Gordon Solie : The National Wrestling Alliance is on the Road To Starrcade . I’m Gordon Solie . Normally you can hear me with the World Wrestling Federation every week , but tonight we host Saturday Night’s Main Event . Joining me tonight on color commentary a man who has recently been on a long tour of the world with stops in Germany , The UK , Ireland, Denmark, Switzerland, Canada, India, China and lastly Japan , Ted Dibiase
Ted : Thank you Gordon . Great to be here . Tonight 5 matches . All 5 winners will go onto Starrcade , Christmas Eve night for the NWA World Championships. Up first a ladder match to see who will go on to face the NWA World Super Junior Heavyweight Champion Chris Jericho .
Gordon : These ladder matches are generally a lot of action .
Ted : It’s uncontrollable chaos Gordon . It’s like watching 4 train wrecks at once .
Gordon : And with that let’s go to the ring .
Ladder Match
1. Chris Benoit
2. Bryan Danielson
3. Jay White
4. Eric Embry
5. Kenosuke Takeshita
6.Will Osprey
Benoit makes a B line right for White . He gets him in the corner , chopping the hell out of him . Embry goes to the outside to grab a ladder , only problem is Danielson has the same idea . The two battle it out on the outside . Takeshita hits Osprey with a jumping kick and then slides out of the ring to join Danielson and Embry over fighting for the ladder . Osprey does a flip dive out of the ring , knocking everyone down . He grabs the ladder and slides it in . As he tries to get in the ring however , he gets a low blow from Embry . Benoit sees the ladder and decides this is the perfect time for a snap Suplex for White onto the ladder .
Embry now gets in the ring and kicks both Benoit and White in the head . Embry sets up the ladder , Takeshita scales the ropes and dropkicks the ladder knocking Embry down to the mat . Takeshita goes to grab the ladder , but Danielson steps on his hand . White hits a Falcon Arrow on Benoit and now clotheslines Danielson in the back of the head . Osprey takes out White with a spear . Embry is back up and has a second ladder and he knocks everyone down , but Osprey who leaps over it and hits a cutter with Embry’s neck still in the ladder . Osprey goes out to grab a third ladder , but is cut down by a Danielson Suicida !!! Danielson gets back in the ring and sets up the ladder . He starts to scale it .
Now Takeshita is on the ladder on the other side . They meet at the top and exchange punches . Osprey is back up and he’s on the bottom half of the ladder and he’s Suplexes Danielson off of it . He starts to climb . Takeshita has his hands on the briefcase , but Benoit has shoved the ladder down knocking him to the floor . White kicks Benoit in the nuts , hits the Switch Blade . Everyone is down . White sets up the ladder and begins to climb . Osprey is back up . The two meet at the top . White takes the briefcase and slams it into Osprey’s head . White then unclips the briefcase !!!
Jimmy Lennon Jr : Fans the winner of the match and moving on to face Chris Jerihico for the NWA World Super Junior Heavyweight Title, Switchblade Jay White .
Gordon : Somewhat controversial, but Jay White is going to Starrcade .
Ted : Gordon , I wouldn’t call it controversial at all . All these matches here are made to test a man’s ability . This is what Jay White has in him and what he had to do .
Gordon : Good point , sir . We’ll be back .

Gordon : Welcome back . Right now Ted , we have the Four Way Elimination Tag Team Match .
Ted : Gordon , these are the best four tag teams in the NWA . All four teams have crossed paths more than once . This will be great and Doc is right behind me there . We are scouting these teams for future reference. These are the teams we gotta beat to eventually get to the top .
Gordon : Let’s go to the ring .

The Road Warriors start things off with Blackwell and Patera . The two teams stand in the middle of the ring and stare one another down . Then the fist start flying . Hawk and Animal get the better of the exchange and then hit both men with Flying Shoulder Tackles . They both go down . Animal picks up Blackwell and body slams him . Hawk clotheslines Patera out if the ring . Animal with a leg drop on Blackwell . He tags off to Hawk . Hawk with a diving fist drop off the top rope . He goes to pull Blackwell up , Blackwell thumbs him in the eye and falls backward and tags in Davey. Hawk recovers just in time to attempt a clothesline on Davey who ducks under , comes back up with a Powerslam !! He covers 1…….2…… Nooooo Broken up by Animal !!!
This brings in Dynamite . All four men are fighting it out in the middle of the ring . The ref is trying to get order restored . Dennis jumps in the fray for no reason . Or so we think . While this chaos is going on , Bobby clocks Hawk in the back of the head with JC’s tennis racket . He rolls out . Dennis rolls out . Davey hits Animal with a clothesline knocking him out of the ring . He then hits a staggered Hawk with a Powerslam. He tags off to Dynamite. Meanwhile on the outside , Blackwell Splashes Animal from the ring apron down to the floor . Dynamite scales the top rope . Flying Headbutt to Hawk !! 1……2……3 !!!
Gordon : And just like that the Road Warriors are eliminated.
Ted : Gordon smart play by MXE and Blackwell & Patera to handle things allowing the Bulldogs to get that pin .
Dynamite is quickly attacked by Dennis . Dennis slams his head in the mat and then tags in Bobby . Bobby with a shoulder breaker and tags Dennis back in , who ties Dynamite’s arm in the ropes and stomps on it . He tags Bobby back in and Bobby from the second rope drives a knee into the shoulder . Cornette calls for the Finish . Bobby goes up for the Alabama Jam , but Dynamite moves . Dynamite makes the tag to Davey . Stampede Slam by Davey as Dynamite blocks Dennis ! Davey covers 1……2…….3 !!!!
Gordon : It’s now down to the British Bulldogs and Patera and Blackwell !!
Ted : The Bulldogs have brought their A Game , Gordon . This is the same thing that made them the NJPW tag team champions.
Patera comes in , but gets lit up by Davey with a dropkick and then a stalling vertical Suplex ! He tags in Dynamite , just as Patera is getting to his feet . Running elbow smash by Dynamite and then a snap Suplex . He goes for a Flying Knee off the top rope , Patera moves and then gets off a press slam on Dynamite . He tosses Dynamite to the corner and shoulders him in the mid section before tagging off to Blackwell . Blackwell with a side belly to belly !! 1……2……Nooooo !!! Dynamite kicks out !!! Gordon and Ted can’t believe it . Blackwell pulls him up , he’s going for a version of the World’s Strongest Slam , but Davey dropkicks Dynamite in the back . He lands in a cross body position on a downed Blackwell !!! 1…..2…Patera breaks it up with a kick to the head . All four men are in the ring now . Patera is choking Davey on the corner . The ref is trying to get them apart . He doesn’t see Blackwell hit Dynamite in the face with the WWF tag strap !!! Blackwell tosses the belt out of the ring and then hits the big splash on Dynamite . Its Patera rolls out of the ring . Davey is holding his throat and coughing . Can’t gain his composure. Blackwell covers 1…….2……3 !!!
Gordon : And that’s all she wrote . Ken Patera and Jerry Blackwell have punched their ticket to Starrcade .
Ted : These two will do anything to win . Remember there was a time when they were part of the Freebird family. They know what being nasty is all about .
Gordon : We’ll be back .

Gordon : Welcome back . Well Mr . Dibasie it’s time for the Triple Threat Match . The winner goes on to face Walter for the National Heavyweight Title at Starrcade .
Ted : Gordon , these are 3 of the best wrestlers not only in this division, but the entire country . This is high stamina and high impact . You can’t pick a favorite to win . The speed of Shawn Michaels . The big power moves of the Rock and there isn’t a better brawler than the Bad Guy Razor Ramon .
Gordon : Very well put . Let’s get to it .

The Rock :
The Rock and HBK go right for one another exchanging fist . Razor is standing there laughing . They realize it and turn on him and start stomping away on him . Rock hits a Rock Bottom !! He goes to cover , but Michaels pulls him off and decks him with a right hand . Razor staggers up …. SUPERKICK BY HBK !!!! He goes for the cover , but Rock pulls him off and now the two are mixing it back up again . Razor is back up and smashes both their heads together and then clotheslines both . He celebrates in the middle of the ring . HBK is up first . Razor with three left jabs and then goes for a roaring elbow , but Shawn ducks under it and gets off an Atomic Drop and then from there gets off a face crusher !! He goes up for the flying elbow drop , but Rock is up and scales the turnbuckles and gets off a Superplex !
As Rock is getting to his feet , he is met with a big boot by Razor that drives him to the corner ! Razor now picks up Rock and scales the ropes . AVALANCHE FALL AWAY SLAM !!!!! Rock staggers up …… RAZORS EDGE !!!! 1………2……..Broken up by the last second by HBK . HBK with a flying forearm . Kip up by HBK !!! He starts tuning up the band …. Razor staggers up . Rock gets up in front of him not knowing where he’s at ….. SUPERKICK BY HBK HITTING THE ROCK !!!! Razor kicks HBK in the nuts . Te ref can’t do anything because of the no rules in a Triple Threat !! Razor grabs up Rock ….. A SECOND RAZORS EDGE !!! HBK still down holding his junk . Razor with the cover …. 1………2……..3 !!!
Gordon : Razor Ramon has cashed his ticket .
Ted : Gordon , Walter may have found the one guy who can hold his own and beat him . Razor is just as hard hitting . That’s gonna be a hell of a match .

Gordon : Welcome back and right now before we have the battle to see who will take on the Macho Man Randy Savage for the NWA World Heavyweight Title at Starrcade , Ken Resnick is standing by with one of the participants in that match Hulk Hogan as he prepares for battle .

Hogan : Kenny Resnick , let me tell you something dude . That no good low down Seth Rollins took something from me brother . The one title I fought so hard for . The WWF Heavyweight Title. A championship if I couldn’t hold the World Heavyweight Title this was one to be proud of . Well Seth Rollins tonight I’m gonna take something away from you brother . Something you cherish and that’s your shot to main event at Starrcade dude . Then me and Macho Man will go no to tear the house down and have the biggest box office draw ever , brother . Andre comes out . Headbutts Hogan from behind and then under Heenan’s guidance chokeslams Hogan through a table . Rollins comes out laughing .
Rollins : Cowardly Coyote or Sly like a Fox, Hogan . Hahahaha . You ain’t gonna even make it . Mr . Heenan , Mr . Romanoff your pay gentleman. A job well done . Hahaha .
Rollins hands them both large envelopes.
Rollins : Now if you’ll excuse me . I’m going to go get my hand raised . Savage . I hope you’re ready . See you at Starrcade , bitch !!!
Rollins walks down to the aisle and in the ring . He consults with the ref who whispers something to Jimmy Lennon Jr .
JLJ: Fans Hulk Hogan has one minute . If he does not arrive , the winner of this contest and moving on to Starrcade will be Seth Rollins .
Rollins cockily lays in the corner as JLJ informs the fans Hulk Hogan had 40 seconds . Then as JLJ is about to tell us Hogan has 20 seconds…..

Hogan limps down to the ring , there is a driven , angry look on his face . Rollins runs halfway down the aisle and attacks with punches . Hogan returns the punches and knocks Rollins on his ass . Dibiase ask Gordon did they really think a chokeslam through a table was gonna keep Hogan down ? He’s different, he thrives on the fans cheers . Gordon tells us right now 16,000 Hulkamanics are keeping him moving forward . Hogan grabs up Rollins and puts him over his shoulder . He presses him above his head and throws him in the ring !
Hogan slowly gets on the ring and Rollins leg drops him while he’s in between the ropes . Rollins chokes him on the bottom rope and then works a seated chinlock . Hogan gets to the ropes for the break and Rollins hits a baseball slide kick knocking him out of the ring . Hogan is on his hands and knees on the outside . Rollins goes for a Curb Stomp, Hogan moves . Hogan now with an Atomic Drop and then post Rollins , busting him open !! Hogan rolls his man in the ring . Rollins staggers up ….. Big Boot by Hogan !!! He goes for the leg drop , but Rollins moves !!! Rollins with goes up to the top . FROG SPLASH BY ROLLINS !!!! 1 ……2…….Hogan kicks out !!!
Rollins goes for a pedigree , Hogan back drops out of it . DROPKICK BY HOGAN !!! Rollins flies back into the turnbuckles ! Hogan puts him in the top rope and Rollins bites the forehead of Hogan and then shoves him off the turnbuckles down to the floor . Rollins now with a diving knee drop . Right to Hogan’s back . He rubs Hogan’s face in the floor and now Hogan wears the crimson mask . Rollins rolls Hogan back in and works a seated chin lock !! Hogan is fighting for all he’s worth . The fans are cheering him . He gets to his knees , but Rollins just kinda jumps on him . Hogan back in the hold . His body goes limp . The ref checks the arm . It falls once . He checks again . It falls twice . He checks a third time and to the crowds shock ……IT FALLS A THIRD TIME !!! The ref calls for the bell !!!
Gordon : I’m somewhat shocked and dismayed . Hulk Hogan for the first time in his career has went down to a submission and it will be Seth Rollins vs Randy Savage for the NWA World Heavyweight Title at Starrcade .
Ted : Gordon , Hulk Hogan was cheated man , not a defeated man . He took a chokeslam through a table from Andre The Giant any other wrestler , upto and including me would have never made it to the ring . Hogan is different though . The fans drive him and made his way down and fought like hell . His body went through hell and back . Andre The Giant , Heenan , Inoki and anyone else associated with the Heenan family will have hell to pay .
Gordon : Indeed they will . One more great match . An Elimination Chamber. Who will go on to Starrcade to face Gentlemen Chris Adams for the World Television Title ? We’ll be back !

Gordon : Welcome back and we are down to our final match . The Elimination Chamber to see who will go on to face Gentlemen Chris Adams at Starrcade for the NWA World Television Title .
Ted : Gordon this match is sheer brutality . You have a reinforced cage with 4 glass pods . In this demonic structure you have so many different styles . Brawling , technical prowess, high flying heroics and ground and pound . These six men who are entering this will never be the same .

Nakumura and Hansen start off . Shinsuke hits a high kick that staggers Hansen , the big guy shakes him off and powerslams him . Shinsuke staggers up big boot by Hansen . Hansen picks his man up Shinsuke out the back door …. Rear Naked Choke ……3…….2……1 !!! Shelton enters , grabs Shinske from behind . Release German Suplex on Nakumura. Hansen gets hit with a basement dropkick . Shelton with a back breaker on Shinsuke. Hansen is back up and clotheslines him in the back of the head . Hansen puts on the Boston Crab !!!! 3……2……1!!!!!
Tully Blanchard now enters . He and Shelton tie it up . Snap Suplex by Tully . He gets a little cocky and as he goes for a Figure Four , Shelton pulls him down into a Small Package !!! 1…….2…..3
Gordon : A rather quick night for Tully Blanchard .
Ted : Gordon , Nakumura has been in this hood by Hansen for over a minute and half . How is he not giving in or passing out . 3…..2…..1 !!!
Jimmy Snuka enters . He chops Shelton several times and then presses him above his head and hurls him face first into the chain link . Shelton is busted open . Snuka now dropkicks Hansen in the back of the head . Nakumura is free . Shelton staggers up a bloody mess ….. LARAIAT BY HANSEN !!! 1…….2……3 !!!
Gordon : And we are now down to 4 after Taz is released .
Ted : And he’s getting out in 3 seconds Gordon !!! 3……2……1 !!!
Snuka headbutts Hansen . Nakumura favoring his back staggers up ….. Taz with a T Bone Suplex into one of the glass pods !! He covers 1……2……3 !!!
Gordon : A great effort by Shinsuke Nakumura who lasted all this time .
Hansen goes for a Lariat on Sunka , who ducks under and comes up with a flying dropkick !! Hansen hits the back of his head against the cage and staggers right into Snuka’s Mandible Claw !! Hansen fights , but Snuka has it cinched . Hansen passes out . Snuka and Taz meet in the middle of the chamber . Snuka chops Taz , Taz chops back . Snuka returns fire . Taz fires back . Snuka with a headbutt , that sends Taz to the mat !!! Snuka with a knee to the head . Snuka picks Taz up and goes for a Vertical Suplex , but Taz reverses and hits a T Bone !!! Taz now goes for a release German , Snuka lands on his feet and he hits a release German instead, sending Taz into one of the pods . Taz is a blood mess . Snuka with a body slam right in the middle of the ring . Snuka climbs to the top of the pod and comes off with the Superfly Death Leap!!! Taz rolls out of the way and Snuka hits the mat hard . Taz locks in the Tazmission !!! Snuka is tired , worn out and passes out in the hood . Taz flat on his back and hurting gets his hand raised !
Ted : Gordon , we have our five challengers for Starrcade . Jimmy Snuka is a warrior . He’s not going anywhere for awhile .
