1. Zack Sabre Jr vs Finn Balor
This one is a clssic blend of high flying attack from Balor and technical mat wrestling from Sabre to counter. After nearly 20 minutes, Sabre gets a backslide to win the match.
2. Scott Norton vs Danny Spivey
While our first match was a technicians dream, this one is strictly up the brawlers alley as these two men are here to prove they are the baddest man in NJPW. The action is hard hitting as expected and the finish comes when Norton hits a brainbuster to win.
3. Kenta Kobashi and Mitsuharu Misawa vs Kronik
You want stiff...... you damn sure get it here. Kronik are making their Japan debut, but Kobashi and Misawa, who battled each other in the NJPW Heavyweight tournament, are here to fight. Kobashi hits the Burning Lariat into Misawas Tiger Driver on Clark to get the impressive victory.
4. Chris Benoit vs Naito for the New Japan Super Juniors title
The fans are ecstatic to see this one and Benoit and Naito do not disappoint. Following the trend of the night thus far, these two use striking blows and technical wrestling with neither man backing down. Benoit applies the crossface to Naito who taps out after 35 minutes of great wrestling action. Benoit and Naito shake hands after the bout then the cameras pick up Zack Sabre watching on in the isle way.
5. The British Bulldogs vs Shinsuke Nakamura and Kenosuke Takeshita for the NJPW tag titles
Shinsuke makes his return to Japan after nearly a year with his protege to take on the red hot Bulldogs and the fans are happy to see his return as they throw streamers into the ring, smother Najamura in admiration. Dynamite hits a flying headbutt off the top rope to Takeshita to get the win to retain their titles.
6. Masato Tanaka vs Minoru Suzuki
This one is a pissing contest to see which man can take the hardest hit from their opponent. Per the norm, Suzuki takes a beating early, before he shows his resilliance to retaliate. Suzuki hits the Gotch piledriver to win. As Suzuki celebrates his win, the crowd erupts as Bryan Danielson comes to the ring. Danielson has his Kingdom Pro Wrestling contract in his hands. Danielson looks into the camera and rips the contract in half then stares at Suzuki before leaving the ring.
7. Jay White vs Hakushi for the NWA Super Juniors title
Hakushi gives White fits in the early going, so naturally White reaches into his bag of dirty tricks to get the advanatge. White resorts to working on the leg of Hakushi to keep him grounded. But Hakushi wont be denied. He rocks White with a series of dropkicks and suplexes. Hakushi feels he has White where he wants him, and climbs the turnbuckles to hit his moonsault but White gets his knees up then hits the Slingblade to get the win to retain the title.
