ROAD TO OUTRAGE - NIGHT 2 Aichi Prefectural Gymnasium, Aichi
_________________
1. Taiji Ishimori (2-2) vs David Finlay (1-1) - Young Lion Tournament
(These 2 men put on a show. Finlay hits a Cutter out on the floor. But by the time he got Ishimori into the ring he had recovered enough to kick out just before 3. In the end it was Ishimori hitting Bloody Cross (Lifting single underhook double knee gutbuster) that got him the pinfall victory. As he moves on to Round 2.)
Winner: Taiji Ishimori 3-2
2. Onna-Musha vs Azumi, Starlight Kid, Ayako Hamada & Konami
Onna Musha have really been dominant since forming. Even with Kris Wolf leaving for Gladiator Underground they are still an imprssive unit. Things eventually break down and Azumi is alone in the ring with Hana Kimura. Hana is trying to give her a Superplex but Azumi fights her off with a series of elbows causing Kimura to fall into the ring. Azumi nails a Tornado DDT. She covers for a near fall. She goes up for High Cross Body but but Kimura does a Matrix escape. Azumi lands hard and Hana locks in the Kamagatame (Indian deathlock). The rest keep her partners from helping and Azumi has to finally tap out.)
Winner: Hana Kimura 4-2
3. BxB HULK & CIMA (0-1) vs The Eliminators (3-1)
(Since reforming their team CIMA and HULK just haven't fully clicked yet. They have their moments but The Eliminators work as a well oiled machine. HULK falls to Total Elimination.)
Winners: The Eliminators 4-1
4. Bullet Club vs Flip Gordon, Yoshi Tatsu, Keni'Chiro Arai, Daisuke Sekimoto & Yuji Nagata
(This is the first time the entire Bullet Club Japan Chapter have wrstled together. Tama Tonga is the ring general mfor sure. Of course we get a lovely Pieter dance center ring before the match. Which everyone enjoys except for Nagata who again tries to cover her up with his jacket. Some of the fans actually boo Yuji for this. The match is a wild brawl with Nagata really taking it to everyone. Whenever he gets near Takahashi he takes off. Sekimoto is also impressive with displays of power against Tanga Roa. But it's Chase Owens who ends it after hittingf the CO2 (Slingshot Codebreaker) on Arai.)
Winner: Chase Owens 2-3
5. YAMATO (4-1) vs Kaz Hayashi (0-1)
(Kaz has his moments but this an angry and focused YAMATO who finishes Kaz with the CBV - Crossbone Vanguard (Crossface). Hayashi taps.)
Winner: YAMATO 5-1
6. Io Shirai (6-0) vs Raquel (1-1) - Non-Title Match
(Io is still listed as undefeated in RSW competition but she has tasted defat in a World Championship opportunity with Molly Holly. She has the Elimination Chamber Match at the Hippopotamus II coming and then win or lose a shot at Molly at Outrage. Raquel is looking to make a name for herself tonight by beating the Champ even if the title isnt on the line.
Raquel has Kiera Hogan ringside with her. They try their best to use underhanded tactics to steal a victory but Io is ready for it. She catches Hogan with an Asai Moonsault to take her out. Then Raquel goes for a brainbustee but IO escapes and his the Suplex De Io (Bridging package German Suplex). 1.. 2.. 3!)
Winner: Io Shirai 7-0
Main Event: Kamaitachi (4-1) vs Noam Dar (2-2) w/ Alicia Fox - RSW Junior Heavyweight Championship
Mio Shirai is not here tonight as she is preparing for the Outrage show. That may not be such a good thing for Dar. Kamaitachi can at times become erratic which makes him even more dangerous. At one point in the match he sends Noam to the floor and he begins ranting at a petrified Alicia. This allows Dar to hit a running knee to the back that sends Kamaitachi into the ringpost. Dar rolls him in as Alicia is jumping excitedly. He hits a Fisherman Buster and goes up top. He goes for a Frog Splash... but Kamaitachi gets his knees up. The champion grabs Dar and hits Time Bomb (Fireman's carry swung into a high-angle sitout side powerslam). Then he locks in D (Triangle Choke) Alicia is pleading but Dar can't escape and must finally give in.)
Winner & Still Champion: Kamaitachi 5-1 | |
