Bill Apter: "Hello wrestling fans......Bill Apter here, coming to you from the offices of Pro Wrestling Illustrated! And do I have big news for you! The past several weeks I have been in serious negotiations with talent from all over the world! And on April 2nd we are going to make wrestling history! As eight if the best women from all over the world will compete in a one night tournament to crown the first ever GFW Womens champion!"
Bill Apter: "And when I say women from all over the world..... I'm not kidding! Take a look at the tournament field......"
Bill Apter: "First up, representing China, is Xia Li! Considered by many to be the best Womens wrestler of all time in China, Xia Li will be a force to reckon with in this tournament."
Bill Apter: "Representing Australia is Indi Hartwell. This one was hard to choose as so many great women hail from Australia, but Indi, who is no stranger to competition here in the States, will look to represent her country well."
Bill Apter:: "Perhaps the most dominating force in this tournament is Bull Nakano representing Japan! Nakano definite size advantage and mean streak, makes her the tournament odds on favorite to win!"
Bill Apter: "Representing Russia is a lady simply known as "The Russian Crush" Natalia Markova brings much diversity in this tournament as she's not afraid to mix it up with anyone!"
Bill Apter: "Representing the United Kindom.... she puts the KLR or Killer if you will, into everything she does..... she's Kay Lee Ray! While many have Nakano as your early favorite.....do not count out this woman!"
Bill Apter: "How could we have Mexico represented in this tournament and not have Thunder Rosa? Thunder has made quite a name for herself here in the U.S. and has came close many times to winning the world title. Can she finally break the glass ceiling and become the first ever GFW Womens champion?"
Bill Apter: "Another woman who is no secret to Womens wrestling, representing our friends in Canada..... is Trish Stratus! You know Trish will be looking for Stratusfaction in her quest to become champion!"
Bill Apter: "And our final entrant.... made in the USA herself..... Madusa! Medusa has competed all over the world and wants nothing more than to add a major championship to her resume! She has her chance this weekend! Fans.....there you have the field of competitor's! Who is your favorite to win? Join us this weekend as GFW makes history once again!"
