HUGE pyro explodes from the stage and entranceway as 20,000 strong in the T Mobile Arena on the Las Vegas Strip are on their feet …. Joey Styles joins us ringside as VEGAS … IS … ALL ELITE!!

he show opens up with the arrival of the AEW tag team champions THE OUTSIDERS (Hall & Nash) along with X-PAC …. It is time for the N.W.O summit …. NASH takes the mic and calls out HBK & HHH because they haven’t heard from them since WAR GAMES ….

This brings out AEW champion SHAWN MICHAELS next, followed by HHH with a separate entrance …. HBK says that the N.W.O didn’t have his back …. If not for them botching their part, he would have won the match …. Let’s make one thing perfectly clear: HBK is the leader of this little ‘band’ and they are all supporting characters!  This is clearly pissing HALL & NASH off and NASH gets in HBK’s face …. HBK doesn’t back down, but HHH tries to step in and play peacemaker …. HBK tells NASH that he’s either with him or against him … NASH says ‘Fine’ and goes to leave, then tells HBK good luck holding on to that title without them …. HBK is seething and the longer he stands there the madder he gets …. HHH actually sticks around, but just when it looks like HBK and HHH are together, MICHAELS snaps and lays HHH out with SWEET CHIN MUSIC!!!!  HBK leaves the ring and walks to the back on his own …. Have we seen the last of the N.W.O????  HBK defends the AEW title against THE ROCK next week!!!!


IN THE BACK -

QUINN MCKAY confront HBK as he comes through the curtain to gorilla position …. QUINN asks him about what just happened and HBK is pissed …. He has always been a little bit of a maverick and a hothead, but he doesn’t care …. The N.W.O got to where they are in this business because HBK carried them there …. They all owe him, and he doesn’t need them, they need HIM!  HBK says that he is better off on his own, and SHAWN MICHAELS on his own is very, very dangerous ….

HBK is cut off as ADAM PAGE interrupts …. HBK rolls his eyes as if to say ‘Oh for fucks sake’ at PAGE interrupting him again …. PAGE talks about what happened at AEW #40 and says he is creeping up on HBK’s ass …. HBK tells him he will never be on his level, and this leads to PAGE challenging him to a match tonight …. PAGE doesn’t even want a title match, he just wants a match because if HBK won’t respect him then PAGE will MAKE him respect him in the ring!  PAGE finishes the sentence with “If you’ve got the balls …” which pisses HBK off even more!  HBK says he has fucking huge balls …. He says PAGE keeps showing up at the wrong place at the wrong time looking to get a rub from HBK …. But he just picked the wrong place and time tonight!  HBK isn’t in the mood for his shit, so he’s gonna kick his ass tonight!!


MATCH 1: KURT ANGLE vs. FABIAN AICHNER ———— Singles Match

With WALTER watching on, ANGLE and AICHNER put on a great wrestling match with ANGLE forcing AICHNER to submit to the ankle lock ….

POST MATCH: WALTER enters the ring and orders AICHNER to shake ANGLE’s hand …. ANGLE is hesitant and backs away, which angers BARTHEL and he challenges ANGLE to fight him instead because they tried to show him respect and ANGLE declined …. ANGLE walks off with IMPERIUM still in the ring ….


IN THE BACK -

QUINN interviews the new AEW Womens champion, TESSA BLANCHARD …. TESSA puts herself over for beating CHARLOTTE, but she is interrupted by her former ally RONDA ROUSEY!  RONDA says she helped TESSA destroy the HORSEWOMEN, but their partnership is over …. now TESSA has the title so ROUSEY wants the shot …. TESSA tries to make excuses but then finally agrees to fight ROUSEY ….


MATCH 2: ‘Dr. Death’ STEVE WILLIAMS vs. HUGH MORRIS ———— Singles Match

The announcers put over all of DOC’s amateur accomplishments including his football and wrestling career, then talk about how he was the last Kentucky champion in BGR before it shut down …. They put him over as a total badass here …. When the bell rings, he backs up their claims by dominating MORRIS, finishing him off with the Doctor Bomb for the 3 count  in about 4 minutes …. DOC is very no-nonsense here, and shows up, kicks ass, then leaves ….


IN THE BACK -

CM PUNK talks about his absolute show-stealing WAR with JON MOXLEY inside the steel cage at WRESTLE KINGDOM …. PUNK puts MOXLEY over as the toughest person he has ever faced …. But now that’s behind him so he can refocus on being the AEW champion ….

PUNK is interrupted by PAUL HEYMAN!  HEYMAN is in full kiss-ass mode as e basically begs PUNK to take him back as his manager …. He says he forgives PUNK for busting him open at WRESTLE KINGDOM, and the 10 stitches in his head gave him a moment of clarity …. Every time he winces in pain from the stitches he is reminded of the mistake he made …. He puts PUNK over as the reigning, defending UWF world champion and if PUNK takes him back he will take him to new heights and the IWA world title!  It rightfully belongs to PUNK!  PUNK says he will be the IWA champion, but without HEYMAN!  He tells HEYMAN to get lost and get out of his life ….


Up next, we get an in-ring segment with AEW TNT champion ‘The Machine’ BRIAN CAGE …. We see a recap of the CAGE/ MJF ‘I Quit’ match from WRESTLE KINGDOM where MJF was able to make CAGE quit by threatening to break his wife, MELISSA SANTOS’ arm …. SANTOS is out with CAGE and she calls MJF a slimy, chickenshit heel for what he did to her …. CAGE takes the mic says that some things are more important than wrestling and titles …. He did what he did to save SANTOS, but now MJF has made the ultimate mistake and CAGE is going to come after him harder than ever!!!!

THE LIGHTS GO OUT!!!!

THE KINGS OF THE BLACK THRONE make their entrance!!!!  BRODY KING made his debut, joining MALAKAI BLACK at AEW #40 to take out AJ STYLES …. CAGE doesn’t wait for them to attack, and he attacks them instead!  CAGE actually holds his own in fighting off both men, but falls victim to the Black Mass!  KING goes under the ring and gets a cinder block, putting it on CAGES knee and MALAKAI stomps it as MELISSA SANTOS screams in horror!!!!  SANTOS gets right in BLACK’s face …. AND SLAPS HIM ACROSS THE FACE!!!!  BLACK smiles …. BLACK MIST IN SANTOS’ EYES!!!!  CAGE is trying to claw his way to BLaCK, but can’t stand!  KING picks CAGE up and he and BLACK hit Dante’s Inferno!!!!  BLACK isn’t done there, as he locks CAGE in the Dark Ritual (modified dragon sleeper) and chokes him unconscious!!!!  AEW officials come out and try to restore order, getting the KINGS OF THE BLACK THRONE to leave the ring as they tend to SANTOS and CAGE!


MATCH 3: ‘Heartbreak Kid’ SHAWN MICHAELS vs. ‘Hangman’ ADAM PAGE ———— non-title Match

HBK is fired up for this one and he attacks PAGE at the bell …. HBK dominates, then starts to mock PAGE telling him he’s not on his level and calling him a ‘greenhorn’ …. This fires up PAGE and he comes back with a big Lariat and then we reset …. PAGE goes on the offensive and does a cactus clothesline that takes both men to the floor, then PAGE scores with the triangle moonsault!  Back in the ring, HBK comes back with a flying forearm and a kip up …. He goes up top but PAGE recovers and runs up the ropes TO HIT A MOONSAULT FALLAWAY SLAM!!!!  HOLY SHIT chants from the crowd!  Both men are down as the ref puts on the 10 count, but PAGE kips up at 8!  PAGE up top, but HBK is up and stops him, slamming him to the mat!  HBK up top and hits the top rope elbow!!!!  HBK tunes up the band for Sweet Chin Music .… BLOCKED! PAGE scoops him up …. DEADEYE!!!!  1 … 2 … 2.999999!!!!  HBK kicks out!!!!  Holy Shit!  PAGE goes to the apron to finish it …. slingshots in with the Buckshot Lariat …. HE’S CUT OFF WITH SWEET CHIN MUSIC OUT OF NOWHERE!!!!  UNBELIEVABLE!!!!  HBK falls on top … 1 … 2 … 3!!!!

My God what a classic!  HBK has survived as ADAM PAGE gave him all he could handle …. HBK rolls out of the ring and grabs the title, stopping to look back at ADAM PAGE in the ring …. HBK knows that he has just been through a war …. It’s HBK vs. THE ROCK for the AEW title next week!!!!


We get another vignette that says ‘COMING SOON’ …. Similar to the one that played at WRESTLE KINGDOM ….



MATCH 4: TESSA BLANCHARD vs. RONDA ROUSEY ———— AEW Womens Title Match

These two had a partnership forged for one reason: getting rid of the HORSEWOMEN.  They succeeded as BAYLEY is no longer in AEW, and TESSA beat CHARLOTTE for the AEW women’s title at WAR GAMES …. ROUSEY attacks TESSA with strikes and drives her back, but TESSA rebounds with a swinging neckbreaker …. TESSA works the back of ROUSEY briefly, but ROUSEY hits the Piper’s Pit for a near fall …. ROUSEY goes for the arm lock, but TESSA makes the ropes …. TESSA comes back and hits the Magnum for a close near fall, but as she goes for the Buzzsaw CHARLOTTE hits the ring and attacks both women!  The ref calls for the bell!!!!

POST MATCH:  CHARLOTTE with a chair and smashes both TESSA and ROUSEY, but then she puts ROUSEY’s leg in a chair and pillman-izes it by smashes it with another chair!!!!  ROUSEY screams in pain and EMT’s and trainers quickly come out and tend to ROUSEY to sell the severity of the injury.  This allows TESSA to escape the chair from CHARLOTTE and she grabs the womens title and escapes ….  




In the final in-ring segment of the night, we welcome the BRAND NEW IWA World Television Champion, ‘American Dragon’ BRYAN DANIELSON to the ring ….


DANIELSON comes out and demands that the ring announcer announce him as the ‘Best Wrestler in the World’ …. He talks about beating JUNGLE BOY at WRESTLE KINGDOM and says that was the safest bet anyone could make …. DANIELSON says he is the complete wrestler and no one can touch him …. He has beaten top star after top star, and he lists them off: OWEN HART, CESARO, KURT ANGLE, BOB ARMSTRONG, KAZUCHIKA OKADA, JUNGLE BOY … He is so complete that he has finishes each of those men in different ways …. Ref stoppage, Cattle Mutilation, Labell Lock …. It doesn’t matter he can beat you any way he wants …. He says he is going to enjoy his WRESTLE KINGDOM victory, but next week he is issuing an open challenge to anyone to step up and face him for HIS Television title.  Because, in the hands of the American Dragon, the TV title has now become the most important title in the entire IWA!  


IN THE BACK -

We see HALL & NASH leaving the building along with X-PAC …. QUINN MCKAY is chasing them down ….

QUINN – “Guys … guys.  Where are you going?”

NASH – “We are going back to the hotel before I KILL SHAWN MICHAELS.  I swear, we carried that guy.  Protected him.  And he spits in our faces.  Hey QUINN, why don’t you stop by later …”

NASH winks at QUINN, who blushes …. THE OUTSIDERS turn and keep walking away ….

QUINN:  “But wait, guys!  What about your match?’  

HALL – “What match?”  

QUINN – “You guys are supposed to defend the AEW tag team titles.  And that match is coming up next!”

NASH – “What?  Against Who?  We aren’t even dressed to wrestle.”  

QUINN – “I don’t know, you will have to go to the ring and find out.  That’s all I know.”

HALL – “Hey PAC, go warm up the car will ya?  We are gonna go handle this.  Shouldn’t be long ….”

HALL & NASH head back into the arena  ….


HALL & NASH come back into the arena without any music and head straight for the ring.  They are obviously irritated.  NASH wants their opponents to come out here so we can get this over with …. ‘Welcome to the Jungle’ by Guns N Roses hits and out comes RICK and SCOTT STEINER!  It’s gonna be the OUTSIDERS vs. THE STEINERS!  BUUUUUUUT …. ‘Gimme Back My Bullets’ by Lynard Skynard hits and out comes THE BRISCOES!  It’s going to be a 3 Way Dance!
 
THE BRISCOES enter the ring and are jawing with both THE STEINERS and THE OUTSIDERS …. ‘SAY YEEEEEEAHH!’ …. Out comes THE REVIVAL!!!!  It’s a Fatal 4 way!!!!


MATCH 5: THE OUTSIDERS (Scott Hall & Kevin Nash) vs. THE STEINERS (Rick & Scott) vs. THE BRISCOES (Mark & Jay) vs. THE REVIVAL (Dax Hardwood & Cash Wheeler) ———— AEW Tag Team Titles

All 4 teams are in the ring now, and the bell rings and they all start going at it!  IT’S AN 8 MAN BRAWL AND WE ARE OUT OF TIME!!!! ….


The show goes off the air with all 8 men brawling in the ring and outside as it is pure chaos here!!!!  We will see you next week!!!!
