Midsouth Championship Wrestling # 5 : Rumble For Gold
Jim Ross : Hello folks . We got a lot to get to tonight . We know the results in Dublin . We know what happened. Bob Backlund is injured and out for a while . As a result the Midsouth Heavyweight Title has been vacated . Tonight we have a 14 man Rumble Match to crown the new Midsouth Heavyweight Title. Now in other news both Tully Blanchard and Dr . Death Steve Williams became compensatory picks for the new Gateway Championship Wrestling . Folks we will get right to the main event when we come back .
Break
Greg Valentine and Edge open things up . Valentine rakes the eyes and hits a European Uppercut. He puts the boots to Edge . Valentine pulls Edge up and tries to toss him out .

Iron Sheik becomes the number 3 man in this contest . Sheik boots Valentine in the back of the head . He knocks him out of the ring .
Greg Valentine os Eliminated
Sheik gets cut down by a Spear from Edge .

New comer Flyin Brian Pillman comes flying down the ramp . He enters at 4 . He chops Edge . Step up Enzuguri on Iron Sheik . Back body drop on Edge .

Blackjack Mulligan comes down and the number 5 entry is in a nasty mood . He lays out everyone with a clothesline . Pillman the first to stagger up , ducks under a BJM clothesline and then a dropkick to Mulligan . Mulligan rocks on the top rope and rebounds . He hits a Jaw Breaker style Lariat on Pillman who folds up like an accordion! Edge is up and the big Texan puts him out of the ring with a Big Boot .
Edge is Eliminated
Number 6 entry is Nick Bockwinkle . He attacks Mulligan from behind and puts a Sleeper on him . Pillman dropkicks him and Bockwinkle and Mulligan spill out to the floor . Interesting thing . Bockwinkle lands on top of Mulligan am never hits the floor . He steps on Mulligan and gets back into the ring . Sheik is putting the boots to him on entry . Bockwinkle uppercuts Sheik to the balls and spills him over the top rope .
Iron Sheik and Blackjack Mulligan are both eliminated.
Pillman and Bockwinkle stare one another down .
3…….2…….1 . Jim Ross tells us we are halfway through the rumble and the number 7 entry is Art Barr . Barr attacks Bockwinkle . Pillman is now trying to help Barr get rid of Bockwinkle
3………..2………1 . Number 8 is the Exalted One . Lee big boots a charging Pillman . Roaring elbow to Barr . Chokeslam to Bockwinkle .
3……..2…….. 1 . Harley Race enters at 9 . Race punches the Exalted One and knocks him silly . Now it’s Race and Bockwinkle in the corner . They are fighting it out . Lee I’m the meantime Lee slams the heads of Barr and Pillman together .
3……..2…….1 Kabuki comes out at 10 . Lee points to Pillman . Kabuki mist Lee and then hits him with a side kick that knocks him out of the ring !!
Brodie Lee is Eliminated
Jim Ross wonders what happened . He gets his answer when Gary Hart appears . 3……..2……..1
Cactus Jack is number 11 and he is furious . He goes right at Kabuki . He clotheslines him right over the top rope .
Kabuki is eliminated .
Pillman and Barr take a page out of RNR book and dropkick Cactus out if the ring .
Cactus Jack is eliminated.

Jerry Blackwell becomes the number 12 man . He headbutts Barr and knocks him silly . He dropkicks Pillman and then clotheslines him over the top rope .
Brian Pillman is eliminated .
Barr gets another headbutt and flails over the top rope .
Art Barr is Eliminated
3………2………1!
Magnum TA becomes the 13th man . Blackwell charges him and TA pulls down on the top rope and out goes Blackwell . Now TA gets off a Belly to Belly on Bockwinkle . But runs into a hard right hand by Race .
3………2……..1 !
Lord Humongous enters at 14 . Headbutt to Race , busting him open . Chokeslam on Bockwinkle . He goes for a running boot on TA but gets met with a Belly to Belly ! Humongous staggers up . Al four men are battling it out . They all lock up and try to take one another out of the ring . Bockwinkle and Race separate . Humongous gets off a chokeslam on TA . He goes to lift his man , but TA back body drops him . TA waiting on Humongous , but Brodie Lee comes out and clotheslines TA in the back of the head . Runnin big boot by Humongous .
Magnum TA has been eliminated.
Race and Bockwinkle are tied up still . Both leaning on the ropes . Humongous grabs them by the feet and just spills them both out of the ring .
Jim Ross : Lord Humongous has found his way to the Midsouth Heavyweight Championship !!! We are out of time .
