The show opens with LANCE RUSSELL joined already by THE FIRST FAMILY-USWA HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPION-RICK RUDE ,JIMMY "SUPERFLY" SNUKA and manager JIMMY HART!
LANCE announces and reminds everyone that the USWA SUMMER SIZZLER TOUR is this Saturday at NEYLAND STADIUM!
LANCE then reveals to everyone that the main event will be an IWA WORLD HEAVYWEIGHT TITLE match where the world champ,currently DUSTY RHODES, will defend against RICK RUDE!
HART cuts a promo stating that they dont give a damn who the word champ is at that time and that RUDE will beat whomever it is!
RUDE reminds everyone that he is currently in the numer one contender tourney and kicking everyone's as ,including that loud mouth,drunkard STONE COLE STEVE AUSTIN,but when he wins the world title this saturday that hell take on the second best guy from that tournament!
HART then starts talking about how much ass SNUKA has been doing lately all over the IWA and wants to keep it going right here in the USWA!!
1ST MATCH- OLE ANDERSON vs BILLY JOE TRAVIS
OLE works over and wears down the right arm/shoulder of BJT and ends up winning with a shoulder lock submission!
As OLE is interviewed by LANCE,he is interrupted by USWA TV Champion-MASKED SUPERSTAR!
MS complains as to how OLE got a world title shot at DUSTY and he(OLE) doesn't even hold a title himself!
MS calls DUSTY a coward and OLE a washed up old man!
Both guys go nose to nose but before anything gets out of hand,USWA Owner-JERRY JARRETT comes out and on the spot he makes a match for Saturday's SIZZLER show wher MASKED SUPERSTAR will defend his TV Title against OLE ANDERSON so they can settle it in the ring...like real men!
2ND MATCH- GREG VALENTINE vs MASKED INTERN
INTERN'S luck is no better today as once again,as in every week he's on tv, he puts up little offense and GREG works over the masked man's leg,and uses some head ringing elbow smashes ,to eventually get a submission win with the figure four leglock!
EDDIE GILBERT is out next and complains to LANCE how he is the hottest commodity in the USWA...how he ran the so called king of memphis outta the territory as soon as he came her, and yet he(GILBERT) isn't even booked on the SIZZLER show!!
Once again this brings out JARRETT who ,kinda mockingly, tells EDDIE he hasn't been here very long and there are only so many spots on the show....but JARRETT says he's in a giving mood and says he'll book GILBERT for the SIZZLER show.....in the first match...against the...MASKED INTERN!!
The crowd bursts out in laughter as JARRETT leaves and GILBERT throws a fit!!
3RD MATCH-USWA TAG TEAM CHAMPIONS -THE SHEEPHERDERS w/ flag bearer JOHNNY ACE vs THE BATTEN TWINS in a non title match!
A usual brutal display here as the HERDERS dominate and the BATTENS just can't match the aggression or brutality and fall to the champs as BUTCH pins BRAD!
The champs are intvd by LANCE as ACE stands behind them waving the New Zealand flag!
The HERDERS talk about how just after a small taste of the SHEEPHERDERS that the SECOND GENERATION ELITE have dishonered their family name and legacy by quitting the USWA!
They also talk about their upcoming world tag team title shot and how they are gonna butcher those two fat tubs of shit and become double champs!
They ,also, talk about the lack of tag team competition here and how no one can match up with them,when they are also interrupted by....BUZZ SAWYER and KEVIN SULLIIVAN!!
TENSION is super high as SULLY calls out these cowards and tells them to put their money where their mouths are and face the DEVIL'S DUO at SUMMER SIZZLER and put those belts up!!
HERDERS are a bit shocked by this challenge but agree as SULLY and a maniacally laughing SAWYER take their leave!
4TH MATCH- RICK STEAMBOAT/JYD vs THE NIGHTMARES
A really good back and forth match that eventually ends as STEAMBOAT hits a flying cross body block off the top rope to pin NIGHTMARE # 1
5TH MATCH- AUSTIN IDOL vs PAT ROSE
ROSE uses his usual underhanded tactics to gain advantage but IDOL overpowers him eventually and puts him in the Las Vegas leglock and gets a submission win!
After IDOL has his hand raised,on the outside of the ring, SIR OLIVER HUMPERDINK distracts IDOL with some bad mouth and as IDOL'S attention is elsewhere he is attacked from behind by...CACTUS JACK!
IDOL is unable to defend himself as SOH encourages this destruction !
CACTUS tosses IDOL over the top rope and onto the concrete floor!
CACTUS then delivers an elbow drop to him from the ring apron which hurts IDOL!
As the crazy CACTUS JACK and the very happy SOH leave to the dressing room,AUSTIN IDOL is helped to the back!

MASKED SUPERSTAR(C) vs PAT PATTERSON!
PATTERSON gives the champ some tense moments but MS eventually clamps on the dragon sleeper and gets the win!
After the match,OLE ANDERSON enters the ring and him and the champ get into a shoving match and have to be seperated!
LANCE RUSSELL then runs down the SUMMER SIZZLER TOUR SHOW as an on screen graphic showcases the event!
