett loses his shit over this and goes after Dawson, leaving Taven alone in the ring .... This allows Wilder to roll up Taven and use the rights to get the 3 count!  The Revival escape with the tag titles ....


PROMO ----- BOBBY ROODE and DANA WHITE

Bobby Roode walks in to Dana White's office again this week .... Roode insists that he is the 'face' of Wrestle Kingdom .... he has been here the longest and he has had the most success of anyone on the roster .... Dana White says that's saying a lot seeing as the WWA roster is the deepest of any promotion in the UWF .... White finally says that Roode can have a match tonight, but Roode says no .... Roode wants his match next week so Dana White and the Wrestle Kingdom marketing team can spend the entire week promoting it .... it is going to be an event of epic proportions, and he wants it all over magazines, newspapers, social media, and sportscenter .... Roode says next weeks show will be the highest rated episode of Wrestle Kingdom in history, and it will be GLORIOUS!!!!


Up next, Roman Reigns and the Usos come out .... Reigns calls out Sami Zayn .... He says they didn't destroy him last week because he has something that Reigns wants .... What happened to AJ Styles, or Dean Ambrose, or Seth Rollins could have easily happened to Zayn last week so consider yourself lucky .... Its the Rise of the Roman Empire, so Zayn needs to do himself a favor and just come out and hand him the title before he ends up in the hospital too ....  Jay Bradley comes out and cuts the whole promo off, and he's looking for a fight!


Singles Match ----- Roman Reigns w/ The Usos def. Jay Bradley

Reigns and the Usos continue their takeover of Wrestle Kingdom .... Bradley won't go quietly, as his quest for redemption continues .... this is basically a brawl from the start .... the Usos get involved, but Bradley is able to fight them off .... however, the distraction allows Reigns to drill him with the spear for the 3 count ....


The Usos hit the ring and continue to attack Bradley after the match .... they give him the triple powerbomb, and Reigns takes the mic and says they will take out everyone in the locker room until Reigns gets what he wants .... Sami Zayns music hits!!!!  Zayn comes out on the stage and wants Reigns in a match next week, and he will put the Wrestle Kingdom title on the line!  Reigns smiles and says Zayn just did the rest of the locker room a favor by falling on his sword, because next week he is taking that title!


For the 'Evolve' title ----- (c) 'The Machine' Brian Cage def. Ethan Carter III to retain  

Match of the night and really a star-making performance for Cage .... Early in the match, Cage is busted open hardway when EC3 sends him into the steps and he hits his head, opening up a nasty cut above his eye .... the cut is gushing blood for most of the remainder of the match, and the ref threatens to stop the match but Cage begs him not to .... EC3 is in control, but Cage keeps kicking out despite his blood loss .... maybe he IS a machine!!!!  Cage turns the tide with a dive to the outside that a man of his size shouldn't be able to do!  Cage buckle bombs EC3 into the ring post!!!!

Back in the ring Cage hits EC3 with the 559 (tiger feint kick/619) but EC3 comes back with the TK3 (TKO) .... EC3 locks on the rear naked choke and Cage fades .... the ref checks him and his arm actually falls 3 times!  As soon as it drops the 3rd time Cage raises it!  EC3 protests that Cages hand dropped, but the match continues .... Cage battles back, hitting the GMSI (pumphandle sitout facebuster) for a 2 count!  EC3 goes for the 1%, but Cage blocks it and drops EC3 on his head with a German suplex .... EC3 pops up to his feet, but Cage nearly takes his head off with a tornado lariat!!!!  Cage picks EC3 up and drills him with the Lucha Destroyer (Steiner Screwdriver) and finally gets the 3 count!


This match is a statement match for Cage .... He is quickly becoming one of the breakout stars in WWA .... meanwhile, EC3's fall from grace continues ....
