ROUND 1
_________

1. Taka Michinoku (2-2) vs KENTA (5-1)

Taka is a member of Suzuki-Gun. 1 of 3 members entered in this tournament. KENTA is easily a fan favorite and one of the picks of many fans to win. But Taka came here to fight. He nails KENTA with a Missile Dropkick. Later KENTA hits a Busaiku Knee but only gets 2. Taka nails a Michinoku Driver but KENTA gets his foot on the ropes. He goes for another but KENTA slips out the back. He nails a Roundhouse KIck then lifts him up... Go To Sleep! 1.. 2.. 3!

Winner: KENTA (6-1)

2. Daisuke Sekimoto (2-2) vs Kota Ibushi (1-0)

Word is Antonio Inoki waited for Kota to get doctor's clearance to wrestle before making this event. Many wrestlers backstage are rumored to be a bit miffed by this. Sekimoto is a man that has often complained about young guys not getting chances. He has one tonight. He dominates early on with big forearms and suplexes. He hits an overhead Belly to Belly that sends Ibushi right over the ropes and to the floor. Daisuke reaches through the ropes only to get hit with a Tiger Feint kick. Kota grabs him and slams him on the outside. Then goes up and hits Golden Triangle Moonsault (Over the corner slingshot into a springboard to the outside). Kota rolls him inside and goes up for a Moonsault. He misses. Sekimoto goes for the Bazooka Lariat but Kota does a Matrix counter. Then a Reverse Frankensteiner. He goes up again.... Phoenix Splash (Corkscrew 450° splash). He gets the 3 count.

Winner: Kota Ibushi (2-0)

3. BxB HULK (3-2) vs Minoru Suzuki (2-1)

HULK had to win a match against Noam Dar to get here. But this is a whole new test. The evil, twisted leader of Suzuki-gun. HULK tries his best but Minoru takes over and puts him away with a Gotch Style Piledriver. Then applies a Rear Naked Choke for the tap out.

Winner: Minoru Suzuki (3-1)

4. Naomichi Marufuji (5-1) vs CIMA (3-3)

Both men shake hands before the match. We get a fairly clean wrestling match but Marufuji is gaining the advantage. CIMA lands a kick and a Perfect Driver (Cross-legged sitout Scoop Slam Piledriver). 1.. 2.. Kick out by Marufuji. Naomichi comes back and nails a Front flip Neckbreaker. Then applies a Triangle Choke. CIMA battles and lifts up and drives Marufuji into the bottom Buckle to break the hold. STO by CIMA and he goes for the Mad Splash. But Naomichi jumps up and hits a Shiranui Kai (Moonsault slam). He pulls him up... Tiger Flowsion (Double underhook sitout side Powerslam)! 1.. 2.. 3!

Winner: Naomichi Marufuji (6-1)

5. Cutie Pie Club (Candy Cartwright, Khloe Hurtz, Raquel & Kiera Hogan) vs HZK, Azumi, Hiroyo Matsumoto & Konami

Very good 8 Woman Tag Match. Story here was Azumi, who is often bullied by CPC having a great showing. Almost pinning Candy after a Top Rope Sunset Flip. The match gets a bit out of control and Hurtz beats Konami after hitting Natural Order (Pedigree).

Winner: "The All-Natural" Khloe Hurtz (1-0)

6. Hirooki Goto (3-0) vs BUSHI (3-2) w/Mio Shirai

BUSHI is the only member of the Sadist Colony entered in the RSC and the only member not currently a champion. While Goto is undefeated in singles competition. Mio gives BUSHI some instructions. The match starts and they tie-up into the corner and BUSHI spews black Mist right into the eyes of Goto! He schoolboys him. 1.. 2.. NO! Bushi Suplexes him. He covers... 2 count again. BUSHI goes up for MX (Diving double knee facebreaker). But when he jumps Goto clotheslines him out the air. Goto is still trying to clear his vision. he rolls out the ring and a fan gives him water he uses to was out his eyes a little. He returns to the ring as BUSHI is back up he lands a few kicks but then Goto catches his leg and hits a Tokko Lariat (Discus lariat)He pulls him up... GTR! 1.. 2.. 3!

Winner: Hirooki Goto (4-0)

7. YAMATO (6-1) vs Akira Tozawa (2-1)

The battle of two heels both have some fans but the crowd has definitely sided with Tozawa for this bout. We get a surprisingly a mostly clean Mat wrestling contest. It's Tozawa who begins the rule breaking after raking the eyes of YAMATO. Tozawa opens up with a lot of strikes. He goes for a Senton Bomb but YAMATO gets his knees up. He follows with Gallaria (Inverted facelock lifted and dropped into a sitout scoop slam Piledriver). Then locks in CBV. Ajira works towards the ropes but then Yamato rolls and winds up back in the center and Tozawa is forced to tap out.

Winner: YAMATO (7-1)

8. Hiroshi Tanahashi vs Mike Bennett (4-3) w/Maria Kanellis

Kevin Kelly points out how Hiroshi is not a contracted RSW wrestler but he took advantage of Inoki's open door policy. Of course Antonio had no problem letting someone with Tanahahi's track record entering the Battle Royal from the TV Taping. Maria has the Authors of Pain out here ringside for "support". They look almost disinterested. Bennett and Tanahashi have a great match. Going toe to toe the whole time. Tana sends Bennett to the floor via a flying headscissors. Mike is on the floor and Maria is yelling at AoP to protect him. They stand in front of him as Maria tends to him. Tanahashi acts like he's backing off then jumps on the buckle and hits a High Fly Flow that knocks down the entire Kingdom! Tanahashi grabs Bennett and sends him back in. He nails 2 Sling Blades and finishes him with the High Fly Flow.

Winner: Hiroshi Tanahashi (1-0)

(After the match Maria is berating the AoP for not protecting her husband. they help Mike up from the mat then they give him The Last Chapter! Maria is stunned as Authors of Pain give her the finger and leave the ring, apparently quitting the Kingdom.)

9. Yuji Nagata (3-1) vs Yujiro Takahashi (1-1) w/Pieter

The rivalry between Nagata and Bullet Club Japan's leader, Takahashi has been ready to boil over. It all stemming from the Tokyo Pimp's treatment of his "#1 girl", Pieter. Yuji has time and time again tried to get her away from his clutches with no success. Just to annoy Yuji, Takahashi has Pieter gyrate in the ring before the match. Yuji shakes his head in disgust.

Nagata takes control early. Landing chops & kicks. He goes for an Exploder but Yujiro elbows free and instead delivers a Belly to Belly. He hits a running knee to the lower back. Then applies a Boston Crab. Pieter looks concerned on the outside as Nagata wills himself to the ropes. Takahashi drops an elbow across the back. Then as Yuji is draped over the bottom rope. Yujiro grabs him by the hair and yells at Pieter "Here's your Hero!" Then he stomps his head. He gives Nagata the Ero Neckbreaker (Delayed Hangman's Neckbreaker). He goes up... Flying Headbutt misses! Exploder Suplex into the turnbuckle. He pulls him up and hits the Justice Knee. Then applies Shirome (Seated Armbar). Yuji is pulling so hard his eyes roll to the back of his head but Takahashi is able to get his toe to the bottom rope.

Nagata goes for the Backdrop Hold (Bridging belly-to-back suplex) as Pieter climbs on the apron but Takahashi flips out and lands on his feet. The ref is telling Pieter to get down and misses Yujiro kicking Nagata low. Yuji drops to his knees and Takahashi hits Pimp Juice (Snap DDT to a kneeling opponent). 1.. 2.. 3!

Winner: Yujiro Takahashi (2-1)

(Afterwards as Takahashi grabs Pieter and rushes her away she is looking back at a still in pain Yuji Nagata with an apologetic expression)

Main Event: Kamaitachi (5-1) W/Mio Shirai vs Dragon Lee (4-1) RSW Junior Heavyweight Championship

Rematch of the Junior Tournament finals. Kamaitachi seems extra animated tonight if that's possible. They come center ring jawing at each other then just start trading chops back and forth. They ae just tearing into each other's chest with hard shots. Both men are developing red welts from the impact. Kamaitachi lands a knee then a European Uppercut. He fires him through the ropes and goes to the apron and nails a diving Senton to the floor. He looks for the Time Bomb out on the floor but Lee counters into a Lungblower. Dragon rolls in to stop the count then as Kamaitachi gets up on the apron himself Lee races at him and hits a Frankensteiner that takes them both out to the floor again!

Both men have taken a beating. the count is at 18 when both men dive in simultaneously. Lee nails a dropkick. Then grabs Kamaitachi and hits Desnucadora (Vertical suplex Powerbomb)! 1.. 2.. NOOO!!! Lee is landing some shoot kicks to the chest of the Junior Champ. He gets his leg caught and he is put into an ankle lock. Dragon Lee reaches and grabs the ropes. Kamaitachi stays on him... Dynamite Plunger (Fireman's carry lifted into a sitout side powerslam)! 1.. 2..

NOOOO!!!! Lee kicks out! He tries to follow with D (triangle Choke but they are too close to the ropes.Lee is on the apron but Kamaitachi lands a kick to the gut then delivers a Sunset Flip Powerbomb to the floor. Mio is telling Kamaitachi to get back in the ring as the referee Red Shoes is counting. 17... 18... 19... Lee dives back in! Neither man can barely stand but the champ sucks it up. He grabs him for Time Bomb but Dragon counters into a modified La Mistica. He covers for another near fall. Lee goes up Missile Dropkick connects! He has him.... Mother of Dragons!!! 1.. 2..

The bell rings!!!!! The crowd is cheering but Red Shoes is waving t off he grabs the belt and hands it to Kamaitachi as he explains to the ring announcer that time ran out.

Referee's Decision: Time Limit Draw

(Lee just collapses in the ring. Totally spent physically as well as mentally. Mio is helping her protoge to the back while the fans give Dragon Lee a standing ovation. Kevin Kelly & Professor Tanaka hype up Night 2 of the Rising Sun Cup & sign off.)
