Gordon Solie : Good evening . Once again , we are gathered in Annapolis Maryland here at West Point . This is the NWA Great American Bash : King of the Ring . With me my broadcast partner , from Midsouth Wresting , Jim Ross . This quite the Bash tour this year . Tomorrow night a lot of these wrestlers take off Glasgow Scotland
JR : Gordon , whoever wins the NWA title matches here tonight , will go hop right on a plane and go to Scotland . Then near the end of the Bash tour will be an International Bash all Star show in Paris France and also out of this tour we have Gateway and Progress merging .
Then here tonight a King of The Ring Tournament . The winner can cash in for whatever title they want anytime up to and including Starrcade . It’s going to be a wild night .
Gordon : Indeed and we kick it off with a good one . Bruiser Brody taking on Dr. Death Steve Williams .
KOTR : Bruiser Brody vs Dr . Death Steve Williams : This match starts off with Brody brawling . He punishes Doc in the early going , but he misses a big boot and Doc turns it into any over the head belly to belly . Doc hits a flying shoulder tackle for 2 . Doc hits the Stampede , but Brody’s foot hits the ref forming the process , knocking him loopy . Doc tries to revive the ref and Brody hits Doc in the back of the head with a chain . He tosses it out . The ref recovers and counts 3 .
Gordon : And that’s all she wrote .
JR : Doc was robbed Dammit ! Brody will move on to the finale later tonight . Right now , it’s the Rock vs Shawn Michaels .
KOTR : The Rock vs Shawn Michaels : Rock starts off firing right hands , backing up HBK . He whips HBK off the ropes and gets off a back body drop . HBK spins around , right into a Spinebuster . Rock covers and gets two . Rock pulls HBK to his feet , but HBK takes the eus and then hits a flying forearm . He kips up and then comes off the ropes with a Flying Elbow Drop . He starts to tune up the band , he goes to fire …. Rock Bottom !!!! Ref counts 1……..2…….Nooooo !!! HBK kicks out !!! Rock is yelling at the ref about what he believes is a slow count . Rock spins around …. SUPERKICK !!!!! HBK covers 1……..2……..3 !!!!!
Gordon : And it only takes one move . One second . Shawn Michaels is in the finals .
JR : Gordon : Rock took his eyes off the prize .
Gordon : Indeed , Jim . Right now it’s time for the finals match to see who goes into that Triple Threat on the KOTR Finale . Lets got to the ring .
KOTR Terry Gordy vs Paul Orndorff : Gordy wants to brawl , he hits Orndorff with a big boot and then a fist drop . Gordy stomps away on Orndorff and then works a reverse Bearhug . Orndorff gets to the ropes for the break . Gordy tries to cheap shot Orndorff from behind , but Orndorff dodges the big clubbing forearm and dropkicks Gordy out of the ring . He suplexes Gordy pick in and then hits an elbow drop . Orndorff hits a flying forearm smash from the second rope . He goes to pull Gordy up , but Gordy grabs the front of Orndorff’s trunks and hurls him into the turnbuckles . Gordy with a Buckle Bomb !!!! He pulls Orndorff to the middle of the ring and signal for a Piledriver , Orndorff with a counter and hits a Powerslam for 3 !!!
Gordon : And there you have it . Paul Orndorff is in the finals , Jim .
JR : Great match . I thought after the Buckle Bomb , Gordy was going to win , but took a little too long to play up to the crowd and damned if Orndorff didn’t make him pay , Gordon .
Gordon : Yessir and now Sting will be looking for revenge against one Jerry Lawler . Let’s go to the ring .
Sting vs Jerry Lawler : Sting hits the ring . He nails Lawler with a clothesline . Lawler staggers to his feet . Dropkick by Sting . Lawler rolls out of the ring . Sting hits a Plauncha on the outside . Lawler begs Sting off . JR tells us that this ain’t about $100,000, it’s about getting hit with a fireball . Sting goes to pull Lawler up , Lawler with a low blow . The ref calls for the bell . Lawler hits a Piledriver on the ground .
JR : Damn you Lawler .
Gordon : We need medical attention for Sting . Right now here is a preview of the International Bash All Stars on July 28th in Paris France .

Crockett : How is everyone tonight ???
Crowd roars .
Crockett : Jerry Lawler , you aren’t getting away with that kind of stunt . Sting wants his revenge . Well on July 28th in Paris at the International Bash All Stars . Right now we got a hell of a match . It’s time for the World Television Championship.
NWA World Television Championship Roddy Piper vs Michael Hayes : The two lock up collar and elbow . Hayes with a side headlock . Piper grabs the back of his hair and knees him in the back and then slams Michael’s head into the turnbuckles and then. Piper now showing off those elite boxing skills buries a right hand into Michael’s ribs . Now Piper with a side belly to belly . Hayes rolls out of the ring and grabs Piper by the leg and pulls him out . Hayes slams Piper’s head into the ring post and rolls him back in . Hayes pounds in the forehead of Piper and Piper is busted open . Hayes pulls Piper up , Piper gouges the eyes , kicks Hayes in the gut , DDT by Piper . Hayes is in the ropes and then. Hayes with a Bulldog . He covers 1………2……….Noooooo Piper kicks out !!! Hayes goes to pull Piper up , but Piper with a low blow out of the ref’s line of sight . He school boys Hayes 1…….2……3 ! A bloody Piper leaves the ring victorious .
Gordon : Jim that was everything we expected .
JR : Both men pulled out all the stops . It’s now time for the NWA World Heavyweight Championship.
NWA World Heavyweight Championship Lex Luger vs Kevin Sullivan : Sullivan shoves Medusa down as Luger is coming up the aisle . He attacks Luger and tosses him into the hard camera . He now stalks Medusa , Luger is back up and hits Sullivan with a double axe handle . Sullivan goes flying into the steps . Luger rolls his man back in , vertical Suplex by Luger and then goes for a Piledriver . Sullivan back drops out of it and then hits an elbow drop . Sullivan is biting the forehead of Luger . Luger is bleeding . Sullivan from there works a Sleeper . Luger falls into the ropes and clotheslines Sullivan in the top rope . Luger with a Powerbomb for 3 .
JR : Luger continues to dominate as champion . Now he’s off to Scotland .
Gordon : Yessir, don’t forget about Glasgow tomorrow night on NBC . It’s now time for the King of the Ring Finale .
Bruiser Brody vs HBK vs Paul Orndorff : The manacle Brody big boot HBK out of the ring and then hits clotheslines Orndorff . He lifts Paul up into a Back Body Vice . Paul pushes off the ropes and get on his feet and hits a side Suplex . Paul covers 1……..2…….Noooooo !!!! HBO breaks it up . HBK with a snap Suplex on Orndorff . Brody hits HBK with a flying shoulder tackle . Brody goes to the second rope . Knee drop to HBK . Orndorff is back up , spinning neck breaker to Brody . Orndorff goes to lift Brody for a running Powerslam , but Brody gets out the back clothesline to the back of the head by Brody ! Brody stomps on Orndorff and lifts him up for the GTS ….. SUPERKICK TO BRODY BY HBK !!! Orndorff falls out of the ring . HBK covers absolutely gets the 3 .
JR : Shawn Michaels found a way to win .
Gordon : That’s what the best do . He now had a contract from anytime tonight until , Starrcade to cash in on any NWA Title . Glasgow tomorrow night and then it’s all about the Great American Bash goodnight everybody .
