HIGHLIGHTS:

We get a recap of the events of AEW #34 ….

- ‘Hangman’ ADAM PAGE returned to AEW, defeating DAMIEN PRIEST following interference from CAMERON GRIMES
- SHAWN MICHAELS trolled THE ROCK by picking ROMAN REIGNS as his hand-picked opponent
- THE BAR attacked the STEINERS, resulting in a count-out loss to THE REVIVAL
- DANIEL BRYAN accepted the open challenge of BRIAN CAGE, only to be attacked by CODY RHODES, who then proceeded to quit AEW
- BROCK LESNAR made a shocking debut, laying out BRIAN CAGE after the F-5
- The surprises didn’t stop as AJ STYLES appeared following the main event, to stare down BOTH the N.W.O and THE BLOODLINE ….


HUGE pyro explodes from the stage and entranceway as 10,000 strong are on their feet in the AEW ‘Asylum’ in Southern California …. Joey Styles and Pat McAfee join us ringside as LOS ANGELES … IS … ALL ELITE!

ROMAN REIGNS comes out to the ring without the rest of the BLOODLINE …. REIGNS calls HBK a coward for getting himself disqualified last week to keep his title …. He wants a rematch …. Out come the N.W.O and HBK says REIGNS should be thanking him because HBK picked him up out of the mid-card and, for one night, elevated him to main event status …. Too bad he can’t stay there because THE ROCK tries to hog all the spotlight. REIGNS takes on the entire N.W.O on his own, but gets laid out …. THE ROCK and the USOS hit the ring to make the save …. THE ROCK gets on the mic and challenges the N.W.O to fight all of them tonight!


BAYLEY def. TESSA BLANCHARD by DQ …. this is a result of BAYLEY and SASHA siding with CHARLOTTE …. However, it is a trap as TESSA reveals that she has a NEW alliance with SHAYNA BASZLER and RONDA ROUSEY!!!! ROUSEY, BASZLER and TESSA end up beating the shit out of BAYLEY, and SASHA and CHARLOTTE run down to make the save but they all end up getting beat down …. TESSA unfolds a chair and sits it on CHARLOTTE’s throat, trapping her …. TESSA challenges her to put the womens title on the line against her!


IN THE BACK:

JON MOXLEY and PAUL HEYMAN arrive at the building but MOXLEY is attacked in the parking lot by CM PUNK!!!! PUNK has a dog chain and he ties it around the neck of MOXLEY and then ties it to the bumper of his car!!!! PUNK gets in and revs the engines, but here come an army of security to stop him and HEYMAN takes the chain off of MOXLEY’s neck!

MOXLEY stumbles clear of the car and HEYMAN tries to help him stand as they attempt to escape back into the arena! PUNK pushes his way past security and pursues them, running MOXLEY down on the ramp as the fans are going NUTS! PUNK grabs HEYMAN and tosses him off the ramp to the floor, then grabs a chair from a fan in the crowd and blasts MOXLEY across the back with it! He picks MOXLEY up and drills him with the GTS!!!! Security comes out and tries to pull PUNK away, but PUNK is a wild man and he breaks free again!!!! ANACONDA VICE TO MOXLEY!!!! There are like 5-6 people trying to pull PUNK off of MOXLEY and they can’t even do it! Finally PUNK is pulled off of MOXLEY, but PUNK grabs the chair and threatens the security with it as they try to shield MOXLEY from any more punishment ….

IN THE BACK:

PAUL HEYMAN is livid as he complains to DANA WHITE about CM PUNK. WHITE listens to his complaints but then says that MOXLEY is the one that started all this shit to begin with. HEYMAN says that PUNK is an animal and he is wielding a dog chain! WHITE says that is a great idea and he books a Dog Collar Match between PUNK and MOXLEY at BLACK FRIDAY!!!!


JAY & MARK BRISCOE def. THE REVIAL (Scott Dawson & Dash Wilder) (Springboard Spike Jay Driller)


Up next, BRIAN CAGE comes out to the ring and talks about the shocking debut of BROCK LESNAR last week …. He says BROCK is NOT the TNT champion! …. He issued an open challenge, but that challenge was accepted by DANIEL BRYAN and he pinned DANIEL BRYAN …. He demands BROCK come out and hand him the title ….

DANA WHITE comes out and says technically technically CAGE is right so he asks BROCK to come out and give back the title …. BROCK comes out to a huge pop and gets nose to nose with CAGE in the ring …. BROCK turns and hands the title back to DANA WHITE …. THEN SCOOPS CAGE ON HIS SHOULDERS AND LAYS HIM OUT WITH THE F-5!!!! BROCK leaves, but the crowd is once again chanting ‘One More Time! One More Time!’ so BROCK comes back to the ring and hits another F-5 on CAGE and stands tall to end the segment!!!!


8 Man Tag: THE N.W.O (Shawn Michaels, HHH, Scott Hall & Kevin Nash) def. THE BLOODLINE (The Rock, Roman Reigns, Jimmy & Jey Uso) (These two factions collide in a MEGA main event …. There are times when ROMAN REIGNS looks like the star of the match, but also times where we get THE ROCK and HBK one on one …. THE ROCK hits the People’s Elbow on HBK in the closing moments of the match, but X-PAC makes his return to AEW and takes the ROCK out with an X-Factor! REIGNS runs wild, taking out X-PAC with a superman punch and then spearing HHH through the barricade around the ring …. HBK grabs the AEW title and the ref doesn’t see it, then when REIGNS charges for the spear HBK clocks him with the title belt!!!! REIGNS is on dream street, and HBK follows it up with Sweet Chin Music for the 3 count!)

The N.W.O continues the attack after the match, and once again the show ends with them standing tall over the BLOODLINE ….


The show closes out with a hype promo going over all the matches coming up at IWA: BLACK FRIDAY

I expect big things from the Steiners. My biggest regret leaving the swarm was not getting the tag titles on them
