LES THATCHER:" Fans welcome to another exciting edition of SECW and we have a very loaded show today as we will have RICKT STEAMBOAT in action as well as Canadian Heavyweight Champion- CHRIS JERICHO! We will also hear from one half of the SECW Tag Team Champions-DEMOLITION AXE as well as hearing from SECW Heavyweight Champion- the Nature Boy- RIC FLAIR! And after recent events,our main event today is SID VICIOUS vs SUPERSTAR BILLY GRAHAM! And much more ! So let's go to the ring and start things off with newcomers to SECW-JACK and JERRY BRISCO!
1st Match: JACK/JERRY BRISCO vs The CUBAN ASSASSIN/ MR.X
The heels try everything they can think of to pull out an upset here but the BRISCO'S operate like a finely tuned team that you'd expect and after showcasing their scientific skills here, JERRY ends up getting a submission win when he applies an indian death lock on MR.X!
LES:" JACK...JERRY...first of all, we'd like to welcome you gentlemen to SECW and from the sound of the fans, it looks like they are welcoming you guys too!"
JERRY:" Well MR. THATCHER, it's definitely our pleasure to be here in SECW and to perform in this area in front of these great fans!"
JACK:" Thats right LES! Recently it seems that the NWA tag team scene has exploded with the addition of the National Tag Team Championship being introduced and we figured that the best way for us to get a shot at those big bad texans is to come here and try ourselves against the great teams here in SECW so i hope everyone is ready for us because we are more than ready for them!"
2nf Match: RICKY STEAMBOAT vs ED " THE BULL" GANTNER
STEAMBOAT had to avoid GANTNER'S attempts to use his size advantage by utilizing his speed and it worked perfect ! ED seemed to tire as the match wore on! GANTNER missed a charge into the corner which gave STEAMBOAT the opening he needed and as ED rose up, he was met by a flying cross body block from RICKY off the top turnbuckle , and STEAMER got the 1-2-3!
LES:" RICKY, you had a big size disadvantage there but your speed and experience prevailed in the end!"
STEAMBOAT:" Well thanks LES! He is a big, strong guy and i knew i had to use my own attributes to overcome whatever advantages he had!"
LES and RICKY are interrupted by JAKE ROBERTS!
LES:" Now hold on JAKE! This is RICKY'S interview time and there;s not gonna be any trouble here!"
JAKE:" Now relax old man! I,m not doing anything of that nature out here! You see,i'm just out here to ask MR. STEAMBOAT a few questions!"
STEAMBOAT:" ROBERTS, ask what you want but believe me...you try anything and you and I are gonna have a problem!"
JAKE:" Now calm down my friend! I come in peace...THIS TIME! I've mentioned on tv several times that I want to face you in that ring and not a peep out of you! So what's the problem STEAMBOAT? Are you afraid of what I might just bring out of you? Afraid I might actually make you show me and all these fawnning fans just who the hell you are?"
STEAMBOAT:' Are you finished ROBERTS? Are you done trying to play these little mind games? Well, i've heard you mention my name plenty of times but there's a time and place for everything ! So ROBERTS , the time is next week...the place ...right here on TBS!"
STEAMBOAT walks off as the fans cheer!
ROBERTS( with his evil grin):" LES.. that poor fool has no idea the storm coming his way!!"
And on those ominous words, ROBERTS walks off!
THATCHER:" Well, that is definitely gonna be a war! But now i'd like to bring out one half of the current SECW Tag Team Champions-DEMOLITION AX!"
AX comes out to a big pop as he greets LES!
AX:" Well LES, im going to make this short and sweet! As most everyone knows, my tag partner SMASH was injured by a cowardly attack by those two big goofs, the NATURAL DISASTERS a few weeks back and when SMASH is medically cleared to return then we are gonna show you two ,face to face, that it's a lot easier to jump on us than it is to jump off!"
The crowd's cheers quickly turn to boos as PERCY PRINGLE III interrupts but he is not alone as he is accompanied by TYPHOON!
PERCY:" Now listen up, you big clown! You can make all the excuses you want to but a butt kicking is a butt kicking and to be honest, i dont think there is a damn thing wrong with your partner...other than not having a damn backbone ! But you wanna do something about it. Well there's an empty ring and TYPHOON is just itching tom whip that butt again , so,,,,"
Before PERCY can sya another word, AX shoves his fat ass to the ground and clobbers TYPHOON over the top of his head, then dog walks him into the ring where he continues beating down the big man!'
PERCY signals to the back ,of course, out runs EARTHQUAKE!
QUAKE hits AX from behind, freeing up TYPHOON and keeps hitting AX as TYPHOON recovers enough to join in on the beatdown!
Before more damage can happen, HACKSAW JIM DUGGAN runs in,2x4 in hand, and hits a few well placed shots to their backs and the DISASTERS leave the ring ! PERCY implores his men to head back to the dressing room as DUGGAN tends to AX!
THATCHER:" Well, thank goodness for JIM DUGGAN and his help! But im sure the war between the NATURAL DISASTERS and DEMOLITION is just getting started!
3rd Match:Canadian Heavyweight Champion-CHRIS JERICHO vs LANNY POFFO
A damn good scientific beginning to this as JERICHO reminds the fans that he is quite the wrestler when he wants to be! But POFFO gets a slight advantage and JERUCHO resorts to his usual dirty tactics before hitting LANNY with the codebreaker and getting the pin!
4th Match: ONE MAN GANG w/ SIR OLIVER HUMPERDINK vs TED ALLEN
ALLEN gives it a good try but OMG is too damn massive and ALLEN gets squashed,literally, as OMG ends the match with the 747 splash!
SOH:" You know THATCHER...i'm getting sick and tired of seeing that cross eyed goof HACKSAW DUGGAN constantly sticking his nose in everyones business! He did it to my good friend PERCY and he's done it to me before ! Well the GANG and I are gonna put a stop to that very soon DUGGAN!"
THATCHER:" Well that remains to be seen but JIMM DUGGAN better keep eyes in the back of his head when it comes to those two!
Now the NWA is heating up as this year is just flying by and we have many more world tours coming up and SECW is planning to be a big part of that ! BUt we are fast approaching the summer months and that can only mean one thing-the Great American Bash and i'd like to announce that SECW will be holding their GAB show on July 5th in Gainesville, Florida at the world famous SWAMP! I'll be announcing more info as the weeks progress but rest assured we will have a great event planned for you fans and will have appearances by several world champs !
With that in mind,let's bring out SECW Heavyweight Champion- RIC FLAIR!
FLAIR comes out to a mixed reaction as he does have his share of fans!
FLAIR:" LES THATCHER, I hear you out here talking about the NWA World Tour...i hear you out here talking about the Great American Bash! but what i DON'T hear you talking about is the Nature Boy and YOUR SECW heavyweight champion! Now the disrespect that shown not only from you, but from people like BUTCH REED,DUSTY RHODES, and even the NWA itself is going to stop and going to stop right here...right now! BUTCH REED, you think because your podunk ass has got the jump on me on a few occasions makes you a big time player here? Think again boy! Sooner than later, the champ is gonna put an end to ypur little dream of thinking you are a big deal and i'll send you back to the rodeo with the rest of the clowns! As for the fat man himself, DUSTY RHODES,well, let's just say that you stand for everything i detest and when our paths cross, i;ll make you wish you became a plumber just like your old man!
Now as far as the Great Amerucan Bash goes...LEX LUGER! Big muscles...little brain! I've been biding my time,sitting back and watching you and from what i see, you aren't such a big deal! So i'm throwing out the challenge right now tpo you to step up and ne something you arent used to doing and that is being a man and put that 10 pounds of gold on the line on July 5th against the Nature Boy! And from what i see, theres a good possibilty that you may lose that belt before then so ol Naitch will face whoever is unfortunate to be holding that belt at that time! WHOOOOOO!"
5th Match: BRUNO SAMMARTINO vs TIGER CHUNG LEE
LEE uses his cheating ways to control things for the first few minutes but the italian strongman persevers and soon starts giving LEE a beating and eventually getting a near hug submission!
As the ref raises BRUNO'S hand, he is jumped from behind by CHRIS JERICHO! JERICHO has the surprise advantage on BRUNO nad hits the codebreaker on BRUNO before clamping on the Walls of Jericho! A stunned BRUNO is no match for JERICHO as he damn near passes out from the pain! Finally JYD runs in to break this up as a jubilant JERICHO heads to the dressing room! BRUNO actually has to be stretchered out due to his back injury!
MAIN EVENT
SID VICIOUS w/ PERCY PRINGLE vs former SECW TV champ= SUPERSTAR BILLY GRAHAM
Many tests of strength occur in this one but these two basically fight to a standstill! Eventually some timely interference from PRINGLE helps SID hit a powerbomb and get a pin!
Post match SID goes to hit a 2nd power bomb but before he can, SECW TV Champ-ODON MURACO runs in to break it up! But as he brawls with SID, the NATURAL DISASTERS run in and stomp MURACO along with SID! Luckily DEMOLITION AX and RICKY STEAMBOAT and JYD run in to even things up and we have a pier sixer going on as the show ends!!
