NWA & NBC Present … Saturday Night’s Main Event : Dream Match
Gordon Solie : We are live tonight at Manchester Arena in the UK . Tonight it’s Saturday Night’s Main Event . I’m Gordon Solie and with me Jim Ross . Jim you can feel the intensity here. JR : You certainly can , Gordon and what a show we have . Dream Matches . All of them great . All having implications of some type . Right now let’s send it down to Lance Russell who is standing by with Sting . Lance : Thanks Jim and Gordon , Sting , in just a few seconds you are going to kick things off here at Saturday Night’s Main Event. 
Sting : Lance when they came to me and said Stinger , we want you to take on Shawn Michaels at Dream Match . Well there was no way I was going to say no , but now you add in a shot at the National Heavyweight Title in Colorado to kick off the Bash ??? Oh baby it makes me a little nuts !!! Lance , OOOOOOWWWWWWW !!!! Let’s do this!!! Sting’s music hits and he goes out to the ring.
Lance : Shawn Michaels , here we are! 
Shawn : You know Eagle Beak , I’ve been here four days now and all these fans wanna see the Heartbreak Kid in action . Well me and surfer boy are gonna mix it up , but the end result will always be the same , me kicking his teeth down his throat and getting the 1…..2….3 and then the world has to get ready to call old HBK The NWA National Heavyweight Champion on June 24th . Match One: Sting vs Shawn Michaels The two lock up . Sting with a go behind takes Shawn off his feet and then hits a kind of leg drop to the back of the head . From there he gets off a body slam and goes up top , he nails a flying body press but HBK catches him and rolls through with it for 2 . HBK quickly goes for the Superkick , but Sting catches the leg and gets off a chest press slam . HBK rolls to the outside and Stinger goes for the Plauncha , but HBK just bales and Sting hits the floor . HBK with an Asi Moonsault! He rolls Sting back in and then goes for a flying forearm , but Sting catches him and turns it into a Spinbuster . Sting whips HBK in the corner and he runs in with the Stinger Splash !!!HBK catches him with Sweet Chin Music suddenly though !! He covers 1……2.,…3 !!!
JR : He caught him with Sweet Chin Music as promised Gordon. Gordon : Yessir Jim , he had been countering the whole match . One would have thought Sting was going to win this. JR: Fans when we come back , it’s Dr . Death , Bruiser Brody and One Man Gang in round Robin no holds barred action with a World Heavyweight Title shot on the line at Falcon Stadium to open up the Great American Bash . ***COMMERCIAL BREAK ***
Gordon : Welcome back to a sold out Manchester Arena . Jim this next match is going to be hard hitting. JR : Gordon , to quote you , it will be a peirsixer. Gordon , they brought in a damn shark cage to keep one man out of the ring at all times . Dr . Death Steve Williams who went a long way in March Madness , taking on Bruiser Brody who also went a long way taking on the ultra violent and dangerous One Man Gang in a round robin match . You have to win two consecutive to falls against both your opponents on this one . No time limit , no count outs , no disqualifications. We could be here for awhile . The winner gets a World Heavyweight Title shot at the opening night of the Great American Bash tour. Gordon : So you can bet that the Undertaker the NWA World Heavyweight Champion will be watching. Let’s send it back to Lance Russell who is standing by with Dr . Death Steve Williams. Lance : Doc , a big opportunity for you tonight . Doc : Lance ….. HUSS HUSS HUSS !!!!
Brody and Gang are already slugging it out . They get Doc involved and the 3 fight down the ramp way .
Lance : Well these three aren’t waiting for formalities, I see . Jim , let me just say the Slobber Knocker has begun !!!
The ref’s are trying to get two men in the ring , but they are all three busy bouncing each other’s heads off of anything nailed and not nailed down . Finally, after they get enough refs out there , order is somewhat restored .
Doc and Gang start things off while Brody is being held at ringside in the shark cage making noise and shaking it like a wild animal .
The fist are flying . Gang clotheslines Doc and then under the guidance of SOH hits a knee drop across the forehead of Doc which slightly dazed him . SOH slides in a chair and Gang slams it into Doc’s back . Gang with a back breaker and now works a Bearhug on Doc ! Doc fights through the tremendous pain and starts laying in punches to Gang’s forehead and then a gets out . Doc with just pure power drives Gang back into the corner and lays shoulders in across the ribs . Doc with a makeshift Samoan Drop on Gang !! He grabs his back though after the move . Gang with a double axe handle across the back and then a bodyslam on Doc !! SOH has seen enough . He calls for the 747 ! Gang goes up , but misses when Doc moves ! SPEAR BY DOC !! He covers 1……2…….3 !!!
Gordon : One Man Gang loses this fall , Jim . JR : More importantly, he’s down 1 fall . And Doc is up one .
Gordon : Indeed . If Doc can beat Brody here , he is your winner ! Brody is let out if the shark cage and charges the ring . He and Doc are throwing down . Doc clotheslines Brody over the top rope and then goes out after him . Doc slams Brody into the corner ring post and then rolls him back in . Brody with a big boot to the head of Doc upon entry and then a running Powerslam . Brody goes for the leg drop but misses !!! Doc with a Stampede on Brody !!! Doc is holding his back and slow to get up . Brody with a clothesline and then a chokeslam on Doc !! Brody covers and gets the 3!
Gordon : And just like that Doc and Gang are down a fall each. JR : And Gordon all Brody has to do is beat One Man Gang who has had a match already .
Brody meets Gang right at the shark cage and tackles him . The two spill into the cage knocking it over . Doc just shrugs his shoulders and goes and sits in a corner , taking care of that back . Brody is out if the cage first and big boots Gang to the face when he comes out . SOH hits Brody in the back with a chair . Brody just turns around and looks at him . Gang from behind slams Brody face first into the ring post and Brody is busted open . Gang now rolls Brody in the ring . Brody still dazed a bit ….. 747 by Gang !!! He covers and gets 3!!
Gordon : All 3 men are now down a fall. JR : Gordon , I don’t know what’s going to happen next! Doc charges the ring . He nails Gang with a Thesz Press and rains down punches . Doc gets to his feet Gang staggers up ….. Side Belly to Belly by Doc !!! 1……2….. SOH gets in the ring and just breaks it up by diving on Doc !!! Doc Bodyslams the little chubby bastard , but when he turns around , Gang meets him with a Powerslam ! Gang now works another Bearhug !! Doc is fighting for all he’s worth . His feet find the mat and he takes Gang over in a second side Belly to Belly ! Doc again grabs his back ! As he stumbles over to grab up Gang , Gang hits him with a low blow ! Gang goes up …… 747 BY GANG !!!! 1……..2…….3 !!!!
Gordon : And just like that , One Man Gang is moving on to the Great American Bash !! JR : But who will face Gordon , that’s the question , because later tonight we have a Royal Rumble Match . The winner will face the World Heavyweight Champion at our next Saturday Night’s Main Event , Sacrifice from Annapolis, Maryland. Gordon : Yessir , Jim ! And when we come back , we will have a look at that event and introduce our newest member of the NWA Progress , who will show us what they are all about in a exhibition match . We’ll be back .

Gordon : It will be a great night of action . Well Jim there are some new kids in town joining the NWA . It’s Progress! JR : Gordon , a very young and hungry roster of world renowned talent who are eager to show the world what they have .
Gordon : Let’s send it to the back to Lance Russell! Lance Russell: "Thank you Gordon! I'm being joined now by one of the men who will be representing Progress Wrestling in this exhibition match..... Matt Riddle! Matt what can we expect in this exhibition?" Matt Riddle: "First things first, Bro..... I've heard stories about you Lance Russell! They say your a party animal Bro! You gotta promise to meet up with me after the show and we will score some hot babes and you can tell me how you and Gordon did it back in the day! Deal bro? But as far as this exhibition goes, whoever my opponent is, we are just gonna go out there and have some fun! Roll around on the mat a bit, and show these UK fans what Progress will be all about. It's gonna be righteous!" Lance Russell: "Well there he goes fans! Let's get back to the ring." 
Riddle mingles with the crowd and is having a grand time as the crowd chants "BRO! BRO! BRO!" Then Riddle enters the ring and awaits his opponent.
Jim Ross: "Fans, it looks like business is about to pick up! This Walter is as tough as a two dollar steak! Progress is sending one helluva an exhibition match here!" Progress Wrestling Exihibition Match: Matt Riddle vs Walter Riddle just toys with Walter in the beginning kicking Walter in the thigh a few times. All the Grapples and SLAPS and go well and good for a couple minutes and then the big man pulls out a nasty little sweep of Riddle’s ankle and Riddle is in bad pain on the knockdown.
Riddle does get up at five, but then WALTER just immediately grabs him and hurls him in a power bomb. Riddle up at nine there. They trade some palm strikes, but Riddle trips him down and looks to outmaneuver WALTER on the mat. He does not; again WALTER’s size comes into play and he grabs an ankle, then when they get up, WALTER immediately charges forward with a huge boot to the chest, and Riddle is looking flat done.
But Riddle SPRINGS up at nine, and then takes WALTER down and hammers away with elbows and hammer fists to the back of the head until the referee stops the match. Riddle is unconscious and blood is coming out of his mouth as EMT's rush to the ring to assist him.
Jim Ross: "THIS IS SUPPOSED TO BE AN EXHIBITION MATCH! NOT A DAMN MUGGING! THIS MAN, WALTER HAS NEARLY DECAPITATED MATT RIDDLE! FANS, RIDDLE IS IN BAD SHAPE! BUT WHY? THIS WAS NO EXHIBITION!" Walter grabs the microphone away from Ross....
Walter: "I have no time for fun and games. There is no place for that in my ring! This ring is sacred. And I will defend it at any risk. I am The Ring General!" Jim Ross: "Fans, while they continue to assist Matt Riddle, we have to step away for a break. We will be back after these messages!" ***COMMERCIAL BREAK ***
Jim Ross: "Welcome back fans. At this time we can tell you that Matt Riddle has been out into an ambulance and is in route to a nearby hospital. I'm sure there will be updates on his condition soon. But getting back to tonight's action.This next match should be a slobber knocker . The winner gets a World Television Title shot at the opening Bash weekend.
Match Four: "Gentleman" Chris Adams w/Arn Anderson vs Jake "The Snake" Roberts Jake jumps Adams as he gets into the ring. He attempts a short-arm clothesline, but Adams ducks. He hits Jake with chops and a back body drop, so Jake rolls to the outside. Jake and Arn have a slight staring contest for a few seconds, then Roberts comes back inside and Adams works his arm for a while. He even hooks his leg into Jake’s arm and falls back to the mat, wrenching hard on it. He then hits some hard chops and a back kick, so Jake leaves the ring. He lures Adams to the outside, where he hits a chop block to Adams leg and then slams him on the floor. He takes Adams to the edge of the platform that the ring is on and starts attacking his neck and head. Jake then tries to use a chair on him, but Arn takes it away. Adams throws him inside and hits a flying chop to the head, before going back to the arm for a bit. They fight to the corner, where Adams goes for 10 chops, but Jake reverses him to the other corner. Adams jumps over the top rope. Jake slides out of the ring and catapults Adams into the ring post, causing Adams to stumble right off of the platform. Jake slams him head-first into the guardrail and we see that Adams is bleeding. Jake brings him back inside and starts punching at the cut. He then hits the short-arm clothesline and signals for the DDT. He tries for the move, but Adams hits a spinebuster to escape as JR and Gordon discuss that Adams has learned that maneuver from Arn. Both men are down as the ref begins his 10 count. As Adams rises up, Jake grabs his head....... DDT! Jake is slow to make the cover, 1.......2.......NO!!! Adams kicks out! Jake can't believe it and slithers into a corner in shock, talking to himself.
Arn pounds the mat as a bloody Adams begins to stumble up. Jake starts slapping at Adams in the face, taunting him. Over and over again. Adams pushes Jake off...... Superkick to Roberts! 1.......2........NO..... Arn puts Jake's foot on the bottom rope!! Adams looks out to Arn confused. Arn yells for Adams to "BEAT HIM WITH SOMETHING BESIDES A SUPERKICK!"
As Adams turns to Jake, Roberts goes for a desperation DDT but Adams reverses by spinning around Roberts and hitting a DDT of his own!!! 1......2.......3!! Chris Adams is your winner! Arn gets in the ring, where Adams is still looking at Arn in disbelief. Arn raises Adams arm in victory as the two make their way back to the dressing room.
Jim Ross: "Some strange turn of events in that match and how about Chris Adams taking a play out of Arn Andersons playbook and using the DDT to get the win? Gordon, one helluva night so far. How much more action can we take?" Gordon: "We will find out when we come back because it’s the Dream Rumble Match next ! The winner will get an NWA World Heavyweight Title at Sacrifice on May 27th . We’ll be back!" ***COMMERCIAL BREAK ***
Gordon : Welcome back and Jim it’s time for the Dream Rumble JR : Gordon , this is the most superstar studded rumble I have ever seen . Lance Russell is standing by with entry number 1 .
Lance : I’m …… 
Rock : It doesn’t matter who you are ? Just like it doesn’t matter that the people’s champ drew number 1 . The Rock is gonna lay the Smackdown on the number 2 entries candy ass and toss him out . Then jabroni number 3 will check into the Smackdown hotel and The Rock get rid of him . The Rock will hit HHH with the Rock bottom and he’ll go out and then the Rock will beat down the mighty midget Eddie Gilbert and send him back with the Lollypop kids to Munchkin land and the Rock will go in to Navy Marine Stadium and will become the NWA World Heavyweight Champion . If ya smelllllllllo lo lo low !!! What the Rock is cookin ! Lance : Well ok , I guess we go back to Gordon and Jim and get this started . The Dream Rumble :

The Rock takes center ring . He looks toward the entry and signals to just bring it . The sound shattering glass hits and Stone Cold Steve Austin comes running down the ramp way . And it is on !!!! The two men are mixing it up . Austin hits a stunner , goes to lift Rock 3……2……1 !
Keith Lee enters at 3 . He hits bodyslam on Austin and shoulder tackles the Rock . He grabs up Austin in a military press slam , but Austin gets out the back and spins Lee around ……..3…….2……..1 !
Kevin Nash comes in at four . He clotheslines everybody . He grabs up Rock and buckle bombs him . Rock staggers out of the corner , Nash goes for the big boot and Rock side steps .
3……..2…….1 !!
Hulk Hogan hits the ring and he and Nash tear into one another , forgetting what the contest is all about . Keith Lee hits a double clothesline on both men knocking them out to the floor .
Gordon : Out goes Hulk Hogan and Kevin Nash . JR : Gordon how about the awesome Keith Lee . 3…….2……1 !!!!
Entry number 6 is AJ Styles . He comes in dropkicks Rock into the corner and then a pele on Austin . Keith Lee charges , Styles pulls down the top rope and Lee’s momentum hurls him out to the floor !
JR : AJ styles just took out the biggest man in the ring . Gordon : And what a big display by this young Keith Lee eliminating both Hulk Hogan and Kevin Nash . Styles gets caught soon after in a Samoan Drop by Rock and then Austin picks him up and hurls him out to the floor .
Gordon : A quick leave for AJ Styles .
JR : Now the Rock and Austin are throwing down like they owe each other a million dollars and neither plan on paying it back !
3……2……1!
Drew McIntyer hits the ring at number 7 . He hits a Claymore on Rock and out goes the Rock.
Gordon : Well the Rock made it halfway to his prediction . JR and now Drew is staring into the eyes of the Rattle Snake ! Austin his Drew with a clothesline and then stomps a mud hole in him . 3…..2….1 !!!
HHH comes walking down the aisle and says something to The Rock . They shove one another and then Rock hits a Rock Bottom and then tosses a dazed Hunter into the ring . Austin tosses him right back out . Now Rock sets for a Samoan Drop on the floor for good measure and Eddie Gilbert comes out and waffles Rock in the back with a chair .
Eddie Gilbert slides in the ring and Rock in his knees yells Gilbert’s name and Gilbert turns and Rock flips him off . Claymore by Drew and out goes Gilbert.
JR : There are bodies all over the floor out here. Gordon : The hatred the Rock has for both Eddie Gilbert and HHH is burning down deep in him . And Austin and Drew are having a piersixer! 3…..2…..1 !!!
Lex Luger now hits the ring . A clothesline on Drew . A flying forearm sends Austin in the corner . Drew staggers up and Lex hits him with a clothesline knocking him out to the floor !!!
JR : Another solid showing by these young men from Progress ! Gordon : Now it’s the Luger and Austin and still two more entries to go . 3……2…..1 !!!
The next man out is Nikita Koloff .
The Russian Nightmare attacks with a furious flurry . A big Russian Sickle on a tired Austin takes him out.
Gordon : There goes Steve Austin a heck of a run by him. JR: And look what we got here Gordon 3……2……1 !!
Ric Flair becomes the last entry . He comes in a house of fire . Chops both men and then pokes Nikita in the eye and then a low blow . He dumps out Nikita ! Flair let’s out a Woooo !! To the crowd and turns right into a clothesline by Lex . Out goes Flair!!!
Gordon : And that’s all she wrote! JR : Lex Luger will face The World Heavyweight Champion at Sacrifice!!! 
Gordon : When we come back it will be a rematch of the Crockett Cup Finals. ***COMMERCIAL BREAK ***
Gordon : Welcome back . Jim it’s time for the main event . The NWA World Tag Team Championship.
JR : That’s right Gordon and this is a rematch from the Crockett Cup Finale . The Road Warriors are big , strong powerful men with speed . They take no prisoners. Now on the other hand the World Tag Team Champions are nasty costumers . The Freebirds will pull out all stops to keep those belts and aren’t afraid to mix it up with anybody . Gordon : Let’s one more time send it down to Lance Russell. Lance : Thanks Gordon and Jim . Hawk , Animal , I know you have been waiting to get back at these guys . 
Animal : Lance , you’re damn right . The last time , we underestimated you , we didn’t know what your capable of . This time we’re not playing around . Tell ‘em Hawk!!! Hawk : That’s right Animal . This time we go right to the attack . We’re gonna rip off your heads and puke down your necks!!! Lance : Um…. Thanks ? The Road Warriors hit the curtain and take their leave .
The Freebirds now approach.
Lance : The World Tag Team Champions The Fabulous Freebirds . The Road Warriors sounded angry tonight . 
Michael : Well it don’t matter none and I’ll tell ya why …… Two hands reach through the curtain and grab Hayes by the neck and drag him out . Animal meets Gordy right at the curtain and the two are mixing it up . Hawk chokeslams Hayes on the ramp way and now he and Animal are putting the boots to Gordy . Now the Warriors drag the Freebirds down the ramp and toss them in the ring . Hawk clotheslines Hayes out to the floor . Animal press slams Gordy and then hits a flying shoulder tackle ! Hawk comes off the top rope with a flying fist drop . Animal covers 1……2…… Hayes breaks it up !!! When the ref gets Hayes out if the ring , Gordy low blows Animal . Hawk tries to get in and the ref is warning him . While that’s going on Hayes is choking Animal with the tag rope , while Gordy beats on him unmercifully. Hawk sees what’s going on and wisely becomes a cheerleader . Gordy tags off to Hayes , BULLDOG BY HAYES !!!! Hayes tags Gordy back in and Gordy hits the Piledriver ! A cocky Hayes plays up to the crowd as the ref counts 1………2………..POWER KICK OUT BY ANIMAL !!! Gordy is in shock . He pulls Animal up again and Animal back drops out of it !! Gordy hits Hayes and knocks him off the ring apron !!! Animal makes the tag !!
Hawk comes in and nails a charging Gordy with a dropkick . Hawk now with a bodyslam and then hits a fist drop , followed by another and another and another . Hawk whips Gordy into the corner and shoulders him several times in the gut before breaking on 5 ! Hawk tags Animal back in . Animal with a gut wrench Suplex ! Who rolls through and hits a second and a third and the last one he turns into a makeshift Powerbomb ! Animal has Gordy in a Bearhug !!! Hayes is finally up on the ring apron . He’s urging Gordy to get his footing . Gordy does and he takes over Animal with a belly to belly of his own . Gordy makes the tag to Hayes . Hayes comes in and dropkicks Animal and then bites him in the forehead . Then rubs his face in the mat and then hits a Bulldog !!! Hayes covers 1……..2…….. Animal kicks out !!! Animal blows up Hayes with a clothesline . Then goes over and big boots Gordy off the ring apron . Animal tags in Hawk , puts Gordy on his shoulders …… DOOMSDAY DEVICE BY HAWK !!! Ken Patera and Jerry Blackwell come down and are on the ring apron.
Hawk has Hayes covered and you can’t count until 20 . The ref is trying to get Patera and Blackwell off the ring . Animal bounds off the ropes and hits a flying crossbody and all 3 men go flying off the ring . While the ref is in dismay , Gordy comes in and hits Hawk with a chair and then Hayes assist him with a spike Piledriver on the chair . Gordy yells for the ref to turn the hell around . Hayes is covering. 1…….2…… 3 !!!
JR : What the hell was Blackwell and Patera doing out here Gordon ? Gordon : Yes , rather unusual circumstances. I will say once again , these Freebirds know how to take advantage of a situation . JR : Gordon all four of them I’m told are in the back . See if we can get a word with the World Tag Team Champions and Patera and Blackwell . Lance : What the Sam Hell was that all about guys . Jerry , Kenny care to explain .
Jerry : Well it’s like this . Kenny and I was traded to the WWF . Seems Wally Karbo wants to protect his golden boys . So we thought , let’s go to England and check out this here Dream Match show that we wasn’t on .
Well we got down here and Kenny got hungry , so we stopped at a pub . Outside we see the champs and they are yellin and raisin hell . They point to a sign , no rasslers allowed. Well Kenny he don’t take kindly to that so he finds a boulder and yep , he’s kinda notorious with them and he chucks it through the window . All of a sudden every rassler in the world was welcomed . Hayes : That’s right brother . Now me and Terry we have known Jerry a long time . We raised hell in more than one bar together in GA . We got to talking over burgers and Jack and Coke and we got to see Kenny there get a little nasty . Now me and Terry , we dig nasty Lance . Next thing we know a few Jack and Cokes later and some shots of southern comfort as chasers we brought them into the world of Freebird Fantasia ! So they are honorary Freebirds !! They watch our backs and we watch theirs . Haha . Yeah Fantasia is spreading baby and we so dig it !!! Lance : So the four of you now ? Hayes : You heard it here first .
Lance : Well Jim , Gordon back to you . Gordon : WOW !! That explains a lot . JR : Now those damn Freebirds will be impossible to beat . [color=#33ffcc] Gordon : Indeed it looks like they plan on keeping those tag titles exactly where they belong . And we are out of time .
