The screen goes blank and we hear the fans chanting 'S-S-W!  S-S-W!  S-S-W!'  'FLYING HIGH AGAIN' by Ozzy Osbourne hits (the original SSW theme music) and a promo airs that includes highlights from SSW's entire 5 year existence . . .

-Lance Storm hitting a super kick on John Cena, then Owen Hart pinning him to become the very first SSW Genesis champion . . .

-Deuce & Domino posing with Cherry in the ring and holding up the SSW tag team titles

-Bryan Danielson hitting a top rope back suplex on Super Dragon

-CM Punk choking out John Cena with the Anaconda Vice

-John Cena hitting an F-U on CM Punk off the top of a cage through two stacked tables

-Jeff Hardy whipping his own brother Matt with a strand of barbed wire

-Trish Stratus reversing an Awesome Bomb from Awesome Kong into a tornado DDT

-Jack Swagger and Kurt Angle face to face in the ring

-John Morrison springboarding onto a ladder and nailing the Flying Chuck on Tyler Black, then pulling down the TV title

The show starts off with Mike Goldberg and Joe Rogan in the ring.  





They welcome everyone to the show and thank the fans for 5 great years of memories and innovation in the wrestling business.  When SSW started, they deemed themselves the 'Next Chapter' adn that is exactly what they have been . . .


'AND WELL . . . WELL . . . WEEEEEELLLLLLLL!'





Mike and Joe are interrupted as out come . . . JOEL GERTNER????  Gertner was on the very first SSW show but he hasn't been seen here in years . . . .  Apparently Joel is going to be the special guest ring announcer here tonight!  Joel comes out to the ring and takes the mic from Mike Goldberg . . .


Joel - It is I, the quintessential stud muffin, and a damn handsome man . . . Joel, I'm luscious, I'm lean, I'm the best they've ever seen . . . Because I am a man among boys and a well-oiled sex machine . . . Gertner!!!!'


Joel stays in the ring to announce the contestants for the opening match, as we go to ringside with Mike and Joe.  They continue to set up tonight's huge show and celebrate SSW's 5th Anniversary.  Tonight they are going to have the top SSW 'Defining Moment' as voted on by the fans at ssw.com, not to mention the mega-main event . . .


Match 1: 6 man tag team match
The United Kingdom (Doug Williams, Drew McIntyre & SSW Impact champion Sheamus)
vs
Seth Rollins, Justin Gabriel & Jeff Hardy


Instead of it being Sheamus defending the Impact title against Seth Rollins, we get a 6 man tag team match featuring the entire United Kingdom . . . The finish of the match sees Jeff Hardy get the hot tag and come in to take out everyone in the UK.  Hardy and Sheamus go at it in the ring, which ends up with Jeff catching Sheamus out of nowhere with the Twist of Fate!  Jeff rips off his shirt and climbs to the top for the Swanton, but Doug Williams reaches in and pulls Sheamus out of the way.  Hardy with a flying bodypress off the top to both Sheamus and Williams on the floor!  Drew McIntyre and Gabriel are going at it in the ring, and McIntyre goes for the Future Shock DDT but Rollins breaks up the move with a super kick to McIntyre!  Buckle Bomb to McIntyre by Rollins . . . Avada Kadavra (super kick to kneeling opponent) to McIntyre!!!!  Cover for the 1 . . . 2 . . . Nooooo!  Barrett reaches in and pulls the ref to the outside!!!!  Suicide Dive to Barrett outside by Rollins!!!!  Back in the ring, Sheamus misses the Brogue Kick on Gabriel and gets nailed with a Flatliner!!!!  Gabriel up top . . . 450 SPLASH MISSES!!!!  Sheamus is up and scoops Gabriel up and drills him with the White Noise and scores the pin!  The UK get the victory!!!!

IN THE BACK - John Lauranitis is in the back with DH Smith.  Lauranitis takes a moment to put himself over like he always does, and he takes all the credit for SSW's success.  He says that he took the company to new heights . . . higher than Shane McMahon and higher than Paul Heyman . . . DH Smith asks what that has to do with him, and Lauranitis says that tonight Smith is going to have his chance to shine, but it won't be against Mike Mondo.  Mondo has been injured and will not be able to compete tonight.  DH says that he has waited a long time to perform on this kind of stage, and if Lauranitis won't give him an opponent he will go out there and find one himself . . .


Out comes DH Smith and he is ready to compete.  He says that Mike Mondo is not here tonight, and he wants another opponent . . . one that is going to give him some competition.  Music hits and out comes . . . 'The Project' Tomasso Ciampa!!!!  Ciampa has been on the shelf for months with an injury, but tonight he is back!





Match 2: Singles Match
DH Smith

'The Project' Tomasso Ciampa


These two tear into each other for 10 solid minutes with neither man getting the clear advantage . . . Smith manages to nail the running power slam on Ciampa but he gets his foot on the ropes, and Ciampa manages to catch Smith out of nowhere with the Project Ciampa.  However, before he can score the pin the time limit expires!  The two men still want a piece of each other even after the match is over, but they are separated and the two men go to the back with nothing solved between them . . .


IN THE BACK - Appetite 4 Destruction promo . . . Steen says that the world has forgotten who the hell they really are.  But they are going to show them tonight.  The Briscoes just walk in the door and think that everything is going to be handed to them, but what A4D is going to hand out to them tonight is violence like the SSW fans havent seen in a while.  The Briscoes arent going to walk in and take their spot, the only spot they are going to get is one right next to the last tag team that tried to take their spot . . . in a body bag!


Match 3: Singles Match
Tyson Kidd w/ Rik Victor
vs
'Unbreakable' Michael Elgin


Mike and Joe talk about the history between these two, and how Kidd brought Elgin into SSW but then Elgin had enough of Kidd and turned on him at the Bunkhouse Brawl show . . . Kidd has been out of action since taking 3 power bombs from Elgin, but he came back to attack Elgin and cost him his match against Seth Rollins last week . . .


Kidd comes to the ring accompanied by Rik Victor, the last student of the Hart Family Dungeon.  Mike and Joe talk about how Kidd and Victor are the last two students ever to train there.  Elgin is a beast, and he continues to rise up the card.  However, Kidd holds his own with a very simple plan, attacking the knee of Elgin.  Kidd actually maintains control of most of the match by grounding Elgin, and he locks on the Dungeon Lock (modified figure four) . . . Elgin fights out of the hold and makes his comeback, and his power is too much for Kidd to overcome.  Victor tries to get involved, but Elgin nearly takes his head off with a spinning backfist!  Kidd is tossed into the corner . . . THEN ELGIN BUCKLE BOMBS VICTOR INTO KIDD IN THE CORNER!!!!  They both stumble out . . . AND ELGIN PICKS THEM BOTH UP IN A SIMULTANEOUS DOUBLE LEG SPINEBUSTER AND DRILLS THEM BOTH!!!!  Elgin covers Kidd for the academic 1 . . . 2 . . . 3!    





IN THE BACK - John Cena is with Josh Matthews.  Cena says that the last year and a half of his life has led up to tonight.  He doesn't care who the best technical wrestler is, he doesn't care who is phenomenal . . . hell, he doesnt even care about a referee that has an Olympic Gold Medal . . . They can all be those things, but what he is going to be is the SSW Genesis champion!  Cena is interrupted by . . . John Lauranitis????  Lauranitis wants Cena to know there is no hard feelings between them, and he wishes him good luck in his match tonight.  He offers his hand to Cena, who smirks and just walks off . . .


Match 4: Tag Team Match
Appetite 4 Destruction (Kevin Steen & Super Dragon)

The Briscoes (Jay & Mark)


Briscoe Brothers get the streamer treatment from the fans for their first match, and that just serves to piss Steen and Generico off even more.  Steen goes out to ringside and talks shit to the fans, nearly inciting a riot with some of the people at ringisde.  Depite this, the match actually starts out pretty clean with some chain wrestling from Jay Briscoe and Steen.  The action goes back and forth in the early goings, but it is the Briscoes that make quick tags in and out and take the advantage over Steen.  Eventually the action breaks down, and all four men are fighting it out both in and out of the ring.  Mark Briscoe gives us the first insane spot of the match when he hits a moonsault off the top rope onto Jay, Steen and Dragon who are on the concrete floor!!!!  Steen and Dragon end up gaining control of the match, and they isolate Jay on their side of the ring.  Jay is busted open at one point and Steen takes his blood and smears it all over his own face!!!!  Jay fights back and makes the hot tag into Mark, who comes in and takes out both Steen and Dragon with a little bit of 'Redneck Kung Fu'!  Jay back in a house of fire as well now and all 4 men are going at it.  Steen eats a Death Valley Driver from Jay, but Dragon is in and breaks up the count.  Dragon and Jay spill outside, and Steen goes for a back senton off the 2nd rope on Mark . . . BUT HE GETS HIS KNEES UP!!!!  Spinebuster by Jay . . . Mark up top . . . Froggy-Bow on Steen!  1 . . . 2 . . . Nooooo!  Dragon pulls Mark outside and tosses him into the steps!  Jay goes for the Jay Driller on Steen, but Dragon is in to break it up with a rolling wheel kick!  JAY GETS THE VIOLENCE PARTY FROM DRAGON!!!!  Tope Con Hilo takes out Mark on the outside of the ring!  Steen and Jay are alone in the ring . . . F-Cinq (F-5) to Jay!!!!  1 . . . 2 . . . Nooooo!  Jay kicks out!  Jay is a bloody mess still, and Steen removes the padding from the top turnbuckle . . . he tries to ram his head into the unprotected steel, but Mark stops him and hits a huricanrana!  Dragon is back in and he goes for the Barry White Driver, but Mark takes out his legs . . . SLINGSHOT INTO THE UNPROTECTED TURNBUCKLE!!!!  Dragon stumbles back, and Jay gets him up on his shoulders . . . SPRINGBOARD DOOMSDAY DEVICE!!!!  1 . . . 2 . . . Mark holds Steen at bay as he tries to come in for the save . . . 3!!!!


Jay and Mark are successful in their SSW debut . . .





INTERMISSION


It is intermission time, and it is time for the announcement of the number 1 'Defining Moment' as voted on by the fans on the SSW website.  Out comes John Lauranitis, and he starts the segment off by recapping the top 10 defining moments in SSW history . . .

10- TIE . . . Nigel McGuiness & Bryan Danielson winning the UWF World tag team titles from the Andersons . . . AJ Styles winning the UWF Junior Heavyweight title and holding the SSW Genesis title and UWF Junior title simultaneously . . .  

9- The Bryan Danielson - Dean Malenko feud over the Junior title that began with Danielson winning the NWA Junior title, and then the transition to the UWF where the two did battle over the vacant title with Malenko winning to become the 1st UWF Junior champion . . .

8-John Morrison becomes the first triple crown winner in SSW history

7-Chris Jericho defeating CM Punk to win the SSW title . . . becoming the first man to hold the SSW Genesis title and TV title simultaneously . . . starts feuds with Bruiser Brody and Tully Blanchard over the world title

After the announcement is complete, Lauranitis tries to continue but gets interrupted by . . .





HOLY SHIT THE ROOF LIFTS OFF THE BUILDING AS OUT TO THE RING COMES CM PUNK!!!!  Punk takes the mic from Lauranitis, who seems just as stunned as everyone else that CM Punk is standing in an SSW ring once again . . .


PUNK - 'Well, well . . . Speak of the devil and the devil appears.  Did you miss me?  For those of you that don't know me . . . my name is C . . . M . . . Punk!  Or you can just call the the 'Best . . . in the World'.  That's right, I said 'Best in the World' because no matter what you people have seen on other TV shows lately, or what you've heard . . . I am the best . . . wrestler . . . in the world!  Whether its in that ring or on this microphone, no one can touch me.  Because this microphone right here, in the hands of anyone else its just a microphone.  In the hands of CM Punk this is a pipe bomb.  And for that very reason, you haven't heard from me in a few weeks.  What do I mean by that?  Well, it's real simple . . . you haven't heard the name CM Punk in a while because there are those out there that have been trying to silence me!  And by those 'people' I mean Nicholas DeVannes and the rest of glad-handing cronies in charge of the RWA.  But tonight, we are not in the RWA are we?  Tonight . . . we are in S . . . S . . .W!!!!  The house that CM Punk built!  And tonight I have this microphone right here and all the time I want to talk . . . and I can't be silenced anymore!!!!  

You see, certain people in this business have a problem with CM Punk because I say the things that no one else has the balls to say!  And I came here tonight to say one very important thing.  Today . . . November 6th . . . is the day that marks the 5th Anniversary of SSW.  But it is also another very important date.  As the clock struck midnight last night, and November 5th bled into November 6th . . . my contract with RWA has officially come to an end!!!!  CM Punk is now . . . A . . . FREE . . . MAN!!!!  I am free from Nicholas DeVannes . . . free from being held hostage by the RWA.  I am free from a company that has gone to great lengths both publicly and privately to protect a man that you call world champion.  Protect him from who, you ask?  From CM PUNK!!!!  You see, I am pretty much known for being an honest person, and its that brutal honesty that has gotten me in trouble more times that I care to admit.  Well, here is some more of it right now.  The fact of the matter is that Tully Blanchard can't lace my boots!!!!  Yeah, that's right . . . I said it.  And somewhere right now, Tully Blanchard is breathing a HUGE sigh of relief because he thinks he is safe from me.  Yeah, I lost to Tully Blanchard, but lets make one thing perfectly clear . . . I passed out . . . I didn't quit!  Tully Blanchard didn't beat me!  I am so sick and tired of this misconception that Tully Blanchard is the best, becuase he's not . . . I'M THE BEST!  And right now, Nicholas DeVannes is glued to his TV set, wiping the sweat from his brow with one hand and his cell phone in the other hand.  And he is speed-dialing Tully Blanchard right now, blowing up his phone trying to reassure him that his worst nightmare really isn't happening.  But listen to me Tully, it is happening.  CM Punk has been set free, and your worst nightmare is about to begin!!!!'





'CULT OF PERSONALITY' hits and CM Punk stands in the ring to perhaps the biggest pop of the night by anyone, soaking in the cheers of the fans . . .


IN THE BACK - Josh Matthews is with the SSW Genesis champion Cody Rhodes, and there is a definite buzz backstage after what we just saw.  Josh asks Cody for his thoughts, and Cody says that he is moments away from the biggest macth of his career, the biggest match in this company's history, and he wants to ask him about CM Punk?  Who cares????  CM Punk is not relevant in SSW anymore but you know who is?  Cody Rhodes!  The man that is the face of this company and the 'walking, talking, living, breathing main event . . . and tonight he is going to go out there against three SSW 'legends' and prove it when he walks out still the champion.  The deck is stacked against him but he would expect nothing less because everyone is jealous of his success and want to see it end.  Well, they can keep wanting because it will not end . . . not here . . . not tonight!'


Match 5: Singles match
Bray Wyatt
vs
'The One Man Band' Heath Slater


Wyatt comes out and shakes hands with the referee and the ring announcer.  But when the bell rings Wyatt mercilessly attacks Slater.  This is a total squash.  Wyatt pummels Slater in the corner, then charges across the ring and crushes him in the corner with an avalanche splash!  Wyatt holds Slater in his arms, in some sort of embrace as he tells him 'I love you, man'. . . then he waltzes with Slater across the ring before dropping him with a short arm clothesline!   Running back senton by Wyatt crushes Slater!!!!  Wyatt picks him up and gets him in an STO position . . . then kisses him on the forehead before nailing a swinging snap STO!  Wyatt makes the cover and gets the pin to win his debut . . .


After the match, Wyatt again shakes hands with the ref, then even goes over and shakes hands with the unconscious Heath Slater still laying on the mat.  Wyatt grabs the microphone . . .

A video package airs for the SSW tag team champions Chris Benoit & Dean Malenko, showcasing the incredible roll they have been on.  Highlights of their run through the WLW cup are shown, as well as their win over Cole & O'Reiley for the SSW tag titles


Match 6: For the SSW Tag Team titles
(Champions) Chris Benoit & Dean Malenko

House of Truth (Adam Cole & Kyle O'Reiley) w/ Truth Martini


Cole & O'Reiley look like stars in this match, and they match Benoit and Malenko hold for hold.  Cole & O'Reiley actually control a large portion of the match, taking control after Cole tosses Malenko shoulder-first into the ring post outside.  The HoT work over the shoulder of Malenko using old school tactics much like what you would see from the tag champs.  Malenko fights back and manages to make the hot tag to Benoit, who comes in a house of fire!  Clotheslines and back elbows take down Cole & O'Reiley, then a snap suplex to both.  Benoit puts O'Reiley in the corner and chops the hell out of him . . . BUT O'REILEY NO SELLS AND SPITS IN BENOITS FACE!!!!  Open hand strikes by O'Reiley, but he walks right into a tilt-a-whirl backbreaker from Benoit!  Cole in and nails Benoit from behind, but Benoit catches him in a German Suplex!  Benoit holds on and hits another . . . then another . . . THEN ANOTHER!  5 rolling German suplexes by Benoit and he gives the cutthroat gesture . . . BUT GETS CUT OFF WITH A LEAPING KNEE STRIKE FROM O'REILEY!  He grabs Benoit . . . rolling butterly suplexes!!!!  He hits 3 of them, then drops Benoit down into a cross-arm breaker!  It looks like Benoit might tap, but Malenko is in to break it up.  Tiger Bomb to O'Reiley by Malenko . . . TEXAS CLOVERLEAF!  Cole is back up . . . super kick to Malenko breaks it up!  Cole picks Malenko up . . . powerbomb + backstabber combo to Malenko!!!!  Cross-arm breaker to Malenko's injured arm by O'Reiley!!!!  Benoit and Cole are fighting on the apron . . . DEATH VALLEY DRIVER TO COLE ON THE APRON BY BENOIT!!!!  In the ring, Malenko is barely holding on as O'Reiley cranks away in the arm breaker . . . Benoit climbs up top . . . DIVING HEADBUTT TO O'REILEY WHILE HE HAS THE CROSS-ARM BREAKER LOCKED ON MALENKO!!!!  The hold is broken, and Malenko grabs O'Reileys legs and locks on the Texas Cloverleaf!  Benoit goes to the top rope again . . . Diving headbutt again to O'Reiley while locked in the Texas Cloverleaf!!!!  O'Reiley taps!!!!  Benoit and Malenko retain in a war!!!!  
   

 


Before the main event, we get a promo on some alumni of SSW.  It goes through the UWF, talking about how many SSW alumni have gone on to be successful in other organizartions after coming through SSW first . . . Nigel McGuiness in WLW, John Morrison and the Miz in RWA, Matt Hardy in APW, Austn Aries in HLW, and Team Domination in RWA are mentioned . . .


Main Event: Fatal Fourway for the SSW Genesis title (special referee Kurt Angle)

Angle calls the match right down the middle for everyone involved, and all 4 men put on a show.  During the course of the match, Tomko tries to get involved and help Cody out, but Angle plants him with the Angle Slam!!!!  Angle pulls his referee shirt off . . . ANKLE LOCK TO TOMKO!!!!  Cody comes in and nails Angle with the rolling bionic elbow!!!!  Angle gets knocked out of the match, and another referee comes down to take his place while Angle is being checked on at ringside.  The match continues, and Cody brings the SSW title into the ring and nails Danielson with it . . . then hands the belt to Styles!!!!  The replacement ref sees this and thinks AJ is the one that used the belt, and DQ's AJ!!!!  AJ is eliminated!!!!  Styles is pissed, and he attacks everyone in the match!  He even gives the ref the Styles Clash!!!!  AJ leaves the ring, and Cody takes advantage of the fact that Danielson has been KO'ed and he picks him up and nails the Cross Rhodes!!!!  He covers and gets the 3 count, and Danielson is eliminated too!!!!  


It is down to Cody and Cena!  Cena immediately takes the fight to Cody, nailing him with the Proto-plex (back suplex spun out into a power bomb).  YOU CAN'T SEE ME!!!!  Cena hits the ropes and nails the 5 knuckle shuffle!!!!  He signals for the F-U, but Cody nails him with some elbow strikes to the head!  Cena drops Cody . . . ROLLING ELBOW ROCKS CENA!!!!  Cody springs off the ropes . . . BEAUTIFUL DISASTER!!!!  1 . . . 2 . . . Noooooo!  Cena kicks out!!!!  Cody goes to finish Cena with the Cross Rhodes, but Cena reverses out and gets a drop toehold . . . STFU!!!!  Cody is about to tap but Truth Martini gets on the apron.  Cena lets go and pulls Martini into the ring . . . F-U TO MARTINI!!!!  Low blow from behind by Cody . . . CROSS RHODES!!!!  Cody covers . . . 1 . . . 2 . . . Nooooo!  Cena kicks out!!!! Cody picks Cena up . . . Rolling Bionic Elbow misses and Cena scoops him on his shoulders . . . F-U!!!!  Cover . . . 1 . . . 2 . . . Nooooo!  At the last second Cena is pulled outside by . . . WADE BARRETT????


The entire United Kingdom has hit the ring and they are attacking John Cena!!!!  Cena fights back, but he is outnumbered!  ANGLE IS BACK IN!!!!  Angle is back in and he comes to the aid of Cena!!!!  Cena and Angle are fighting off the United Kingdom!!!!  ANGLE SLAM TO SHEAMUS!!!!  Barrett knocks Angle out of the ring . . . THEN EATS AN F-U FROM CENA!!!!  Celtic War Sword to Cena from Sheamus!!!!  Sheamus sets and pounds his chest in preparation for the Brogue kick . . . JEFF HARDY HITS THE RING!!!!  Hardy nails Sheamus with the Twist of Fate!!!!  Hardy grabs a chair and holds the United Kingdom at bay . . . THEN TURNS AND KO'S CENA WITH A VICIOUS CHAIRSHOT!!!!  





The crowd falls silent in stunned disbelief as Hardy stands over Cena with the chair in hand, then he drops it and walks off!!!!  Cody crawls over and lays an arm across the chest of Cena, and Barrett tosses one of the referees back in the ring.  The ref slowly counts the 1 . . . 2 . . . 3!!!!  Cody Rhodes has retained the SSW Genesis title!!!!





After the match, Cena is helped to the back while Cody is a beaten mess in the ring.  A disgusted Kurt Angle walks off from the ring, but Cody yells at him to come back to the ring and raise his hand because he is the winner!  Angle still continues to walk off, but Cody yells at him again to come back and raise his hand.  Angle comes back to the ring . . . BUT LAYS OUT CODY WITH THE ANGLE SLAM INSTEAD!!!!  The show ends with Cody laid out in the ring, but still the SSW Genesis champion!
