The show starts with William Regal already in the ring .... Regal says he has been ordered by Progress Management to issue an apology to Marty Scurll for what happened on the last show .... Regal reads a prepared statement off a piece of paper, calling his behavior ‘unprofessional’ ....
After reading the statement, Regal gets down to business and makes his announcement .... Tonight we will hold the ‘SURVIVAL OF THE FITTEST’ tournament .... 8 free agents will battle for not only a Progress contract but the winner will also receive a UK title shot against Killian Dain at the Bash in London!
Regal is interrupted as ‘The Villain’ Marty Scurll comes out .... Scurll says that Regal showed him the real William Regal last week, the William Regal he’s been looking for .... now Regal has had his balls cut off again by Dana White and Progress management .... Regal is seething and he clenches his fists but can’t do anything .... Scurll gets in Regals face because he knows Regal can’t touch him .... He demands that Regal apologize to his face and then give him back his title ....
This brings out ‘Bruiserweight’ Pete Dunne to a big pop ....
The fans are starting to get behind Dunne lately .... Dunne wastes no time in attacking Scurll, who has made a lot of enemies lately .... Scurll escapes and Dunne tells Regal he wants a UK title shot .... Regal stops them both and says they will both have their chance .... As it stands right now the SOTF winner will get the UK shot at the Bash, but at the Bash we will have a Triple Threat match to determine a new No. 1 contender .... It will be Dunne vs Scurll vs an opponent that will be announced later tonight .... Regal says Scurll and Dunne can settle their issues when they go one on one tonight ....

**** (SCOTLAND) Drew McIntyre def. (IRELAND) Finn Balor **** This is a Hell of a match as these two tear it down .... McIntyre works on the leg of Balor, limiting his speed and mobility .... Balor manages to battle back with the sling blade and then the shotgun dropkick .... Balor up top but McIntyre meets him there and hits a BIG super-plex and both men are down! McIntyre launches a series of moves, but Balor keeps kicking out .... Balor counters the Claymore with another slingblade, then hits a double stomp to the back of McIntyre .... shotgun dropkick and Balor to the top, but McIntyre avoids the Coup De Grace and kicks Balor in the gut .... Future Shock DDT! 1 ... 2 ... 2.99999! Balor doesn’t have much left in the tank, and McIntyre waits for him to get up and drills him with the Claymore kick to get the clean 1 ... 2 ... 3 on the former Junior Heavyweight Champion! ....POST MATCH - McIntyre celebrates the huge win and the momentum he has heading into the Four way Iron Man match at the Bash ....
