Tonight FVBW will crown its first tag team champs and a first round matchup opens the BASH!
1st Match:the SHEEPHERDERS w/ EDDIE GILBERT vs THE FANTASTICS!
a great match here as it pits the precise teamwork of the FANTASTICS vs the craziness that is the SHEEPHERDERS!
Add GILBERT into the mix and the crazy HERDERS cheat their way to a first round win and advance to the finals!
2nd Match: ERIC EMBRY vs SUPERSTAR BILL DUNDEE
These two start out scientific and EMBRY has a slight edge !
This causes DUNDEE to resort to some underhanded tactics to get advantage and steal a win with a pull of the tights that turns the crowd against him!
3rd Match:BRITISH BULLDOGS vs ZAMBUII EXPRESS w/ PERCY PRINGLE
A helluva match that has the BULLDOGS on the ropes quite a bit but they eventually get the win by countout as a brawl takes place on the floor with DYNAMITE beating the 10 count and the BULLDOGS advance to the tag team torney finals!
PERCY and the ZX are pissed abd attack the BULLDOGS post match and both hot huge big splashes which lay out the BULLDOGS!
4TH Match:THE HONKYTONK MAN vs JIMMY BOOGIE WOOGIE MAN VALAINT
Lots of stalling here as HTM leaves the ring several times which frustrates VALIANT!
HTM,S chickenshit tactics work as VALIANT gets frustrated and tosses the ref outta the way as he goes after HTM!
Un fortunately this causes the ref to dq VALIANT and HONKY escapes with a cjeap win that pisses off the crowd!
Up next is an in ring interview with the American Dream DUSTY RHODES!!
RHODES talks about his wanting the FCW Title and his growing hatred for RIC FLAIR !
He also discusses his goal of becoming NWA World champ and looks forward to seeing the UNDERTAKER tonight!
5th Match: JUNKYARD DOG vs EDDIE MANSFIELD
MANSFIELD uses his usual dirty tricks to get JYD reeling early but the DOG regroups...commences to kicking ass and one big thump powerslam gets the pin and win for the popular JYD!
6TH Match: Our first NWA World title match takes place as NWA National Champion-MACHO MAN RANSY SAVAGE defends aginst RICKY STEAMBOAT!
These two put on a 20 minute clinic here that goes back and forth and has the crowd on their feet!
These two are going fast and furious when an unfortuiante ref bump occurs which have all three men layed out!
The crowd then murmurs and soon roars as JAKE ROBERTS slithers down to the ring!
He looks at MACHO and then grabs SYEAMBOAT and hits him with the DDT!
ROBERTS grabs a still dazed MACHO and drapes him over STEAMBOAT and leave sthe ring to a chorus of boos!
The ref groggily turns to where the pin is taking place and make sthe three count as SVAGE has retained the title!
Obviously SAVAGE has no idea what has occured and actually cjecks on STEAMBOAT and helps him to the back!
7th Match: the FCW Tag Team Tourney Finals take place next as THE SHEEPHERDERS w/EDDIE GILBERT take on THE BRITISH BULLDOGS!
THE BULLDOGS show up with both sporting bandaged ribs from the ZX post match attack earlier so the HERDERS take full advantage of this and control this from the start!
The BULLDOGS weather the storm and with the fans solidly behind them they fight back !
GILBERT tries to interfere late in the match but gets dropkicked by DYNAMITE whuch sends him off the ring apron onto the floor!
BUTCH goes over to the ropes to check on his manager and gets dropkicked by DAVEYBOY and sent over the top rope to the floor!
LUKE is then powerslammed , DAVEY tags to DYNAMITE who hits a flying headbutt from the top turnbuckle and three seconds later we have our FIRST FCW TAG TEAM CHAMPIONS-THE BRITISH BULLDOGS!!
8TH Match: ONE MAN GANG w/ SIR OLIVER HUMPERDINK vs BLACKJACK MULLIGAN
MULLIGAN finally gets his chance at revenge on OMG for what he didn to his son BARRY WINDHAM and is a man on a mission!
BJM does not let up and OMG has no answer for him and SOH has to have a ringside conference to clear this up!
Eventually both men are exchanging blows and OMG at the behest of SOH leaves the ring and heads back to the dressing room giving MULLIGAN a very unsatisfied count out win!
9th Match:FCW HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPIONSHIP
RIC FLAIR (c) vs DON MURACO
WHAT AN EVENLY CONTESTED FIGHT HERE AS muraco MATCHES flair step for step and dirty rick for dirty trick!
MURACO hits the tombstone late but FLAIR is too close to the rope and FLAIR gets his leg on the rope and barely survives the pin atempt!
FLAIR gets the figure four on and after several tense moments MURACO gets a reverse and FLAIR breaks it by grabbing the ropes!
As MURACO ptrotests ,FLAIR schoolboys DON ad with the help of holding onto the ropes FLAIR gets a tainted pinfall to retain as MURACO protests!
MAIN EVENT
NWA WORLD HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPIONSHIP
UNDERTAKER vs RICK RUDE w/ PERCY PRINGLE
THIS is one helluva match and really tests the champ!
RUDE has looked the best he ever has and looks like he may just win the world title!
RUDE eventually after some back and forth exchanges hits the rude awakening and does his grind over a fallen TAKER before attempting the pin!
This gives TAKER the extra few seconds he needs and he kicks out!
RUDE is shocked and PERCY throws a fit and TAKER then hits his tombstone on RUIDE and gets the pin to retain the world title!
As the crowd pops,PERCY hits TAKER from behind to no effect at all!
TAKER grabs PERCY and goes for a tombstone but a recovered RUDE breaks it up!
TAJER is tehn fighting RUDE and dealing with PERCY as the crowd pops huge as DUSTY RHODES runs in to help the champ and clear the ring as he hits some bionic elbows and they clear the ring!
TAKER and DUSTY shake hands and TAKER grabs his title abd heads to the back!
DUSTY is soaking up the cheers of the crwod when out of nowhere he is attacked by BRUISER BRODY!
BRODY destroys DUSTY before opening him upm with a chair!'
He then hits a bloody DUSTY with a flying knee before hussing at the crowd and leaving the ring!
