- The Samoan Bloodline confronted the N.W.O, leading to a tag match pitting ROMAN REIGNS & THE ROCK against HALL & NASH …. HBK interfered in the match, hitting Sweet Chin Music on THE ROCK …. The N.W.O proceeded to lay out THE BLOODLINE
- RICK & SCOTT STEINER as well as JAY & MARK BRISCOE made surprise AEW debuts
- TNT champion ‘The Machine’ BRIAN CAGE laid out an open challenge for anyone to face him this week
- Former IWA World Champion ASUKA returned to AEW, attacking RHEA RIPLEY as she attempted to injure IO SHIRAI …. This led to a tense faceoff with the former friends turned enemies ….
- DANIEL BRYAN def. CODY RHODES in a brutal 2/3 falls match in which both BRANDI RHODES and BRIE BELLA got involved …. HUGE pyro explodes from the stage and entranceway as 10,000 strong are on their feet in the AEW ‘Asylum’ in Southern California …. Joey Styles and Pat McAfee join us ringside as LOS ANGELES … IS … ALL ELITE!JOEY STYLES and PAT MCAFEE discuss what we will see tonight, on a show that is being dubbed ‘ALL STAR EXTRAVAGANZA’ …. DANA WHITE is in the ring and he has an important announcement about the AEW title ….We go up to the ring with DANA WHITE, and he talks about the numbers game that is going on between the N.W.O and the BLOODLINE …. He says tonight SHAWN MICHAELS will defend the AEW title against a member of the BLOODLINE, but HBK is the one that gets to ‘pick his poison’ ….
This brings out the N.W.O and MICHAELS calls WHITE a ‘nimrod’ and says he thinks he is real cute trying to paint the N.W.O into a corner …. But you know that when HBK is painted into a corner, he lashes out! HBK isn’t worried about the BLOODLINE, he wants to know what WHITE is doing to get him another world title shot because he is all about making RIC FLAIR’s life a living hell until he gets what he deserves and that is the World title! WHITE tells HBK that he is in the Elimination Chamber match on the BLACK FRIDAY show …. HBK says ‘Good, at least you can do one thing right.’ WHITE then tells HBK that THE ROCK is in that match too!
HBK is throwing a fit when ‘IF YA SMEEEEEEEEEELLLLLLLLL ….’ And the fans go crazy as out comes THE ROCK along with the BLOODLINE on top of the ramp …. ROCK calls out HBK and says if he has enough sugar in that sack of testicles he will go ONE … ON ONE … WITH THE GREAT ONE! HBK trolls the ROCK and says that he will defend the AEW title against ROMAN REIGNS instead! ROCK seems surprised by this, but REIGNS smiles ….
Back at the announce desk, MAURO and PAT hype up tonight’s main event, but they also talk about the news that leaked out on Twitter this past week that DANA WHITE promised an announcement of another HUGE signing by AEW …. This is referenced several more times during the show, indicating that the show is built around the reveal of this new signing ….JOHN MORRISON w/ ALEXANDER HAMMERSTONE vs. WALTERWALTER nearly caves in MORRISON’s chest with chops, but MORRISON keeps it interesting with his athletic offense …. MORRISON rocks WALTER with the Flying Chuck followed by the Starship Pain, only for WALTER to kick out …. WALTER ends up hitting the powerbomb followed by the top rope splash to get the pin on MORRISON …. VIDEO PACKAGE:
ASUKA/ IO SHIRAI promo … ASUKA says that she didn’t come out last week for IO, she came out to get RIPLEY …. IO talks about making mistakes in the past and getting her honor back …. Both women aren’t necessarily friends but both of them want a shot at RIPLEY ….DAMIEN PRIEST comes out to the ring and talks about living in infamy …. His name will live forever now because he took the best shot that an Olympic Gold Medalist could give, and if it wasn’t for CAMERON GRIMES he would have the victory …. He knows ANGLE is not here, so he will settle for anyone else in the back that wants to come out and fight ….
The crowd pops huge as ‘Hangman’ ADAM PAGE makes his return to AEW to accept the challenge!
’Hangman’ ADAM PAGE vs. DAMIEN PRIESTCAMERON GRIMES comes out looking for payback on PRIEST after PRIEST chokeslammed him through his merchandise table last week …. GRIMES distracts PRIEST, allowing PAGE to score out of nowhere with the Buckshot Lariat for the pin …. PROMO –

Something tells JAY that the people saying that are full of shit …. Out come THE STEINERS for a staredown! …. SCOTT says they came back to AEW because it has the best tag team wrestling in the IWA, not to get into a pissing contest with you two rednecks …. This brings out THE REVIVAL …. THE REVIVAL cry foul from last week and say it wasn’t fair because they prepared for THE BAR, not RICK & SCOTT …. They challenge THE STEINERS to a rematch tonight and say they will be ready …. JAY says THE BRISCOES will be watching ….
IN THE BACK:
We get an interview with ‘American Dragon’ DANIEL BRYAN …. What is next after his brutal feud with CODY RHODES that culminated in the 2/3 falls match last week? BRYAN says he is ready to move on, and he has his sights set on ‘BLACK FRIDAY’ and the qualifying match for the X-Division title …. He talks about MJF and says that he has a face that BRYAN would love to punch …. But that is in 2 weeks. He heard about BRIAN CAGE issuing an open challenge for the TNT title, and BRYAN is going to accept that challenge NEXT! ….BRIAN CAGE comes out for the open challenge for the TNT title, and DANIEL BRYAN’s music hits and the fans go nuts …. BRYAN makes his way out, but finds that his path is blocked by the surprise appearance of BRANDI RHODES! BRYAN is confused by this, but the distraction by BRANDI allows CODY RHODES to come from behind and smash BRYAN in the back with a chair!!!! CODY hits the Cross Rhodes on BRYAN on the floor! Now that the damage is done, CODY tosses a lifeless DANIEL BRYAN into the ring and walks off, not looking back …
Meanwhile, CAGE grabs the ref by the throat and orders him to ring the bell!
TNT title Match: (Champion) ‘The Machine’ BRIAN CAGE vs. ‘American Dragon’ DANIEL BRYANCAGE drags BRYAN to his feet and hits 3 consecutive power bombs!!!! BRYAN is dead at this point and CAGE pins him and orders the ref to make the 3 count …. POST MATCH: CAGE celebrates with the title like he has just went through a hellacious match, a smile on his face the entire time …. When suddenly ….
IT’S BROCK LESNAR!!!!!
LESNAR enters the ring and gets nose to nose with CAGE!!!! They stare each other down as the crowd is chanting ‘HOLY SHIT! HOLY SHIT!’ …. BROCK scoops CAGE up out of nowhere!!!!
F5!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
BROCK puts a foot on CAGE’s chest and points at the ref, and the ref counts 1 … 2 … 3!!!! I’m not sure if this was an official match, but BROCK LESNAR is here and he has just destroyed BRIAN CAGE! BROCK leaves the ring and walks up the aisle, but the crowd is chanting ‘ONE MORE TIME!’ so LESNAR returns to the ring and delivers a 2nd F5 to CAGE! LESNAR picks up the TNT title and walks out!!!! MAURO says that BROCK LESNAR is the HUGE free agent signing that was leaked on the internet last week!
BACKSTAGE:
We see CODY RHODES & BRANDI leaving the building …. QUINN MCKAY tries to catch up to him but he says that he is done with AEW but had to leave DANIEL BRYAN with a little parting gift …. He rips is AEW shirt off and throws it at MCKAY and then gets into a waiting limo and leaves ….THE REVIVAL (Scott Dawson & Dash Wilder) vs. RICK & SCOTT STEINERTHE BAR show up looking for payback on RICK & SCOTT from last week and they attack RICK outside the ring …. SCOTT leaves the ring to help his brother out, resulting in a brawl that leads to the STEINERS being counted out ….Up next is an in-ring segment with Women’s champion and #2 world ranked CHARLOTTE FLAIR, her first appearance since being attacked by TESSA BLANCHARD …. CHARLOTTE cuts a promo on TESSA, saying she has always been living in CHARLOTTE’s shadow like her father TULLY is always living in the shadow of RIC FLAIR! This brings TESSA out to the ring and she is pissed …. TESSA shoots on CHARLOTTE says she doesn’t deserve to get a chance at a title match because she is priviledged and has always had that silver spoon in her mouth …. Among other things (gasp from the crowd) …. TESSA has always been better, but she has had to work twice as hard ….
This brings out SASHA & BAYLEY to get involved, but TESSA cuts them off …. It is time for them to make a decision …. Are they going to continue to let CHARLOTTE leech their careers until they are left with nothing? SASHA & BAYLEY refuse to get involved, and CHARLOTTE spears TESSA to the mat! CHARLOTTE with the right hands, but TESSA shoves her off and escapes to the outside …. CHARLOTTE stares her down, and then turns her attention to SASHA & BAYLEY …. BAYLEY gives CHARLOTTE a hug, followed by SASHA as TESSA is shown on the outside fuming ….
AEW title match: (Champion) ‘Heartbreak Kid’ SHAWN MICHAELS vs. ROMAN REIGNSHBK bumps around the ring for REIGNS, and he looks great here …. REIGNS pushes HBK to the limit, and it looks like he has the title won on several occasions …. Here comes HALL & NASH, but the USOS are out and they brawl in the aisle and onto the stage …. REIGNS hits a spear on HBK, but as the ref is counting 3 HHH slides in the ring and breaks it up, resulting in the DQ …. POST MATCH: HHH and HBK double team REIGNS, but here comes THE ROCK! ROCK fires off right hands on HHH but walks right into Sweet Chin Music! HHH goes under the ring and brings out a sledgehammer! HBK holds up THE ROCK and HHH is about to kill him with the Sledgehammer but REIGNS is back up and makes the save for THE ROCK! REIGNS spears HBK, then clotheslines HHH over the top rope to the floor! THE BLOODLINE are standing tall in the ring as the N.W.O are licking their wounds as they back up the ramp ….
SUDDENLY THE LIGHTS DROP ….
Out on the stage comes AJ STYLES!!!! AJ STYLES IS … ALL … ELITE!!!!
AJ stares down BOTH THE BLOODLINE and the N.W.O and smiles as the show ends ….
