Gordon Solie: Hello fans , welcome to the Windy City Rumble . Joe , this is going to be quite a night . Our main event , the Rumble is not like typical style rumble matches .
Joe : No Gordon , it’s not . For one the field is smaller . For two there is five minutes before the next wrestler comes out and 3 , an elimination can happen by tossing an opponent out , pinfall or submission .
Gordon : But right now , let’s get things started with the Windy City Pro Wrestling Women’s Championship .
Windy City Women’s Championship Gail Kim (c) vs The Fabulous Heather Monroe : Early on it’s all Gail . She has Heather backed in a corner , with some forearm shots . Heather powders out . Gail goes out after her . Heather runs Gail’s shoulder into the ring post and now works over the left arm . Gail makes a come back and hits Eat Defeat , but can’t capitalize because of the bad arm . Both women get to their feet , Heather gets off a Heart Punch and gets the 1....2....3 .
Gordon : We have a new champion . Heather Monroe with a huge upset . Right now Joe is standing by with the challengers for the Windy City Pro Tag Team Titles. Nick Bockwinkle and Harley Race .
Joe : Gentlemen, big night for you . A chance to get back the Windy City Pro Wrestling Tag Team Titles.
Bockwinkle : Mr . Pedicino, tonight we give to very good wrestlers a chance to be great . They can come out there and do all the little things well . They can make frequent tags , move the match along at a faster pace and wear us down . But , they won’t win .
Because sooner or later they will make a mistake . And Harley and I will do what we do best . Make them pay for that mistake . Cut the ring in half , deal out punishment and walk away with the Windy City Pro Wrestling Tag Team Titles .
Race : Nick summed it up best . We are specialist in hurting people . We are specialist in winning . It’s the one thing Nick and I have always done no matter where we have gone . And tonight is no exception . Barry Windham , Mike Rotunda , we like you guys . We see potential in what you can be, but gentlemen, you have something that we consider ours and we want it back .
Joe : Gentleman , thank you very much . Gordon , back to you .
Gordon : It’s time for some Luchadore action . Tiger Mask will be defending against El Santo .
Windy City Pro Wrestling Luchadore Championship: Tiger Mask ( C) vs El Santo : This match has everything . Lots of spots and then some actual working . Santo puts a Sleeper on Tiger , but Tiger turns it into a cutter . A spinning back later and then a Tombstone, Tiger gets the 1....2....3 !!!
Gordon : Tiger Mask looking great in his first title defense . Right now Joe Pedicino is standing by with IWA World Heavyweight Champion, Hulk Hogan .
Joe : Champ , a tough challenge tonight .
Hulk: Joe Pedicino, let me tell you something dude . HHH has been obsessed with beating me since he first stepped foot here in Windy City Pro Wrestling. And I’m pretty sure it’s nothing to do with titles . It goes beyond that , brother . For some reason it’s personal . Well HHH tonight , brother in front of the thousands of Hulkamanics, you have a chance to not only beat me , brother , but to become the World Heavyweight Champion . And after I’m done with you , CM Punk , you better be worried because I’m gonna kick your butt in a steel cage .
Joe : Hulk Hogan, thank you , Gordon let’s go back to you .
Gordon : Thank you , Joe and right now it’s time for the Windy City Pro Wrestling Tag Team Title match. Let’s go to the ring.
Windy City Pro Wrestling Tag Team Titles: The US Express (C) vs Nick Bockwinkle and Harley Race: Windham and Rotunda look great . They keep Bockwinkle in their corner and hit a lot of big impact moves . After a series of Suplexes by Rotunda. Windham just wears Bockwinkle out with huge clotheslines . But as Rotunda gets the tag , Bockwinkle rakes the eyes and tosses him in the corner .
Now Race and Bockwinkle , go to work on the head and shoulders of Rotunda . Shoulder breakers and several hard punches had him reeling . Harley goes for a Piledriver , but Rotunda backdrops out . From there he gets the hot tag to Windham . All four men are in the ring , Windham gets a sunset flip on Harley and gets the 1....2..3 .
Gordon : And the champions retain . Joe is standing by with new Women’s Champion, the Fabulous Heather Monroe.
Joe : Miss Monroe, congratulations.
Heather : Joe , in a match like that , there are winners and losers . And it’s too bad . But Gail Kim , like we had known all along , you are a loser . You hid behind that title and took on inferior competition, but then you ran into the most fabulous wrestler walking this earth , better than Ric Flair, better than CM Punk , Better than HHH . More Fabulous than Ole Anderson , way more fabulous than any Freebird . I am Heather Monroe and not only am I fabulous , I’m the very best ever . You’re welcome.
Joe : Gordon , back to you .
Gordon : Thank you Joe . It’s time for that big IWA World Heavyweight Title Match. Let’s go to the ring.
IWA World Heavyweight Title: Hulk Hogan (C) vs HHH: This thing starts in aisle and goes all over the building . Both men bloody each other . After 10 minutes of action , HHH goes for the Pedigree and gets it . Hogan is in the ropes though . HHH goes to pull Hogan up , Hogan with a side belly to belly . He then waits . Axe Bomber !!!! 1......2......3 !!!!
After the match , Hollywood Dave Batista jumps Hogan and he and HHH Pedigree through a time keepers table . Security rushes to Hogan’s aide . EMT’s then take the champ away .
Gordon : Obviously our concern is with Hulk Hogan at this time , but wrestling like all sports moves forward . Joe , you want to explain the rules of the Windy City Rumble .
Joe : Gordon , the Windy City Rumble is like the Royal Rumble on steroids. The field is much smaller . 10 competitors. New entires every five minutes , unless an elimination happens . Then it’s immediately. Eliminations up until the last can occur by pinfall , submission or over the top rope and both feet hit the floor . The last two remaining will then battle it out in a no DQ match .
Gordon : Thank you Joe and with that let’s start the Windy City Rumble !!!!!
First entries : Dusty Rhodes vs Dynamite Kid : Dusty is all offense in the early going trying to eliminate the cardio powerhouse that is Dynamite Kid . He hits the DDT , but Dynamite rolls out of the ring . Dynamite now stalls ....... 3.......2......1 !!!!!
Kerry Von Erich enters at number 3 . He tosses Dynamite in the ring . Dusty hits him with 3 bionic elbows . The third knocks him over the ropes and onto the ring apron . Kerry from the floor tries to pull Dynamite down ..... 3.....2......1 !!!!
Chris Adams comes down and spins Kerry around , Superkick !!!! He rolls Kerry in and then hops in the ring himself . Now Dusty is approaching. But Dynamite comes off the top rope with a headfirst spear type move to the back of Dusty’s head . He covers Dusty , but a recovered Kerry breaks it up . However , Kerry falls victim to a second Adams Superkick that knocks Kerry completely out of the ring and down to the floor.
KERRY VON ERICH HAS BEEN ELIMINATED .
Gary Hart leads out his assassin Abdullah The Butcher who becomes entry number 5 . Hart on the outside has seemed to make a plan with Adams and Dynamite . Now as Dusty is getting to his feet he is rushed by Dynamite, Adams and Abby. Dusty though drops and pulls down the ropes out goes the Butcher . Whose weight and momentum carry him out to the floor .
ABDULLAH THE BUTCHER HAS BEEN ELIMINATED!!!!
Bob Backlund slides in and now he and Dusty have formed a makeshift team . Backlund hits a Suplex on Adams . Then locks in the Crossface Chicken Wing!!! The ref checks the arm . It falls once , twice , 3 times .
CHRIS ADAMS HAS BEEN ELIMINATED!!!
Dusty at the same time finally tosses out the elusive Dynamite Kid .
DYNAMITE KID HAS BEEN ELIMINATED!!!
Dusty goes to shake Backlunds hand , but Bob has his sights set on a bigger prize . He kicks Dusty in the nuts and then makes the cover , but however entries 7 & 8 storm the ring at the same time .
Tommy Rich and Randy Orton. Rich pulls off Backlund and gets off a reverse DDT . He covers . 1....2....Orton with a punt to the head . Orton covers ! 1....2.....Noooo Backlund seeking revenge locks Orton in the Crossface Chicken Wing!!! Rich gets to his feet ... Bionic Elbow from Dusty !!!! 1....2....3 !!!!
TOMMY RICH HAS BEEN ELIMINATED!!!
Gordon : And right there , I think Mr. Rhodes learned a lesson with so much on the line , there are no friends in this style match .
Joe : And Gordon , as you say that , here comes Magnum TA at number 9 in this contest . Dusty’s best friend .
Dusty and Magnum put on a wrestling clinic . In the meantime , Orton passes out in the Crossface Chicken Wing.
RANDY ORTON HAS BEEN ELIMINATED!!!!
Hollywood Dave Batista becomes the 10th and final man in the match . He blows up Backlund with a clothesline . Drax Bomb !!!! 1....2....3 !!!
BOB BACKLUND HAS BEEN ELIMINATED!!!
Now Batista comes up and grabs Dusty’s foot and trips him up knocking both him and Magnum to the floor !!!
Gordon : We need a ruling here Joe . It is supposed to be the last two in the ring battle it out in a No DQ match .
Joe : I’m being told Gordon , that Magnum’s feet hit the floor first . He is eliminated. If Dusty is well enough he can enter the ring and it will be Dusty and Batista!!!
Dusty fights to his feet and crawls under the bottom rope . Batista stomps the hell out of him and chokes him in the ropes . The fans get behind him and Dusty does a Hogan style come back . He hits a makeshift stunner on Batista and then locks in a Figure Four. Batista tries to turn it , but Dusty uses the ropes for momentum and there is nothing the ref can do about . Randy Orton hits the ring . He punts Dusty in the head . Now Magum is back in . He waffles Orton with a chair . Then Belly to Belly on the chair to Batista !!! Dusty is back up . He goes to the second rope , falling Headbutt to Batista !!!! 1......2......3 !!!!!!
The winner of the match , Dusty Rhodes!!!!!
John Rose comes out with a mic . With him is a briefcase.
Rose : WOW !!! Did you fans enjoy that !!!
Crowd goes crazy . Starts chanting Dusty’s name .
Rose : Dusty , you earned every bit of it . Start to finish . 58 minutes in total . And you outlasted them all . So this case contains a few things . Inside is an open contract to any belt here in Windy City Pro Wrestling with the exception of the Luchadore Championship and the Women’s Championship . Also inside is a check for $150,000 from Showtime . And now one more thing . I have to open this case .
Rose pulls out a belt with a red , white and blue strap . 5 gold plates . One of the small plates on the left has a picture of the Chicago Skyline . The other left one has a picture of the American Flag

The two on the right has the Showtime logo and the other and American Eagle
. Finally the big middle plate is formed the United States . And it reads American Television Champion .
Rose : Now Dusty you can take this belt and it would be our honor if you did , however you would then forfeit any title shot as you would be the American Television Champion . You can name a successor to the contract , but not the belt , we would just have a 16 man tourney on tv . I know you are never in a loss for words , so go ahead .
Dusty : You know Johnny Rose , that American Television Championship , any man would be proud to hold , but let me tell you something , that beautiful Windy City Pro Wrestling Heavyweight Title has been calling The Dream’s name for sometime , baby . And now are on the cusp of getting it . That’s the American Dream , daddy . Big dreams come true .
But that being said , America now more than ever needs a hero !!! A nationwide pandemic has kept us home , lost jobs and crippled the economy. Mamas and papas coming home because there is no work . Hard times with no food on the table , how we gonna keep the lights on ?
All the heroes are gone . John Wayne , Ronald Reagan, George Patton , but the US soldier is still fighting over seas . Men and women are fighting at home to keep afloat . Millions await at the boarders wanting to come to the greatest country in the world to realize their dreams .
The homeless man over on rush street pushing around a shopping cart , he was a soldier . He was a husband , a father , a mill worker . He was you and me and now he’s out fighting . Every man , woman and child looking for some reason not to give up . A heartbeat of America .
