Live from the Rhodes Arena in Akron, Ohio . . . this is . . . SHOOTING . . . STARS . . . WRESTLING !!!!Show opens with the closing moments of last week’s huge title match between John Cena and CM Punk, where neither man is able to answer the 10 count at the end of two 5 minute extra periods in their match. Cena offers a handshake to Punk, who walks right past him and leaves the ring.Opening promo airs to ‘FIRESTARTER’ by ProdigyThe shot opens up on the crowd, who are pumping their fists and chanting ‘S-S-W! S-S-W!’ Joe Rogan is already in the ring and he welcomes everyone to the show right here in Akron, Ohio. He would like to being out his guest, the current SSW Genesis Champion . . . CM PUNK!
‘Miseria Cantere: The Beginning’ by AFI hits and out comes Punk to a great reaction from the crowd. Rogan asks Punk about his match with Cena, and says that their match last week really didn’t solve anything. Punk says as far as he is concerned he is done with John Cena. Cena had his chance, and by his count he actually had not 1 but 3 chances!!!! When it all boiled down to it, Cena could not beat him because he is better than John Cena. Now he is moving on because he is focused solely on the King of the Ring tournament. That’s right, he won his first round match . . . did Cena? No wait, Cena lost so he isn’t even in the KOTR anymore!
‘MY TIME IS NOW’ hits and out comes Cena. Cena says that if Punk thinks things are over between them he is sadly mistaken. He may not have beaten Punk, but Punk didn’t beat him either. He challenges Punk’s manhood, saying that he will have to live with the fact that he has never beaten John Cena. Cena thinks they should do it one more time for all the marbles, and the fans agree. Punk does not agree, however, and calls Cena insignificant. He is focused on winning the King of the Ring and going on to Wrestlemania to become the UWF World Heavyweight Champion. When he does, he will be the first ‘Straight Edge’ world champion in history!
‘BREAK THE WALLS DOOOOOOOOWN!’ and out comes Chris Jericho. Jericho is tired of the two of them deciding the future of SSW in a slapping and hair-pulling contest. He is out there because he agrees with CM Punk. Cena has had his chances, chances that he did not deserve in the first place, and now it is HIS time! He accuses Punk of ducking him, and he wants them to make history and have a title vs. title match TONIGHT! Cena steps up and says if Jericho is going to get to Punk he is going to have to go through him first! ‘HERE COMES THE MONAAAAAAAY!’ hits and out comes Shane McMahon. Cena has given him a good idea. He makes Jericho vs. Cena in the main event tonight!!!! Jericho says that he is going to expose Cena for the fraud that he is and do something that Punk could not do last week . . . beat John Cena!

Serial Thrilaz (Shane Helms & Shannon Moore)This match starts off at a quick pace, and the challengers actually take it to the Wolves at the onset. Moore hits some high speed moves, setting up a huge flying bodypress by Helms onto both of the Wolves on the outside. Edwards gets worked by the Thrillaz and they get a near-fall, but Richards nails a kick to the back on Moore to break the momentum, and Edwards scores with a running stunner. Richards and Edwards take over on Moore, but the crowd gets behind him and he manages to squirm free and make the hot tag. Helms comes in a house of fire, hitting his signature moves on both Wolves. Edwards gets taken out with the Sugar Smack, then Richards falls to the ‘Nightmare on Helms Street’! 1 . . . 2 . . . NO! We nearly have an upset but Richards kicks out. Moore comes back in and joins the fray, but Edwards send him outside. Edwards and Richards go for the alarm clock, but Helms turns it into a blockbuster in mid-air! He blocks the DR Driver, then goes for the Vertebrae-ker! Edwards breaks that move up with a super kick, and the Wolves hit the power bomb/ backstabber combo on Helms for the pin as Richards holds off Moore.
After the match, the Wolves cut a promo on how they have ran off all the teams in SSW. Now they are the only ones left, and there is no one here to challenge them. Now they can concentrate on what really matters, and that is the World tag champions!!!! Nigel and Danielson have still not answered their challenge, and these Wolves are on the hunt. This brings out Saturn, who says he is still around. Richards says that Saturn is all alone, and he dares him to get in the ring. Saturn walks to the ring, but he never said he was coming alone! Kofi Kingston w/ Prince Nana
Vs.
Kenny Omega
vs.
Justin Angel
vs.
Yoshiro TajiriNana and Kofi come out last, and Nana takes the mic and says they are boycotting this match. The Crown Jewel should be competing for titles, not fighting against 3 peasants that have not even wrestled for this company before. Kofi and Nana leave the ring and sit ringside, and the ref orders the match to proceed as if it were a 3 way dance. The action starts off incredibly fast as all three men are flying around the ring. Tajiri hits the handspring back elbow off the ropes, taking out both Angel and Omega. Tajiri starts laying in kicks to Angel, but Omega breaks it up and hits the double palm strike! Omega goes for the Croyt’s Wrath (electric chair into German Suplex), but Tajiri squirms free and turns it into a tornado DDT. Tajiri tosses Omega outside and goes after him, but Angel hits the heat-seeking missile and takes them both out! They land right in the lap of Kofi and Nana, which infuriates them. Angel tosses Tajiri into the ring and goes for Cannonball Senton, but Tajiri rolls out of the way. Tajiri lays in the buzzsaw kicks, but Angel dodges the last one Omega springboards in with a missile dropkick that takes out Tajiri, and Angel follows it with a brainbuster! Angel up top . . . 450 splash!!!! 1 . . . 2 . . . 3! Tajiri is eliminated! It is down to Angel and Omega and they dazzle the fans with some high-flying spots. Omega whips Angel into the corner, but Angel tries to go up and over. Omega catches him in an electric chair, then drops him in the Croyt’s Wrath for the pin!!!!
It appears Omega has won his debut match in SSW, but suddenly Kofi hits the ring and attacks him! Kofi takes Omega out with the Trouble in Paradise, then demands that the ref count the fall. The ref hesitates, but Nana is screaming at him to make the count. Finally he does, counting the 1 . . . 2 . . . 3 and giving Kofi the win.
IN THE BACK: Kelly Kelly is standing by with the UWF World tag team champions Nigel McGuiness and Bryan Danielson. Danielson talks about facing some tough teams in the King of the Ring so far, but there seems to be a couple of teams trying to get their attention. First, the Skyscrapers want to jump them when they were in WLW. Well, their message to the Skyscrapers is simple. Don’t jump on the champs unless you are ready to finish the job. They have an open contract for a world tag title shot, but they don’t see a signature on it because the Scrapers want to just jump them from behind. Danielson tells them to step up and sign on the dotted line. Nigel talks about the American Wolves, then tells them that they are not even in their league yet. But be careful what you wish for because you just might get it! Match 3: Singles Match
David Hart Smith
vs.
Teddy HartSmith comes out and talks about being the future of the business, and how he belongs in the class of the elite. What has the Hart Family ever done? How many world titles have they held? He and Ted Dibiase are the best of the 2nd generation. When you are as good as they are you don’t pay dues. Teddy hits the ring and attacks DH right away, and he has to bail out to get away. Teddy follows him out, but Dibiase gets a cheap shot in and the ref turns around and ejects him from ringside! The match continues with DH in the driver deat, but Teddy’s athleticism gets him the break he needs. Teddy regains the advantage and sets DH up for the shooting star elbow, but someone jumps the railing and grabs Teddy’s foot, crotching him! Security tackles the fan and throw him out, and the ref asks Teddy if he can continue. Teddy will not give up and he tries to continue, but DH is just too much. He drops Teddy on his head with a back drop driver, then gets him in a hangman neckbreaker position and nails him in the back of the head with a rolling elbow that knocks him out cold! DH makes the cover and gets the 1 . . . 2 . . . 3!

John MorrisonAs both men circle, the announcers put over that both men will challenge Chris Jericho for the TV title in a 3 way dance next week! We get a lock up and a lot of chain wrestling at the beginning, ending with both men in a stalemate. Another exchange of hip tosses and arm drags sees both men go for a drop kick at the same time and miss, then they kip up and are faced off again, and this time they get a standing ovation from the crowd. The fans give both men standing ovations in this one as they lay on the mat exhausted.
IN THE BACK: Kelly Kelly is with Paul Heyman and Brock Lesnar. Dangerously chases Kelly off, then puts over Lesnar. SSW has never seen anyone like him. From Owen Hart, to Kurt Angle, to CM Punk. No one can match Lesnar. He issues an open challenge for any ‘fighter’ to meet Brock right here next week, and he tells MVP that if he were smart, he would just stay at home and keep knocking off liquor stores. That is a lot safer than getting in the ring with Brock Lesnar! Commercial BreakIN THE BACK: Kelly Kelly is back and this time she is with the newly crowned IWS heavyweight champion AJ Styles. She gets his comments about the King of the Ring, and AJ says there are a lot of great competitors in the tournament, but only one that is ‘phenomenal’. AJ is thankful for the support and opportunity, but he gets interrupted by Robert Roode. AJ asks Roode why he has such a problem with him and Roode says that SSW is handing AJ everything on a silver platter, including the King of the Ring spot. Roode can’t even get a match this week, so the only way he is going to get the respect he deserves is by taking AJ out. AJ says that they can do it right now, but Roode backs off and says next week AJ belongs to him, then the whole world will see. Before the next match, CM Punk comes out and sits ringside to help with the commentary. Punk says that his body is in rough shape from the physical match with Cena last week, and he knows that Cena is sore as well. They ask why he will not shake Cena’s hand, and Punk says that he does not respect Cena and he does not like the way the fans drool over him. Punk says that he is the champion and he is the best, and soon the fans will see the truth!
Main Event: singles match
John Cena
vs.
(SSW Television Champion) Chris JerichoJericho takes over in the early goings, and it is clear that Cena is still feeling the effects of last week’s match. Jericho turns to heckle Punk as he is beating Cena, and this allows Cena to fight back. Cena catches Jericho with some shoulder blocks and then hits the fame-asser from the 2nd rope, but only gets 2 as Jericho rolls outside. Cena follows, and slams his head into the announce table right in front of Punk. Cena does it again, and he and Punk lock eyes. Cena goes to pick Jericho up, but he grabs his tights and pulls him face-first into the ring steps! Cena is down, and now Jericho jaws with Punk. Jericho tosses Cena into the railing, then continues to work on the back. Cena takes a lot of punishment, but responds to the cheers by fighting back. Cena punches his way out, then hits the front-flip bulldog! Cena dodges a clothesline by Jericho and hits the proto-plex . . . 5 KNUCKLE SHUFFLE!!!! Jericho celebrates like he has just won the world title or something, screaming ‘I TOLD YOU SO!’ while outside the ring security has come out to separate Cena and Punk. Security keeps them apart, but Punk breaks free and attacks Cena only to have them pulled apart again. The show ends with security trying desperately to keep the 2 men apart!
