AT THE PODIUM:
QUINN MCKAY and MATT STRIKER are at the podium to start off the show …. They begin by recapping the events of the IWA 1 year show, with the CHARLOTTE-ROUSEY match ending in controversy and ASUKA retaining the IWA world title in an ‘I QUIT’ match against BRITT BAKER …. This doesn’t last long before we get the arrival of RONDA ROUSEY accompanied by SHAYNA BASZLER, MARINA SHAFIR and JESSAMYN DUKE …. ROUSEY is furious and she shoves QUINN aside and takes the mic from her ….
ROUSEY says that what happened at the 1 Year Anniversary Show between her and CHARLOTTE was BULLSHIT! She says that the fans suck, but when they chanted ‘BULLSHIT’ in Los Angeles for the finish of their match she finally agreed with them for once …. She wants to fight CHARLOTTE right now! In the ring, in the parking lot, it doesn’t matter!
CHARLOTTE FLAIR’s music hits and she comes out, but she isn’t coming alone. She is accompanied by TESSA BLANCHARD, SASHA BANKS and BAYLEY aka VALKYRIE! CHARLOTTE says that ROUSEY doesn’t belong here, but at least they agree that the finish of their match was bullshit after all the hype and all the talking …. CHARLOTTE wants to fight ROUSEY again too, and she wants to fight right now ….
STEPHANIE MCMAHON, the Evolve Authority Figure, comes out to interrupt now …. she brings an army of security with her! She says this isn’t happening tonight, because as the Authority Figure of Evolve she is the one responsible for making sure Evolve is profitable. ROUSEY vs. CHARLOTTE is a big money match, and STEPHANIE agrees that everyone was disappointed in the finish at the 1 year show but she isn’t going to let things break down into senseless violence …. They are going to settle it in the ring, and she is going to be the one to promote it …. STEPHANIE instates a ‘no contact’ order for CHARLOTTE and ROUSEY if they want this rematch to happen ….
TESSA says she doesn’t fall under the no contact order, so she wants to fight ROUSEY tonight …. STEPHANIE agrees to that match so we have our main event ….
PENELOPE FORD def. RED VELVET….
FORD wins her debut with a back handspring into a cutter ….

STRONG SMILES get the win after KYLIE gets MANDY on her shoulders and ELLERING comes off with a spear off the top rope) ….
POST MATCH: KYLIE and RACHEL join STRIKER and QUINN at the podium:
KYLIE cuts a promo on SASHA BANKS & BAYLEY saying that STRONG SMILES are coming after their tag team titles …. They get interrupted by TEAM KICK (Dakota Kai & Tegan Nox) …. DAKOTA says that it takes more than coming out and saying they are next in line …. Get in the ring and prove it! TEGAN says they aren’t about smiles, they are all about kicks …. RACHEL says ‘any time’ ….

CANADIAN NINJAS (Portia Perez & Nicole Matthews) def. BORN BOUJEE (Vanessa Bourne & Aaliyah) ….
THE NINJAS, one of the most decorated tag teams in women’s wrestling, former world tag team champions, and 2 of the top free agents in wrestling make their first appearance in Evolve, getting the win in their debut after hitting the Funky Cold Medina on AALIYAH ….
AT THE PODIUM:
SASHA BANKS & BAYLEY come back out as the NINJAS make their way to the back …. They clap for them mockingly, and PEREZ & MATTHEWS stop to stare them down for a short moment before leaving …. BANKS & BAYLEY cut a promo and say that is an example of how Evolve is a hot bed for tag team wrestling and they are the leaders of that division …. They talk about how they are the best team in women’s wrestling and they will defend the titles against not only any team in Evolve, they will defend against ANY team! QUINN mentions that will actually happen coming up at the July 4th Super Summer Sizzler show with WCW when they defend against TAY CONTI & ANNA JAY …. BANKS talks about how they don’t have the skill or chemistry that BANKS & BAYLEY have, and they will make short work of them and prove who the best team is on July 4th ….

Fatal 4 way (Evolve Contract on the line): CHEERLEADER MELISSA def. NAOMI, MERCEDES MARTINEZ & AJ LEE….
Great action in this one …. MELISSA wins the match to earn an Evolve contract after pinning AJ LEE following the Kudo Driver (Verte-breaker) ….
VIGNETTE:
We are shown a vignette of XIA LI and BOA undergoing an intense training session of some kind, with their ShiFu master ordering to keep submerging themselves in a water tank while the mystery woman looked on from her chair. LI began crying but continued to dunk herself into the water and come up gasping for air, only to be told “AGAIN!” by someone offscreen …. This went on until the mystery woman lifted her hand, signaling for the master to stop the activity. The vignette then cut to Xia and Boa bowing in front of the mystery woman. They were told to stand up by the master and as they stood to bow for the woman, and when they do they get hit in the back with kendo sticks and knocked back to the ground …. The figure tells them to stand again, and the segment ends ….

ASUKA segment …. She talks about BRITT BAKER …. BETH PHOENIX interrupts and makes her Evolve debut …. She issues a challenge to ASUKA for the world title …. ASUKA accepts and they shake hands!
MAIN EVENT: TESSA BLANCHARD vs. RONDA ROUSEY ….
The match starts off similarly to the match with CHARLOTTE, but this time TESSA tries to outwrestle ROUSEY …. ROUSEY maneuvers TESSA into a submission hold on the mat, sending TESSA to the ropes for the break …. CHARLOTTE and BASZLER are ringside and get in each others face …. TESSA controls the arm of ROUSEY, but ROUSEY battles back with strikes …. BASZLER tries to get involved but CHARLOTTE takes her out with a big boot! ROUSEY goes for the armbar, but CHARLOTTE grabs TESSA’s leg and pulls her to the floor! ROUSEY goes after CHARLOTTE, but is reminded of the no contact order …. Instead, ROUSEY grabs a chair and attacks TESSA for the DQ!
POST MATCH: ROUSEY continues the attack, but CHARLOTTE can’t do anything because she and ROUSEY can’t touch each other! BASZLER is up and attacks CHARLOTTE from behind as ROUSEY locks TESSA in the arm bar and refuses to let go! BANKS & BAYLEY run out from the back to make the save for CHARLOTTE & TESSA as the show ends ….
