Minoru Suzuki (3-1) vs KENTA (6-1)
.....VS.....
KENTA was probably the favorite to win this going in according to most fans. But tonight he comes across the most dangerous man in RSW. Add to this story is the recent attack KENTA suffered at the hands of members of Suzuki-gun. KENTA utilizes his superior striking repertoire. Minoru though just absorbs blow after blow. Sometimes taking 3 or 4 shots just to land one big in return. Then Minoru begin to work his notable submission offense. He has KENTA in a Manji-gatame (Octopus hold). The referee is asking but KENTA refuses to quit. Finally Minoru releases the hold and moves into a Dragon Sleeper. Again KENTA is hanging on and not tapping. He is able to turn himself slightly and reach out his toe which get to the ropes. The referee calls for the break but Suzuki holds it on until 4 is reached by the referee.
Minoru lays in a stiff Penalty Kick to the spine of KENTA. Then pulls him up for the Sleeper but Kenta is able to roll him up! 1.. 2.. NO! Minoru gets to his feet but is met with a Koutoubu Kick. Minoru is stunned as KENTA hits the ropes....Busaiku Knee Kick! KENTS lifts him on his shoulders but Suzuki slips out and applies the Sleeperhold! KENTA is fading. He's almost out when Minoru spins him for the Gotch-Style Piledriver but KENTA escapes and hits a jumping knee strike to the jaw of Suzuki. He gets him up.... Go To Sleep!!!! 1.. 2.. 3!
Winner: KENTA 7-1
2ND BATTLE
Yujiro Takahashi w/Pieter (2-1) vs Hirooki Goto (4-0)
....VS....
Bullet Club Members, Cody Hall & Chase Owens are here ringside and of course Pieter does her dance at the behest of the Tokyo Pimp. Goto as he usually does stands there stoically. Awaiting the start of the match. He never even looks at Pieter dancing. He is known for his focus. You see Cody beginning to put the bad mouth on him saying he might as well forfeit his upcoming World Title shot against Bullet Club leader Magnum Adam Cole. Goto says nothing. Then Hall points his finger at Goto who grabs his wrist and delivers an Olympic Slam. Cody Cody practically bounces out the ring. Yujiro charges but runs into a Lariat from Goto. The bell is rung.
Goto is dismantling Takahashi. He gives him a Back Body drop that sends him about 10 Feet in the air. Yujiro tries to escape to the outside but Goto chases him out. Yujiro grabs Pieter and pulls her in front of Hirooki. Goto grabs her by the arms and gently lifts the frightened young girl and moves her to the side. Then Yujiro hits a running boot that takes Goto down. Fans are booing as Yujiro rolls back in the ring and engages the referee as Hall and Owens send Goto flying into the ring steps. They send him back in and Yujiro continues to dish out punishment. He goes up and hits a Flying headbutt for a near fall. He goes for the Ero Neckbreaker but Goto counters and nails a release German Suplex. Shouten Kai by Goto. 1.. 2.. NO! Takahashi rolls to the apron but Hirooki has him by the hair. Pieter is holding her face in her hands in worry. Owens jumps on the apron but gets blasted off by a Goto Lariat. Same goes for Hall. Pieter nervously gets on the apron now. Goto winds up to blast her but stops. He turns and pulls Yujiro into the ring as the referee gets Piter down. He doesn't see Yujiro land a knee to the groin. Goto falls to a knee... Pimp Juice (DDT to kneeling opponent)!! He covers and pulls off a major upset.

.....VS.....
XWA's Tanahashi gets a great ovation from the Tokyo Dome crowd. Not surprising as YAMATO is one of the most hated men in the territory. He snap mares him out the corner and drops an elbow to the shoulder before locking in a chinlock. Tanahashi fights to his feet and lands a few elbows to free himself . He rolls to the floor but isnt aware that Tanahshi has gone up top and catches him with a High Fly Flow out on the floor. He rolls him back in and goes up for another... but misses. YAMATO releases the hold before 3. He grabs Tanahashi but he givs him Twist and Shout (Snap swinging neckbreaker). He pulls him up... Snapdragon Suplex! 1.. 2.. NO! YAMATO barely kicks out! They are trading elbow shots. YAMATO hits a roaring Elbow and Tanahashi is rocked. He goes for the CBV again but Hiroshi is fighting it before it gets locked in. Tanahashi pulls the arm away then twists and hits out of nowhere the Twelve Six (Leg hook sitout slam). YAMATO is dazed as Hiroshi hits the ropes... Sling Blade! He goes up... INTERMISSION
(Mao, The Yellow Barbie steps into the ring for her interview segment.)
Mao: As you can see I have with me, the RSW Heavyweight Championship Belt. This will be awarded tonight to whoever wins the Rising Sun Cup. 4 Men are left vieing for that honor. But let's bring out some other champions. The Sadist Colony who are the Tag Team & Junior Heavyweight Champions. Of course led by Mio Shirai.
Mao: Mio, your guys are not on the card tonight but they have been the talk of RSW. Some say it may be time for loftier goals. Could that be in your plans?
Mio: The Colony has no limit to the success we can achieve. So if you are eluding to World Titles I would say to any World Champion, Look over your shoulders because we are upon you.
Mao: Is there one particular title you are targeting first?
Nio: We want all the titles but we saw The ELITE here a few months ago. And we were not impressed. So We are issuing a Challenge to that group to face us at SUNSET for those titles.
Mao: What a way to close out the year here in RSW. A World 6-Man Championship Match to add to the World Heavyweight Title Match. If they accept, and I bet they will. We are going to have a great year end show!
Mio: I care nothing about the year end show. The end will be no different than the beginning. With us leaving a trail of broken bodies in our wake.
Mao: OK.... Anyway let's get back to the Rising Sun Cup!.

Hiroshi focuses on the leg and applies a Figure Four but Owens distracts the ref as Hall pulls Yujiro to the ropes so he can get the break.
Match continues when from out the back runs Yuji Nagata with a steel chair. Cody Hall stands right in his way, daring him to come forward. Yuji jams the chair into his gut then slams it across his back dropping him to the mat. He looks at Owens who begins running back up the aisle as Yuji runs after him.
