Tag Team Champions: Sadist Colony
Women's Champion: Io Shirai
With your hosts Kevin Kelly & Professor Toru Tanaka.
(Show opens with the Young Lion Match of the Week where we feature some of the young guys coming up in the company.)
YOUNG LION MATCH
Ho Ho Lun (0-2) vs Yoshi-Hashi (0-1)
.....VS.....
The two men Shake hands before the match. Yoshi has had some small success here in RSW. While Lun has not fared as well. Lun tries his best to end that here by going a much more aggressive route. He nails Yoshi-Hashi with a Spinning Leg Lariat. Then Then hits a running Shooting Star Press for two. Yoshi comes back and nails him with Head Crusher (Sitout rear mat slam). Then goes up and connects with Loose Explosion (High Angle Senton from the Top Rope). He gets the 3 count.
Winner: Yoshi-Hashi (1-1)
Kelly: Hello everyone, I'm Kevin Kelly and this is Rising Sun Wrestling. I am here with my broadcast partner, The Professor, Toru Tanaka. Toru in this weeks Young Lions match we saw Yoshi-Hashi barely get by a very game Ho Ho Lun.
Toru: Hai. Although he is a Young Lion, Yoshi-Hashi seems a bit more advanced than some of the others.
Kelly: Well speaking of the Young Lions Division. We have been told we will begin on our next TV have a Tournament to crown the Young Lion Champion.
Toru: This is a great opportunity for these young men to get noticed here in RSW.
Kelly: Speaking of being noticed. A woman who got a bunch of exposure at Wrestlemania was one Hana Kimura after she defeated Ayako Hamada. Le's see some glimpses from that Match and then we will hear from Miss Kimura.
(Highlights are shown of the Hana Kimura victory over Hamada from Wrestlemania.
Kimura: Sorry I ruined all of Inoki's plans to have his big star win at our first Wrestlemania appearance.... Actually... I'm not F*cking sorry. I TOLD YOU PEOPLE. I can and would beat Hamada. I'm so sick of women like her still being build up as the class of the Women's wrestling scene here in Japan. This is a new day for a new generation. A generation that cares nothing for fossils like her. So get ready UWF. I am the face of the future that you can't stop or even slow down.
Kelly: Professor, Hana Kimura was tough to deal with before. Now she may be impossible.
Toru: Hai. But I applaud her confidence. She wants to break into the top tier of this sport and she wont let anyone get in her way.
Kelly: Well one woman who still has something to say about that is Ayako Hamada who has requested a rematch for our next bi show, Vengeance. Also someone looking for some payback is Larry Sweeney's Eliminators who fell to the debuting Roppongi 3K Team of SHO & YOH.
Toru: This young team really impressed me greatly. They have an exuberance that is contagious. I look to seeing more from them.
Kelly: ell we will see them at the Road to Vengeance show when they step into the ring with the Eliminators once more. Now let's hear from RSW's newest Tag Team.
(Highlights from Roppongi 3K's debut are shown.)
SHO: Larry Sweeney... You think you can come to Japan and make fools of me and YOH. But what you don't know is just because we are young does not mean that we are not just as bad as your Eliminators.
YOH: In fact... We showed you in New Orleans... your country... We are the better team. And now in Osaka we are going to prove that again. You think that this is your Vengeance. But no.. It is the Vengeance for all men like us who are tired of not given respect. You will learn this lesson one more time.
Kelly: These kids are hungry, Professor.
Toru: They were embarrassed by the beating they took at the hands of the Eliminators. Now they are the ones looking to hand out the beatings.
Kelly: Speaking of beatings. That's what Daisuke Sekimoto & YAMATO did to each other at the Wrestlemania Special show. Nothing was settled that night but both men have agreed to a rematch. This time it will be a No DQ - No Countout match.
Toru: Hai! This is my kind of fight! I like it very much.
Kelly: I'm sure you do. But up next is our Spotlight Match and tonight we take a look at Mike Bennett of the Kingdom.
SPOTLIGHT MATCH
Kenichiro Arai VS Mike Bennett (1-2) w/Maria
....VS....
Arai does well early on but a Maria distraction is all it took to end that. From there it was all Bennett. Hitting a number of suplexes then ending it with The Power of Love (Samoan driver).
Winner: Mike Bennett (2-2)
(After the match Mao interviews Mike & Maria in the ring.)
Mao: Mike at the show Wrestlemania Week. You lost to Hirooki Goto and there was an unfortunate collision between you and your wife Maria that led to it..
Maria: Enough out of you... Once again that neanderthal put his hands on me. And when my husband came to my rescue he shoved me into him. Then used a handful of tights to get a tainted victory. Is this your Samurai Spirit at work. Come on!
Mao: Well some would say it was you who involved yourself nto the match that night.
Bennett: Ok... 1... That's not true. 2... Even if it was... which it wasn't. That still doesn't excuse the hand of tights and the abuse of a woman. All because he is jealous that no Japanese woman can measure up to the Queen's beauty.
Mao: Ah... there's onestanding right here. Do I measure up fans?
(We get a loud pop and a "Mao" chant from the crowd.)
Bennett: How cute... All your customers from the strip club are here tonight. But unlike you my wife is a classy woman and Goto has laid his grubby hands on her twice. That's why at Vengeance it will be The Kingdom vs Goto and the Blonde Bashers. And we are going mete out some American Justice in Osaka.
Maria: And no... you don't measure up to me. No one does...
Mao: What... EVA! At Vengeance it will 6-Man Tag Team action. I know who I'll be rooting for.
Toru: The Kingdom have made a lot of noise since coming here to RSW. But this will be a true test.
Kelly: Another test will be when Suzuki-Gun challenge The ELITE for the World 6-Man Titles in our Main Event at Vengeance.
Toru: Suzuki-gun have come very close in the past to win that title but now this is a different group with Tozawa-san and Takashi Iizuka.
Kelly: We are not sure what three will be in the ring that night but you can bet Minoru Suzuki will be one of them. Let's hear from him now.
Suzuki: The ELITE they call themselves. Ha! Elite you say? Two American boys and one Canadian? What do you know of elite? Here in Japan WE have the most elite fighters in the world. And they are all scared of me and Suzuki-gun. You used trickery to win those titles at Wrestlemania. But that will not work against us. When you come to Osaka. Go sight-seeing. Buy many souvenirs. You will have plenty of room in your luggage. Because when you go back home your Title belts are staying here with us. Hahahaha.
Kelly: It's time for our Main Event and it is the first match of our Junior Championship Tournament. We will see 3 more tournament matches at Road To Vengeance and then the rest f the 1st Round at Vengeance and as we know Dragon Lee has gotten a first round bye due to his win at the Harrah's Casino Battle Royal. But here we see BxB Hulk take on Kaz Hayashi.
(A short vignette plays showcasing the 15 men involved in the Junior Tournament.
Yoshi Hashi, Taka Michinoku, Masato Yoshino, Kamaitachi ,CIMA, Chase Owens, Dragon Lee, BXB Hulk, Akira Tozawa, Naruki Doi, Kaz Hayashi, Noam Dar, Taiji Ishimori, Hajime Ohara & Tetsuya Bushi. Then we hear from Dragon Lee)
Lee: When I came to Japan to wrestle for Rising Sun Wrestling, I knew it would be hard. There are so many great wrestlers here. But there has been one guy who has been a constant thorn in my side. Kamaitachi... We have been in the ring against each other many times already but after you attacked me after I won the Battle Royal. I hope you win your match. I want you to win enough so that you have to face me one on one. Because then I am going to show you that when you mess with a dragon... you burn....
Toru: I was never a Junior wrestler. But I am a big fan of this division. These men move so quickly and fly like birds. It's very exciting to see..
Kelly: I couldn't agree more my friend. And looking at the names that are participating in this I can say with certainty that this will be a fantastic event. Now let's get it started!
MAIN EVENT: 1st Round Junior Championship Tournament Kaz Hayashi VS BxB Hulk (1-2)
.....VS.....
Kaz is not just a high flyer but a very sound mat wrestler and he uses those skills early to ground Hulk. BxB is also a very good submission wrestler so this becomes a bit of a chess match. They trade holds and locks back and forth. Hulk then catches Kaz with dropkick. He goes for another but its sidestepped and Hayashi nails him with a basement one to the mush.
The fight continues with both men getting in some strikes now. Then Hayashi goes for a Bridging German but Hulk twists and lands on top of him. 1.. 2.. No. Hulk goes for a senton but Kaz moves then applies Crunch Loop (Reverse figure four leglock). BxB Hulk is in pain but grabs the bottom rope. They begin trading Forearms then Hulk goes for a spin kick but Kaz grabs him in a Capture Suplex. He covers for a near fall. Then They go into a sequence where they are throwing strikes that are hitting each other. Kaz goes for a Snap German but Hulk floats out. Hits an Hurracanrana then transitions into a Cross Armbreaker. Kaz has nowhere to go and has to tap out.
Winner: BxB Hulk(2-2)
Kelly: What A match! This is just the first one. What a tournament this is going to be.
Toru: Hai. I told you, I enjoy the Junior wrestlers. They go all out. Tonight neither man deserved to lose but BxB Hulk deserved to win just a little more.
Kelly: WE are going to see a lot more of this on our Vengeance shows. Tickets are available so get out there if you're here in Japan and if not sign-up for our website where you can see the show on tape delay the next day. Just go to RSWrestling.Jp and become a Premium subscriber. For the Professor Toru Tanaka, I'm Kevin Kelly... Arigato & Oyasumi.
