LANCE RUSSELL welcomes the fans to todays program!
He runs down today's show and announces the main event as USWA TV champion-MASKED SUPERSTAR defends against the Boogie Woogie Man himself,JIMMY VALIANT!
He talks about the fed wide SURVIVOR SERIES being held on April 23 at Fords field and how USWA is well represented...including his next guests...the newly crowned USWA Tag Team Champions...THE SHEEPHERDERS!!
The audience boos as Luke and Butch make their way out !
They are accompanied by their ever present flag bearer JOHNNY ACE who stands behind them ,waving the New Zealand flag!
The HERDERS brag about winning the titles from those inferior american pretty boys-The FANTASTICS-and how easy it was!
They talk about the SURVIVOR SERIES and how their teammates just need to stay out of their damn way and just do as they're told!
They say that SS will prove what they've known all along...that the SHEEPHERDERS are the best team in the world!
1ST Match: KEVIN SULLIVAN vs DALE VEASEY
SULLY is his usual violent self as he just manhandles VEASEY!
SULLY mercifully ends it by pin fall after hitting a double stomp to the solar plexus from the top rope!
Afterwards SULLY cuts a quick promo stating that him and BUZZ have been way too quiet about how things are going down in the USWA and things are about to change!
2ND Match:DR.D DAVID SHULTZ vs BOB BRUGGERS
BRUGGERS is a damn tough guy but the good ol' doctor is tougher and gets a pin after hitting a top rope fist drop!
LANCE next brings out the USWA Heavyweight Champion-RAVISHING RICK RUDE and his manager-MOUTH of THE SOUTH JIMMY HART!
RUDE starts talking about SURVIVOR SERIES and how he is going to be the sole survivor when the crowd pops as MACH MAN RANDY SAVAGE interrupts!
SAVAGE gets in RUDE's face and tells him he needs to concentrate on defending his title than worrying about surviving!
RUDE tells SAVAGE that if he doesn't like it,then do something about it!
SAVAGE complies and the brawl begins!
They fight to the ring and SAVAGE is getting the best of RUDE when HART frantically motions to someone in the back!
The crowd is shocked as in runs JIMMY SUPERFLY SNUKA!!
SNUKA attacks SAVAGE viciously as RUDE recovers!
RUDE hits SAVAGE with a Rude Awakening and then SUPERFLY clims to the top rope and hits SAVAGE with his famous Superfly Splash!
As SNUKA went to hit it a second time,AUSTIN IDOL,JIMMY VALIANT and SHANE DOUGLAS run in before any more damage can be done!
As they tend to the injured SAVAGE,RUDE,SNUKA and HART all leave together!
3RD Match:THE FANTASTICS vs THE NIGHTMARES
THE FANTASTICS seem a little more aggresive than usual as they tear in o the masked men !
They end this match as ROGERS hits a russian leg sweep and float over for the win!
THE FANTASTICS cut a promo on the SHEEPHERDERS reminding them that they aren't finished with them and to remember they had a return match clause that they are going to cash in soon!
The camera then pans the crowd and stops at a fan who is holding a sign that says:THE KING IS COMING HOME!!
4TH Match: TERRY FUNK vs GENE LIGON
Actually a fairly scientific match up as FUNK reminds people that he can work this style when he wants to!
FUNK wins with an abdominal stretch turned into a side slide and pin fall!
5TH Match: GREG VALENTINE vs PETE SANCHEZ
VALENTINE was his usual methodical self as he wears down his opponent and eventually putting the figure four and gettingb the submission for the win!
Of note in this match up is during it SIR OLIVER HUMPERDINK came down to the ring to observe the match!
MAIN EVENT
USWA TV TITLE MATCH
MASKED SUPERSTAR (C) vs JIMMY VALIANT
The match starts out with JIMMY using his odd tactics and style to frustrate the champ who leaves the ring several times to gather himself!
SUPERSTAR ,through some vile and underhanded tactics,eventually gets the advantage and catches VALIANT in the Cobra Sleeper which VALIANT which makes him pass out and lose the match!
Winner and still TV Champion---MASKED SUPERSTAR!
