Rising Sun Wrestling: STORM 2019 (6/14/19) Taiji-ishimori-celebrates-the-victory-after-the-iwgp-jr-heavy-weight-picture-id1129163906?s=612x612.....VS.....Rising Sun Wrestling: STORM 2019 (6/14/19) Latest?cb=20170809223118

Taiji Ishimori 7-2    vs    David Finlay 3-3

Ishimori has become quite the crowd favorite and they root for him hard against the Gaijin. Finlay fights more aggressive than usual. Hitting a Diving European Uppercut. HZK 5-2    vs     Tam Nakano 3-1

Azumi is seconding HZK while Natsu Sumire is in Tam's corner. Tam is very underrated and really gives HZK a tough go of it. She looks for a Flying body press from the top but HZK counters into a Gutbuster. She goes iup... HZKrunch. 1.. 2.. 3!

Winner: HZK (6-2)

(After the match Sumire attacks from behind but Azumi runs in and spears her. HZK & Azumi stand tall.)

INTERMISSION

Mao, The Yellow Barbie steps into the ring for her interview segment.

Rising Sun Wrestling: STORM 2019 (6/14/19) O0635096012674717817

Mao: Please welcome to the ring....Syuri & Hikaru Shida, Kanagawa Krush! Ladies, you will be challenging the Hell-O-Ween Queens at the Japan Bash Show for the World Tag Belts.

Syuri: And it's about time! We are undefeated here in RSW. Taking on any and all challengers. Yet the UWF Board of Governors treat us like nobodies because we don't play nice like their usual "divas".

Shida: And we NEVER will! We told you over a year ago. We are the new mode of womens wrestling. We don't smile. We don't play nice. We don't do photo shoots. All we do... is win.

Mao: I can't deny that you have been very dominant here in RSW. Now with this opportunity on such a big stage this could be your chance for that recognition..

Shida: Are you mental? Recognition? For what just being there? You think we want a participation trophy?

Syuri: You know how we're going to get recognized? By defeating the Queens and making them take that long flight back to New Orleans with their luggage a lot lighter. And since no one wants to "see us" After we win those belts... If you want a shot at them...

Shida: You're going to have to come to OUR HOUSE.

Mao: Well you heard it here first. Kanagawa Krush is vowing to take the titles and keep them right here in Japan. I can't wait for this. Thank you ladies.

6TH BATTLE

Rising Sun Wrestling: STORM 2019 (6/14/19) 250?cb=20180908164522.....VS.....Rising Sun Wrestling: STORM 2019 (6/14/19) 86a14bbc

CIMA 7-5     vs     Taka Michinoku 2-4

This is the last member of Suzuki-gun to face before he gets his shot to once again face Minoru Suzuki. So CIMA is pumped right out the gate and is rocking Taka. But CIMA does a dive to the floor and rolls his ankle. Doctors run out but CIMA refuses to let them stop the match he crawls in the ring and of course Taka is all over the injury. Taka applies a bunch of holds but CIMA wont quit. Michinoku applies a Figure Four and CIMA passes out from the pain. The ref counts, 1.. 2..

NOOO!!! Cima pops up! He has the agony sketched on his face as he is able to turn and reverse the hold. Taka is yelling now he is having trouble freeing himself. Finally he does. CIMA up gingerly, hits him with a Legdrop Bulldog. Then hits Crossfire (Double Pumphandle Sitout Powerbomb, transitioned into a straight jacket triangle choke). Taka is flailing away but has no recourse and taps out.

Winner: CIMA (8-5)

7TH BATTLE - RSW WOMENS CHAMPIONSHIP

Rising Sun Wrestling: STORM 2019 (6/14/19) CoWuj0WVMAE_b10.....VS.....Rising Sun Wrestling: STORM 2019 (6/14/19) Dd7lx3m-b8e3d1eb-9b56-4263-988f-c2b2c47dcc01.png?token=eyJ0eXAiOiJKV1QiLCJhbGciOiJIUzI1NiJ9.eyJzdWIiOiJ1cm46YXBwOjdlMGQxODg5ODIyNjQzNzNhNWYwZDQxNWVhMGQyNmUwIiwiaXNzIjoidXJuOmFwcDo3ZTBkMTg4OTgyMjY0MzczYTVmMGQ0MTVlYTBkMjZlMCIsIm9iaiI6W1t7InBhdGgiOiJcL2ZcLzkwMTFiZTE1LTJlNzYtNGY5OC1hYzA3LWU4NmJlYWIxZmNjZVwvZGQ3bHgzbS1iOGUzZDFlYi05YjU2LTQyNjMtOTg4Zi1jMmIyYzQ3ZGNjMDEucG5nIn1dXSwiYXVkIjpbInVybjpzZXJ2aWNlOmZpbGUuZG93bmxvYWQiXX0

Io Shirai 9-1    vs    Kagetsu 4-2

Kagetsu, the leader of Onna-Musha had a sot in the early days of RSW for this title. Now she gets a chance at redemption. Yumi Ohka, Natsu Sumire, Tam Nakano are all here in support. Io though has really been on her game and has things well in control early on. but she gets tripped up by Tam which leads to a Facebreaker by Kagetsu. Now she takes over a while. She sends Io out to the floor where her stable mates start attacking. Out from the back runs HZK, Azumi & Hiroyo Matsumoto. THey go after Onna-Musha and fight them all he way to the back Kagetsu is pissed but throws Io Back in the ring. She gives her a Chokeslam and covers for a near fall.

Io comes back with an enzuguiri then nails a Rider Kick. She covers for two. She goes up top for the Exclamation Point (Moonsault Double Foot Stomp). She leaps but Kagetsu rolls out the way. Io jams her leg slightly and Kagetsu grabs her and hits the Ebisu Drop (Samoan Driver). Now Kagetsu goes up for the Roller Coaster (450 Splash)..... Io Moves out the way! She executes the Io de Janerio (La Magistral into a Gannosuke Clutch). She gets the 3 count.

Winner: Io Shirai (10-1)

(After the match Io asks for a microphone. She says she's not worried about any new challengers coming out because she's beaten them all. So now it's time for her to do the challenging. She calls out Ruby Riot to face her at the Japan Bash Show and defend her World Championship. She gets a big pop from the crowd.)

8TH BATTLE

Sadist Colony w/Mio Shirai    vs    Kaz Hayashi, Dragon Lee, El Samurai & Kota Ibushi

Mio's very successful group are here in full. She has them in tactical mode and targeting El Samurai throughout. Bushi looks to put him away with the MX but he hits him with a leaping palm strike. He makes the tag to Dragon Lee who is clearing house. He and Kamaitachi then have a stellar sequence of moves and they wind up on the floor. Soon it gets crazy as it usually does and everyone is battling.

EVIL has Kaz alone in the ring and hits This is EVIL (STO). He covers 1.. 2.. Broken up by Ibushi! Now Sanada and EVIL give him a Double Sidewalk Slam. Samurai dropkicks Evil through the ropes and dives out on him as Sanada goes up and nails a Moonsault. 1.. 2.. No! Kota is up and immediately has wrist control.  Kamigoye (Double wrist-lock knee strike to a kneeling opponent)!!!!! He covers as the rest of Sadist Colony are held away. 1.. 2.. 3!

Winner: Kota Ibushi 5-3

MAIN EVENT

GoShinGo & Chris Jericho    vs    The Blonde Bashers & KENTA 1-0

Obviously the story here is Chis Jericho who stunningly showed up at Vengeance and attacked the RSW Champion, KENTA. He wanted a title match but Mr Inoki denied that request instead booking this match in the Main Event. We get a fairly standard tag match with KENTA and Jericho never getting time in the ring with one another. Jericho is working over Makabe. Then Togi catches him with a Southpaw Lariat. He reaches out and tags... KENTA. Finally the crowd comes to its feet. KENTA and Jericho stand in the ring staring at each other....

Then Jerico tags Go Shiozaki. The fans are booing. KENTA goes to work on him a bit. But Shingo catches him with a knee to the kidneys when he hit the ropes. KENTA is down and Jericho is screaming for the tag. He comes in now and is mauling the Champion to a loud sustained boos from the audience. Chris jumps up and laughs which riles the fans up even more. He locks KENTA in the Walls of Jericho. He refuses to tap but Chris keeps it locked in. Then Honma runs in and hits Jericho with a Torpedo Kokechi to break up the hold. KENTA crawls and tags in Honma who clotheslines Jericho. In runs Takagi and he's slammed and gets a Kokechi. Shiozaki comes in and he gets a Bodyslam/ Kokechi as well.

Jericho stands and he gets hit with a Michinoku Driver and Honma looks to the crowd Togi Makabe points to the buckle. Honma goes up as the crowd is cheering. Top Rope Kokechi!!!! MISSES!!!! Codebreaker by Jericho. He covers but Togi breaks it up. Now everyone is in the ring. The Bashers toss GoShinGo to the outside. KENTA hits a spin kick on Chris. Then hoists him on his shoulder for the GTS. But Chris elbows free and slides off and hits the Judas Effect. He covers the Champion and gets the 3 count!

Winners: GoShinGo & Chris Jericho (1-0)

Rising Sun Wrestling: STORM 2019 (6/14/19) Chris-Jericho-1068x738

(Kevin Kelly & Professor Tanaka puts over the significance of Jericho pinning the Champion here. Tanaka says it will be hard for Antonio Inoki to deny him a title shot now. They thank everyone for watching and wish everyone a Good night.)
