Pat, you can feel the electricity in the air because tonight we crown a new NWA National champion!" Pat McAfee: "And I am pumped about it! But this just isn't ordinary match! This is War Games! Can you imagine being locked inside that ominous structure? While we will see a new National champion crowned here tonight...... it's quite possible that we could see someone's career end as well." Joey Styles: "It won't be for the weak of heart, that's for sure. But being here in Vegas, I have to ask...... Pat are you a gambling man? Who is your money on to walk out the new National champion?" Pat McAfee: "Ya know, being the General Manager for Progress Wrestling, it would be cliche for me to pick Adam Cole or Walter. But there's one guy I'm keeping my eye on and he just oozes Machismo. And that's The Bad Guy...... Razor Ramon! He's just made for this match in my opinion." Joey Styles: "You heard him folks! Call your bookies and get your bets in! But right now it's time to kick Saturday Nights Main Event off with a bang! Let's get up to the ring!" The crowd erupts as Eye of the Tiger plays and out comes the WWF Champion...... Hulk Hogan!!
Match One: Hulk Hogan vs Brock Lesnar w/Bobby Heenan for the WWF Heavyweight title The two collide in the middle of the ring . Lesnar scores with a double leg takedown and then slams his fist into the side of Hogan’s head . Hogan gets to the ropes for the break , but Lennar chokes him with two hands . The ref breaks gets to four and Lesnar breaks . Heenan yells for Brock to stay on him . Hogan is up firing shots to the head of Lesnar backing him up . Hogan with a big boot knocks Lesnar to the floor . The fans are going crazy . Lesnar is pissed . He slams his hands on the ring apron and gets back on the ring . Hogan kicks him in the gut , then hits him with a vertical Suplex . Hogan bounds off the ropes for his leg drop , but Heenan grabs Hogan’s leg and trips him .
Lesnar drops an elbow on the back of Hogan’s head and then grabs him up , Gut Wrench Rolling Suplex by Lesnar . Lesnar keeps his hands together and repeats the process five more times . Hogan is obviously hurt . Lesnar drives Hogan into the turnbuckles and then hits a side belly to belly . Now Lesnar works a Bearhug on the mat . Hogan is fighting like hell to keep his shoulders off the mat . The fans get behind Hogan . Hogan starts to fire up . INVERTED ATOMIC DROP BY LESNAR !!!! Hogan grabs for his ribs and falls to one knee .
Knee strike by Lesnar to the face . Hogan’s eyes roll to the back of his head . Lesnar covers 1…….2……..Hogan not out of it yet !! Reaches up and grabs the bottom rope !! Lesnar goes for a Kamura , but Hogan surprises Lesnar and puts on the Python Clutch!!!! ( Anaconda Vice if you don’t remember ) Lesnar fights like crazy . Heenan grabs Hogan’s leg puts it on the ropes and points . Hogan breaks the hold. Both men are spent . The announcers talk about how the Python Clutch took something out of Lesnar . Both men lay on the mat not moving . The ref refuses to count . Both men start to stir . They slowly get to their feet . Lesnar slams a right hand into Hogan’s head . Hogan returns the favor . Lesnar again . Hogan fires back . Lesnar . Hogan . Lesnar . Hogan . Lesnar . Hogan . Lesnar . Hogan ! Hogan ! Hogan ! Hogan !! Big Boot by Hogan !!! Ace Bomber ……… No Sir !!! Lesnar traps the arm and pulls him down into a Fujiwara !!!! The pain on Hogan’s face tells the story. He somehow finds the ropes . Heenan pushes his foot off . Hogan is about to tap ……. Valentine comes down with a chair and gives chase !!! Lesnar looks over and lets off the hold . He tries to go after Valentine , but Hogan grabs Lesnar from behind , a makeshift Scorpion Deathdrop !! Hogan covers 1…….2…….3 !!!! Winner and still WWF Heavyweight Champion Hulk Hogan!!!
Joey Styles: "It seems no matter how many times he tries..... Bobby Heenan just can't get the last laugh over Hulk Hogan!" Pat McAfee: "As great as Hogan is, you have to give the assist to Greg Valentine there! But I wouldn't want to be Mr. Valentine when Brock comes knocking on his door!" Match Two: Demolition vs The Zambui Express w/ Percy Pringle for the USWA tag team titles The fans are not really fans of either of these teams but it seems that for tonight,at least,they are getting behind the champs!
PERCY has a huge smug look on his face as he gives final instructions to his team and takes his place at ringside!
AX abd KAREEM stand nose to nose tostart off and exchange clubbing forearms which seem to be a standstill before KAREEM hits a quick knee to the mid section to take advanbtage!
After him and ELIJAH take turns working AX over near their corner AX is soon caught in a vice like bear hug by ELIJAH!
Finally after several attempts to escape have failed, AX uses a simple thumb to the eye and ELIJAH is forced to relinquish the hold!
AX makes the tag and SMASH lives up to his name as he smashes both members of the ZX and soon has things well in hand and hits ELIJAH with a series of clothes lines abd as he tries to rise it's several double forearm smashes,pun intended, to his back which lays him out!
This brings in KAREEM into the ring which brings AX in and all 4 men are brawling!
As the ref tries to get order,PERCY jumps on the apron and unbeknownst to ref MIKE SMITH, he tosses a chain to ELIJAH...which is intercepted by SMASH who promptly lays out ELIJAH and as AX keeps KAREEM at bay,SMASH gets the three count as DEMOLITION wins and successfully retains their titles!
Pat McAfee: "Percy Pringle looking likes he's ready to play quarterback for the Chicago Bears after that intercepted pass! These guys, Demolition are no joke! And they fit right in with what is Lready a very stacked tag team division in the NWA!" Joey Styles: "Pat we have a huge treat for the fans at home with our next bout. It's an exhibition match from our friends over in New Japan. A prelude if you will for next weekends Super J-Cup tournament!" NJPW Exhibition Match: Hiroshi Tanahashi vs "Switchblade" Jay White Tanahashi had the upper hand early, but White cut him off and slammed both of his legs into the ring apron several times. White continued to work over Tanahashi’s legs for a long period of time. Tanahashi finally fired back and cut White off with a dragon screw. Tanahashi caught White with a dropkick to the leg. He went to go up top, but White tripped him and slammed his knee into the ringpost as Styles and McAfee discuss both of these men being in the J-Cup tournament next weekend in Japan.
White got up on the apron, but Tanahashi caught him with a dragon screw. Tanahashi went up top and Tanahashi hit Aces High to the floor! The fans fired up with both men down on the outside. Tanahashi got up and rolled White into the ring. White avoided multiple Slingblade attempts. He eventually sent Tanahashi down to the mat and followed up with a deadlift German. White set up for the Kiwi Crusher, but Tanahashi turned it into a Twist and Shout. He held on and hit a second Twist and Shout. Tanahashi held on, but White collapsed to the mat. Tanahashi slid around White and hit an inverted dragon screw. He then hit White with another Twist and Shout. Tanahashi bounced off the ropes for a Slingblade, but White caught him and hit a big uranagi and both men were down.
White lifted Tanahashi up and dumped him with a sleeper suplex. White set up for a Blade Runner, but instead hit an inverted dragon screw. White got the Cloverleaf Hold and the fans tried to rally behind Tanahashi. White hit a chop block a short time later. Tanahashi blocked a sleeper suplex and nailed White with a big slap to the face. Tanahashi hit a straightjacket German a short time later for a nearfall and the fans fired up with claps. Tanahashi finally hit a Slingblade for the first time in the match. Gedo got up on the apron and Tanahashi knocked him to the floor.
Tanahashi went up top for Aces High, but White caught him and eventually got the TTO. Tanahashi struggled for a long period of time before rolling into the ropes to break the hold. Tanahashi hit a dragon screw to surprise White. White fired back and hit a dragon screw of his own. Tanahashi and White went back and forth. White went for a TTO, but Tanahshi blocked it and hit an inverted dragon screw. Both men crawled around and grabbed at each other’s legs. Both men got tangled up and agreed to back off. White backed off and then crawled back to Tanahashi. They began trading blows from their knees.
White got the upper hand and went after Tanahasi’s knee once again. He hit a big dragon screw and Tanahashi moaned in pain on the mat. The fans tried to clap in support of Tanahashi. White wiped out Tanahashi with a big running forearm in the corner and he went down to the mat. White mocked Tanahashi as he staggered to get to his feet and Tanahashi surprised him with a big lariat and both men were down. Tanahashi hit a dragon screw in the corner a short time later. White tried to surprise Tanahashi with a Blade Runner, but he countered it into a Slingblade. Tanahashi hit another Slingblade for a two count. Tanahashi went up top and hit Aces High.
Tanahashit went up top again and the fans fired up big time. Tanahashi hit a High Fly Flow to White’s legs. Tanahashi smiled as the fans fired up. Tanahashi applied the Cloverleaf Hold. He dragged White away from the ropes and fully applied it. Gedo got up on the apron and White began tapping out furiously. Tanahashi let go of the hold and hit a dragon screw on Gedo around the ropes. He went for the Cloverleaf Hold again, but White rolled him up for a two count.
White got a backslide and put his feet on the ropes, but Tanahashi managed to kick out. They went back and forth near the ropes and White pulled Tanahashi into the Blade Runner for the win!
Joey Styles: " Jay White with some questionable tactics there to gain that victory. But nonetheless, that win could give him all the confidence he needs heading into next weekends J-Cup tournament. And on the flip side of the coin, how will Tanahashi Rebound from this loss going into the tournament?" Match Four: El Generico vs Abdullah the Butcher w/Gary Hart ($50,000 Bounty Match) Very tentative start with initial lockups and breaks until Butchee gets a cheap shot in and headbutts the ribs, then holds the arm and shoulders for a nerve grip. Generico sells it with mild discomfort. Butcher goes to a dragon sleeper of all things for a moment before pinching the jowls. Side headlock, then Abby chokes Generico in the corner then hits a few karate thrusts chops to Generico’s throat area. Kevin Owens makes his way to ringside and complains to Gary Hart that Abby isn't being brutal enough.
Abdullah gets the elbowdrop for two only. Hart instructs Abby to inflict pain to Generico. And now the fork comes out of the boot and Abby starts stabbing Generico in the head with it. The ref calls for the bell, disqualifying Abdullah. Owens yells to get the mask off. Abdullah slams Generico then he misses an elbow drop. Generico kicks away at the legs and chest of Abdullah rocking the big man. KO storms the ring but Generico sees him coming and bails out.
Kevin Owens: "I've had it with this nonsense Sami! This isn't about a bounty anymore! This is personal. And if I can't pay guys to get that mask off you and prove it's you...... maybe it's time I do it myself! Pat McAfee...... your the Progress General Manager...... not only do I want in the Battle of Los Angeles tournament..... I want Generico in the first round!" McAfee stands up from the announce table and looks around the crowd then takes the housemic.....
Pat McAfee: "Ya know KO, this is Saturday Nights Main Event. This isn't the place to conduct Progress Wrestling business. But I'm all about giving the people what they want. So consider it done! But only on one stipulation...... there must be a winner! If Generico wins, you drop this obsession you have. If you win....... Generico must unmask!" Match Five: Randy Savage vs The Undertaker for the NWA World title Savage goes right at him . He backs Taker up with some forearms and then bounds off the ropes with a clothesline that puts Taker into the corner ! Savage lands several knees to the gut and then a face crusher . Savage drives a knee into the head of Taker . He pulls Taker up . Big mistake . Taker grabs Savage by the throat. He hurls him into the turnbuckles and then Taker big boots his man . He snake eyes Savage on the top turnbuckle . Chokeslam by Taker !!! 1……2……Nooooo !!! Savage gets a foot on the ropes . Taker puts his man in the corner and then delivers an elbow shot .
Taker unloads with punches to Savage’s ribs . Taker puts Savage in a back body vice . Savage seems to be weakening . His feet finds the ropes . The ref makes Taker break . He simply walks out from under Savage who hits the back of his head on the mat . Taker pulls Savage up and goes for The Last Ride . Savages fights his way out , ends up on his feet and clotheslines Taker over the top rope . Savage now goes up . Double Axe Handle by Savage puts Taker down !!! Savage rolls his man back in the ring . Savage with a body slam and goes up for the Flying Elbow …….. HELL’S GATE BY TAKER AS SAVAGE IS COMING DOWN !!!
Savage is in trouble . The announcers wonder if this is it . Taker is going to be the NWA World Heavyweight Champion once again ?? Savage fights like crazy to keep in touch with reality , his feet finds the ropes . Savage off the break rolls to the outside . Taker waits on the inside . Savage staggers up , Taker comes soaring over the top rope , Savage just moves and Taker crashes into the railing . Savage carries his man over the shoulder and then snake eyes him on the ring apron . He rolls Taker back in . Savage off the top ….. FLYING ELBOW !!!!! He covers 1…….2……3 !!!
You’re winner and still NWA World Heavyweight Champion The Macho Man Randy Savage !!!!
Joey Styles: "I don't believe there's been anyone better than "The Macho Man" since he initially won the National title...... then going on to win the NWA World title. The man has beaten the best of the best, and continues to do so. But speaking of the National title..... it's time for the match we have all been waiting for. It's time for WAR GAMES!" 
The lights in the arena dim and we see the cage structure start to lower over the ring. Which means one thing...... it's time for WAR!!!
Once the cage is lowered, the cameras pan to the entrance way and we see entrant number one......
Joey Styles: "Not only is this bad news for Progress Wrestling..... but this has to be terrible for Adam Cole! If he has any chance of becoming the new National champion, he's going to have to overcome a miracle here tonight!" As Cole enters the steel structure, out comes Entrant #2.......
Joey Styles: "And if drawing the number one entrant wasn't bad enough, now Cole will be stuck inside the cage against The Bad Guy for five minutes!" Both men are locked in the cell and reality sits in with Adam Cole who is absolutely shitting himself. Ramon stalks him around the outside of the ring before laying into him and going old school early on. Cole is absolutely lobbed out the ring by Ramon then Razor continues to retain control before lobbing Cole into the cage, trying to follow it up with a splash, missing, and Cole takes control.
Cole gets himself back into the ring before sending himself back out again and sending Razor into the cell with a suicide dive. Cole climbs the cell and drops the elbow off the cage wall. Cole rams Ramon with the steps and then climbs on the bottom half and piledrivers Razor into the steps.
After a couple more shots from Cole they’re back in the ring and Cole has a chair. Cole cracks him over the back. All of a sudden Razor is fighting back and throws Cole over the ropes and onto a cameraman. This pisses Cole off, so Cole proceeds to beat fuck out of him as the buzzer rungs and entrant #3 comes out.......
Joey Styles: "We all know the story..... Adam Cole has stated he will win this match on his own. Well he's going to have to because he has no friends here tonight because here comes "The Heartbreak Kid" and we know there's no love loss between these guys!" Cole dodges a Sweet Chin Music and then rushes Michaels and Michaels whips Cole into a corner but Cole doges which causes Michaels to run shoulder-first into the ringpost. Cole attacks Michaels’ back and goes for a German suplex but Michaels tries to fight out, only to eat a northern lights suplex instead. But Michaels does his classic bridge into a backslide. But Cole fights out and HBK clotheslines Cole out of the ring. a springboard shoulder tackle sends Cole to the cage wall.
Now HBK and Razor lock eyes! They shove each other and then Michaels sends Razor into the ropes. Razor holds on to block Sweet Chin Music, fully aware of how dangerous that move is. Michaels fights out of a corner and goes for a corner whip but Razor reverses it. Michaels goes for the flip over counter thinking Razor’s chasing him but Razor’s one step ahead and goes for the Razor’s Edge. But this time Michaels escapes, aware of how dangerous Razor’s finisher is as the buzzer rings and entrant #4 comes out......
Michaels hit a double axe on Perfect as he enters the cage. Hard whip into the corner by Michaels and he did it again with Perfect selling it in a big way. Michaels worked on the back of Perfect some more with a backbreaker. Perfect started a comeback with a dropkick followed by a back body drop and atomic drop for two. Perfect went for a backslide, Michaels fought it off and Perfect hit the Perfectplex only for Razor to drop an elbow drop to Perfects midsection as the buzzer goes off for entrant #5........
The live crowd goes ballistic as Rock makes his way into the steel structure! Once inside, Rock doesn't hesitate and all five men go at it. Cole charges Rock and gets a backbone drop for his troubles. Razor now trades punches with Rock. HBK and Cole keep their rivalry going as the bodies begin to fly when the buzzer rings and out comes the 6th and final entrant......
As Walter enters the cage, Joey Styles reminds the viewers that now the match gets crucial for the participants as pinfalls and submissions are the only way to be eliminated until there is only one man left!
Walter worked over Cole with an elbow to the head. Perfect sent Razor into the cage. Rock battled Razor in the ring as they exchanged punches and Rock hit a leaping clothesline to knock down Razor. Perfect and Razor went at it in the ring with Razor hitting a facebuster, but Perfect came back with the Thesz Press, punches and an elbow drop. Perfect jumped on Razor’s back against the ropes for a two count. Razor delivered a jumping knee to Perfect while Cole was choking Rock in the ring. Razior whipped Perfect ’s left leg into the ring post. Rock hit a Samoan Drop on Cole for a two count. Cole came back with an elbow to Rock. HBK pulled Cole out of the ring. Razor suplexed Perfect on the floor. Walter whipped Rock into the cage and then Cole hit a sliding dropkick that sent Walter into the cage. Cole sent Walter into the steel steps. Perfect knocked down Razor with a clothesline on the floor. Perfect grinded Razors face against the cage and then whipped him into the cage. Razor came up bleeding after that. Perfect kept on driving Razor’s face into the cage with Perfect walking him around the ring and then a hard whip into a post. When Perfect got back into the ring under the bottom rope, he was met with a Walter leg drop to the back/neck. Walter covets, 1......2.......3!
***MR. PERFECT ELIMINATED ***
Razor hugged Walter as if he was going to work with him, but then Razor hit a low blow on Walter for two. Rock hit a DDT on Razor, 1.......2........3!
***RAZOR RAMON ELIMINATED ***
Cole hit "The Boom" on Rock for two as HBK made the save by hitting Cole. Cole looks surprised at HBK and yells "WE COULD HAVE ELIMINATED HIM!" HBK shrugs his shoulders then nails Cole with Sweet Chin Music 1......2....... Walter drops an elbow an HBK to break the pinfall as Styles and McAfee question why the guys are stopping potential pinfalls.
HBK and Cole battled on the floor with HBK sending Cole into the cage multiple times, busting Cole open. Rock hit a clothesline on Walter. Rock clotheslined Walter over the top to the floor. Cole went after Rock but Rock gives Cole a Rock Bottom! 1.......2.......3!
***ADAM COLE ELIMINATED ***
HBK is in the corner, warming up the band, unbeknownst to Rocky. The crowd feels it...... Rock gets uo to his feet and turns around......SWEET CHIN MUSIC BY HBK........NO!!!! Rock ducks it. HBK spins around........ ROCK BOTTOM FROM THE ROCK! 1.......2........3!!!
***SHAWN MICHAELS ELIMINATED ***
Walter pulls himself into the ring as Rock gets back up to his feet. The crowd is electric as Walter and Rock stare each other down. Then Rock holds his arm out and motions for Walter to...... "BRING IT!"
Rock opened up with punches and Walter came back with a belly to belly suplex for two. Walter with three backbreakers for two. The fans were chanting “Rocky” as Walter hit a clothesline that sent Rock to the mat. Walter did a press slam followed by another clothesline. Walter with another belly to belly suplex for two. Rock ran the ropes...... Rock with a boot to the face, but Walter came back with a spinning powerslam. Walter with shoulder tackles to the ribs. Walter charged again, Rock moved and Walter hit the ring post with his shoulder. Rock hit a belly to back suplex. Both guys were down for a few moments followed by both men doing a kip up at the same time. The crowd goes nuts! Rock with two clotheslines...... Walter no sold them and Rock connected with a clothesline followed by a DDT, 1.......2......NO!!! Spinebuster by Rocky then Rock slapped on a Sharpshooter, but Walter made the ropes. Walter hit Rock in the back with a forearm. Walter with a belly to back suplex while holding onto a bearhug. After about two minutes of that bearhug, Rock fought back with punches.
Walter drove Rock into the turnbuckle. Shoulder tackle by Walter against the turnbuckle. Rock exploded out of the corner with a clothesline, punches and the dreaded spit punch leading to Walter bumping over the top to the floor. The crowd was cheering. The Rock with a clothesline on Walter. Rock with a catapult that sent Walter into the cage. Now Walter is busted open! Rock sent Walter back into the ring. Rock connected with a Rock Bottom, 1.......2......NO!!!! Walter kicked out. Rock was shocked by it. Walter picked up Rock and gave him a Rock Bottom! 1........2.......NO!!! Rock with a spinebuster. Rock threw off the elbow for the People’s Elbow, he ran the ropes, Walter popped up and crushed Rock with his Burning Lariat. The fans went crazy for that. Walter wanted The Golden Bomb but Rock slipped out, Rock wanted a Rock Bottom........ Walter fought out. Walter with an arm twist right into a F5 that connected to a huge ovation. Walter picks Rock up...... LAST SYMPHONY BY WALTER! He covered Rock, 1.........2.......3!
Your winner...... AND NEWWWWWW NWA NATIONAL CHAMPION........ WALTER!!!!!!
Joey Styles: "That match...... was insane! Six of the UWF's very best gave it their all in one of the most hard hitting bouts we have seen in some time! But in the end, "Da Ring General" Walter carves his name into history by becoming the new NWA National champion! Can you imagine this 6ft-4.....300 pounder holding a title....... representing a country that he despises? OHHHHH...... MY GOD!"
