The ref turns around, but Jillian just starts talking on her Bluetooth like nothing is happening. Shiima presses the advantage, locking in a headscissors on the ground and choking Steamboat out. Steamboat flips over on top, forcing Xion to bridge up and go for a back slide but Steamboat gets out and hits a spinebuster. Both men are down. Steamboat is up first, unleashing a series of chops on Xion. Jillian is worried at ringside, as Steamoat hits a tilt-a-whirl backbreaker on Xion and goes up top. The two argue over who is going to get the first interview when Lance Storm walks out of the dressing room. He interrupts them, asking if he can be serious for a minute. He calls the tournament committee prejudice for making him fight a fellow Canadian in the first round, and it just further shows the conspiracy that the UWF has against him. But he will not be denied because he is an athlete that people can be proud to look up to. And when he emerges as the King of the Ring . . . no one can blame Canada . . . they can only blame themselves! ‘(1) Maxx Payne (RWA)
