SHOOTING . . . STARS . . . WRESTLING !!!!

*Show starts off with highlights of last week’s Iron Man match between CM Punk and Chris Jericho.  It shows the final minutes, where both Christian and Ted Dibiase get involved and AJ ends up hitting Punk with the Styles Clash to help Jericho win.  Footage of the post match celebration is shown as well.  

The screen goes black and we hear the fans chanting ‘S-S-W!  S-S-W!’  ‘TILL I COLLAPSE’ by Eminem plays and the opening montage airs.  The camera comes up on the crowd pumping their fists and chanting, and the strobe lights go off on the ramp.  The camera scans the crowd, focusing in on several signs in the audience.  The cheers turn to boos as Jeremy Borash introduces his guest, the 1st ever SSW Unified Champion . . . CHRIS JERICHO!!!!

‘WE ARE THE CHAMPIONS!’ by Queen plays as Jericho walks out with a smug look on his face with the SSW Genesis title thrown over one shoulder and the SSW TV title over the other.  Confetti rains down from the ceiling and so does boos from the crowd.  Jericho looks at Borash and says that he is not qualified to interview the champ and he takes the mic from him.  

Jericho – ‘I AM THE KING OF THE WORLD!!!!  For 8 . . . long . . . months I have come out here and told you people that I was the best in the world at what I do.  And night in and night out I proved that.  I proved that by beating Maxx Payne, I proved that by beating Tiger Mask, and I proved that when I made it to the finals of the King of the Ring tournament.  And last week, I proved it once again by doing the one thing that I told you all that I WOULD do.  I beat CM Punk to become the very 1st Unified Champion in SSW history.  I have spent the last 8 months proving that I am the best that the UWF has ever seen.  And this . . . CM Punk . . . this proves that I . . . am better . . . than you!  I am better than you, I am better than anyone else in that locker room, and I am better than you . . . Bruiser Brody.  That’s right, I said it.  There is no doubt in my mind that I am the one that belongs in the main event at Wrestlemania!  Not Rick Rude, and not Bruiser Brody!  It should be very clear to all of you that the only thing keeping me out of Wrestlemania is a blatant conspiracy against me by that power-hungry Paul Boesch and the corrupt body that is the Board of Governors.  Wrestlemania is the spotlight for deserving athletes like myself, the best of the best, not overgrown throw rugs like Brody.  The very fact that he holds the UWF title is a disgrace!  But rest assured, Chris Jericho is here to save the UWF, even from itself.  I have defied the odds before, and I will defy them again because one way or the other I am going to be in the main event at Wrestlemania!!!!  Because I am the best in the world at what I do!

‘WALK’ by Kilgore hits and this brings out Rob Van Dam!  RVD plays to the crowd and gets in the ring with Jericho, but Jericho looks disgusted.  RVD says that Jericho comes out and spouts off about 30 catchphrases in every interview.  He is way too tense and needs to loosen up his tie and relax a little bit.  Jericho tells RVD that he is beneath him and does not deserve to be in the same ring.  Jericho knows that RVD fancies himself as the ‘highlight of the night’, but Jericho is the ‘human highlight reel’.  RVD says that is a new one on him, because there is one little thing that the fans like to call him.  The fans start chanting ‘WHOLE F’N SHOW!’  RVD says that they did not get a proper introduction and he says his name while doing the RVD thumbs.  There is something else that the people call him, and that is the No. 1 contender.  Jericho says that Van Dam does not deserve a shot and he needs to earn it like he did.  He will need binoculars if RVD expects him to look over his shoulder for him because he is so far back.  Jericho says that he might have gotten lucky once and tells him to beat someone and then come talk to him.  Van Dam says that the ‘someone’ that he heats will be Jericho!  Jericho tries to take a cheap shot with the title belt, but RVD ducks and nails a spinning heel kick.  Jericho is down, and RVD is up top . . . 5 STAR FROG SPLASH!!!!  

RVD’S music hits and he plays to the crowd as Jericho rolls out holding his midsection.

As we go to break, still shots are shown of AJ Styles attacking CM Punk and costing him the SSW title last week.  Joe and Mike say that AJ Styles is supposed to be here tonight . . . hopefully to explain his actions of last week.

IN THE BACK: Jericho finds Elijah Burke in the back and demands that he do something about what just happened.  How dare RVD put his hands on the champ!!!!  Burke says that he is going to do something about it . . . he is going to give Jericho a chance to get even!  Jericho’s tone changes really quick and he starts to disagree, but Burke says that RVD is going to get his title shot in 2 weeks in his home town of Battle Creek, Michigan!  Jericho is livid!  Burke says that the Pope has spoken and walks off!

Match 1: Singles Match

Kenny King
vs.
‘The Ripper’ Paul Burchill w/ Katie Lea

King puts up a great fight in this one, and the crowd is solidly behind him.  King makes his move to try to put the match away, but Burchill is able to withstand it.  King misses a springboard blockbuster, and Burchill strikes out of nowhere with the Twisted Sister and gets the 3 count to win in his debut.

‘FINAL COUNTDOWN’ by Europe hits and out come Bryan Danielson & Nigel McGuiness.   Danielson cuts a promo on the American Wolves beating them last week, saying that the Wolves finally made it to the next level.  But they are not done by a longshot.  See, anyone can get lucky once but people call you the best by going out and proving it night in and night out like they have.  Danielson challenges the Wolves to a rematch, but before he can finish ‘PERSONAL JESUS’ by Depech Mode hits and out comes Austin Aries and Roderick Strong.  Aries says Nigel and Bryan had their chance and blew it.  Danielson screwed them out of the titles and they sat back last week and did not get involved.  That time is over.  This is their time and the title shot belongs to them!  McGuiness says that the only way they get to the titles is through them.  Tonight it will be Danielson & McGuiness vs. Aries & Strong.

IN THE BACK: Cameras catch RVD working out in the back when he is suddenly approached by Lacey Von Erich.  She goes on about how the title shot belongs to Ted Dibiase when RVD is jumped from behind by the entire Trilogy.  They slam RVD into some tables nearby and then Dibiase gets in his face and yells that the title shot is his.  

Match 2: Tag Team Match

The Trilogy (David Hart Smith & Cody Rhodes) w/ Lacey Von Erich
Vs.
John Morrison & Tyler Black

Competitve match that sees some good teamwork shown by Morrison and Black.  After Morrison gets the hot tag and cleans house, Cody loads up the elbow pad and goes for the rolling elbow on Morrison.  Morrison ducks and nails him with the ‘Flying Chuck’!  Morrison goes for the Morrison Starship, but David Hart Smith shoves him off the ropes all the way to floor and he crashes into the security railing.  Morrison is out of the match, and Black tries to fight off the other 2 men.  Black hits the Buckle Bomb on Rhodes, but as he sets for the super kick Smith nails him from behind with the Northern Lariat.  The ref puts DH out and Cody nails Black with the loaded elbow pad and gets the pin.  

After the match, Black goes outside and yells at Morrison, who is still down on the outside.  Black walks out, leaving Morrison laying on the floor.

IN THE BACK: Kelly Kelly interviews Trish, who is wearing one half of the HIP Wahines tag team titles that she won with Cindy Rogers.  Trish talks about their upcoming match at Wrestlemania, and how them being tag champions will affect the match.  Trish says that she has a lot of respect for Rogers and she is the toughest opponent that she has ever faced.  But she has beaten Cindy before, and she was not 100% when Cindy beat her.  She is going to regain her women’s title at Wrestlemania.  Lita walks in and Trish tries to apologize to her, but Lita is having none of it.  Lita says that she is tired of living in Trish’s shadow and that tonight she is going to show the world that she is better than Trish.  She slaps Trish and walks off, leaving Trish standing there holding her cheek.

Commercial Break

‘TOUCHED’ by Vast hits and out comes AJ Styles.  Styles is met with a negative reaction from the crowd, and Mike and Joe go over what happened last week and how AJ cost CM Punk the SSW title.  AJ takes a mic and says that he keeps hear ‘Why?  Why AJ did you cost CM Punk the SSW title?’  AJ says that he doesn’t care about Punk and he doesn’t care about Jericho.  He cares about AJ Styles!  He didn’t do what he did last week for Chris Jericho, he did it to make an impact!!!!  Ever since he steopped into SSW he has been overlooked and ignored, but this week people are talking about AJ Styles!  He is the most phenomenal athlete in the world, and he deserves the top spot in this company.  If people like CM Punk or Chris Jericho won’t give it to him . . . HE WILL TAKE IT!  ‘CM Punk . . . you are standing in the way of greatness . . . MOVE!’

This brings out CM Punk to a huge pop.  Punk has a wild look in his eye and he comes to the ring and gets right in AJ’s face.  Punk says nothing, then slaps AJ in the face so hard that it knocks him back, and then he slaps him to the ground!!!!  AJ scoots away from Punk, and Punk is yelling at him that he cost him everything!  Punk dares AJ to fight him right now!!!!  AJ takes off his jacket like he is going to fight Punk, but then smiles and walks away.

Match 3: Singles Match

Ted Dibiase Jr. w/ Lacey Von Erich
Vs.
Rob Van Dam

Dibiase is waiting for RVD in the ring, but RVD sneaks in from the other side and climbs up top.  Dibiase turns around and RVD comes off the top and nails him with the leaping side kick!!!!  RVD gets on top of DIbiase and rains down right hands, then hits the ropes and nails the rolling thunder!!!!  Dibiase is hurt, and RVD points to the corner and the fans respond.  RVD up top . . . 5 . . . star . . . frog . . . splash!!!!  RVD hooks the leg and gets the 1 . . . 2 . . . 3!!!!

Lacey and the rest of the Trilogy are in shock as RVD bails out and goes up into the crowd to celebrate.  David Hart Smith helps Dibiase up, but Dibiase shoves him away and storms out of the ring holding his midsection.

Match 4: tag team match

Bryan Danielson & Nigel McGuiness
Vs.
Austin Aries & Roderick Strong

This is a great match that remains technical throughout most of the contest.  Each team takes turns isolating a member of the other with Aries and Strong working over the back of Danielson while Nigel and Danielson work the shoulder of Strong.  In the end Daneilson and Aries lay each other out with a double clothesline, then both crawl to their corners and make the tag at the same time.  Strong and Nigel hit the ring and an all out fight ensues, with Danielson and Aries getting involved again and all 4 men are going at it.  Nigel goes for the London Dungeon on Strong, but Aries breaks it up with the IED dropkick!  Danielson hits the Danielson special on Aries, and nearly gets the tap out victory before Strong makes the save.  Strong and Danielson go over the top rope to the floor, and Aries ducks the jawbreaker lariat and hits Danielson with the heat seeking missile!!!!  Strong, Danielson, and Aries are all down on the outside, and suddenly the Wolves come out and attack them!!!!  Aries and Strong brawl with the Wolves, and the fight goes all the way out into the crowd.  Nigel sees this but does not even try to help, but instead goes out and pulls Danielson into the ring!  The ref slaps on the 10 count, and Aries and Strong are counted out of the match!

Main Event: for the United States Women’s title

(Champion) Lita
vs.
Trish Stratus

The bell rings and these two lock up.  Trish shoves Lita back into the corner and offers a clean break, then they lock up again and LIta offers the same.  However, there is a big commotion on the ramp and we see that Awesome Kong has come out and is making her way to the ring.  Security and referees come out and get in her way, but she pushes through anyway and they try to hold her back.  Trish is distracted by this, and she calls Kong into the ring!  Lita takes advantage of the distraction and rolls Trish up from behind and gets the quick 3 count!!!!  

Trish is in shock and Lita quickly grabs the United States title and bails out of the ring as we go to break!

As we come back, the Pope has come out and tried to restore order.  Kong is still being held on the outside but she is calmer than before.  Trish is still in the ring and she is pissed, and Lita has bailed out with the title in hand.  Pope says that the people are not going to be cheated in the main event and he orders the title on the line in a triple threat match!  He tells the referees to let Kong go!!!!

Main Event: Triple Threat match for the United States Womens title

(Champion) Lita
vs.
Trish Stratus
Vs.
Awesome Kong

Kong hits the ring and Trish meets her with forearm shots.  A drop kick staggers Kong but she does not go down, and Trish goes for the Thesz press but Kong turns it into a spinebuster.  Meanwhile, Lita is back and she comes in off the top and catches Kong in the back with a missile dropkick.  Trish is up and she and Lita take Kong over the top with a double clothesline!  Trish looks down at Kong, but Lita rolls her up from behind again!!!!  1 . . . 2 . . . NO!  This time Trish kicks out!  Trish and Lita get in each other’s face, and Trish slaps the taste out of LIta’s mouth!!!!  Lita responds with right hands but Trish dodges a clothesline by using the ‘Matrix’ and then hits the Thesz press on Lita and hammers her with right hands!  Kong is back in and takes both Lita and Trish out with a double clothesline!  Spinning backfist knocks Lita out of the ring to the floor, but Trish ducks a spinning backfist and nails Kong with rights.  Trish with a dropkick that staggers Kong, but Kong catches her on the way back with a clothesline.  Lita is back in but Kong power slams her.  IMPLANT BUSTER ON LITA BY KONG!!!!  She goes to the top, but Trish is back up and catches her with the handstand huricanrana!  STARTUS-FACTION TO LITA!!!!  1 . . . 2 . . . KONG breaks it up.  Kong sets Trish for the awesome bomb, but Trish fights out of it with right hands!  CHICK KICK TO KONG BY TRISH!!!!  1 . . . 2 . . . NOOOO!  Kong kicks out!!!!  Trish goes for the Stratus-faction on Kong but Kong blocks it and dumps Trish over the top rope to the floor!  Lita is back up and dropkicks the knee of Kong, then climbs up top.  LITA-CANRANA IS COUNTERED BY KONG AND SHE BLOCKS IT!  Kong lifts Lita back up and has her in the position for the Awesome Bomb, but Trish comes off the top rope and nails a missile dropkick on LIta!  The momentum from the move carries LIta over, and she is able to hit the Lita-canrana at the same time on Kong!!!!  HOLY SHIT!  Kong is out of the ring,a nd Trish waits on Lita to get up . . . CHICK KICK CONNECTS!!!!  1 . . . 2 . . . 3!!!!  



The fans erupt as Trish’s hand is raised in victory and the ref hands her the United States Women’s title!  Trish is nearly in tears as she holds up the title along with her Wahines tag title belt, when suddenly ‘BRICKHOUSE’ by Rob Zombie hits!  Trish and everyone in the ring stop and look up the ramp, where we see . . . BETH PHOENIX!!!!  Beth smiles and claps for Trish before turning and leaving to the back as the show comes to an end.
