Taped at the WMC-TV 5 Studios in Memphis and televised on ESPNPLUS
LANCE RUSSELL welcomes the fans and runs down info concerning the upcoming NWA World Tour taking plave in Glasgow, Scotland at the end of June and gives info pertaining the USWA Great American Bash Tour!
LANCE then conducts and interview with JIM CORNETTE and the USWA Tag Team Champions- the MIDNIGHT EXPRESS!
CORNETTE rants about the EBONY EXPERIENCE and them showing up outta nowhere and sticking their nose in the MX'S business!
CORNETTES warns them what will happen and warns the NWA World Tag Team Champs-THE BRITISH BULLDOGS, that the MX hasnt forgot about them!
1st Match: HHH vs CHIC DONOVAN
HHH definitely aint getting paid by the hour here as he jumps DONOVAN from behind behind and continues the onslaught for several minutes before hitting the Pedigree and getting the pin! DONOVAN never even had the chance to remove his ring hacket!
HHH then talks to RUSSELL and says that its official that he will face USWA TV Champion- NARRY WINDHAM at the GAB and he will become the new tv champ!
2nd Match: KEN SHAMROCK vs GEORGE SOUTH
A competitive start to the match but SHAMROCK eventually takes control with his mma skills and eventually gets a submission win with an ankle lock!
CHRIS ADAMS is then brought out and tells LANCE a bit of the background between him and STEVE AUSTIN, in fact, letting everyone know that hje discovered and trained him ! He starts to discuss the recent issues between the two and also the problems with BUDDY ROGERS and JIMMYN SNUKA!
This ofc brings out ROGERS who gets into a verbal confrontation with ADANS who is jumped from behind by SNUKA! As they start to beat down ADANS, the fans pop as STONE COLDE STEVE AUSTIN runs out and makes the save!
3rd Match: The BOLSHEVICKS w/ JIMMY HART and IVAN KOLOFF vs SD JONES/DENNY BROWN
The RUSSIAN ate a solid and very devious team here and their teamwork is damn good! And although not needed, IVAN KOLOFF interferes quite a bit!Eventually after ZUCKOV stuns BROWN with a big headbut, he tags in NIKOLAI who picks up BROWN nad slams him across his knee and gets the pin!
Afterwards, JIMMY HART and the entire Russian group, including USWA Heavyweight Champion-NIKITA KOLOFF, send out warnings to not onkly the NWA World Champion= LEX LUGER but also to ALL the world champs as they claim that they are taking over the NWA!
4th Match: BUZZ SAWYER vs BARRY HOROWITZ
Poor BARRY gets mauled, mangled and destroyed hgere as BUZZ lives up to his Mad Dog persona before ending things withj a powerslam and pin!
Up next is supposed to be an interview segment with PAUL ORNDORFF but before it even gets started ,he is interuppted by EDDIE GILBERT/ JERRY LAW;LER! But before anything can happen, KEN SHAMROCK comes out to even the odds and GILBERT and LAWLER retreat!
5th Match: National Tag Team Champs- THE TEXAS OUTLAWS( HANSEN/FUNK) vs THE COLE TWINS in a non title match!
The OUTLAWS are extra mean and nasty here and pummel the twins in and out of the ring before HANSEN ends it by damn near taking off KEITH COLE'S head with the lariat before getting a pin! Aterwards the champs continue the beatdown on the hapless twins for several minutes until out run BOB/BRAD ARMSTRONG who fight the OUTLAWS in the ring and eventually clear the ring of the champs!
LANCE gets an interview from them where BOB and BRAD say that the champs may be big and nasty but the RAMSTRONGS have faced teams meaner and nastier than them and in Glasgow ,they are gonna shock the NWA and win those National tag titles!
Up next LANCE brings out NWA World TV Champion- ? ROWDY? RODDY PIPER ,who comes out with his bagpipes!
PIPER rants about that sneaky attack by TAZ and wonders just what the hell he is doing here!! He then reminds everyone of how the NWA BOG has an agenda against him and although he is getting challengers coming after him from all corners of the wrld, that he keeps knocking them off ! He also denies the accusations of him using chains to hit his opponents with!
He then talks about going back home in front of his people is Glasgow and how he is going to give that fake scottsman DREW MCINTYIRE a lesson on what a real champion is and how DREW isnt anywhere near PIPER'S league!
PIPER then is asked about his bagpipes and tells LANCE that he is in a giving mood and is going to treat the fans here and those watching all ove r the world with some true scottish music!
As PIPER plays, the boos ring out louder and louder but all this does is make the smirking champ play even more and PIPER even starts to dance around a bit as he is playing!
But PIPER is too concerned with the crowd and as he is playing ,ge turns to his left and BOOOOOOM!! He is hit with a brouge kick and is layed out!
DREW looks down at the fallen champ and then commences to destroying PIPER'S bagpipes! This attack actually silences the studio audience who seem stunned!
DREW throws down whats left of the bag pipes and then rips off PIPER'S kilt and grabs the World TV Tile off LANCE'S desk!
DREW slaps PIPERS face a few times then stradles over the prone PIPER ,holding PIPER'S kilt in one hand and the NWA World TV Title in the other hand ,high over his head !
