VIGNETTE:

The show starts with a vignette showing the construction of the WAR GAMES cage …. ‘The End is Here’ song plays as it shows people welding the steel in place to make the cage and unrolling the chain link ….

We then cut to highlights of the ongoing feud between the N.W.O and the Samoan BLOODLINE faction that has led to this match ….


HUGE pyro explodes from the stage and entranceway as 10,000 strong are on their feet in the AEW ‘Asylum’ in Southern California …. Joey Styles and Pat McAfee join us ringside as LOS ANGELES … IS … ALL ELITE!


JOEY STYLES & PAT McAFEE hype what happened last week, and DANA WHITE making the WAR GAMES match official ….


DANA WHITE is out to start the show …. He puts over the first ever WAR GAMES match in IWA and then he brings out the two teams that will meet inside the 2 ring cage …. Out comes the N.W.O and the BLOODLINE …. They both discuss the high stakes of the match:  If the N.W.O wins, the BLOODLINE is no more, but if the BLOODLINE wins, ROCK gets an AEW title shot at the biggest stage of them all …. WRESTLE KINGDOM!  Both sides know what they are getting themselves into here, and tonight we are going to have a member of the N.W.O vs. a member of the BLOODLINE in a ladder match to determine who has the man advantage in the WARGAMES match itself ….

*** MATCH 1: RICK & SCOTT STEINER vs. NEW DAY (Xavier Woods & Big E)*** …. THE STEINERS win the match when SCOTT makes WOODS submit to the Steiner Recliner

BRYAN DANIELSON IN-RING …. He says at Day 12 of the ’12 Days of Christmas’ show, JUNGLE BOY took advantage of him and that shows everyone what kind of champion he really is …. DANIELSON says he was bleeding and just wrestled 20+ minutes, and JUNGLE BOY chose that moment to attack him …. JB is a coward and took the easy way out …. DANIELSON says he will destroy JUNGLE BOY in 3 weeks at Wrestle Kingdom …. DANIELSON is cut off by the music of KAZUCHIKA OKADA!!!!  OKADA comes out to the ring and challenges DANIELSON to face him at WARGAMES!!!!  DANIELSON says that if JUNGLE BOY is going to wrestle every week until Wrestle Kingdom, then DANIELSON is too!  He accepts!  

*** MATCH 2: ASUKA vs. DAKOTA KAI *** …. ASUKA wins via submission with the Asuka Lock (Crossface Chickenwing)…. POST MATCH:  IO SHIRAI comes out and her and ASUKA scream at each other in Japanese …. Here comes RHEA RIPLEY and she says that she will fight both of them at WAR GAMES


Up next, TNT champion ‘The Machine’ BRIAN CAGE comes out in a neckbrace …. He cuts a promo about what MJF and WARDLOW did to him at the 12 Days of Christmas show, and he references where MJF told him to ‘Quit while he was ahead’ …. CAGE rips off his neckbrace and says that MJF gave him an idea, and he challenges MJF to make their match at Wrestle Kingdom an ‘I Quit’ match!!!!  CAGE says that he isn’t 100%, but he came here for a fight and he dares anyone to come out here and take the TNT title from him ….


*** MATCH 3: ‘The Machine’BRIAN CAGE vs. JOHN MORRISON ---- TNT TITLE MATCH *** …. This looks like a mistake early on as MORRISON takes advantage of CAGE’s bad neck ….CAGE takes a beating, but shows a lot of heart in battling back …. He traps MORRISON in a stretch muffler crab and gets the tap out win, sending a message to MJF ….

UP NEXT ---- KURT ANGLE comes out and cuts a promo on BRYAN DANIELSON …. No shame in losing to someone like DANIELSON, but we are not done here …. But ANGLE is focused on guys like AJ STYLES and MALAKAI BLACK because he is going to be in the Casino Battle Royal ….

WALTER’s music hits!!!! WALTER comes out with AICHNER and BARTHEL, but only WALTER enters the ring and gets nose to nose with ANGLE …. WALTER gives notice that he is also entered in the Casino Battle Royal and he is going to win because he is here to restore honor to the ‘sport’ of pro-wrestling …. BARTHEL and AICHNER are on the apron now, and ANGLE isn’t going to wait around to be attacked and he knocks BARTHEL & AICHNER off the apron …. BUT TURNS AROUND INTO A THUNDEROUS CHOP FROM WALTER THAT NEARLY CAVES IN HIS CHEST!!!!  ANGLE is down, and WALTER picks him up and drills him with a powerbomb …. WALTER yells at ANGLE that the mat is sacred as IMPERIUM stand tall over the fallen ANGLE ….


*** MATCH 4: SHAYNA BASZLER, RONDA ROUSEY & TESSA BLANCHARD vs. CHARLOTTE FLAIR, BAYLEY & SASHA BANKS ***…. ROUSEY, BLANCHARD & BASZLER pull off what many consider an upset in this banger of a match …. TESSA scores the win for her team by pinning CHARLOTTE with the Buzzsaw DDT ….


*** IN THE BACK ***

We are joined in progress of another PUNK/ MOXLEY fight …. This looks like it is never going to end …. DANA WHITE says he is getting tired of this and has both of them thrown out of the building …. WHITE says that this issue has to end between them and he will address it next week at WARGAMES ….


UP NEXT ---- ‘Hangman’ Adam Page comes out and he is wearing an eye patch due to being sprayed by the Black mist from MALAKAI BLACK at the 12 Days of Christmas show …. PAGE had a lot of success during the tour, and he is being talked about as the next breakout star in the IWA …. PAGE cuts off the question and says he only wants to talk about one thing: MALAKAI BLACK …. BLACK tried to blind him with the black mist, but it didn’t work …. Both of them are going to be in the casino battle royal, but that isn’t good enough …. He wants BLACK TONIGHT!  BLACK’s music hits and he appears in the ring and we get a brawl!!!!  BLACK gets the better of the brawl, but here comes AJ STYLES and he attacks BLACK!  BLACK also blinded AJ with the black mist when he debuted!  BLACK knocks AJ down, but PAGE sets him up for the Buckshot Lariat …. BLACK moves and PAGE takes out AJ instead!  BLACK escapes while PAGE looks on ….

*** IN THE BACK ***

Following this, we get a backstage segment where AJ confronts PAGE about getting hit with the errant Buckshot …. This ends with AJ and PAGE getting in a dust up in the locker room and having to be separated ….


THE ROCK is going to be the one that will represent THE BLOODLINE in the ladder match, while HHH will represent THE N.W.O

*** MATCH 5: LADDER MATCH: HHH vs. THE ROCK***  …. Pretty much everyone from both teams gets involved in this one and it is total chaos …. ROCK hits a Rock Bottom on HHH on a ladder, then he almost climbs up and gets the contract but NASH enters the ring and breaks it up …. REIGNS spears NASH, causing ROCK to fall from the ladder …. HBK enters and takes out ROCK with Sweet Chin Music, allowing HHH to climb up and retrieve the contract to earn the man advantage for the N.W.O in WARGAMES ….
